Tristen was out for a run, checking his Omnitrix, which displayed a timer instead of the usual hourglass symbol.

“Doing good, Tristen.” Cortana spoke through the Omnitrix. “Doing real good.”

Tristen smiled while wiping the sweat from his brow. But then suddenly, he stops and spots Sunset walk towards the school.

“Tristen?” Cortana asked as she materialized on the Omnitrix. “What are you-” Cortana stops herself as she spots Sunset. “Isn't that Sunset?”

Tristen furrowed an eyebrow as he saw Sunset enter the building.

“Guess Two was a good influence on you.”

Sunset, out of surprise, turned to see Tristen. “Tristen… you startled me.” Sunset said, clutching her chest as she called down. “How… How long have you been there?”

“Long enough.” Tristen replied as Sunset landed, her phoenix wings vanishing. “Looks like you've got your Equestrian magic too.”

Sunset shrugs her shoulders. “I guess so.”

Tristen leans against the glass dome above the library, smiling softly. “I take it that you've officially turned over a new leaf?”

Sunset nods her head in affirmation. “Yes.” Replied Sunset. “Thanks to you and Twilight, and the other girls, I've managed to find the true meaning of friendship.”

Tristen blushed a bit, looking away bashfully. “Eheh… wow, way to make a guy flustered.”

Sunset giggled in response, but quickly looks away with a look of guilt. Tristen took notice of her change in mood. “You alright?”

Sunset looks to Tristen with pure sincerity. “Tristen, I know I've said this plenty of times but… I'm absolutely sorry for what I've caused you the day you came here.” Sunset looked away while rubbing her arm. “I know that-”

She was cut off by Tristen placing a hand on her shoulder, making her look at him. “And as I've said before,” said Tristen, “You're forgiven.”

Sunset would have said something, but she couldn't think of anything to say. Sunset then wrapped her arms around him in a warm embrace, which Tristen returned wholeheartedly.

After a few moments, the two separated. “So, I've managed to come up with a logo for our dust.” Tristen reached into his coat pocket, pulling out a folded sheet of paper before I folding it to reveal the logo. It was the familiar sun symbol that was Sunset Shimmer’s cutie mark, but it had the Omnitrix symbol in the center of it and a pair of wings on the sides.

“I know it's not very creative-” Tristen said, but Sunset grabs the sheet and smiles.

“It's perfect.” Sunset said with a smile. “Never knew you were an artist.”

Tristen blushed even more at the result. “Now you're just buttering me up.” Tristen said in a playful manner.
