During their expedition, the students accidentally entered a hidden chamber that unlocked an unknowing clip of history that dragged them into a war that would result in their world's survival or destruction...

Aether finally reached his destination, it turned out the Unknown Goddess Asmoday was attempting to prevent the Honkai from engulfing Teyvat. With Lumine and the Archons, Aether temporarily defeated the Honkai, saving Teyvat. However, Nahida sensed the Honkai were suddenly retreating from their universe as if they'd lost interest in destroying Teyvat. Alarmed by Honkai's unusual move, Aether dug up a terrifying story that involved an ancient super weapon that harnesses the ability to wipe out the existence of the entire Multiverse. One of the key components was already taken by the Honkai, they're headed towards a universe outside of their Multiverse which may contain the other part.
