The girls spent all night researching anyone who had abused Equestrian magic since the Fall Formal. Sunset and Twilight counted themselves, as well as Gloriosa Daisy, Kiwi Lollipop, Supernova Zapp, and Vignette Valencia.

“Right, that just leaves Juniper Montage, Wallflower Blush, and The Dazzlings.” Sunset said.

“We should split up into two groups and go to Juniper and Wallflower. They will be the easiest to find.” Twilight said.

They all agreed. Sunset, Twilight, and Pinkie Pie would go get Wallflower Blush. Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, and AppleJack would go get Juniper Montage.

Rarity, Fluttershy, AppleJack, and Rainbow Dash all headed over to the mall where Juniper worked at the movie theater. But when they arrived at the mall, the front door was covered with police tape.

The girls walked up to a police officer who was standing nearby. “Excuse me officer, but can you tell us why the mall is shut down?” AppleJack asked.

“There’s been a crime in the movie theater. That’s all I can say.” The police officer replied.

The girls feared the worst. Rarity decided to use her charm to get more information. “Officer? It would be so kind of you to at least let us know what type of awful crime has been committed.”

Rarity’s charm worked. “Okay, someone was murdered in the movie theater last night. But that’s all the information that I can give.”

Rarity, AppleJack, Rainbow Dash, and Fluttershy all looked at each other. The killer had already killed Juniper. Rainbow Dash took out her phone and texted Twilight.

Wallflower was busy tending to the flowers in the community garden at Canterlot park when she saw Twilight, Pinkie Pie, and Sunset running up to her. Wallflower rose to her feet.

“Hey guys, what are you doing here?” Wallflower asked. “And why do you look so worried?”

“We don’t have much time to explain.” Sunset said in a panicked voice. “You really need to come with us right now.”

Wallflower really began to worry. “What’s going on? You’re scaring me!”

Twilight’s phone then vibrated. She looked at it and read the text from Rainbow Dash that Juniper had been murdered.

Twilight grabbed Wallflower by the hand. “There’s no time! We have to get you out of here now!”

A bright flash then appeared before them. The next thing they saw was a figure wearing a red cloak and a metallic gas mask standing in front of them.

“Wallflower Blush.”

Twilight pushed Wallflower away from her. “Run!” She then shouted. Wallflower took off running with Twilight, Sunset, and Pinkie Pie right beside her.

“You are guilty.” The stranger then revealed what looked like a giant yoyo made of dark bladed circular saws. The stranger threw the weapon at Wallflower. In an instant, her head was cut clean off. The stranger tugged on the string and the weapon came back.

Twilight, Sunset, and Pinkie Pie all stood in silence. Their shocked faces were covered with the spray of blood that came from Wallflower’s neck when she was decapitated. Sunset looked down at Wallflower’s severed head. She then became filled with rage.

“You bastard!” Sunset shouted. She then charged at the stranger with a look of pure anger on her face.

“Sunset, no!” Twilight shouted in a vain attempt to get her friend to stop. A bright light then surrounded the stranger. Sunset collided with the stranger just as the light engulfed them both. The light then went out, and both the stranger and Sunset vanished.

Twilight turned to face Pinkie Pie. “Pinkie Pie, go catch up with the others and tell them what happened. I’ll stay here and call the police.”

“But what if you get arrested?” Pinkie Pie asked with a worried look on her face.

“That’s a risk I’m willing to take. Now go!” Twilight shouted. Pinkie Pie ran away and Twilight took out her phone to call the police. “Sunset, please be okay.” Twilight thought to herself.
