After speaking with AJ “i'm gonna go back home bye AJ” she left through the arch bordering the orchard

“no more birds huh” the world became eerily quiet ‘is someone messing with me’ continuing to trot at a brisk pace ‘just ignore it’ she said to herself ‘everything's fine’

As the trail dragged on she thought ‘why are the trees so blocky’ she thought to herself trotting up to one ‘odd’ she thought reaching out to one.

As her hoof reached out it suddenly snapped back to normal “agh!” she jumped back startled ‘something isn't right’ her thoughts clouding her mind deciding to galop further down the lane her breath becoming heavy due to overexertion.

After a short gallop she found herself on the outskirts of Ponyville her body tense she trotted carefully down the streets of the town ‘am i being watched’ looking around her at the few ponies that were around ‘its like they cant see me’ she eyed them listening in

“So yeah i recently got a new barrel for my apples” the stallion laughed “how about you” he asked happily

“Just admiring the town you know my little ones could use a bit of sun in there lives with them being cooped up in their bedrooms all the time” she chuckled

‘Huh odd’ twilight decided to continue walking not to look like a weirdo walking through the streets of the town on her way the smell of freshly baked pastries filled the air ‘i wonder if pinkies making anything’ her stomach agreeing with the idea she diverted her course to the bakery to see the pink baker

Upon arriving at the bakers home and store she entered through the large doors “hey pinkie you here” she said hoping for a sense of comfort ‘i could use a cupcake’

“Coming right up!” pinkie yelled from the kitchen the clang of metal on metal and ingredients filled the air as she worked her magic

“One cupcake for twilight sparkle” with that a cupcake flew out onto the counter with that she continued singing some random song “but there's no sense crying over every mistake you just keep on trying till you run out of cake”

Twilight smiled at her antics and took a bite of her cupcake “thanks pinkie!” she said glad to her friend “how much do i owe ya”

“It's on the house or on the plate” she laughed with mirth continuing to tend to her duties

Finishing her cupcake, twilight got up and left “thanks pinkie!” tossing a bit into her jar she left the building, the doors bell chiming.
