Adventure at Canterlot High
Final Omake: Does not compute
Previous ChapterIn a crummy old apartment, a man was typing furiously at the keyboard of a laptop, smiling deviously.
Then, with a click of a button, he puts his nefarious plot into motion.
At the CHS school library, Tristen was reading a book while a student was using the school computers to work on a project.
But suddenly, the student saw an animated picture of a skull with arms sticking out its tongue. And the same thing happened with all of the other computers as well, much to the shock of the students using them.
Even the librarian was shocked to see this occur on her own computer.
Tristen looks at the computers, surprised at seeing this display.
“Oh boy.” Tristen said in shock.
(Later)
Principal Celestia and Vice Principal Luna were at the computer lab, surprised that the whole school had been hacked. Tristen and the gang arrived at the scene.
“Looks like the computers in the computer lab have been hacked as well.” Applejack said in concern.
“But who would do such a thing?” Fluttershy asked.
One of the students was checking on the situation. He was a boy with light grayish violet, black eyes obscure behind black framed glasses, and dark grayish sapphire blue hair with a lighter sheen. He wore a yellow turtleneck sweater with green cuffs and a green collar, khaki jeans with white suspenders, and blue and white sneakers with yellow shoelaces.
“Oh boy.” The bespectacled boy said in concern. “Yeah, that's not good.”
“What's the assessment, Micro Chips?” Celestia asked.
Micro Chips turns to face the principal. “We're dealing with a file-infecting virus.” Micro Chips replied. “These things overwrite orninseet infected code into executable files. As the name implies, overwrite viruses overwrite file content to infect entire folders, files, and programs.”
Luna and Celestia were absolutely concerned by this intel.
Tristen looks at his Omnitrix, a determined look visible. “Maybe we can give the hijacker a taste of his own medicine.”
Tristen activates the Omnitrix, cycled through his playlist, and ultimately spots the alien he's looking for. Then with a tap of the screen, he commenced the transformation.
His body was enveloped in a mass of millions upon millions of turquoise colored squares that strongly resemble pixels. Once his body was completely enveloped, the pixels took on the form of a muscular humanoid, celeste circuitry lines appeared on his body, and a pair of aquamarine colored eyes formed on his head. And the finishing touch was the Omnitrix symbol appearing on his chest. Once the transformation was complete, he yelled out his new name:
“Deus-X-Machina!”
The newly named Deus-X-Machina hovered towards a computer, extended his right hand to the computer monitor, and began to concentrate. The circuit lines on his body began to glow as the computer monitors began to glitch while everyone watched on in surprise.
The hacker kept chuckling, but suddenly gasped as he saw his laptop monitor begin to glitch uncontrollably.
“What the…” The hacker asked as he typed at his keyboard, panicking. “Shit! This can't be happening!”
The crew watched Deus-X-Machine work his magic, the screens eventually reverting back to normal.
As the hacker tried to remedy the problem he was currently facing, his computer screen began to go black with red coding appearing. Then suddenly it began to spark with turquoise electricity before the keyboard emits smoke and flames.
The hacker’s eyes went completely wide. “No! NO!”
And it got worse as the authorities burst through the door behind him, their guns aiming at him.
Deus-X-Machina dusted his hands before changing back to Tristen.
“Done. And done.” Tristen declared with a smile.
Micro Chips checked the computer systems, and was surprised to see no trades of the virus. It was as if it never even appeared.
“What did you do?” Pinkie Pie asked with a furrowed eyebrow.
“Not only did I erase all traces of the virus, but I showed him what happens when you play with fire by sending him a multipartite virus.” Tristen answered with a proud smile. “Needless to say, he better hope he can afford a new computer.”
The others were surprised by what he had heard.
“A multi-what now?” Rainbow asked.
“It's considered to be one of the most dangerous and destructive computer viruses, and can be difficult to detect and remove.” Micro Chips elaborated. “It combines traits of different malicious software types and can infiltrates a system through various attack route.”
Tristen shrugged with a smirk. “You know what they say. You mess with fire, you get burnt. And by fire, I mean made his computer overheat to the point of interoperability.”
The others were even more stunned now.
“You… you did all of that? Without even touching the keyboard?” Rarity asked in shock.
“As well as contacting the authorities.” Tristen said, further fueling the shock of everyone else. “Why else do you think he's called Deus-X-Machina?”
The Omnitrix displayed the image of Deus-X-Machina, who had winked while breaking the fourth wall.
