One-Horse Town: A My Little Pony Story

Pinkie Pie opened the door to her house with a happy smile on her face. A pony in a black hooded cloak was waiting outside.

“Hi, stranger!” she greeted the strange pony on her doorstep.

“Hi, Pinkie Pie,” the strange pony lifted a letter in his hoof. “I have a letter here for you from a…” he squinted at the name written on the front of the letter. “Chorus.”

Pinkie jumped with excitement. “Chorus! I always love to hear from a good friend. You know, there’s nothing better than a good friend. I’ve had many good friends throughout my-”

“Can you just take the letter, Pinkie,” the strange pony insisted.

Pinkie smiled and grabbed the letter. She opened it and began to recite it aloud.

“Hi, Pinkie! I’m just writing to see how-” Pinkie paused. “Wait, have we met before? How did you know my name? You’re not the usual mailpony. And what’s with the spooky dark cloa-”

Pinkie was interrupted by a cloud of sparkling dust that erupted from the horn of the pony on her doorstep. Her eyes fluttered shut as her legs gave way, and she tumbled to the ground. The strange pony picked up Chorus’s letter between his teeth and set it on a table inside before dragging Pinkie Pie’s limp body away with him.
