Prologue:

"See ya later Ben" My friend said as he quickly turned and ran to his family's car.

I glanced at my friend Aris quickly saying "Yea see you later to dude."

My friend then started running to his parents' car, my distraction gone I  looked down at my Ipod and started playing a soundtrack that consisted of brony electronics and dub step. Right now football practice just ended and I had to wait about 1 hour for my mom or dad to get here, of course I usually leave in about 15 minutes from practice but from the combination of my practice ending early and of course me telling my mother to just get me at 6:00 pm. The clock on my Ipod said it  was 4:45 pm the practice usually ends at 5:15 pm more or less but today they ended it early because of the game tomorrow. I was faking a leg injury to pretty much be part of club med which of course was nothing but water boys for the actual players. My plan was to have my headphones on under my hoodie and pretty much listen to my music the whole game while of course supplying waters to the others who of course were right out there playing there hearts out.

My reasoning with having my mother come at 6:00 is that simply it gives me time to go walking on the trails behind school which is what I rarely do, but when I can I get the option I take it and then some. The trail itself was just that a trail cleared by a lawnmower considering that there was still foliage sticking out of the sides that was simply there to allow the walker to feel like it was a nature safari. What it really did was just annoy the hell out of people with OCD. There was plastic bottles strewn about like it was a New Years Eve party including the empty beer cans and broken glass. Now there is small reasoning for these walks I take for one they help me think through my day and it's problems but what I tell people when they ask is that I use it to lose pounds, they would simply just look down to my stomach and just say "Good Luck." It probably would be the best if I did try to lose the extra baggage. (Which was about 30-50 pounds give or take.)

. So without a second thought I picked up my violin case and straightened out my coat and started walking in the general direction of the trail, my feet making small sounds on the ground as I walk by the coach's car and start walking into the school's trail that was dense with foliage that obviously not cared for much at all. As I started out on the path I could see the wonders of the forest along with other things that was littered about on the ground for example that big pile of trash that seemed to be filled with god knows what, but at the top there was one thing that was just...there it wasn't dirty at all, in fact it looked like it had been cleaned recently. Now I looked at the thing again and i could feel a slight pull towards it as in it seemed familiar to me but my mind couldn't place it, with my curiosity burning I moved towards the pile slowly as not to disturb the scene before me when I was close enough I quickly swiped it and turned to look at the front and what I saw brought a small smile to my face but before i jumped to conclusions i had to do one thing.

"Hey whoever is out there this isn't funny, come out now."

Not a single thing in the woods moved as I brought my eyes back to it. A Smartypants Doll, so innocent yet so creepy. A toy equine, made of brown cloth and button eyes, with added white spotted blue pants, right now   held in my left hand. My other hand was busy holding my violin case. The doll in my hand was looking at me with it's buttoned eyes, one visibly drooping. It seemed to peer into a vast empty space.

I fucking hate dolls,' I thought. They always creeped me out, teddy bears too, there eyes seemingly innocent, only to look evil and imposing if really given a thought. The Smartypants Doll gave me a headache as I looked at it, a feeling akin to a bug, burrowing into my mind and tickling the back of my brain. A light ringing sound vibrated through the cool forest air. I can only guess where the origin was from as I looked to and fro, searching for the vile sound. The ringing only seemed to get louder as my thoughts raced to find out why a Smartypants Doll was in the woods, randomly placed in the middle of nowhere, looking exactly as it did in the show there even seemed to be a light layer of animation, only more textured and of course dirty. My teeth were chattering, both from the irritating noise and the cold that I was feeling through my military-grade sage trench coat and backpack. My eyes seemed to droop and a feeling of exhaustion assaulted my body as the doll fell from my grip. Other parts of my body were losing there tension as I felt my knees buckle and hit the ground.Confusion wracked my senses as I dropped my violin case, a dark shroud fell over my mind, as I only saw the the blurring image of green trees ahead of me and a hint of colorful foliage. Finally, I fell back, crushing any fragile items in my backpack. I was now able to see the bright blue sky that seemed to be sparkle with the colors of the rainbow.

Wait colors of the rainbow? ' Why would there be a rainbow...'  My last thoughts flowed away, before I drifted off to a gentle sleep. One that strangely was encompassed by a strange voice that I knew but couldn't place if anything it sounded like a story being told or if anything a lecture, but I couldn't help it, the sand man had his work cut out for him as I hit the ground unconscious.
