//-------------------------------------------------------// Rebecca and the Rainbooms -by PascalMulokozi2- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// The Rainbooms' first recording session //-------------------------------------------------------// The Rainbooms' first recording session It has been a day since the Battle Of The Bands, and Rebecca had first met the Rainbooms there, due to her having a VIP pass, and today, she's inviting the rest of the band to the recording studio where she works. "Man, I can't believe it's been yesterday since I met the Rainbooms, including Sunset Shimmer." Rebecca said. "I mean, last year she turned into a she-demon during the Fall Formal incident, now she's a kind young girl who has a beautiful voice similar to Princess Twilight & mine... it's like my heart is linked to those girls." She continued as she was about to get on the van and drive to Canterlot High School to meet them and take them to the recording studio. Rebecca almost didn't realize this, but in a few hours that Princess Twilight & Spike are about to return to Equestria in a few hours. So, she decided to make the tour a little better, and a little quicker. A few moments later, she arrived to Canterlot High and met them. "Hi, there." Greeted Rebecca. "Hi, Rebecca!" Greeted the Rainbooms. "So, you taking us to the recording studio where you work?" Princess Twilight said. "Yup." Rebecca said as she was about to board the band to the recording studio. "Ooooh! I can't wait!" Pinkie said in glee. "It's gonna be awesome!!!!" Rainbow Dash said. And so, they got on the van, and Rebecca drove the band to the recording studio where she used to work, and when they arrived there, the Rainbooms, including Princess Twilight & Sunset were amazed at the recording studio. The recording studio was called Ocean Blue Water Studios, which was a subsidiary of Canterlot Records in Canterlot City. The studio was know for recording bands, mixing and producing music, audio work, and voice acting for movies, cartoons, anime, and others. When Rebecca got to the recording and showed her boss, the boss looked confused. The boss looked confused and said, "Rebecca? What the heck do you think you're doing?" "Tracey, don't get too mad, right now." Rebecca said, trying to explain. "I met these 7 high school teenage girls and their dog yesterday over at the Canterlot City amphitheater, and well, they play like real live musicians, and that girl, with the blonde hair and red highlights, well she plays a rockin' guitar like a like a real professional and sings like a real professional, just like me when I was young. She continued. "I don't care if they're high school celebrity drop-outs, they ain't gonna do it here!" Tracey said as the other workers laughed. "High school drop-outs?" Applejack said. "We're not drop-outs, and we're still in high school." She continued. "Ma'am..." Princess Twilight said. "Girl, are you born in from an another dimension or born in an another world?" Tracey said. "Yes, ma'am, I was born in Equestria, as a unicorn, and became an alicorn princess last year." Princess Twilight said. "Me too. I too, was born in Equestria, as a unicorn." Sunset said. "And I too am born a dragon in Equestria." Spike said. "Did that dog just talk?" a worker said. "Yup." Spike said. "It's all true." Fluttershy said. The workers and Tracey looked at each other and them, so she decides to do a little insult on them... "Well let me help you out then, "alicorn princess" & "unicorn", this is a recording studio that does REAL music genres, rock n' roll, rap, K-pop, country music, etc... we don't play no magical music." Tracey said. "Uh, yes, ma'am, I like those music genres, Rock N' Roll, Country, K-Pop, Hip-Hop, Techno, Alternative Rock, and other types of music." Sunset said. "Well, go on. Tell me. What is it that you like about those music genres? asked Tracey. "Well, I love the music, you know, it soothes the mind letting go of the bad memories, and learning how to live and cherishing the good memories of the precious person who cares for you in the past. You gotta learn that your bad past is not today, and your good past is part of your future." Sunset explained. The people laughed sarcastically, but not Rebecca. But they decided to let them do a recording session, the first one was called "Shine Like Rainbows" which was the song written by Rainbow Dash herself. While the Rainbooms played their were prepping their instruments, with the recording crew doing the preparations for the music recordings and after setting up for the pre-recording, the Rainbooms their first recording in the recording studio, and while doing music and vocals, suddenly they started to pony up, again. Realizing what happened, and amazed at their performance in the recording booth, Rebecca said to her boss: "Tracey, I think you're outvoted." "Reb, one hint of trouble, and your Rainboom high school friends are out of here." Tracey said with a warning. "Dang... I'm gonna have just watch and enjoy doing my job, and give them some special effects." She said. And after some recordings from their new song that the Rainbooms, did such as "My Past is Not Today" which was performed by Sunset and written by Rebecca, "Friendship Through the Ages", which was performed and written by the Rainbooms, and "Life's A Runway" performed and written by Rarity. "Well, looks like you high school students are really true musicians after all, and not drop outs." Tracey said. "I'm sorry for my behavior. Would you forgive me?" She asked. "Sure. We forgive you." Sunset said. "And we'd like you to sign this contract, now I know you have school, and other school activites, but this won't effect the contract." Tracey said as she gave them the contracts. "Now sign the dotted lines, and you're all set." She said. "Whoa. Now that's a lot of stuff." Sunset said as she looked at the contract. "So that we can stay in balance from our schedules, including school, and others, right?" Applejack asked. "Yes, but you have to read the contract carefully." Tracey said. And after that, the Rainbooms read the contracts carefully, and signed the dotted line, and they're good to go! "Well, looks like you're all set." Tracey said. "Good luck with your music and songwriting skills and school lives. I hope you girls will have a bright future ahead." She said. "Yeah. We do." Sunset replied "And I have to go back home to Equestria. I just wish the others will love this." Princess Twilight said. After that, the Rainbooms said their goodbyes, and left the recording studio, Rebecca drove them off back to Canterlot High School near the statue where Princess Twilight was about to leave, and drove off. "I knew these girls are great musicians and great students." Rebecca said. The End. //-------------------------------------------------------// Rebecca and the Battle Of The Bands //-------------------------------------------------------// Rebecca and the Battle Of The Bands It began that evening, a year has passed since Rebecca Shoichet, an average woman from Canterlot City who discovered an unexpected incident here in Canterlot High during the Fall Formal of 2013. This incident almost made her feel bad for Rebecca because when she saw the girl, Sunset Shimmer, the one that caused the incident, Rebecca starts to feel bad for her, and felt that her heart was linked to Sunset's, including Princess Twilight. But sometime later, she still wants to meet these girls ever since the whole incident from last year. "Man, it's been a year since the whole incident in Canterlot High. I wonder if I could meet the girls physically." Rebecca said. "I know that Sunset was bad at the Fall Formal and transformed into a she-demon, and turned all the students into zombies for an evil conquest of "Equestria", besides, those are innocent inhabitants of this world, and these inhabitants haven't done anything wrong here. Besides, she still reminds me of my past when I was young. How can I meet these girls?" She continued. But all is not lost when she found her VIP ticket to the Canterlot High Battle Of The Bands of 2014 in her desk earlier. "Aha! My VIP ticket!" Rebecca exclaimed. "I remember I paid for the CHS Battle Of The Bands tickets, since I am a alumni here at this high school, and a successful actor, singer and work at the best recording studio in Canterlot City, "Ocean Blue Water Studios". Maybe I can meet them here and, I can show them where I work. She continued as she went out of the house. And that's what she did, she decided to go to the amphitheater where the Battle Of The Bands of 2014 were being held. At the amphitheater, everyone was excited for the Battle Of The Bands of 2014 here, including Rebecca. During that time, a group of 3 girls, named Sonata Dusk, Aria Blaze & Adagio Dazzle, were playing a song, called "Welcome To The Show" while Rebecca, was about to enter the show, with her VIP tickets when she sees the same 7 girls The Main 6 & Sunset Shimmer but in different outfits, similar to the ones from Jem And The Holograms and the purple talking dog, Spike, who's actually a baby dragon in Equestria in the hill. "What the heck?" Rebecca said. "These girls are supposed to be on the stage. But, it feels like, deja vu... from last time. Besides, these outfits remind me of a TV show that I used to watch called "Jem And The Holograms" that airs every Saturday morning." In the hill, Rainbow Dash, a member of the Rainbooms, were about to perform the song, so that they could break the spell caused by the Dazzlings, unaware that Rebecca was about to record the Battle Of The Bands of 2014 with her own video camera. Before the others were about to perform, Rainbow said; "How are we supposed to play over them from up here?" Then, a car appeared, the owner, DJ Pon-3, arrived at the scene, then, her car started to transform, similar to the ones from Transformers into a DJ set-like equalizer, which amazes the Rainbooms. "Now that's something you'd never seen every day." Rebecca said. Meanwhile, the Dazzlings were still singing their song with their vocals, as the other fans were still amazed at the song. "Feel the wave of sound as it crashes down You can’t turn away, we’ll make you want to stay." The Dazzlings sang, as their gems started to glow, including their bodies, as they started to transform, just like The Main 6 earlier last year into magical girls, similar to that of Mew Mew Power (Tokyo Mew Mew). But with pony ears and long hair for tails. "We will be adored, tell us that you want us, We won’t be ignored, it’s time for our reward. Now you need us, come and heed us, Nothing can stop us now.." They continued singing. But before they could sing another lyric, another singing voice with an another rocking beat was heard. "Oh, whoa, I’ve got the music in me. Oh, whoa." The singing voices sang, it was the Rainbooms, who are playing their song, trying to get their attention of the crowd. "So, that's why they're getting their attention to the crowd." Rebecca said as she was still recording the whole Battle Of The Bands. Suddenly, an unexpected thing happened while they were singing, they started to pony up again! "Now this is Deja Vu all over again!" Rebecca said as she saw them transform again. "But, it's like they've become the Holograms, but different!" She continued. After hearing them interrupting their song, Adagio, the leader of the Dazzlings, said; "So the Rainbooms want to turn this into a real Battle of the Bands? Then let’s battle." "What we have in store, all we want and more, We will break on through, now it’s time to finish you!" The Dazzlings sang as their eyes start to glow red as the music starts to intensify." "Okay... What the heck is happening?!" Rebecca said as she saw something happen to the Dazzlings. The Dazzlings start to summon their gems into their own 3 siren-like creatures! "OMG...! I can't... believe it..." Rebecca said in shock after she saw the creatures summoned from the Dazzlings' gems. This also shocked the Rainbooms, Sunset & Spike, but with their efforts, they started to play the music to fight those creatures, they were doing well, until, the Dazzlings with their siren-like creatures start playing in higher notes which caused them to sing a great melody, resulting in the microphone goes flying out of Twilight’s hand, brushing against one of Pinkie’s cymbals as it tumbles past to Sunset. Sunset grabbed the mic, and felt scared of saying something, or singing something. "Sunset Shimmer, we need you!" Princess Twilight said. Rebecca, who has a heart that's linked Sunset & Princess Twilight, felt worried for her. So, Rebecca grasped her hand and held her heart did something she never did before; Rebecca used telepathy to talk to Sunset Shimmer's mind through her heart. "I felt the same way when I first got on the big stage during my first show back in high school. So, don't look. Just focus on the microphone, don't remember the bad memories from your past, think about the song, and keep the music in your head at all times. Then in a moment, you'll be fine. Just show everyone who you really are. You can show them what's in your own heart." Said Rebecca telepathically. Sunset was confused at what she heard from her mind, but with determination, she took off her jacket, and was about to show the whole crowd who she really was... "You’re never gonna bring me down, You’re never gonna break this part of me, My friends are here to bring me ’round, Not singing just for popularity..." sang Sunset. Then, Princess Twilight started to Join Sunset and sing too, they sang, "We’re here to let you know, that we won’t let it go, Our music is a bomb and it’s about to blow." "She did it!" Rebecca said. "And besides... you know they have similar singing voices, kind of like me, when I sing... it's like they're singing like me..." She continued. Then the rest of the Rainbooms started to sing along to the song, as a mysterious wave that turns into a ball of light which turns into a rainbow wave due to them singing together. Then, something unexpected happened. Sunset started to glow, and was about to lift up. "Now, what's happening...?" Rebecca said as she saw what was about to happen. Suddenly two yellow-orange pony ears emerge from within the wild tumble of her hair, and one midair pirouette later, the locks reaching down her back have elongated into a tail secured by a studded band that matches her bracelets. Sunset has finally transformed, just like the rest of the Rainbooms, and with the combined singing harmony from the band and the crowd, an amazing thing happened... A giant colossal alicorn started to blast at the 3 creatures and the Dazzlings, resulting in the gems being shattered. "Whoa... I don't understand what's going on, but these 7 girls really never give up!" Rebecca said in amazement. A few seconds later, everything went to normal, including the crowd. The Dazzling's jewels were shattered, and the Dazzlings were returned back to their original human selves. Realizing what happened to their jewels they tried to sing, but their singing was off tune, making them tone deaf. Everyone heard it, but it was horrible, so horrible, that the crowd started to boo at them, including Rebecca. They threw stuff at them and ran off at the stage. The Rainbooms and Sunset who have retuned back to their true human appearences, arrive to the scene of the gems and realized why these gems were the ones that made their voices beautiful. "Guess that explains why these were so special to them." Sunset said sarcastically. "Without those pendants and the magic you brought here from Equestria, they’re just three harmless teenage girls." Princess Twilight explained. Suddenly, a fan known by the name of Flash Sentry appeared and praised the Rainbooms performance and said; "Rainbooms rule!" Then, he gave Princess Twilight a hug and said; "That was amazing!" This hug was so embarrassing to Princess Twilight, that she blushed. Then Trixie, the leader of the Illusions appeared, and she wasn't in a good mood. She said; "You may have vanquished the Dazzlings, but you will never have the amazing show-stopping ability of the Great and Powerful Trixie!" This resulted at her throwing a smoke bomb, causing her to "disappear". "She's gone!" Pinkie said, until she sees and hears her footsteps. "Oh, wait. There she is." She said as she spotted Trixie. Trixie tried to escape from climbing the walls, but she fell down. "Trixie's okay!" Trixie said "You know, Twilight is going back to Equestria soon. The Rainbooms could really use someone to help Fluttershy on backup vocals." Rainbow said while Princess Twilight nodded her head. Sunset knew what Rainbow meant, so, she finds a Flying V Guitar and plays the guitar professionally, the girls realized that Sunset is also a skilled guitarist, despite being born in Equestria. "I play guitar." Sunset said. The Rainbooms knew what Sunset meant, so they decided to hug her, including Spike for a group hug. Rebecca, who saw the girls hugging together, said, "How'd they'd get so smart?" So, Rebecca, who went on stage, who has a VIP pass decides to meet them. "So, you must be the Rainbooms, & Sunset Shimmer, huh?" She asked, then she gives them her card. "Name's Rebecca. I'm actually a huge fan of your song." She continued. "Rebecca Shoichet, huh?" Sunset said. "Have we met?" "No, but I work at Ocean Blue Water Studios in Canterlot City, and we were thinking, we could sign you a deal." Rebecca said. "Huh?" What do you mean? Applejack said. "Our studio has recorded the best singers all around Canterlot City, and since you 7 girls are SO talented, we figured we might give you a tour around the whole recording studio to check it out." "Uh... that's a good offfer... but--" Fluttershy tried to explain. "I'd be honored to accept the deal, but we have school, so we must balance our stuff and schedules and have normal lives." Sunset said. "I'm in!" Pinkie said. "This is epic, and AWESOME!!!!" Rainbow said in excitement. "Great, I'll take you to our studio, and we'll give you a tour of the recording studio tomorrow." Rebecca said. "Okay." Sunset said. "Besides, you and I, including you, Twilight have formed a bond together." Rebecca said. Then after the Battle Of The Bands, Rebecca went back home and had a plan for the grand tour of the recording studio that she worked, and little does she know, her future is right ahead! "Looks like this is gonna be the best tour ever" Rebecca said, smiling. The End.
