PonyVille Bar
August 15th, 3:00 P.M.

The PonyVille Bar was in one of its rushes again, many ponies in the bar at once. Most ponies were gambling, on the dance floor, or passed out on the ground, one pony wasn’t with the rest…

“Waiter! More Vodka here!” The bartender took a glass, drained the beverage out of the barrel, and slid the cup across the table to meet the customer.

Solar Breeze was standing alone and in silence with only hearing the billiard balls in the pool table’s being hit, and a few ponies vomiting. No one noticed him since his dark red mane and dull orange coat made him blend into the warm bar lights.

No one really talks to him since he can get into fights easily and everyone puts a “don't talk about relationships around him” name around him since he is still trying to recover from his wife leaving him and taking the kids as well.

He chugged the bottle full of that bitter Vodka and after putting it down his stomach told him that he either will stop the drinking today or be on the floor vomiting everything out again.

“Waiter! Check here.” As the paper slip slid across the table Solar saw something coming up to him in his peripheral vision.

Someone coming to me? Probably another drunk…

“He-heeeyyyyy maaaaannnn! What ar- *hic* you doing here alone?” The stallion sat in the stool next to him and tried not to pass out from going up too fast. During that Solar was getting his money ready to pay since he knew that drunks were the most annoying things to deal with.

“Don’t you have anyone to be here with? Maybe siblings or lover-”

“Shut it!” Solar snapped back and slammed his hoof on the table hearing the glass jump and hit the table again.

“Jeeeezzzz! Angry much? No wonder she left yo- HUAAAGH!” He couldn't finish talking as Solar pounced on him and tackled him down and started beating him up. The dude's friends started to attack Solar in return, one thing led to another and now Solar has a bloody nose, a broken rib, broken leg, and now he is chasing the man who talked to him while his friends chased after Solar.

In the middle of the chase, Solar was slammed from the side and he hit the trash can in the alleyway with his spine. He knew he damaged something when he heard a pop as he collapsed and lost the ability to move his legs and his vision turned black.

The stallion and his friends noticed him and quickly ran away…..

Drunks…..Gooooooood Damn it!....

Solar felt his mind come back, he heard beeps, he felt a soft mattress below him, and his eyes soon followed and they opened slowly. He looked around trying to not look at the bright sun in the window.

Why am I in the hospital- oh….right…. He then used his pained neck to move his head a little and look at the door while hearing somepony come closer to his room.

A white pony with a pink mane and a little nurse hat came in and closed the door while looking at the clipboard that she was holding before looking up and seeing the awake stallion.

She did not react, she wasn't happy he was awake, not surprised, nothing, just a neutral face as she got something from the cabinet.

“Hmm..awake I see… well this will make things a lot easier.” He didn’t know why…but her voice made him free of worry, maybe that was her trait as being a nurse. She walked up to him with a stethoscope and an IV which she attached to the cord. Solar relaxed when the warm water went into his bloodstream. The nurse took the clipboard and got a pencil before looking at him.

“Alright. Hello there, I'm Nurse Redheart, I will be taking care of you today. You were sent in pretty bad shape, can you explain how you ended up like this?” Redheart said as she started to check Solar’s heartbeat and breathing.

“Uhhh…..” Was all that Solar could get out as he was never really in a hospital setting.

“Ah, silly me… Let's start on an easier note.” Redheart responded as she started writing on the clipboard paper.

“....S-Solar Breeze…. And what do you mean ‘in bad shape?’” He felt a pain in his leg, reminding him of that night, he knew he was lying.

She wrote down all that he said before taking off her stethoscope and giving him a raised eyebrow.

“Don’t try it with me Solar… You broke your leg, your rib, you bursted a nose blood vessel, and you damaged your spine! Thank Celestia you didn’t damage any nerves there! What did you do to get like this? Ponies don’t look like they survived prison every day you know?”

“*sighhhhh…* Gang fight, then chasing.”

“What? Why would you-”

“I didn’t start it, some JACKASS decided to get on my nerves so I had to teach him a lesson!”

“T-That doesn’t give you the right to attack somebody! What did he tell you to make you attack???”

Solar only crossed his arms and looked away. “Don’t want to talk about it..” At the side of his eye he saw her pause before slowly writing more stuff down.

Even though she was still mad about him, she still wanted to have good impressions.

“Look, I think we just got on the wrong foot. We should wait for your anger to pass and we can continue the diagnosis.” She said as she wrote down more on the paper then looked at him with a clean smile.

“Do you want anything? Water, food?”

“I-I'll just have water ... .Oh I think I’m feeling sober from the Vodka…”

“What? Vodka!? That is some of the most powerful beverages in Equestria! No wonder you were angry and got into a fight!” She said nothing else as she walked out of the room and closed the door to get the water.

Gooooooooood Damn It!......
