No one could just find the Midnight Escape. It was a refuge for those left adrift. Not just among the cacophonous sensations of Manehattan, but also those drifting through life itself.
Drifting mares in Manehattan always seemed to find their way to the Midnight Escape. For whatever reason they may have, the siren song of the club always managed to lure them in for a night spent drinking, chatting, and loving. No mare left the Midnight Escape alone. They often left in the passionate embrace of another patron, but for one lucky mare each night, they were invited to join the club owner in her bed.
Hypnotic Dreams, a beautiful unicorn mare with a blue coat and golden mane, was the siren responsible for the Midnight Escape. Her letters, sealed with black lipstick, were the invitation required to even enter the Midnight Escape, not that it was ever a problem coming into possession of such a letter. Any mare who found the club already had a letter, even if she didn’t know it at the time. Hypnotic was also easily recognizable, sitting behind the bar counter set by the back wall, her eyes glowing a faint green behind a pair of opaque black sunglasses. She always wore some kind of appealing, hyperfeminine attire. Some nights it was a short, tight dress, others it was a flattering skirt suit. On lingerie night she wore a gown made of wispy black lace with a set of nylon stockings and every costume night promised the sight of the owner in some revealing fantasy outfit.
Tonight, Celestia found herself wandering the streets of Manehattan. The Princess was lost in a sea of indecision as she walked, disguised, through the busy streets of Equestria’s largest city. She hadn’t been Princess of Equestria for several years now and she had been content with her quiet life in retirement, at least until Luna had dropped by, regaling her sister with tales of how she had spent her own time since stepping down. Luna had been overtaken with wanderlust, traveling the known world and doing all manner of… uncouth things. From hunting whales on the other side of the world to touring Equestria with a ‘heavy metal’ band and… partaking in the pleasures of her fellow musicians. It all sounded rather exciting to Celestia, even if she was content with her quiet life in the countryside, but she had little idea as to how to go about such a hedonistic lifestyle. She came to Manehattan largely out of a lack of ideas, and hoping to stumble into something just for the night, to have her taste of the hedonistic life. So far, it seemed rather disappointing. Nothing seemed appealing to her. Alcohol was cheap and there were rude creatures aplenty around her. Something about the city seemed to make people rude. Celestia herself had to suppress the urge to forcefully shove an oblivious pony standing still in the middle of the sidewalk out of the way.
She didn’t notice at first that the noises of the crowds had died away. The blaring of automobile horns and the shouting of people no longer assaulted her ears. Peaceful quiet surrounded her on the sidestreet she found herself on. A single neon sign could be seen above a modest looking entryway. Written in blue and golden yellow light, the name of the establishment promised Celestia refuge from the rest of Manehattan. The Midnight Escape, Mares Only Club.
The entryway was a single metal door with a view slit, hardly the exterior of an establishment suited to Celestia's tastes, but she still felt drawn to knock. Tonight was about finding something, right? Her hoof rapped twice at the door and the view slit snapped open. A pair of eyes, framed with mascara and eyeshadow, looked back at Celestia,
"Invitation?" The mare on the other side asked.
"Oh, um, I wasn't aware I needed one. I'm sorry for bothering you." Celestia hung her head low, a little embarrassed at the situation. Of course, a place this out of the way was invite-only.
"Miss, is that it at your hooves?" The doormare asked. Celestia's eyebrow shot up. When had… She looked down at her hooves, where a letter lay on the ground. It was a deep red, with the letters printed in gold.

Celestia's eyes widened as she picked up the letter. She turned it over. The letter was sealed not with wax, but with a kiss mark, the stain of black lipstick pressed onto the envelope. She slowly opened the letter, an odd sense of remorse coming to her as she broke the seal.
'Your Majesty,
If you are receiving this invitation, I can only assume that you have been left with something of a void since you left the throne. Perhaps you miss high society, or the frequent danger. Perhaps you are left a little jealous of your sister's escapades and desire a night of your own. Well, come to my club, the Midnight Escape, in Manehattan. Celestia read the invitation over several times, her suspicions mounting over how Hypnotic had learned so much about her. Then she stopped and groaned. She knew of this mare. Hypnotic Dreams was, among many things, the manager and booking agent for the band Luna toured with. Of course, Luna had told her bandmates that she thought her sister wasn't getting enough out of retirement. Still, an odd way of receiving a letter, right in front of the establishment it came from.
"I suppose it is." Celestia nodded, surprised that the door opened as soon as the words left her mouth. A song flowed from the open door, sung by a beautiful voice. The air smelled of lavender and sage, and the lighting was tantalizingly dim. As Celestia set a hoof in the club, her disguise vanished, revealing her angelic true form. Her eyes went wide again, before the doormare, revealed to be a pretty green pegasus, explained.
"The club is enchanted to show one's true self, your Highness. There are no secrets between marefriends." The doormare smiled. "A few regulars didn't even realize they were mares until they stepped through that door.”
Celestia nodded slowly, though the entire building being layered with such an enchantment was slightly concerning, it spoke to the magical ability of the owner. The interior was simple but refined in taste. A few dozen small, round tables were arranged around a marble dance floor, playing host to many a mare; sharing drinks, dances, and passion if they felt they could be discreet. In one corner, a wooden stage was lit up with spotlights, where a pair of attractive mares performed, one playing a modest piano, the other being the singer responsible for the sweet song that filled the club. They were dressed the part as well, in sequin dresses that shimmered with the spotlights. Against the far wall of the bar, a long counter lined with stools, behind which were hundreds of bottles of fine liquor, and the first mare to truly catch Celestia’s eye.
Her eyes were what really drew Celestia in. Ethereal rings of softly glowing emerald light shone through her dark glasses. She was dressed to arouse, clad in a black velvet bodysuit that hugged her body but left her flanks exposed, the supple curves themselves were wrapped in fishnet tights. The mare’s cutie mark was what finally snapped Celestia into focus, however. A golden pocketwatch, its chain laid out in a spiral around it. Celestia didn’t just know of this mare… She knew Hypnotic Dreams, though she had been largely made to forget.
One of the many schemes to come out of Ponyville, Hypnotic Dreams had attempted to subvert the rule of Equestria by binding Celestia’s mind. Celestia had no memory of the event, the nature of Hypnotic’s control kept her from remembering, but later investigation cleared Hypnotic herself of any real wrongdoing. She harbored fantasies of the Royal Sisters, but it was the corruption of an old spellbook, not any unique darkness in her heart, that caused her to attempt what she did.
And now Celestia was here, in a bar owned by the hypnotist herself, seemingly called here by the mare.
For a moment, Celestia just stood there, thoughts racing through her head as to how she should proceed. She had to approach the bar, for certain. It was in poor manners to enter such an establishment and not partake, but from there? Celestia felt her hooves move towards the bar, assured that she would come to a decision by the time she spoke to Hypnotic. A faint smile curled her lips. Yes, she did make her decision.
Hypnotic gave a warm smile to the Princess as she came over to the bar, already fishing out a glass.
“Good evening, your Highness. I’m honored you’d pay my humble little club here a visit. Is there anything I could get you? Something to wash away an uneventful night?” Hypnotic gestured to the lines of bottles behind her. “I carry a little of everything.”
“Actually, I was thinking of something a little more exciting than just a drink.” Celestia let her eyes noticeably wander over Hypnotic’s body, lingering on her flanks long enough to be obvious. “I… understand you’ve held fantasies about me.”
Like that, the cool confidence in Hypnotic’s demeanor vanished, replaced by a mixture of embarrassment and horror.
“P-princess, if this is about the time I~” Hypnotic stuttered, lowering the glass and holding her hooves up on the bar with a pleading expression. “I never meant anything by it, I swear.”
Celestia suppressed a giggle at the sudden change. For all of Hypnotic’s confidence, a simple reminder of her past actions was all it took to completely derail her.
“Well, it’s partly about that day, but I do not wish to punish you for it. Rather, I know it comes from having fantasies about myself and my sister.”

"Not just a slave." Celestia leaned in close to Hypnotic, whispering hotly in the mare's ear. "Use me for pleasure, make me your mindless fucktoy."
Celestia pulled back, relishing how Hypnotic's legs nearly gave out beneath her. With words alone, Celestia had reduced the charming, confident seductress to a stammering schoolfilly. She was almost worried that she overdid the flirtation.
Hypnotic steadied herself, trying to regain even an ounce of composure. Her horn illuminated, a bottle of moonshine pouring into a shot glass as they flew over. Hypnos downed the shot in a single gulp.
"I need to finish out my time tending to my girls here, stick around for an hour, your Highness. Have a drink, dance, enjoy the music, and then I'll drain your will right out of your gorgeous head." Hypnotic promised with a seductive smirk. It was an admirable attempt at regaining herself. Celestia could tell she was still screaming in her head.
Celestia was honestly surprised. She was actually having fun interacting with others in the club. Bars tended to be loud, obnoxious establishments to her, the clientele screaming over hoofball teams or sloppy attempts at flirting. But here? Celestia laughed along with jokes, traded stories, and twirled on the dance floor to the lounge singer's serenade. She enjoyed the company of the other patrons, as they treated her not as the semi-divine royal that she was, but as a regular friend. She took an interest in them as people and they took interest in her.
Doctored Alias was an off-duty detective in the Manehattan Police Department, in the middle of a fight with her partner after a particularly stressful investigation. She had been to the Escape before and wanted a night to enjoy herself. Alias had received her invitation during a previous case. It had been entered into evidence during a drug bust while she was on cataloging duty, and she had had to take pains to get it released so she could actually come to the bar the first time.
Shimmerfall was a model, just released from her contract in favor of some up-and-coming new diva. She had found the letter from Hypnotic when she walked into her apartment earlier today. She hung onto another mare, the muscular Thunder Rush, like a life raft, nursing a martini and trying not to cry as the mares around her assured her that she was still gorgeous.
Thunder Rush was a dockworker, a rough blue-collar mare if there ever was one, who had just broken off a long-term relationship, and only found her invitation after finding the club, much like Celestia. Her last paramour had been a stallion, but she was more than willing to try the fairer sex, and the way she was looking at Shimmerfall gave everypony an idea of who she'd ask to go home with her.
Dulcet Swan, the lounge singer, had even joined them between songs. She found her invitation on the way out of a Broadway audition that she knew she had bombed, back when her name had been Harmonic Chords. Of course, she knew she'd have to change her name when she walked through the door that first time. Celestia smiled at her adorable blush when she explained that Hypnotic had invited her to bed that night and after a few weeks of regular attendance had offered her a regular gig.
Alias was in the middle of a story from her police work that already had the group in stitches, involving a fellow detective chasing after a flirtatious catburglar, when Hypnotic walked onto the stage, tenderly kissing Dulcet before taking the microphone. Alias quickly promised to finish her story later as Hypnotic spoke.
"Well girls, I'm afraid it's time for me to retire for the evening. For our new fillies, the bar isn't closing, I’ll just be taking my choice of the pack and be off, if she'll allow me of course." Hypnotic smiled in Celestia's direction. "And I think you all can guess who it is tonight. I hope none of you will be mad, I simply have to take this once in a lifetime opportunity. Goodnight loves."
Hypnotic walked over to Celestia’s group, holding her hoof out to the Princess.
“Your Highness?”
Celestia took Hypnotic’s hoof in her own, nodding quickly. She could hear Alias as Hypnotic led her away.
“Damn… I was hoping she’d go home with me tonight.”
“Maybe tomorrow, Alias.” Celestia winked back at the detective before she and Hypnotic rounded a corner.
“So, your Highness, besides when… well… the last time, have you ever been hypnotized?” Hypnotic asked. Celestia shook her head.
“I cannot say that I have. I have read a great deal of hypnosis erotica however, I believe I understand the basics.”
Hypnotic suppressed a snort, not wanting to offend the Princess while she still had a mind to take offense.

“I’m a special case, your Highness, and even then I prefer proper induction when I’m not in a fit of megalomania.” Hypnotic led Celestia to a door, marked with the hypnotist’s cutie mark. Opening the door, Celestia was presented with a boudoir awash in lilac and gold. A large canopy bed set against the far wall and a half dozen wardrobes were arranged around the other walls. A pair of maids, in eye-catching uniforms, were dutifully dusting every exposed surface, a pale yellow unicorn with a green mane and a lilac pegasus, nearly the same color as the walls, with a straw colored mane.
“Summer, Lavender, please leave us. The room will not require cleaning tonight.” Hypnotic commanded. The two maids instantly snapped to attention upon hearing Hypnotic’s voice.
“Yes, Mistress Hypnotic.” They said in unison, bowing before making their way out. Celestia looked from the two maids to Hypnotic, a knowing eyebrow raised.
“They’re paid. They agreed to be hypnotized during their shift. Helps pass the time for them and it’s very arousing for everypony involved.” Hypnotic smiled, before gesturing to the bed. “Now, your Highness, why don’t you get comfortable, and we can begin.”
“If you insist.” Celestia sauntered over to the bed, swishing her flanks coquettishly in front of Hypnotic as she did. She nestled herself atop the blanket, stretching out across the soft, plush fabric. Her wings folded in as she lay on her back, her head settled down onto the pillow. Celestia closed her eyes and sighed, content.
Hypnotic took a deep breath. This was really happening. She was going to put Celestia under. She was going to use the Princess for her own pleasure. She could taste something vaguely sour, like a tart grape, or blackcurrant maybe, from the hypnotist’s lipstick. After a few moments, Hypnotic slowly withdrew from the kiss, her horn glowing. A half dozen ethereal hooves began massaging Celestia’s body, eliciting a soft moan from the alicorn.
“Let yourself relax, your Highness. You carry such stress, wouldn’t it be nice to let it all go?” Hypnotic’s voice was gentle. The magical massage began to focus on Celestia’s shoulders and neck, working out knots. “Let my hooves take it all away, working out all that nasty stress. As my hooves descend, you can feel all your stress falling away, disappearing with each firm caress down your body.”
Celestia let out a breath she didn’t realize she had been holding as the massage worked its way down. Around her wings, down her back, working her flanks, caressing her legs. Celestia’s eyes drifted closed, her body going limp under Hypnotic. Hypnotic’s breath became ragged from lust, before she once again steadied herself. No, this was a light trance. She still had work to do.
“Celestia, can you hear me?”
“Yes…” Celestia’s reply was distant.
“Do you still have thoughts, Celestia?”
“Yes…”

Celestia’s eyes snapped open, greeted by the glint of Hypnotic’s pocketwatch. The watch began to slowly swing back and forth. “I want you to follow the watch with your eyes, Celestia. Let your eyes follow the watch as it swings back and forth, back and forth. Each swing takes away some of those nasty thoughts, takes away some of that nasty stress. Back and forth, back and forth.”
Celestia’s eyes were locked onto the pocketwatch, following the golden circle as it gently swung back and forth.
“Swinging away all those thoughts, leaving nothing remaining except my words. Only my words are left in your head. Each swing takes away your thoughts, letting my words remain.” Hypnotic dispelled the watch, lifting her hoof to Celestia’s eyes. “When my hoof touches you, you will drop a thousand times deeper into trance, leaving nothing but my words in your mind.”
Hypnotic gently tapped Celestia on the snout, the Princess dropping back down into the pillows.
“Celestia, can you still hear me?”
“Yes…”
“Yes, Mistress.” Hypnotic corrected, pressing her thighs together to control the rush of arousal.
“Yes, Mistress…” Celestia dutifully repeated.
“Do you still have thoughts, Celestia?”
A moment of hesitation, Hypnotic’s eyes narrowed.
“Y-yes, Mistress…”
Hypnotic was disappointed, but not surprised. Celestia was effectively a living goddess, of course, she’d be loath to completely let go, even when consenting. But still, what she asked for, and what Hypnotic wanted, required her to be completely mindless. Hypnotic removed her glasses.

Again, Celestia’s eyes snapped open upon command, this time greeted by an intense green glow. Hypnotic’s eyes seemed to suck her in, filling Celestia’s entire world.
“Celestia, I want you to relax.” Hypnotic forced the word, her voice taking on a sharpness that wasn’t there before. Magic seemed to flow into her voice, into her eyes, forcing her words directly into Celestia’s mind. “Let your mind go completely blank. Completely empty.”
Celestia was trapped within Hypnotic’s gaze, her mind wiped clean. She couldn’t notice anything beyond the glowing green magic coming from Hypnotic’s eyes. She couldn’t notice the pair of batlike wings erupting forth from Hypnotic’s back, the spiraling horns growing from her temples, or the pointed teeth sprouting from her jaw.
“Blank, empty, obedient.” Hypnotic leaned in closer, her eyes filling Celestia’s gaze, her lips almost brushing against Celestia’s. “Now, I want you to close your eyes again, Celestia, but you will remain this blank, empty, and obedient. Completely mindless and ready to accept whatever I tell you, completely and totally. Do you understand?”
“Yes, Mistress…” Celestia’s eyes were still held in place by Hypnotic’s, her voice barely above a whisper.
“Good girl. Now, drop.” Hypnotic replaced her glasses on herself as Celestia’s eyes closed. If that didn’t work, nothing would. “Now, do you have any thoughts, Celestia?”
The answer came immediately this time.
“No, Mistress…”

“Yes, Mistress.” Celestia said, sluggishly pulling herself up and heading over to the nightstand as instructed. Hypnotic watched hungrily from the bed, staring at Celestia’s posterior as she walked through the room.
Celestia returned shortly, a bottle of cherry tinted liquid and a large purple silicon toy, with a dangling belt of leather straps, held aloft in her golden magical grip.

A hoof gently lifted Celestia’s face, her eyes quickly drawn into the green glow. It pulled her in deep. Deeper and deeper.
“Sleep, my slave. Sleep and when you wake, this will all seem like a dream until I call upon you again.”
Celestia groaned as she turned over. The sheets pulled taut on top of her, before an involuntary flex of her wings threw them off. She sat up, groggily looking around. She was in her room, on her bed. Celestia rubbed her eyes as she yawned.
That was an incredible dream she had. Maybe Luna decided to taunt her with a taste of debauchery. She plucked a grape from a bowl of fruit on her nightstand, popping it in her mouth without looking. It was tart, almost like a cherry. Celestia's mind softened, the taste wrapping itself around her mind and sending a rush of warmth to her nethers. She looked more closely at the bowl of fruit.
