Prologue
Flagship above Earth, 2020.
Alexander Raze had used his psionic powers to throw his squad members out the door before locking it. He exhaled, then waited for the squad to escape. He concentrated and began to lift the huge flagship into space. It would be good to use it to restore Earth. But he saw what this alien alloy would do to the planet. Thus, he did not panic, did not worry, and did only what he had to.
Having raised the ship to a safe distance, Alex saw that it was in space. He then began to prepare to destroy the ship.
"Forgive me, people, but I do what I have to. "For Earth and XCOM," the man mentally said, like a final mantra. He then destroyed the Flagship in a thousand pieces. They began to fly apart, each taking a different direction. Some fell to Earth, and others burned up in the atmosphere.
Finding himself in the void, he was not surprised. He could be reborn, but "biblical things" would await him: heaven, hell, or something worse.
He let out a deep sigh and began to wait. Ultimately, a familiar, clichéd image of a "light at the end of the tunnel" became clear. But when he decided to go to the light, it turned out that the light itself was approaching him. Alex pulled himself together. Then, he looked at the bright light. It grew nearer until it swallowed him.
The visor of his helmet protected his eyes, so he saw how he was rushing into some forest. He knew he could inflict severe pain on himself, to put it mildly. So, he used psionics to try to slow or protect himself from the fall. He wrapped himself in a psi-shield. Then, he hit the ground with all his might. This left a huge furrow and a pile of dirt. Having removed the cocoon, he saw that a fire was flaring up around him, likely caused by friction. Raze, urgent to trample the flames, staggered from the blow. He caught his breath, shook his head, and moved away from the hard fall.
— As Obi-Wan Kenobi said, another happy landing! — The soldier offered a faint smile, removed his helmet, and scanned his surroundings. He tried not to wince at the burning smell. Still, it’s hard to extinguish a flame with a boot, so the grass burned slightly, and the bark of some trees became sooty. Thus, he had to hurry to put the helmet back on his head so that the filters could process it all to some extent.
— Okay, where did I end up? It’s clear that I’m in the forest, but... — the soldier muttered under his breath. Taking his trusty plasma machine gun, he decided to go in a random direction. Then, he had a strange feeling, as if he were near something, something great. After walking a couple of hundred meters more, he came out into a more or less cleared land, and saw... the castle of the Two Sisters?
— Damn you, are you serious? Dear God... — Alex exhaled with a loud breath before deciding to go into the castle. Walking the corridors of the majestic castle, Raze found many legacies. It was once home to Celestia and Luna, but they traded it for Canterlot Castle. Of scrolls and parchments, few were in decent condition. Stasis spells protected them. Stained glass windows and paintings, too, had survived time. Over time, most stained glass windows broke. The man genuinely struggled to understand why the castle was abandoned. Well, or why it was abandoned, but no one took anything away?
After exploring the ruins of Old Equestria, Alex found the most important thing here - the tree with the Elements. As he approached, the tree showed a strange response. Raze responded at once.
— No, no, no, I will not sign up for this! — the soldier immediately turned around and began to leave.
But the tree disagreed. Vines appeared and locked the exits. Then more vines that appeared tried to tie Alexander up when he dodged and tried to escape. Unfortunately, they caught him, and the tree continued to react in an unusual manner. It lit up, and if he had not been wearing a helmet, he would have suffered temporary blindness.
The man felt as if the ground had vanished beneath him, causing him to fall. After a few seconds, he found himself in some kind of timeless space, after which he began to look around.
— What the hell is going on here? — Raze, the Volunteer... The soldier, who fought in the most brutal war, felt puzzled and scared. Unlike Earth, where all non-humans were enemies, here it was unclear. It was unclear what the hell the Tree of Harmony was doing.
A sound caught his attention, and turning around, he saw... his memories?
— What the hell is going on in this Equestria?! — Alexander couldn’t understand why they started showing his flashbacks from his service on Earth, the war with the aliens... Raze understood, after looking through them, that this was a sophisticated form of brain-fuck. Having walked past his own memories, where he fought and killed for the Earth, he finally found the source of it all.
Either Alex was too high on combat drugs, or his mind had shifted. He saw a pony, completely white. It was unclear if it was a "man" or a "woman". And he intended to find out what the hell was going on.
Something interrupted his loud stream of thoughts, and silence fell in his head. He did not notice when the white pony with a shining aura began to speak directly into Alex's mind without moving her lips.
"Do not be afraid, warrior... You have had to go through a lot... And there is still a lot to go through... But the most important thing is that now you are safe. With me," she said.
"Alexander... Your whole being, right down to your name, says that you are a warrior, ready to sacrifice yourself to protect your friends and loved ones... Alexander... Dark times are coming to Equestria... Dark and very dangerous... That's why I beg you... Become a protector for Equestria and the ponies that live here... It may be difficult, but believe me, it's worth it... You will become the hero for all ponies that they have been waiting for so long..." - the pony continued.
Raze clenched his teeth. The only thing he needed was a new adventure. In the future, or already in the present, he never checked the timeline, there should be the Main 6. They solve all problems with friendship, magic, and forgiveness. Why did he need it, a young but weary soldier? He did not fit into this calm, peaceful Equestria at all.
After a long silence, thoughts flooded back into the man's mind. It felt like a heavy waterfall, causing a slight pain in his brain. Then, even through the helmet's filters, he heard a hissing sound. Looking down, he saw a new symbol of harmony on his armor. He did not remember it from the series, but he knew it was part of that spirit. The dark armor displayed a silver shield that glimmered with a golden rim. The shield bore the sun and moon, symbols of Equestria's protection.
"What the hell? Why did all this appear on my armor? I did not agree to such a deal with the devil, good lord ... and now I also need to understand what will happen next, oh, why did I get all this?" — To put it mildly, Raze was surprised. He was essentially signed up for another suicide mission and was not notified... and for some reason this something resembling the Spirit of Harmony did not even hint at the future Six. Now it will not be the Main 6. But the Main 7 or something? Alex had many questions and no answers at all.
Raze kept thinking about why he was chosen for this role and why Equestria, but then one phrase of that spirit appeared in his head — "... A warrior ready to sacrifice himself ..." — Suddenly, this thought froze the soldier and filled him with rage. He was a sacrificial lamb, made so against his will. Now, he didn't know what to feel. It was logical that the Main Six would remain the Main Six if the seventh died a hero.
The man did not like his fate at all. With no answers, he sat on the ground, thinking about his situation.
"And so it always is... Some spirits with their prophecies bring incomprehensible things until it's too late..." He had to see what would happen next. The Main Six always handled everything themselves, per the plot he remembered.
"Fuck..." Raze sighed heavily. He was, for a moment, resigned to his fate. He decided to leave this ill-fated forest and find a signpost.
Having secured the helmet on his belt and lit a cigarette, he headed for the exit of this evil castle. He put down the cigarette and inhaled the fresh air. Then, he trudged along the path Main 6 would take to the castle. They would face a lot of dangers to prove they were candidates for the elements.
As he walked, Alexander thought of how to help the Six. His armor, build, and weapons weren't suited for a chat. He scanned the area with his radar, confused by the lack of life. Only small, harmless mutants remained, as if the Main Six had never existed. There weren't even any forest wolves. They usually walked in packs. The rare inhabitants who saw a person sensed a threat and hid, fearing him.
"Awesome... What the hell kind of reconnaissance can there be here if there's nothing to recon!?"
Irritated, he sighed. He decided to leave the forest. He kept scanning with his radar and psionics to avoid surprises.
After walking through gullies, Alexander exited the forest. He saw the most famous place for all Bronies - a village called Ponyville. Alex sighed and sat in a secluded spot. He put on his helmet and adjusted the built-in binoculars. Then, he searched the village for the Main Six.
He noticed Applejack with her family working among the apple trees.
He noticed Rarity walking by with the look of a quasi-aristocrat.
He saw Pinkie Pie working in Sugarcube Corner in her traditional manner.
He even saw Rainbow Dash having a hard time on a cloud.
He didn't see only Fluttershy, for obvious reasons, and Twilight with Spike, for not obvious ones. Although why not obvious? There was someone else in the library at that time, and the lilac nerd and her assistant were kind of gone... she didn't have time to get the task of "learning friendship" in Ponyville, apparently.
Anyway, while he was getting out of the forest, evening had come. So, Alex Raze decided to find a better spot and make a mini camp to sleep. There was no need to think about the camp for now, so Alex decided to sleep like a savage - on a tree. He took out two knives made of alien alloys. Then, he climbed a decent, large tree. He secured his belongings and himself to avoid falling. Finally, he got comfortable and began to sleep.

Something has gone wrong. We don't seem to have an archived copy of that chapter. From One World to Another.
Canon. Battle in the Castle of Two Sisters
Alexander Raze was a fucking seer - it was hard to get through the Everfree Forest, but it was possible. Skirting gullies, tree roots sticking out of the ground, avoiding dangerous animals, he moved back into the forest. First he climbs out of it, and now he goes back. Good logic, but nothing he can done.
He would have left all this to the mercy of the canon, and he himself would restore his hand, but he needed to check his hypotheses and fears. What if this damned tree of harmony is right? Or did it say some bullshit, and in reality everything will be like in the cartoon?! In general, he needs to see what happens there
Stumbling over stones and cursing under his breath, Alexander spent a significant amount of time until he got to the Castle. And he passed in time - he saw the Mane Six going inside, the man went in after them, hiding himself with the help of psi. So far, everything was going according to canon.
And so, the ponies found the very stones that Twilight intends to activate. When M6 talked to Twilight and left so as not to disturb her, a "storm" appeared, which grabbed the stones and sent them to the tower. But, unlike the canon, Twilight doesn't managed to move to the tower along with the stones, so she had to run there. When the haze disappeared, Nightmare Moon appeared and collapsed the passage inside, where the rest of the Mane 6 were running. And only after that did she turn into a cloud and flew away to that tower.
Raze looked at this scene a little bit in shock, when the voice of that spirit got into his head.
"Choose, Alexander. Either clear the way for the new Elements, or go save Twilight. But Twilight not hold long enough before Nightmare Moon without the support of her friends. To dispel Nightmare and return Princess Luna, all Elements are needed..."
Spitting, the man glanced at the barricade and hear work outside. Pinkie, Rainbow, Applejack, Rarity and Fluttershy were trying to get inside. At the same time, he already felt, with the help of psionics, how Twilight's "light" was running to the floor of the tower. And Nightmare Moon is already waiting for her there...
With a heavy sigh, Alex runs out of cover, throws one HE grenade at the rubble so that it can cleaned away. Then, he, jumping over the steps and stumbling on some of them, hissing from the pain in his right hand, ran to the castle tower.
Having run up to the floor, he saw that the "element stones" had already destroyed, and Twilight was almost ready to attack Nightmare. Actually, this was her mistake. Despite the fact that Twilight was Celestia's student, as well as a nerd, this did not help her against Nightmare's centuries-old experience, because of which the purple unicorn was thrown away like a bag of garbage.
— Hey! You can fight someone better than a simple teenage genius?! — Alex looked at Twilight. She was beaten, but alive.
— Why are you, an unknown, defending her? Join me and help me bring the Eternal Night! You will have honor and respect in my Lunar Empire! Trained warriors will be worth their weight in gold to root out the minions of this pathetic Celestia! — Nightmare offers him, but...
— A tempting offer, but I see only madness and destruction for Equestria and its people! From the Eternal Night, everything will begin to fall apart, and nature will begin to perish! I am not going to make such sacrifices! — Alexander sighs. It will be difficult. But, for now, he will have to mentally dig around in his "pocket" to find a normal tool for battle.
— I do not tell you to go against me, mortal! If you do not want to help me, you will die, or step aside and let me finish the job: destroy the future bearers of the Elements! — Nightmare growls threateningly with anger.
— Only over my dead body! — Alexander grabs... kind of short sword.
— So, you preparing for battle?! And you're dumber than you look, mortal! Prepare to die!. — Immediately after these words, Nightmare get an artifact weapon and made a dash towards Alexander. The man dodges the attack.
— Come on, come on! Attack, damn it! — the armor systems inject a mix of combat stimulants, liquid psi-amplifiers and painkillers. He'll have to work himself to the point of exhaustion, but he hopes that he'll have at least a ghost of a chance to survive this battle.
Raze dodges another attack and sends a psi-spear. Nightmare dodges and attacks him with a vertical strike. The man puts up a psi-shield. The shield cracks from the impact, but somehow holds on, but the weapon pushes through it. Alex strains his brains and sends a repulsive wave, putting enough force into it. This is enough, but Nightmare immediately regroups and goes on a new attack.
Having strengthened his weapon and his hands with energy, Alex takes the artifact weapon right on his own weapon. Having taken the blow, it kicks Nightmare Moon, after which the fencing begins. The artifact weapon and a simple reinforced sword collide in a dance of death.
Nightmare summons lightning, which strikes Alexander. He screams in pain, and at the same time she delivers a horizontal a blow straight to the man's torso. He has no time to dodge or block the blow. And weapon almost cuts him in half, leaving a very deep furrow on the armor, and at the same time chops off a piece of the cloak. A bandaged hand on sight.
— You're also wounded! Well, it will be very easy to defeat you, worthless!
Alexander fights with the help of his sword. Then, another lightning strike, he covers it with his wounded hand as the discharge reaches him. Alexander almost passes out, but is still standing. And something starts to happen. Nightmare turns around, Alexander looks out from behind. There are M6 has already reunited and was ready to give Nightmare Moon a hell.
Nightmare Moon throws Alexander back and throws several "smart" shadow daggers, to be sure. Due to the force of the blow and the old age of the building, he breaks through the wall and flies down on his back. Alex tries to cast a psi-cocoon, as he did when he got to Equestria, but he is too weakened due to the battle and a bunch of injuries received. But, he has a little strength left to protect his spine and spinal cord, so as not to become eternally incapacitated. Immediately after this, shadow daggers crash into his torso, almost next to his chest and stomach... and then a blow. Darkness covers his mind.
At the same time
The power of the Elements hit Nightmare Moon. Flash. The bearers of the Elements begin to stand up, and they begin to talk and comment on what they received. Celestia appears, a reunion with Luna occurs. Twilight have a mission to learn how to be friends with ponies she met. Before returning to Ponyville for the party, Twilight decides to tell her teacher something.
— Princess Celestia! A...actually, we weren't the only ones who defeated Nightmare Moon. Someone helped us. — Twilight said, hesitating a bit.
— And who was that, Twilight? — Celestia asked. She didn't see anyone who could help Twilight and her new friends defeat Princess Luna's evil form.
— Look! The wall is destroyed! — Rainbow Dash says.
Peeking out, they see someone strange lying on the grass near the castle.
— I know who it is! It's the new guy who arrived in Ponyville yesterday! He even has a strange name, Alexander. — Pinkie says.
— Yeah, I remember some weird-looking non-pony too. He was asking how he could help me and Macintosh! — Applejack confirms.
— I saw him too, by the way, not far from your farm, Applejack! — Rainbow agrees.
— You can go help him, my little ponies. In the meantime, I'll talk to my sister. — Celestia says. After a little hesitation, the Mane Six go to the exit of the castle to find that very place. Rainbow and Fluttershy go down with the help of their wings, through that very destroyed area.
Returning to Alexander.
Pain. Pain was the only sensation he felt. Pain penetrated the cells of his body, because of it he wanted to scream and tear his voice. The pain was so strong and unbearable that the painkillers he took before the fight did not help.
Opening his eyes, he saw the treetops of the Everfree Forest, as well as the sky. Trying to get up, his body was shot with arrows of pain, and the only thing he could do was crawl to one of the nearby trees. While he was crawling away, he heard the flapping of wings. He had once heard such a flapping. That's how pegasi flap their wings! When he crawled away, overcoming the pain, he saw Fluttershy landing and Rainbow hovering nearby. She immediately rushed to him, and Fluttershy, out of fear of the unknown, approached cautiously and carefully.
He pulled out daggers-knives from his chestplate, which went right up to the hilt. They immediately dissipated in his hands. With a heavy and hoarse sigh, he looked at the armor itself. It was damaged, but no worse than during the war with the aliens. But still, climbing straight at god, was a rash idea. But never mind, armor can self-repair, and in extreme cases there is alien alloys armor. He was wearing psi-armor and well, you can consider the armor saved his life.
Not paying attention to the two pegasi, he took off his chest plate. Well... the armor ALMOST saved his life. At the moment, blood was spreading over his body. Somehow lifting his T-shirt with one hand, he sighed. There was a huge wound on his body, and several deep cuts in the area where the knives hit. Fluttershy immediately turned away, Rainbow looked at him with a "little" shock. Yeah... she is not showing off in front of the Wonderbolts...
He takes out and opens his set. While he is rummaging around the large first aid kit, other members of the M6 begin to appear. Coughing up blood, he already finds a syringe with painkillers and injects into his neck. He started medical measures, barely holding himself from going unconscious again.
When the whole "Team Twilight" arrived at that place, they had already seen Rainbow and Fluttershy, who had flew down through a hole in the wall. It was obvious that their new, so to speak, friend was suffering greatly.
Twilight immediately cast a diagnostic spell.
— Dear Celestia...it's very bad there. So many wounds. How he ever surviving with this?
— Hey, if you ever going to help me, hold...the fucking T-shirt. — Alexander sighs. When Twilight hold his T-shirt with magic, human start to making FMA like before. And starting again from water with soup mixture.
— ARRRRRGH! — He screams from the pain. Fluttershy hides behind AJ, while others trying to hide their sights. They are unprepared for this view
Then, peroxide.
— Fuck my life...aliens were easier than fucking conventional wounds — Raze mutters. Finally, cleared his wounds, he gets new needle and string, and start to fix his wound. It was hard, but he fix it and now could bandage.
He stands up, swaying a little.
— God fucking damn... — Alex takes bandages and starts to bandaging. Sooner, his torso is covered with bandages.
Now, its time to increase his blood level. He takes out a box of pills, shakes a few into his palm and swallows them hard, washing them down with water from a flask. Droplets of water run down his cheeks as he gulps down the water. Exhaling, he wipes away the drops. After that he making various injections of medicine. With pills and medicine taking their effect, he slowly returning to his normal condition. His bad condition not that bad now. At least, he could hold enough before normal hospital services
— You still need proper medical treatment. — Twilight says. — We need to get you into Ponyville Hospital.
— I (cough) know. — Alex takes out all his items, and get them into pocket dimension. He remains with XCOM jumpsuit and beret — Lead the way out of this fuckery. I had it enough.
Reaching the edge of Everfree unharmed, due to Fluttershy's skills, they immediately went to the town. Having reached it, they intended to go to the hospital, but Celestia stopped them. Luna stood nearby and got used to the new reality.
— My little ponies. I understand that this is your friend? — Celestia questioned, when Alexander himself was in the back, trying to be a bush.
— Yes, Princess. Because of the battle with... — Twilight glanced at Luna. - Nightmare Moon, he was injured.. Thus, even if he healed himself, I want to take him to the Ponyville hospital. If he looks like a minotaur, he could achieve help — Alexander on back plan gazed on Twilight.
— Twilight, my favorite student, despite the fact that Ponyville is a large town, the local doctors have no experience with this. As sad as it may sound, but the doctors in Ponyville can only cure ponies from minor injuries and illnesses. Moving him to Canterlot would be a good idea. There are doctors who trained to provide healing to almost any race of Equus with which we have diplomatic relations. And if you say that your friend looks like a minotaur, then the Canterlot doctors will be able to help him.
Sometime ago, they come into Canterlot. Alexander Raze think they would go into usual hospital, but when they going into the Royal Castle...
"God fucking damnit..." — Alexander thinking. — "Why i ever experience that stuff? Better to me get unconscious in this forest.”
Sadly, there's no way to turn back, so he got checked, get his medical card to locals, and transfered to one of the royal hospital's ward.
After this stunning adventure and getting into medical bed, he almost immediately falls to sleep.
Author's Note
Yep, another cringe chapter. Now, princesses included.
This story going to be a little OP-like. You doesnt know it, but i have almost 3-4 tries to make my OC into MLP. Almost everyone of it goes into nuts and fuckery. So...i really hope that this story would be normal, without any schizo.
Also, it have a different things in comparison with my original russian version.
P.S. Still translated with google translator. With Hemmingway died and i doesnt have dollars to have normal version, i tried to fix it with my knowledge of english
From One World to Another.
Strange encounters. Some flashbacks
After a few hours of sleep, Alexander woke up. For now, he was staring at the ceiling and thinking about how he had gotten to this point. Ugh! Everything went to Tartarus from the very moment he forgot that the Everfree Forest has creatures that will bite your ass. And he, such a fool, was disoriented by what had happened and did not attach importance to the simplest collection of information. MO-RON! Militarized idiot! He still dares to call himself “the savior of the Earth” and “an XCOM soldier”. If one of his own found out about this, he would never be able to wash away this shame.
He tried to calm the anger and fury, rage and resentment rumbling inside him. Even despite his shitty state, he still has psionics, and they are reinforced by a mental shield. And if he had gotten to the bed in psi-armor... oh shit, there would have been a local Armageddon. Considering that Alex is most powerful psionic, the ponies would have to restore if not part of the medical wing, then his ward for sure.
He sighed heavily and finally decided to get up. Having sorted out the medical equipment, he took out his shoes from the pocket dimension and put them on. At least he was in his jumpsuit, so it wasn't so noticeable. Then the man looked at his hand, now properly treated, and sighed, going to the window. Also, his back responded with a slight pain. He still couldn't completely absorb this hard blow to the ground. But, at the same time, this is already much better than having a broken spine, or something worse. Then you could shoot yourself or inject a death syringe, as EXALT liked to do.
Outside, meanwhile, life was in full swing. Guards patrolled the city, chatting among themselves. Residents went about their important capital affairs. And somewhere occasionally you could see some aristocrats, doing business.
And what, one wonders, should he do? He is in Canterlot, the capital of Equestria and a hotbed of aristocrats. Also, there is a real chance of a visit from the Six or Princess Celestia.
No ideas came to him, so Alex again began to think over the words spoken by the Tree, to somehow understand what exactly he would need to do.
— How fucking tired I am of this unsaid thing! Go there I don't know where and steal I don't know what, ask that I don't know who... Oh... How fucking difficult it is with fortune tellers... Once they say something, only they themselves will fucking understand! - Raze swore quietly, standing by the window, and returning to the medical bed. He would have spat out of this damned window, but he still has some decency.
Having finally cursed enough, Alexander senses replaced by apathy and common sense.
— Hm... Hm... Hm?... Hm!... And why the fuck am I ranting here!? This is the fucking world of ponies, so let the Princesses decide this issue! Don't drag me into it! I'm sick of it! I've suffered enough, with the fucking aliens destroyed my homeland and killed my friends!
So what should he do? Go and bow to Celestia? At the moment, he's a nobody and has no name, plus there's a slight touch of xenophobia here... Fuck! Why is it so fucking easy for bronies who get to ponies and they live for their own pleasure! And but he can't find any peace, getting into different piles and types of fucking shit?! Either the timberwolf almost took his arm, or he ran into a suicidal attack on Nightmare Moon because of the chance to kill Twilight... want to take it, spit on all this from the heights of Canterlot, and go fuck himself. He actually deserved a rest after the fuck up on Earth!
Then he thought: could this "prophecy" be a mistake or something like that? He urgently needs Canterlot library to find an example of this, or at least some clues about it. But for now, the first thing he needed to do was find out about the tree of harmony itself.
He planned to get the information at night. Climb out of the ward, and then quietly, stealthily, go look for the library and look through the books. The plan based on snot and a kind word, but otherwise he would simply miss a lot of time. Waiting until night was a quest for patience, fortunately he could try to fall asleep and set the alarm for the right time to wake up for "work" on time. And since he was now in the hospital, he could "borrow" a few sleeping pills for a faster effect.
But then a problem arose again: Raze didn't even know where and what office was, and even more so where to look for the medications he needed. Let's say he would find out about a jar of sleeping pills, or some other form. But, at the same time, there is still one problem - “which office is it in?” He sighed heavily and realized that he would have to get out and look for all this crap on his own.
Soon he got dressed and climbed out. By human standards, Alexander wasn't that high, so he fit into the door.
Now… all that was left was to find the office itself or at least ask the nurse for help. Then take a little bit of sleeping pills, set a mental alarm clock and wake up at night. In the end, start doing things. He urgently needed to find out about this crap that was happening to him.
In the open corridor, Alexander saw nurses of different colors, but generally they were white or soft white-pink with small caps with a red cross on their heads. At the same time, seeing the tall soldier, they stayed closer to the wall because of his menacing appearance. He sighed quietly but heavily. It would be difficult… he thought about it and decided to look for the pills on his own.
Walking away from the nurses, they breathed a sigh of relief,. Then Alexander remembered about his medical supplies. Returning to his room, he opened the pocket dimension and pulled out one of the jars of sleeping pills.
At one time, when he was still on Earth, he was prescribed a course of sleeping pills, because he woke up every time from nightmares, scaring the shit out of the XCOM new recruits. Hmmm, well, Alexander didn't think that they would be useful to him not because of nightmares.
Shaking the jar, a sleeping pill fell out, which he immediately swallowed. His throat was dry, so Alex had to help with water from a flask. Sighing, he put everything away and returned to bed. After a while, the sleeping pills began to work, and he began to fall asleep. He managed to set a mental alarm for 0:00.
Finding himself in the dream world again, and seeing different bubbles with other pony dreams, he again wondered why his dream was in this format. Plus, it was unknown how long he would sit here, knowing that time in a dream flows completely differently.
Having lit a "cigarette", he began to wait. Maybe time would fly by quickly, maybe slowly... he had never encountered such crap before, so he didn't know
But despite the rather gloomy shade of the place itself, soon music began to play out of nowhere, and a multitude of colors and fireworks appeared around, gathering in one place, until Eris appeared from all this pandemonium, which greatly surprised Raze, because usually the main draconicus is Discord, and here the "princess" was instead of him.
— Hi-i-i-i-i my tired friend! So how are you living with us?
— What the fuck are you?! And where did Discord go?!
— My uncle decided to take a vacation from worldly and diplomatic affairs, so he will not be disturbed, and I will take his place. And by the way, you did not say whether you like it here.
— Well... I got my ass kicked like a total idiot, but otherwise everything is fine. So, you say that you are for him? And who are you then?
— Ha-ha! Fear mortal, for before you stands the great princess of chaos! Eris!
— Hmh... let's assume. So, despite Discord's "vacation", all the future fucked up remains in force? — Alexander lit a second "cigarette". Of course, it is not smoking in itself, but at least one can imagine it in the "dream world".
— What you call fucked up is canon... And why do you have the sign on your armor that Starswirl the Bearded wore?
— I know about "canon"... but this... well, what about it. I'll tell you: after the fuck up that the aliens did on Earth, and how I destroyed their damned Flagship, I found myself in Equestria. Having landed, I found myself, clichéd, in the Everfree Forest. This time, someone decided to play a joke on me and I landed next to the Castle of the Two Sisters. I went in. Everything seemed to be as usual, I decided to look at the place where all this bullshit with the Elements of Harmony would be. And the tree began to react strangely, vines appeared, there were no escape routes and I was caught. I got into some strange crap, and there was a spirit, talking about the future fuck up, and smashed this "sign of Starswirl the Bearded" right onto the armor.
Eris sighed heavily, already looking a little more serious.
— I'll kill her someday... How many times have I told her to turn off the answering machine... In general, what was told to you was not for you. And for Starswirl's group, MANY years ago.
— Oh, phew... Well, i'm "lucky" I guess. Okay, I'll sort this crap out, or shut it down, otherwise there will be questions. Although... can't you remove this crap?
— I can. But what will happen to me for this?
— Okay... I see, I'll sort it out myself — Alexander immediately "rolled back".
— Hey, why are you doing this so suddenly? I wanted it out of all kindness.
— Well... you're Discord, only in a skirt. Who knows what to expect from you and from Discord himself.
— The most important thing is not to interfere with the canon. They'll manage without you. Otherwise, it may happen that the world itself will want to get rid of you.
— Not to interfere with the canon? For God-Emperor's sake. I wanted to settle down and rest. And I suffered so much in the war with the aliens, damn them, I need to restore my sanity after the shit I've seen for several years.
Slightly changing her face to a more playful one, Eris spread her paws wide and with a small laugh.
At that moment the alarm clock woke up Alexander, and now he looked out the window and saw only solid night. Having checked his psi-armor, he saw that the sign from the armor had disappeared after all.
He breathed a sigh of relief. Now, it was time to sort himself out and not get involved in any bullshit at all. All the bullshit, in turn, was happening in the “triangle” of Canterlot-Ponyville-Everfree Forest. Therefore... he needed to leave, preferably as far away as possible.
This time, checking his supplies that he had collected, he saw in the bins of his “inventory” an advanced first aid kit that the soldiers of his unit used. Now, Alexander almost wanted to yell obscenities at the entire hospital building, because being stupid. Despite the fact that the XCOM medkit was as simple, this thing healed everything: from plasma wounds to alien poisons and brought operatives back from the jaws of death. And when all the medkit were produced in an improved variation, reinforced with alien technology ...
Having removed the bandages and everything that was clearly unnecessary, Raze used the medkit on the wounded arm, already seeing how the wound slowly closed until it was completely healed. After that, the soldier felt relief and a little rage like a Muton berserker (or like a Khorne berserker) because of his stupidity.
Then he checked the level of the mixture in the medkit, removed useless things, and sprayed the rest of the mixture on the wounds on the torso. The wounds healed here too, but, due to the lack of mixture, left slightly ugly scars. But, at the same time, Alexander Raze felt better. He practically returned to his previous state.
Now the most important thing is to get the hell out of here. Since he wants to rest. and Eris-Discord wants him to stay out of canon, he needs to leave Canterlot. Before he starts doing more stupid things, he combed through his pocket dimension and found a “ghost pack”. This package contains a mixture from a “ghost grenade”, but if a grenade can cover all allies, then the mixture in the package must be sprayed on yourself. On the plus side - the camouflage lasts longer and is better than from a grenade, what the doctor ordered.
After spraying himself from the package, he began to cover himself with this mixture, becoming invisible. When he finally became invisible, he put the package back and began to leave.
Opening the door and looking around, Alexander did not see anyone, after which he began to walk along the corridors of the hospital. It was deep night outside, and everyone was already asleep, and the corridors were quiet and dark. Having gotten his bearings, as he had when he came here the first time, the man went down and went out. Opening the door to the exit, Alexander took a breath of fresh air. Now... he ran, bent over (you can't break a habit now), to the exit from the capital.
Having passed through the patrolling guards, as well as the group that guarded the gate, he turned around to the night Canterlot, and ran from there. Soon the stealth began to stop, and Raze began to appear.
Having reached Ponyville, he appeared from stealth, looked around, and going around the city. Finding himself near the forest, but at the same time being at a decent distance from it, Alexander could finally allow himself to catch his breath...
Having leaned against a stone, he caught his breath, and realized that he want to eat. He took out a set of dry rations for dinner. Having taken out the stand and unfolded it, he put in a fuel tablet and lit it with a lighter. After that, he began to cook food. After 10 minutes, Alexander smelled a pleasant aroma and ate well, having eaten a part of the rations for dinner.
Wrapping himself in a cloak, he sat down on a more or less flat stone and again began to look at Canterlot, towering somewhere in the distance. The night was quiet, except for passive noise in the form of crickets, grasshoppers, as well as rustling leaves or grass ... Unfortunately, when silence came, memories activated.
Flashback. Some time after the start of the war. The Battle of Washington.
Alexander and the XCOM squad members rode together with Humvees and Abrams of the US Army. After the war began, Earth began to mobilize, because the aliens raided and attacked cities regardless of their affiliation.
It's been 3 months, and the aliens began to attack Washington, the capital of the United States. At the moment, the National Guard is holding back the alien scum, while the army going into the city. XCOM allocated 2 special forces units of 10 people for the operation - "Storm-1" and "Storm-2". They drove up to the city from the east, moving along George Washington Avenue, almost next to the Potomac River.
Driving onto the Theodore Roosevelt Bridge, the front Abrams received plasma hits and exploded. The XCOM squad immediately began to climb out of the army Humvee with other soldiers
— Ambush ahead! Aliens on Theodore Roosevelt Bridge! — Army Signalman Reports, hiding behind a destroyed tank.
— Forward! Hide behind the cars, quick! — Sergeant Alexander Raze ordered. The squad immediately ran to the cars, which were here and there. As soon as they appeared from behind the tank, the aliens began to shoot at them. Dodging green plasma clots, they ran to the cars and took cover. Raze looked out unnoticed and saw that a dozen sectoids and thin mans had set up an ambush.
— Sectoids and thin man at 12 o'clock! Be careful! — now, 2 infantry squads crawled to the "Storm-1".
— Aliens at 12 o'clock, M249 suppressive fire! - two machine gunners from both sides of the bridge placed the M249 on bipods and began to fire suppressive fire. Turning the SCOPE upward, Alex adjusted it, after which he fired a burst at one of the sectoids. Green blood and the fall of the "little gray man" were visible. The rest of the squad also fired bursts at the aliens.
The aliens finally began to respond, firing at the positions from a dozen light plasmers. Many plasma clots flew in their direction, flying over their heads, crashing into the ground, or hitting the cars debris. It became more difficult to return fire due to danger of getting an alien-everything-evaporating "pill" right in the face.
While they were exchanging fire, two MK19s were set up, and soon the AGL spat out their deadly payload. Explosions and a dying hiss could be heard in the distance. Looking out, the sergeant saw that everything ahead was in a cloud of very toxic gas.
— The ambush had been destroyed! Forward! We are behind schedule!
Ten minutes later, they found themselves on the streets of the US capital. Corpses everywhere, destroyed and "parked cars; “walls” of police cars with policemen corpses lying here and there. Bulletproof vests, shotguns, or rifles doesnt helped them. Of course, they managed to destroy numbers of aliens, but the National Guard units already reporting that the alien count was in the hundreds.
There were still a huge number of civilians in the city, and the National Guard managed to occupy several highways, along which residents were taken out on buses and trucks, away from this fucked up place.
Two weeks passed in such a deadly pace of battles in houses, on narrow streets and alleys. During this time, they were able to take out a small part of the civilians, but at least they were saved. The evacuation corridors were constantly attacked by aliens, and small UFO tried to bombard the roads with their plasma guns. Because of this, it was necessary to create a permanent duty of air force, air defense and the XCOM satellite. Also, the evacuation points where all the residents were taken before being sent out of the city were constantly attacked. Two of them were created near the Lincoln and Washington memorials (yes, I am copying the original COD: MW2. Problems?)
Alexander lit a cigarette and watched as the cannonade was heard in the distance. The US Army troops successfully pushed the aliens out of the city areas, while suffering moderate losses. There were so many alien fragments and corpses that they had to take the trophies to the Base with whole Sky Rangers. Scientists and engineers were pissing themselves from the abundance of materials. In the evening... something strange began.
In the sky, a huge bulk was visible... an alien ship, before not shown on radar. Having appeared above the city, it opened fire from dozens of plasma guns. At the same time, flashes of teleportation became visible. The comms exploded with panicked screams.
— WE ARE UNDER ATTACK FROM THE AIR! WE ARE BEING BOMBED!
—THIS IS WOLVERINE-4, ALIEN INFANTRY AND TANKS ARE ATTACKING US! REPEAT! WE ARE BEING ATTACKED BY ALIEN INFANTRY AND HEAVY VEHICLES! BROKEN ARROW! I REPEAT - BROKEN ARROW!
— MSR are under attack! This thing is trampling us into the ground!
— Fucking hell… “Center”, do you see that!?!?!?! — Raze asked in a voice of horror, looking at the dreadnought shooting in all directions.
— I see, “Storm-1”. We are listening to the comms in Washington. Many bases, outposts, and EVACs are under attack by Mutons and tanks and mech analogues. More and more teams are going silent. BCTs are taking heavy casualties. Get out of there! American command is abandoning Washington!
— Roger that, "Center". Over and out. — He turns to the squad and barks. — Get in the Humvee now! Everyone evacuate the fuck out of the city! We're abandoning Washington!
Jumping into a Humvee with a minigun, "Storm-1" reunited with "Storm-2" and they, along with other lucky ones, drove away. Evacuating soldiers were visible everywhere, grabbing whatever they could and jumping into trucks. At the same time, communications with other squads and the US Army command were being monitored.
— All units, retreat to the MSR, we're leaving!
— Attention everyone! Command orders to drop EVACs east of the Potomac! I repeat - drop all evac points east of the Potomac River!
Along with the orders to retreat, many "Broken Arrows" are arriving. Many American soldiers trapped in the city, shelled by an enemy battleship and pinned down by the advancing alien lines. The only thing left for them was to point artillery at their coordinates in order to sell their lives dearly...
Raze and his soldiers, riding away from the city with the rest of their forces, saw the bulk of the dreadnought, which was shelling the already half-destroyed city. High-rises were collapsing like houses of cards, artillery wasted its last shells and also folded up... The aliens washed them in blood, but who knew that in a few years they would return?
End of flashback
Alexander twitched, and the obsession began to subside. The ruins of burning Washington replaced by a sleeping Canterlot, asphalt, blood and fatigue replaced by stones and grass. The smell of plasma and fires replaced by fresh air. He wiped his face with his hands. Looking at his watch, he learned that he had been self-flagellating for almost half an hour.
Sleep began to take over, and covering himself with a cloak and this time installing more psi-alarms, he thought that he must build kind of house. After that, he began to fall asleep. This time the sleep was dreamless.
To be continued.
From One World to Another.

Preparings and talkings
After sleeping, Alexander Raze decided to think about housing. After searching for a place, he finally came to a fairly open, and most importantly, according to calculations, safe place, the soldier began to think about temporary (or permanent) housing.
The very first thing that came to mind was to build a trench with a roof, so as not to bother too much, and build walls. Actually, even so it would be better than lying/sleeping on the street. Taking a shovel, he began to dig. After half a day of hard work, even with the help of psionics, he was able to dig a place for a mini-dugout. Now all that was left was the walls and the roof...
Quickly rushing to the outskirts of the Everfree, he cut down several trees. Cursing under his breath, he was finally able to make walls and a roof for his new home. The door, unfortunately, needs to be bought. For now, he'll have to cover the entrance with a rag and generously sprinkle everything with alarms and non-lethal traps... If everything is okay here, then about the work...
— Fuck... - Alexander sighed heavily. No door, no bed, nothing... and everything requires money. If he can somehow make a bed, just a frame and a lot of hay or other easily accessible material, then he'll really have to buy a door... In the name of God-Emperor, why didn't he die on this damned Flagship, and somehow got here?! He was used to living on a pre-arranged base, following orders from "Center" and Commander, and not arranging his life in an unknown corner of an unknown galaxy... Wiping his face with his sleeve, he thought that no one would accept him so easily, so he'd have to make primitive furniture, and give up on the door for now.
Without all this, the dugout was essentially ready. Well... at least no one would climb up to him so easily.
He decided to lie down, take a break from hard work, but there weren't enough materials even for a bed. After rummaging around in his pocket dimension, he found some tarpaulin and was able to hang it up with 2 primitive hooks, creating a hammock...
Finally, after suffering for a while, he somehow managed to fit inside his pseudo-hammock made of tarpaulin and decided to take a nap. It was unusually calm in the dream territory, some had just dreams, some had nightmares like coming to school and forgetting their homework at home. Everything was as usual, slightly passive and harmless. It turned out that it was pleasant to sleep on the hammock, all the warmth remained in the dugout, and the tarpaulin hammock itself could be closed like a cocoon. This made the sleep deeper, and the hammock itself was even soft and surprisingly comfortable, albeit in such a simple environment, but it was still a normal rest. This is what a person needs.
Having had a good night's sleep, Raze no longer looked like a squeezed lemon (even though he had a "burnout" from the war with the aliens, which he actually once said - he just wanted to take a break from all this shit). Not knowing what to do, he didn't even suspect what was happening in the capital of Equestria at that time.
Meanwhile, Canterlot.
While Alexander fulfilled his promise of non-interference, a quiet panic began in the Canterlot Castle hospital. It all started with the fact that a nurse came to check on an unusual patient - a strange creature, almost 2 meters tall, from which there was a direct "smell" of an aura of death and some military experience.
Actually, the creature was not in the medical ward. At first it seemed that he could have gone to the toilet, but he did not return either after 30 minutes or after an hour. After 1.5 hours, it finally became clear that he would probably not return here.
When the staff began a more detailed investigation, it turned out that the bandages were lying in a pile on the bed. What was surprising was that there was no blood at all, because wounds like this creature do not heal quickly. Unfortunately, no one saw him or when he left. Some smart ones figured that he could have left at night. On the other hand, then he would have definitely run into at least the palace guards, but the guards themselves behaved as usual, as if no one had passed by them.
As a result, they came up with the following picture:
1. No blood, but the bandages were removed
2. No one saw him until about nighttime. Evidence - the patient, according to the doctors who came to the ward, slept until the evening.
3. If he left at night, then even the guards did not notice him.
Actually, because of this evidence, it became clear that the patient left himself, at night, and even removed the bandages, while passing by the guards both in the palace and in the city. The situation was darkened by the fact that in the afternoon, a student of Princess Celestia herself, Twilight Sparkle, dropped in on them. And she came specifically about this creature... Do I need to say what happened when the doctors told her what was going on?
After that, Twilight Sparkle left the hospital, and after a while it was flooded with guards and detectives. Actually, it’s not surprising. Especially considering that the patient was clearly not of this world. Strange clothes that did not look like the luxurious outfits of aristocrats, nor like the tribal pieces of fabric of zebras... And he looked strange. In general, the creature is clearly rare, in Equestria for the first time, but for some reason and for some reason it escaped.
Returning to Raze.
Meanwhile, the man, having suffered from idleness for some time, did not know what to do. He needs to get in touch with a minimum, not to interfere with the canon... What should he do then?!
Lying on his back near the "house", looking at the sky, the psi-soldier still couldn't think of anything to do. In fact, the only thing he could do was to be consumed by his damned PTSD, received because of the aliens. The moment is not far off. when he will start having fierce nightmares and even some hallucinations, like those associated with the Battle of Washington... It is not even known what is worse - to die on the alien flagship sent into space, which was then destroyed into thousands of little pieces... or to be mentally and alive “raped” by his post-traumatic syndrome?!
Trying to think of at least something and finally decide what to do, the only thing that came to mind was to go to the lands of the griffins. But here again there was a problem, because it was not known how to get there. And in general: is the world made within the framework of the cartoon, or is there a layout a la "Equestria at war"?! He started cursing under his breath... Now he also has to look for a world map! Fuck!
Getting up from the grass, Alexander Raze started walking back and forth like a lost soul, trying to figure out what to do. A few minutes later, he spat on the ground, and walking almost without anything (“Lightly”, i would say), headed back to Ponyville
Having walked through the town, he reached the library in the oak and knocked. A few seconds later, Spike opened the door.
— Hello, can I come in? — the soldier asked.
— Hello, why do you need to come in? — Spike asked.
— I want to rummage around your library, and find a map.
— Ah... Well then, come in. — After that, Raze went inside and, looking around, began to examine the bookshelves. Considering Twilight's perfectionism, the shelves with books starting with the letter "M" were easy to find. Now all that was left was to find a map there, or an atlas of the world.
Where are you... Oh, here it is! Finally! - Alexander sighed with relief and took the world atlas from the shelf. Turning the pages, he found a political map of the world of Equus and... the psionic's face darkened. After all, there was only Equus! Damn! The soldier took a breath and then leafed through the book completely. There was definitely nothing here! Only Equus, where all the races somehow get along from ponies to griffins and changelings with the beginning of an unknown desert. It was a fucking failure... Putting the book back on the shelf, Alex weakly thanked Spike and left.
On the way home, he thought about this situation and was a little confused. And what should he do now?! Taking off his underwear and running was not his style (Russian joke, dont mind)! But alas, there was nothing left to do but go to the royal treasury and try to find the political centers of all states there, including small ones, so that he would know at least roughly where to go. Unfortunately, there was no arrow with three funny letters (Also russian joke). Then he thought that this was a stupid idea, and decided to hide until he was victorious. At the same time, he needed to not go wild, preserve his combat and psi-skills, and also find a way to return... to his native dimension?
Returning home, his thoughts about returning to Earth inspired him a little. The next time Eris comes, he needs to puzzle this goddess-of-chaos-as-a-replacement-Discord about this issue. Right now, he quickly made targets and decided to shoot.
Taking his plasma machine gun, he aimed and fired a burst. A small "trrrrt" and a hiss in the distance. One of the targets was simply turned into nothing by this burst. After shooting for some more time, he realized that he had not lost his skills, but it was better to train sometimes. All that's left is to find something he can do while the canon is scrolling in the background or until Eris returns him home to Earth.
Or he can set off on a journey across Equestria, and maybe even find some ancient artifact? Well, so what? Technically there is a chance, at least there is some hope for a return!
Along with the hissing from the targets, small chuckles were heard behind Raze with a very familiar voice.
— Captain, the enemy is in this direction!
— Destroy this direction! — After that, she turned to the man.
— Hello! I wasn’t expected, but I came.
Raze turns around with his weapon at lightning speed, and sees Eris.
— Oh, fuck you!! What if i shot you? — asked the psionic.
“Even if you don’t give a shit about it a little.” — he immediately thought.
— You understand that it’s better not to scare veterans, right? Even my veterans on Earth, for example, because of the same fireworks, thought that the war had started and started to behave as if it was ingrained in their subconscious! Although... — Raze spits. — You might not care a bit. Okay, tell me what happened and why you came.
— I came to give you what you lack! Namely adventures! So rejoice!
Alexander Raze snorts.
— Well, what the hell awaits me?
— Restoration of canonical events... In general... Here's the thing... Your appearance alone in Ponyville has already dramatically changed history so-o-o-o... You'll have to be a hero!
— Oh, come on! I was literally there for a few minutes, cosplaying a dummy from the third or fourth plan. Now if I had been thrown out right before the bugs attacked Canterlot, then the canon would have broken. And what's happening here? — Raze put away the plasma machine gun and lit a cigarette, looking questioningly at Eris.
After a while, he added.
— Besides, I'm "a little" unstable, remember where I came from, so handsome. I won't recover for a long time from the fucked up mess I had on my native Earth, so it's better for me not to contact the locals at all, otherwise I'll have an attack and start a massacre, and then what?
— As they say in your homeland - "we'll have to overcome". Because your appearance alone has already caused a paradox. Twilight, instead of meeting everyone, was focused on finding you...
Alexander twitched a little, as if from leprosy. — Well, I'm an unknown person, an unexpected asshole, it would be better if I died in this torn forest... Okay, and how do you propose to fix all this?
— Very simple and unnoticeable! We either need to completely break the canon by organizing genocide or "direct" the canon in its original direction.
— Genocide? Are you serious?! No, of course, you can imagine that I've gone nuts and because flashbacks and PTSDs have piled up on me at once, I've started a bloody massacre like alien made their Terrors, but one man is no warrior in the field! Of course, I can strike the Main Six right away to deprive the country of the Elements of Harmony at least for a while, but then Celestia and Luna will immediately roll me into the asphalt! It would be better to get here with an army, or even to destroy everything with nuclear weapons! But there are no portable nukes or strategic missile bases here!
As soon as Raze mentioned Celestia with Luna, Eris let out a small laugh of irony.
— Yeah-yeah... Especially remembering the first appearance of Luna, where Celestia was who knows where and when Uncle Discord at one point turns Celestia into stone...
Raze chuckles.
— It was canon in a bloody children's cartoon, if you take the point of view of humans. But here it could be different! I dodge some simple fireballs, and she'll bake me right in my armor, or drop a mini-Sun right on my head!
— Well, she can't control the sun...
— Well... let's assume that Celestia and Luna have screwed the locals over that they are “being gods”, but she must have some abilities! Or do we also dismiss the local alter-egos, read Daybreaker and the destroyed Nightmare?
— "DAYBREAKER" is not an alter-ego, but a schizophrenic nightmare of Twilight Sparkle... So-o-o-o...
— And we also don't take into account "alternate iterations of worlds", read parallel worlds, or in the case of humans - "fanon", do we?
— Since we are not in canon, we are automatically transferred to another world where the canon is “untouched”, so basically nothing is happening now... And by the way, regarding genocide, you can return to that tree again, get the sign of approval of the spirit of harmony for the armor and organize a crusade against the “infidel” apostates from harmony… (Deus Vult!)
— The “signal” for the Star Bearded Man’s group was deactivated, right? Or does it completely not matter here and you can get this crap a second time?
— As I already said, it’s like a recorded message. I just turned off the playback so now you’ll just get a sign instead of a full “vision”.
— Hmm, let’s assume we discussed the genocide option. What about fixing the canon?
Eris sighed a little with heaviness, from which her chest rose slightly.
— It's all here... Well, it's not that it's more difficult... Here the stuffiness begins, where you and I need to do everything from the "shadows" so that canon happens, because if everything goes according to canon, then you know what to expect.
— Hmm... wherever you poke, there's a wedge. I'm as stealthy as the Rainbow Dash being nerd, and genocide is too radical, although it will allow us to "cut off" this world branch to hell.
— As an option, you can choose the third option. How was it there?... "The greater evil... The lesser evil. I prefer not to choose at all and I choose to fuck cast iron!" so you can just get the hell out of here to other lands. Since this hasn't been canon for a long time, the map has changed a hundred times already. By the way, do you have it?
— I went just recently, the map was "canonical", where there was only one Equestria and some of “nations".
— That was the map of Equestria. There is politics here, so only the elite can afford a full map, but... Listen, do you have a geoscanner in your armor to make a map? I see you have a bunch of stuff glowing, but I don't know what it's for...
— "A bunch of stuff glowing"? What do you mean? Hmm, okay, by the geoscanner... — Raze put on his helmet and checked, but obviously there was no signal. -— There is navigation, but no connection. It makes sense, there are no XCOM or other countries' satellites here!
— If it's just a satellite, then that can be easily arranged. Although it will be easier for you to strengthen the radar itself.
— Well, yes, the radar will be more useful now, and if you want, you can grab the "world map" and decide where to go from there.
Eris snapped her fingers with a small smile and a yellowish stream of lightning rushed into Alexander Raze's helmet, but no special changes were felt, except that now you could scan the entire planet if you wanted.
Alexander Reyes flinched a little, because he was not used to these divine tricks, and saw that he could perform a scan, despite the lack of high technology. Having launched the scan, data on this globe soon began to appear.
The data flow was enormous, because tons of information were simply entered into the database, and along with this, a model of the planet Equus first appeared, and soon all the individual details along with the continents and countries that weren't in canon, but were in other works.
— Well, it'll do for the first time, I guess? I don't understand your unga-bunga-matics. But the fact that the planet has changed is already obvious. Any ideas what exactly it reminds you of?
Alexander chuckles with satisfaction.
— Okay, let's assume the world is built in a fashion for a computer game, but oh well. Actually, the options are interesting. The genocide of Equestria, probably with the locals being fucked, somehow correcting the canon on the sly, but this is practically impossible due to the lack of proper skills, and...
— So all that's left for you to do is build a dacha in a place where there is no canon and relax there on barbecues. I hope you can earn some local money? No one will care about appearance since everything has changed completely.
— I'll earn some money, at least I'll go as a mercenary. But I have one more question that I almost forgot about. Is it even possible to return me back to where I fell from, and if not, then why?
— You can return... But alas, it's not that simple... You know that the planets are constantly moving? Time hasn't gone anywhere, so even if you manage to return, you'll just end up in space... Or vice versa, inside the planet itself... The chance of survival after such travels without a normal point of movement is less than one percent...
— Hmmm... I don't want to feel like Shepard from the beginning of Mass Effect 2. - Raze muttered. - And what about... another dimension? Another world? It's obvious that despite the change or not of the canon, I don't belong here, otherwise I'll start emitting all sorts of shit like some kind of seasoned cartoon necromancer because of what I've been through and how much I had to kill.
— Well, here you can breathe a sigh of relief, because moving to other worlds happens more easily than to the original point. So you can try. Although for you it's probably even necessary? But it's still unknown what kind of world it will be... Otherwise, we'll get some dark fantasy-grimdark in the style of Dark Souls... Ugh... In general - "goodbye ass", as they say...
— And can't you choose a "destination"? Or is everything left to the will of the "interdimensional winds" - wherever they kick you, sit there until you die?
— Well, movement on the principle of magic works on emotions and wishes, so if you need to go to another world, then there is no direct choice. There is a "direction" where you can direct the movement. For example, you want to... Well, I don't know... Into space, for example... You're either going to Isaac Clarke and his buddies in the madhouse, or to something completely different. We need specifics!
— Hmm! An un-ironic fucking choice.
First - genocide the whole canonical Equestria to hell
Second - return the plot through stealth, but immediately goes down in priorities because I'm not an intriguer
Third - arrange a "vacation on Rublyovka" with non-canon, and let this Equestria fuck itself as it wants.
Fourth - adventures with transference across universes... the most likely, because it has no place in the world of ponies.
Fifth...? Oh, no, only four.
— What can I say - there is a fuckton of choices... - Raze clearly wanted to say something, but suddenly he grabbed his head and even knelt down. - Grkh... bitch, just not now!
Meanwhile, everything began to distort before Alexander's eyes, the grass turns into scorched grass, the smell of burning and plasma hits his nose, even when it is not there, and before the eyes of the psionic soldier it is no longer Eris, but the Etherial of aliens. Alexander Raze's eyes glowed blue-violet from psionics.
B-bitch! I HATE YOU! - after which Raze launches a psionic spear at the "ethereal", launches a psi-ball, and shoots from a plasma machine gun. Nothing was visible through the helmet (except for the blue-violet psi-glow where the eyes were), but it became clear that the man was hit by his memories, pain and problems with his head, which began some time after the start of the war with the aliens, and hit with the speed of a hyper-fast train and the power of a rushing freight train.
If he had stayed on Earth, he would have received psychological help, like all veterans of the war with the aliens. But he ended up here, without help, and even if he had turned to the locals, then the local psychologists would have needed help. To some extent, with the appearance of little ponies in the world, his timer started. And so, this timer reached zero...
Suddenly for himself, despite all the screams and groans of agony that one after another rushed through the head of the "former" soldier, he felt a warm, slightly fluffy hand on his cheek that with a little tenderness held him in place, giving a warm feeling of safety and comfort. Gradually, he felt another hand on his chest that pressed him to the ground and soon the fear along with anger and floating memories slowly diminished until his vision finally cleared up as if a veil of fog had left his eyes and as soon as Raze "began" to distinguish reality from memories, everything settled down a little and in front of him he saw a rather serious but at the same time calming face of Eris who looked as if she was very worried about the soldier.
— Are you... Are you feeling better?...
The princess of Chaos asked calmly and slowly, looking straight into Raze's eyes while he lay on the ground covered in cold sweat, but his hands, stiff from the attack, were still nervously clenching as if he were pulling the trigger. Howl hook let it be empty in his hands.
— Calm down... I'm with you... This isn't real... It's all long gone... You're here...
Raze lit a cigarette somehow. Smoking helped him calm down. Several minutes later he started to speak.
— Actually, that's what I fucking said. Someday these nightmares will eat me up. If it weren't for this conversation now, then there probably would have been a local genocide, or something even worse. Okay... Hmh, I didn't expect... fuck... - he sighs heavily. - ...such a turn of events from you.
— So it would have been better to leave you writhing in agony until your heart stopped from an excess of emotions?
— Yes! I'm a soldier who's already fought for humanity! And after that fucking alien Flagship I was thrown HERE! In the best case scenario, they would have methodically treated me for what I had suffered, like thousands and thousands of other soldiers, but because of getting into this shitty world of these shitty marshmallow-positive ponies... — the flow of words stopped, and Raze lit up again. He understood that he would spend almost all of his cigarettes, but he couldn’t do anything.
— Well, I don’t agree with this, at least here... Are you sure everything is okay? Can you get up?
Raze nods and carefully gets up, after which he calmly approaches the weapon, and sighing, reloads the weapon and sends it to the “pocket”. He doesn’t need it here yet, otherwise he’ll do something similar, and forget about it.
— So, it’s completely logical that I don’t belong here. All that’s left is to decide what to do.
— Although you can’t go back, I can help with what’s next... You have many worlds that humanity has invented, right? Is there a more or less calm place?
— Hmh…let me think.
“Lord of the Rings? Interesting, fantasy.”
“The Hobbit? Same deal.”
“Warhammer? It’s best not to go there at all for now…”
“Mass Effect? Better, but there’s a lot of bullshit with Reapers and other idiocy like the RGB ending. I’m not ready to go there, i need to prepare in another worlds”
“Hmh, what else do I remember there? No, no…HM! Star Wars?! Yeah, I think that would be a great universe to, quote: “get back in the saddle” and “put on your guns again,”. So it’s decided.”
Judging by his appearance, Raze has made up his mind.
— So, do you know about Star Wars?
— Empire, Sith, and Order 66? I’ve seen a few comics but I wasn’t hooked.
— Actually, I want to go there. The technology level is better there, and there’s definitely work for the skills. Well, and the typical man-boyish desire to have a pew-pew on all sorts of spaceships. — Alexander grinned.
— You can. True, the final destination here depends on you. Just in case, I'd better give you a little of my magic so you can move around... And talk to me if something happens...
— New perks? Hmmm, I like the new perks... Actually, when are we going to start?
— Right now... I sense some "magic" in you, I'm not sure what it is, but probably everything should open up soon.
— So we'll wait…
From One World to Another.
Author's Note
This chapter was fully made by myself, without the help of my fellow russian co-author, so it could be little strange and so on, ya know)
Im still saying, that you could choose 3 non-canon endings, where i could possibly continue the story - they wouldnt affect anything, but the story would be longer and so on.
1) Genocide of Equestria
2) (Sneaky) Change of canon into correct way
3) MC says "fuck this" and going on another continents, chilling or fighting someone (Some EAW-like adventures)
Canonical ending
Eris and Alexander began to wait for all that magical bullshit that they wanted to arrange to begin.
They didn't have to wait long - a strange ball appeared, which occasionally emitted discharges. It immediately swam towards Alexander. The soldier glanced at Eris, but she looked calm. Soon the ball swam up and began to be sucked into the man. As soon as it was sucked in, Raze felt a slight malaise and sighed heavily, rubbing his face with his hands.
— That's all, actually. You got a piece of power, and now you can travel through dimensions yourself. Well, at the same time, now you have a connection with me. Before you escape from this "saccharine-positive" world, I will share with you information on Star Wars. — said Eris.
— Interesting jokes. It seems like you didn't pay much attention to this universe? — the malaise seemed to have passed, but Raze still felt like crap.
— That's true, but I watched you and realized that your "imprint" was familiar. The same imprint exists in one of the variations of Star Wars, the one where the canon is broken.
— "Imprint"? What do you mean? A clone? A namesake? Some fuck from the mountain? — Alex still didn't understand where this goddess-as-a-replacement-of-Discord was leading.
— Actually, there is a complete copy of you there, possibly from another variation of your world, but it has no psionic powers. But it has other powers... that practically allow you to act on a fundamental level.
— Wow! Holy shit. — The psi-soldier whistled.
— Actually, your namesake is in a bad way right now, so I suggest "helping him." — Considering that Eris had put “help” in quotation marks, Raze suddenly felt scared for his namesake. Apparently, the goddess of chaos saw a slight change in his face after these words, and hurried to calm him down. — Nothing scary or illegal. You’ll just come and… move into his body, absorbing him at the same time.
— Holy shit! It smells like some kind of… obsession. — Raze shuddered a little.
— Well, obsession is about spirits and demons, and you, in fact, will come and merge with your non-psionic copy. At the same time, you’ll get those very strange powers. In addition, the changes in the body will be in your favor. And these are small changes in the brain, “Cadian eyes”, although I don’t know why they are like that, considering that this is a purely Cadian thing, the knowledge of the namesake… But, one way or another, you will be in the world of Star Wars.
— Okay... Okay, I was going there anyway. But I'll have to talk to my namesake... or I'll fit in almost without any problems, who the hell knows.
Now the fun part was coming - creating a portal. As Eris had said 10 minutes ago - you need specifics, where and where you want to go. Raze closed his eyes, and then began to work out in his head where he wanted to go.
As soon as he started thinking about Star Wars, he was immediately drawn to his "soul mate", the very one Eris had talked about. Alex immediately began to form his desire to move, and when everything was ready, he raised his hand and with the help of greenish-blue lightning, a portal was formed. And here, in fact, is the path to leaving here... Of course, Alexander was exhausted as hell due to the specifics of the work and the unfamiliarity of his powers, but he was happy.
Suddenly, Alexander's intuition began to tell him that something was approaching. Looking through the binoculars, he saw... the Mane Six running?! I wonder if they saw the portal? Exhaling heavily, Raze saluted Eris goodbye, then jumped into the portal and it slammed shut. Soon Eris "disappeared", not really wanting to meet M6
The Mane Six came running a few minutes later, and a breathless Twilight asked into the void.
— Where? Where did he go?
— Some kind of magic stuff, sugar. You should know better. — Applejack immediately "disowned".
— I think it was something like a portal, — Rarity noted.
— Maybe, — thought Twilight. — Of course, it's a pity that he left.
— He didn't like being here? Impossible! — Pinkie Pie said in a slightly sad voice. — It's even a shame, I just became friends with him!
— I didn't like him a bit. He was too suspicious. — Rainbow grumbled discontentedly.
— Well, that's a pity, of course. But we have other things to do. Right? — Twilight asked. Her new friends agreed with her, and the Six went their separate ways.
