I am not sure what we are going to do now. According to North Star’s spider, Celestia has not let any useful information slip. Just the usual babble. I’ve gone through every entry and scroll and book in Nightmare Moon’s vault, and there is not even a hint of where the Elements of Harmony may be.

Gala and Comet are questioning what we would even do if we found them. I’m afraid I must agree. If they would not work for someone as powerful as Nightmare Moon, what chance do we have of using them?

My best idea was we free Celestia and let her find and use the Elements to best Nightmare Moon. Of course, my plan has many obvious flaws: Celestia’s mental state, where the Elements are, holding off Nightmare Moon and the guards… I’m afraid I agree with my friends when they say it’s an impossible mission.

We’re arguing among ourselves now, unsure of how to proceed. It’s making it difficult to write this. If we could just stop and—

Stardust Sprinkle was able to calm us down with some cupcakes. Perhaps something sweet to settle the nerves is in order. She always was good at cheering ponies up when they were down.

North Star says we’ll think of something. I agree, there must be some way out of this. I am thankful for her kind words, especially in this time of crisis.

Wait. I have an idea.

As I gaze upon my friends, all of us, I have an idea. Maybe I’ve been thinking too literally. I must get to the vault as soon as I can. I need to know more about these Elements beyond where they might be.

I may have a plan, even if it is more hope than guarantee…
