The Pink Death

It was a jolly day in PonyVille today, with smiles everywhere with the fruit stands and restaurants giving off amazing smells.

One smile stood out from the rest…. The biggest smile in the town.

Twilight trotted in town, her smile big as her eyes were sparkling as she looked around.

“Wow! A lot has changed since I last played! Speaking of that….”

Twilight spotted the closet house next to her. Her eyes gleaned.

“Woopie!” She said as a pink beam launched from her hoof and when it hit the house, the home turned into a wax like structure, and it began malting into a big pink puddle, she then did it to another house next to her, causing the house to turn into blobby pink shapes that started to fly in the air randomly.

Everypony was shocked and in panic, so much so that they didn’t notice Twilight smiling the entire time.

Twilight then teleports away, going away from the chaos happening at the end of the town, she teleports a little out of town, she starts bouncing around like Pinkie before hearing something.

“Ey Twilight! Just the mare I wanted to see!” A voice said from above, Twi looked up to see Dash flying down from a cloud before landing on the ground.

“Hey Dash! What's going on?”

That was the thing about The Pink Death, it gained the memories of its host, and it was very smart, making quick and excellent calculations. This intelligence was the main reason the parasite lasted for centuries while other diseases fell over time

“Eh nothing too big, just wanted to see how you were doing since you spent a little longer in the museum than you said earlier…”

Twilight knew Dash would catch on if she didn’t do something soon… So she came up with an excuse instantly with their intelligence…

“It’s nothing, I’m doing great! I just got lost in my notes cause I was a little too interested in the arts there..”

“Ha! Wow, you seem in a good mood Twilight! You sound like you just came back from a party!”

“Hahahahaha! I’m just planning something BIG!”

“Well what is it?”

“That’s a secret!” Twilight said while nudging Dash’s shoulder. Dash laughed it off before flying away as Twi’s smile grew thinking of the fun to do.

The parasite looked through Twi’s memories and spotted a place that could use some fun. So she teleported away…

Twilight arrived at Sweet Apple Acres, trees stretched for miles, with the big red barn being in big contrast with the blue sky.

She walked up to the barn doors when somepony spotted her, Twi’s eyes sparkled with an idea for a pinch of fun being brought to this rusty place.

“Heya Twi! Whatcha’ doin’ here?” AppleJack said while swiping some sweat from her exhausted head after hours of working.

“I just came to see how you were doing! Has the work been good?”

“It’s been alright, working hard is a tough job with all these trees. Say, you seem hungry, want an apple?”

AJ took out a juicy and smooth apple and brought it up to her. Twi lifted it up with her magic, then looked at it with disgust, with a flash of her horn, the apple turned into a bright pink color before she ate it then.

As Twi ate the tender apple AJ looked in confusion, as if somepony had just disrespected her family name…because somepony kinda just did.

“T—Twilight…. What the fu-” She couldn’t finish before Twilight got up close and booped her nose with her hoof.

“Boop!” Twi said in a baby voice, AJ blushed in confusion and shock of how close she got to her face, she couldn’t react before her orange coat turned bright pink, she backed up and looked at herself in horror and embarrassment, her blush darkened as Twilight just bounced into the barn leaving AJ there.

“E-Ey HEY! TWILIGHT! GET BACK HERE!” The pink farm pony yelled while chasing after her into the red building.

Twilight pounced around and off the walls, every time she landed on the walls or floor the surface became a pink goo that started to float around like bubbles. The sounds of crashing and things breaking were heard through the whole house.

AppleBloom came running down the stairs in a panic.

“WHAT THE HAY IS GOING ON HERE-” The little filly said before noticing her bigger sister’s appearance. She couldn’t hold it back and started laughing very loudly as she fell on the ground. Meanwhile AJ looked back in anger at her little sister, as Twi was still bouncing around the house.

“Applebloom SHUT YOUR DAMN MOUTH! Twilight did this to me!” With that Applebloom started to get up with tears of joy still coming out of her eyes.

“Hahaha! W-Why would Twilight make you look like tha- HAHAHAHA!”

“See! Somepony is having fun here other than me!” Twi said before her horn glowed and everything changed…

The three ponies were now floating in a neon pink void, with blobs bigger than a whale, and stretching as far as the eye could see. AppleBloom stopped laughing as she tried to remain in balance while floating. It was like being in space but you could still do everything else.

“W-What the… Twilight, what is the meaning behind all of this!” AJ roared out with echoes going throughout the area. Twilight just started to float with her wings, only..upside down. She then started to fly around Aj and her sister in circles, like prey being circled by hunters.

AJ shielded her sister in protection, she wouldn’t let Twilight get near her….

“Why are you so angy all the time girl? I just want to spread some fun upon this sad world and add some things it needs! One thing being….this world needs more pink… but I’m sure you can understand? Don’t you just want to have fun non-stop and never get bored? Not having to do those chores, those jobs, or anything annoying again!”

AppleBloom’s eyes raised in thought.

“AppleJack..she does have a point..It would be fun to not do work all the time and party all day!”

“See? Your sister wants some fun…how about you let it into AJ?” Twilight stopped circling and floated above them while giggling loudly.

“Twilight. While I myself don’t like working all the time or doing chores, it’s what gets things done! If we always do fun there nothing will get do-”

“Ughhh…BOOOORRRRIINNGG!” Twilight cutoff AJ in response. “I see your one of them, you don't want fun, playtime, all you want is there to be a sad and miserable world. *Giggles* But don’t worry, I can change all your minds eventually…

Till the world sees the day,

Life will be nothing but gray.

So it’s my turn to show the fun,

Till the whole world can party and laugh like one!”

Twilight then booped her own nose..and it was all gone, they were back in the barn, the pink bubbles were gone, AJ’s coat was back to orange, and Twilight was gone and instead in her place was a pink balloon that floated in the air before hitting the ceiling…
