Chapter 1
It started out like any other Monday morning I wake up, eat breakfast, and head into town. I had done this routine so many times before I almost did it in my sleep. I'm a averaged sized pegasus mare with a navy blue coat and red and black mane and tail. As I was walking out the door a grey pegasus With purple and black hair, which was my sister Shadow Storm, came galloping down the street to meet me.
"Oh, good you're awake we need to leave now!" was all she could blurt out before running inside. I stood there for a moment then decided to follower her back into the house.
"Whats going on did the Ursa Minor come back to town or did dis..." she cuts me off by throwing my saddle bags at me. They hit me and fall to the floor while i stand there wondering what the has gotten into her. "What are these for?" at the sound of my question she stops packing and trots over to me.
"Celestia is hunting down all NLR Supporters. Now pack your bags and lets go", standing almost nose to nose every word she said went straight into my ears. After a short pause she goes back to her frenzied packing.
"What should I bring, how long are we going to be gone", as I pick up my bag I realize that Shadow had left the room to go to her room, so I followed her. Like usual her room was a complete mess with clothes, pillows, blankets, and most of her belongings. "How can you find anything in this mess?" I asked her and she responded with her famous death stare.
"It's not a mess, it's organized chaos", she always responds the same way to this question. Instead of asking her what to pack I just go to my room to grab my camping kit, then to the kitchen to get food and water.
"Alright, Shadow i'm ready", I put my bags by the door then head up to her room to see if she needs help packing. As I open the door somepony puts a hoof on my shoulder, I whip around and almost knock the mysterious pony's head off. "Shadow, what the hay was that! You tell me royal guards are after us then You sneak up behind me!"
"Sorry, thought you were somepony else", something must be up if she is worried about ponies in our house. "Hey, let's get out of here. I have a plan, but we need to leave now for it to work", when she makes a plan it's either made up on the spot and full of holes I have to fill in, or it's thought out and leaves little room for deviation.
"Okay, so explain to me what going on?" as we're walking out the door I remember it's only seven in the morning. Shadow and I have never been up at the same time. She always wakes up two or three hours after me, then spends an hour and a half in her room reading comics and the occasional Daring Doo book.
"Celestia has had enough of the New Lunar Republic and wants to put an end to it. So now the guards are rounding up all supporters of the NLR. Of course you and I being supporters and being so close to Twilight and her friends, they're going to be after us first", she was right, with the bearers of the elements being in Ponyville, it is only logical that Celestia will start here to rid Equestria of the NLR.
"So whats this plan of yours, please tell me you thou...", I stop dead in my tracks when I see two unicorn guards with our pictures on wanted posters. "Shadow, stop there's guards up ahead with our pictures on posters."
"Buck! Do you think Berry Green gave us up?" Shadow had a point Berry Green and I hung out in the market since she was one of the few NLR supporters in Ponyville. She was also very weak when it came to keeping secrets, even though she and Pinkie Pie are always talking in the market.
"It's not out of the question, but it could also have been Rainbow Dash, being the element of loyalty and knowing the we're with the NLR" my solution was more logical because Berry Green was not very open about being with the NLR.
"Well that throws a wrench in my plan. Hey, lets head for that ally over there it looks like it leads to the everfree forest." great the everfree forest that place gives me the creeps. Well that's one of Shadow's on the spot plans guess I should start thinking how to fix this.
"Really, the everfree forest. We can't just find a way around?" I don't know why i'm even trying to argue this point she's not going to change her mind.
"we're going to have to go there anyway, those guards are just the tip of the ice berg, now let's go before they see us. They know we're here and are not going to stop until Celestia has us locked up or worse", when she's right she's right and unfortunately she's right.
"Hey, you two over there stop now!" of course they find us. The two guards where headed right for us.
"Any bright ideas now, Shadow? Shadow?" she had disappeared leaving me all alone to face the solar guards. I backed to the line of buildings to my left. Right as i reached the buildings the guards were almost with in reaching distance. When out of nowhere i see to hind hooves come out of an ally in front of me. One of the two guards is knocked out cold while the other one just stood there in awe. Then I see Shadow Storm come barreling out of the sky and take down the last remaining guard.
"Sup Lightning Storm. Hi Shadow Storm. Good thing I saw you and those guards, things could have gotten bad quick", Static Bolt who was a pegasus with a sky blue coat and a storm grey mane stood in front of us with a huge smile across her face.
"Where the hay did you come from?", while I was thinking the same think I kept my mouth shut, but Shadow did not giving Static Bolt a look of disbelief.
"I saw you two walking down the street and after getting the news about Celestia i knew what you two where doing. While walking towards you I saw the gourds and ducked into the ally and, well, you know how that turned out", Static Bolt said in an unfazed tone.
"Right, we should get going you are welcome to join us if you like", the first words I said since I first saw Static's hooves fly out of the ally.
"Sure, where are you going?", Static always speaks as if nothing has happened.
"The everfree forest, since most ponies won't go near that place." of course there are reasons that ponies do not go into the everfree forest and most of them are probably made up, but we still believe them.
"Hm, I guess I don't have much of a choice let's go." so we set off to the everfree forest, we walked for hours trying to find a hidden place to slip in and disappear.
"Well i guess this is it the beginning of the end for us. Here we start running." inspirational words for our journey I don't know wear we are going or who we will meet, I guess that's up to Luna now.
