The world is at war.

For over a century, the armies of Princess Celestia and Nightmare Moon have battled on land, in the air, and upon turbulent seas for dominion of Equus. Joining the fray is a young batpony named Emerald Seas, who enlists in Equestria's naval forces to become a submarine captain like his father before him, and do his part to help win the war for the forces of harmony.

But the path to victory will not be an easy one: Emerald will have to battle prejudice and bigotry from ponies who see him as a secret ally to Nightmare Moon, and unforeseen events will force him to undertake a secret mission in the most advanced submarine Equestria has ever built.

Alone and isolated with an untested crew, Emerald must succeed against all odds on a mission that may allow Celestia's forces to land a decisive blow against Nightmare Moon. But if Emerald fails, the lunar tyrant's armies will spread across the globe, and her reign of terror will never end.
