Rebecca and the Rainbooms

It has been a day since the Battle Of The Bands, and Rebecca had first met the Rainbooms there, due to her having a VIP pass, and today, she's inviting the rest of the band to the recording studio where she works.

"Man, I can't believe it's been yesterday since I met the Rainbooms, including Sunset Shimmer." Rebecca said. "I mean, last year she turned into a she-demon during the Fall Formal incident, now she's a kind young girl who has a beautiful voice similar to Princess Twilight & mine... it's like my heart is linked to those girls." She continued as she was about to get on the van and drive to Canterlot High School to meet them and take them to the recording studio.

Rebecca almost didn't realize this, but in a few hours that Princess Twilight & Spike are about to return to Equestria in a few hours. So, she decided to make the tour a little better, and a little quicker. A few moments later, she arrived to Canterlot High and met them.

"Hi, there." Greeted Rebecca.

"Hi, Rebecca!" Greeted the Rainbooms.

"So, you taking us to the recording studio where you work?" Princess Twilight said.

"Yup." Rebecca said as she was about to board the band to the recording studio.

"Ooooh! I can't wait!" Pinkie said in glee.

"It's gonna be awesome!!!!" Rainbow Dash said.

And so, they got on the van, and Rebecca drove the band to the recording studio where she used to work, and when they arrived there, the Rainbooms, including Princess Twilight & Sunset were amazed at the recording studio. The recording studio was called Ocean Blue Water Studios, which was a subsidiary of Canterlot Records in Canterlot City. The studio was know for recording bands, mixing and producing music, audio work, and voice acting for movies, cartoons, anime, and others. When Rebecca got to the recording and showed her boss, the boss looked confused.

The boss looked confused and said, "Rebecca? What the heck do you think you're doing?"

"Tracey, don't get too mad, right now." Rebecca said, trying to explain. "I met these 7 high school teenage girls and their dog yesterday over at the Canterlot City amphitheater, and well, they play like real live musicians, and that girl, with the blonde hair and red highlights, well she plays a rockin' guitar like a like a real professional and sings like a real professional, just like me when I was young. She continued.

"I don't care if they're high school celebrity drop-outs, they ain't gonna do it here!" Tracey said as the other workers laughed.

"High school drop-outs?" Applejack said. "We're not drop-outs, and we're still in high school." She continued.

"Ma'am..." Princess Twilight said.

"Girl, are you born in from an another dimension or born in an another world?" Tracey said.

"Yes, ma'am, I was born in Equestria, as a unicorn, and became an alicorn princess last year." Princess Twilight said.

"Me too. I too, was born in Equestria, as a unicorn." Sunset said.

"And I too am born a dragon in Equestria." Spike said.

"Did that dog just talk?" a worker said.

"Yup." Spike said.

"It's all true." Fluttershy said.

The workers and Tracey looked at each other and them, so she decides to do a little insult on them...

"Well let me help you out then, "alicorn princess" & "unicorn", this is a recording studio that does REAL music genres, rock n' roll, rap, K-pop, country music, etc... we don't play no magical music." Tracey said.

"Uh, yes, ma'am, I like those music genres, Rock N' Roll, Country, K-Pop, Hip-Hop, Techno, Alternative Rock, and other types of music." Sunset said.

"Well, go on. Tell me. What is it that you like about those music genres? asked Tracey.

"Well, I love the music, you know, it soothes the mind letting go of the bad memories, and learning how to live and cherishing the good memories of the precious person who cares for you in the past. You gotta learn that your bad past is not today, and your good past is part of your future." Sunset explained.

The people laughed sarcastically, but not Rebecca. But they decided to let them do a recording session, the first one was called "Shine Like Rainbows" which was the song written by Rainbow Dash herself. While the Rainbooms played their were prepping their instruments, with the recording crew doing the preparations for the music recordings and after setting up for the pre-recording, the Rainbooms their first recording in the recording studio, and while doing music and vocals, suddenly they started to pony up, again.

Realizing what happened, and amazed at their performance in the recording booth, Rebecca said to her boss: "Tracey, I think you're outvoted."

"Reb, one hint of trouble, and your Rainboom high school friends are out of here." Tracey said with a warning. "Dang... I'm gonna have just watch and enjoy doing my job, and give them some special effects." She said.

And after some recordings from their new song that the Rainbooms, did such as "My Past is Not Today" which was performed by Sunset and written by Rebecca, "Friendship Through the Ages", which was performed and written by the Rainbooms, and "Life's A Runway" performed and written by Rarity.

"Well, looks like you high school students are really true musicians after all, and not drop outs." Tracey said. "I'm sorry for my behavior. Would you forgive me?" She asked.

"Sure. We forgive you." Sunset said.

"And we'd like you to sign this contract, now I know you have school, and other school activites, but this won't effect the contract." Tracey said as she gave them the contracts. "Now sign the dotted lines, and you're all set." She said.

"Whoa. Now that's a lot of stuff." Sunset said as she looked at the contract.

"So that we can stay in balance from our schedules, including school, and others, right?" Applejack asked.

"Yes, but you have to read the contract carefully." Tracey said.

And after that, the Rainbooms read the contracts carefully, and signed the dotted line, and they're good to go!

"Well, looks like you're all set." Tracey said. "Good luck with your music and songwriting skills and school lives. I hope you girls will have a bright future ahead." She said.

"Yeah. We do." Sunset replied

"And I have to go back home to Equestria. I just wish the others will love this." Princess Twilight said.

After that, the Rainbooms said their goodbyes, and left the recording studio, Rebecca drove them off back to Canterlot High School near the statue where Princess Twilight was about to leave, and drove off.

"I knew these girls are great musicians and great students." Rebecca said.
