“Now hold on a second!” Adagio said as she stepped forward. “I can’t speak for them, but you are right about me and my sisters. Both here and in Equestria, we have abused our powers for personal gain. But from what I have learned from these girls is that their focus is on redemption. Everyone that you have killed for abusing magic were all redeemed by The Rainbooms. They never used their powers for evil ever again.”

“There are those who can never be redeemed.” Killian then fired both of his eye and chest lasers at the Dazzlings. They instantly scattered as both laser blasts struck where they were standing, making a massive explosion.

Suddenly, Timber came speeding directly at Killian with the van. He bailed out at the last second, allowing the van to strike Killian and burst into flames.

Killian simply walked out of the fire and grabbed Timber by the throat. He then lifted him off the ground.

“Why do you protect those that have more power than you?”

“Because they’re my friends!”

Killian was about to crush Timber’s throat when the Dazzlings began singing in a high pitch. Noise caused Killian to drop Timber who ran away.

Twilight, Rarity, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, AppleJack, and Pinkie Pie all regained their composer. They then attacked Killian with another rainbow blast as the Dazzlings continued to sing.

“ENOUGH!” Killian shouted. The shockwave from his booming voice knocked everyone back. He then marched over to the anti-magic bomb.

“Killian, wait!” Twilight said. “You’re wearing magic armor. If you detonate that bomb, you will destroy yourself too!”

“Then so be it.” Killian then pressed a button on the side of the bomb to activate it.

The bomb began to rumble. As it did, the very fabric of reality appeared to shake. The bomb began to glow brighter and brighter.

Sonata’s eyes then went wide. She gathered Adagio and Aria into a huddle.

“What are you three doing?!” Rainbow Dash shouted.

“We have a plan!” Sonata replied. “But we will need your help!”

“What do you need us to do?!” Twilight asked.

“Keep Killian distracted. No matter what, don’t let him interrupt us!” Adagio replied.

“Interrupt you from what?!” Rarity asked.

“Singing!” Aria shouted. The Dazzlings then rose up into the air and began to sing their song “Find the magic.” As they did, their gems lit up.

The girls joined hands and focused all of their energy on hitting Killian with a strong rainbow blast. Killian tried to move, but he was pinned down by the rainbow blast and could not focus because of the high pitch from the Dazzlings singing.

As the glow from the bomb became brighter, the Dazzlings sang louder and their gems became brighter. The shaking and warping intensified until the anti-magic bomb finally exploded. When it did, beams of light shot forth from the Dazzlings gems into the heart of the blast. This caused the blast to be reversed, with the force pulling inwards instead of outwards.

Killian found himself trapped in the pull of the collapsed explosion. He was sucked in. Before he vanished, he shouted out five words. “THIS IS ONLY THE BEGINNING!”

There was another bright flash, and then Killian and the bomb were gone. The Dazzlings gently floated back down to the ground.

The Rainbooms and Timber all rushed up to the Dazzlings. “What just happened?” Twilight asked.

“We used the power of our gems to reverse the force of the blast, causing it to collapse in on itself.” Adagio said.

“And the three of you came up with that?” Rarity asked.

“Actually, it was all Sonata’s idea.” Aria said as she pointed to her sister.

“Really?!” The Rainbooms and Timber all said in unison.

“Yes.” Sonata replied with a smile. “I know that matter and antimatter cancel each other out, so I figured that the same principle would apply to magic and antimagic. It’s basic science. I mean, it’s not like I’m stupid.”

Everyone looked at Sonata with a wide eyed surprised look.

The Rainbooms, the Dazzlings, and Timber all embraced in a big hug. A yellow light then emerged from the sky. In the center was Sunset Shimmer in her Daydream form from the Friendship Games.

“Sunset, is that you?” Twilight asked.

Sunset nodded her head. “Yes, it is me. I wanted to thank you for saving the magic.”

“Does this mean you’re coming back?” Pinkie Pie asked.

Sunset frowned a little. “I’m sorry, but it does not work like that. My time on the mortal plain is over. I am now one with the magic.”

“But, you just can’t leave!” Fluttershy said as she began to cry.

Sunset smiled again. “Do not worry. As long as there is magic, I will always be with you. I will never leave your sides.”

“But what about what Killian said?” Rainbow Dash asked. “Is magic good or bad?”

“Magic is neither good nor bad. It is those who wield it that make magic a force for light or darkness. You all use it for good, and must continue to use it for good. Use the magic within you to help this world and all who live in it. And always keep love in your hearts.”

Sunset then waved goodbye and faded away. Everyone waved goodbye, with smiles on their faces and tears in their eyes.

Some time later, everyone gathered together for the funerals of Killian’s victims. Post Crush and Vignette Valencia had private funerals, while Wallflower Blush, Juniper Montage, Gloriosa Daisy, and Sunset Shimmer were all buried next to each other.

The Rainbooms and the Dazzlings were banged up from their fight with Killian, but they didn’t suffer anything serious thanks to their powers. Timber Spruce wore a neck brace and had his ribs taped up.

“I don’t know much about the afterlife, but you guys think that everyone is at peace?” Twilight asked.

“I like to think that my sister and the others are one with the magic along with Sunset, and that they are at peace.” Timber said with a smile.

Rainbow Dash turned to face the Dazzlings. “So now that you have your powers back and can sing properly again, does that mean you’re going back on tour?”

“Actually, we’ve been talking and have decided to go back to school.” Adagio said. “First high school, then college. But we will be holding some shows in between.”

“That sounds great! One should never let a great mind go to waste.” Twilight said.

Everyone then held hands as they looked at the graves of the fallen. For the first time in weeks, there was a sense of peace in the air.

Back at Camp Everfree, Killian’s mask and Dimension hopping crystal both lay in the grass. A shadowy figure then appeared, and picked them both up.
