Stone Cold

Pinkie Pie grabbed Sandbar by the hoof. “Run!”

Pinkie Pie and Sandbar then ran as Flurry Heart fired blasts from her horn that turned individual ponies into stone foals. Flurry Heart giggled as she drank up their magic.

Pinkie Pie and Sandbar ran past Sandbar’s house. His parents were standing by the front door. “Sandbar, what’s going on?” His mother asked.

“Get back inside!” Pinkie Pie shouted.

But it was too late. In a flash, Sandbar’s parents were both turned into stone foals.

“NO!” Sandbar screamed.

Pinkie Pie placed Sandbar on her back. Then quickly, and stealthily snuck out of Ponyville.

Once they made it deep into the Everfree forest, Pinkie Pie and Sandbar stopped to rest. Sandbar began crying, so Pinkie Pie gently rubbed his back.

“Why is this happening?!” Sandbar yelled. “First my sister, and now my parents!”

“Flurry Heart has gained a taste for power.” Pinkie Pie explained. “She wants to remain a foal forever.”

“We have to stop her! I don’t want what happened to my family to happen to the rest of Equestria!”

Pinkie Pie thought for a moment. “Well, we can’t do this with just the two of us. We’re going to need help. And I know just who to ask.”
