The air between the two girls was thick with tension, Silver Spoon, ever the loyal sidekick, shot her a cautious glance, her blue-framed glasses catching the flickering light above. “What do you want to do about it?” she asked, her voice laced with hesitation. “We can’t pull the same stunt we did last year. We almost got expelled for that!” Silver Spoon countered.
Diamond smirked, draping her arm around Silver Spoon’s shoulders as they passed the school’s trophy case, filled with awards that didn’t bear their names at all as if to accentuate her point with her blue eyes staring into Silver Spoon with that signature death stare. “Oh, don’t worry, we won’t be doing that again. We’re going bigger this time. We’ll be smarter. Last year, we lost control—well, you lost control.” She jabbed an accusing finger at her friend, the glint of mischief in her eyes reflected by the glass of the display case.
Silver Spoon bristled, shifting under Diamond’s weight. “What makes you think I lost it? You told me to cover the cameras!” she protested, her voice a low hiss, nervous about anyone overhearing them in the hallway.
“And you forgot,” Diamond shot back without missing a beat. “Whatever,” Diamond rolled her eyes before continuing, “Spray-painting the walls to frame the Crusaders wasn’t our brightest idea anyway.” She rolled her eyes and huffed, then took a sip of water from the drinking fountain. School water wasn’t always the best.
Silver Spoon’s expression wavered, her uncertainty clear as she took a hesitant sip from the fountain after Diamond was finished. “Are we really doing this again? I mean, if they catch us doing anything, we could actually get kicked out of school.” She glanced nervously at the empty hall, her weak smile doing little to hide her fear.
Diamond’s patience snapped. In one swift motion, she seized Silver Spoon’s collar, yanking her close. The light above casted jagged shadows on Diamond’s face, “We are doing this. Stop being such a coward!” she growled, her voice low but dangerous. “Have you seen how everyone treats us now? In middle school, we were on top. But now, in high school? We’re nothing! Those seniors look down on us like dirt while acting all cool just because they are in ah higher grade! We can’t let that slide. We have to humiliate them. We have to destroy them!” Diamond’s voice turned into a fierce whisper, ensuring no passersby could catch a hint of their wicked plot.
Silver Spoon gulped, her nerves almost palpable in the heavy, stagnant air. She glanced around the empty halls, the silence pressing in on them. After a few moments of hesitation, she nodded, her heart racing. “Y-you’re right. We can’t let them keep acting like they’re so much better than us.” Despite her apprehension, a flicker of excitement crossed her face. As much as she feared Diamond’s plans, there was a certain thrill in reliving their mischievous glory days.
“But... how are we going to ‘destroy’ them?” Silver said with air quotes.
Diamond, ever calculating, shrugged nonchalantly. “We’ll come up with something. But for now, I’ve got some homework to cheat on.” She turned on her heel, her footsteps echoing once more as she strode down the hall, leaving Silver Spoon standing in the eerie stillness, alone with her thoughts.

The Cutie Mark Crusaders, once their easy targets, had come out on top in the last round of competitions. 8th grade’s contests had been particularly painful: while the CMC snagged first place in several categories, Diamond and Silver had barely scraped by with second. And even then, every trophy they’d earned together sat proudly in Diamond’s war room alone, never making its way to Silver Spoon’s house. Diamond’s insistence on keeping the trophies here spoke volumes about her pride—and her desperation to remain relevant.

Silver Spoon, sitting with her legs tucked under her, nodded in agreement. “We already have water guns, like you spoke about. So that’s one thing checked off the list.”
Diamond stopped in her tracks, a slow smirk spreading across her face. “You know what we can use for this? Hot water and Liquid Ass.” Her expression was deadpan, as if she had just suggested something ordinary.
Silver Spoon blinked, bursting into uncontrollable laughter. “Liquid what?!” she managed between fits of laughter. “What is Liquid Ass?”
“It’s a foul-smelling chemical spray in a bottle,” Diamond explained, her tone deadly serious, completely unfazed by Silver Spoon’s reaction. “Here’s the plan: I’ll go out of town in the next few days to buy it. No one can see me buying it around here. I’ll just tell my parents I’m staying at your house if they ask. While I’m at it, I’ll pick up some dark costumes for us and other supplies. We’ll grab our water guns, and then we’ll rain down hell upon the Senior Class.”
Silver Spoon’s laughter died down, her face now intrigued as Diamond continued outlining the scheme. “After I get the supplies, we’ll find out everyone’s locker combos. Who knows what secrets we’ll dig up?” Diamond’s eyes gleamed with excitement, already envisioning the chaos they could cause.
Silver Spoon’s lips curled into a devious smile. “It’d be better to start with getting everyone’s locker combos first. Spread it out, let the tension build.”
“Then we hit them where everyone’s watching during the festival. The night of the Festival, we can do the thing with the rotten apples.” Silver spoke, attempting to articulate the plan carefully.
Diamond considered this, nodding slowly. “We gain access to everyone’s lockers. Get the combinations, keep them to ourselves for a while. Then, when the time’s right, we strike.” Her smirk mirrored Silver Spoon’s, both girls relishing the idea of their newfound perceived power over their classmates.
With the plan solidified, the two sat back in silence for a moment, their minds racing. This wasn’t just about revenge—it was about reclaiming their status. Their Crusader and Senior rivals had pushed them to the background, but not for long. Once their plan succeeded, they’d be back on top by tearing everyone else down around them.

Silver Spoon, on the other hand, went out to buy black spray paint, determined not to repeat last year’s mistake with the cameras. This time, she wouldn’t forget.
By the time they regrouped at Diamond Tiara’s house, dusk was falling. The war room, normally a trophy-filled reminder of past victories, had transformed into a staging ground for their plan. Diamond carefully smuggled the costumes inside, making sure no one saw the contents of her bags. She pulled out the outfits: sleek, indigo-colored jumpsuits with sturdy, practical boots—completely different from anything the two girls would normally be seen wearing.
“They’ll never recognize us in these,” Diamond said with a satisfied smirk, handing Silver Spoon her suit. “And don’t forget, we need to wear thick clothing underneath to change our body shapes. No one can know it’s us.”
Silver Spoon nodded, already picturing the chaos they’d soon unleash. “Right. Let’s make sure we’re ready for tonight.”
As night fell, the sneaky duo crept out of Diamond’s house under the cover of darkness. Their parents never noticed—it wasn’t the first time the girls had snuck out, but this plan was far more daring than anything they had ever attempted before.
The town was eerily quiet as they approached the darkened school. Shadows stretched long under the dim streetlights, and the familiar building loomed ahead, now a silent and empty shell of what it was during the day. “Here,” Diamond whispered, her eyes lighting up with triumph as she pulled it open.
Inside were folders containing login information for every student in the school. The girls exchanged a quick, excited glance before taking out their phones and snapping photos of the documents. But they weren’t finished yet.
“Keep looking,” Diamond muttered. “We need the locker combinations too.”
Silver Spoon nodded, and after another tense few minutes of searching, they struck gold once again—tucked away in the back of a drawer, they found the list of locker combinations. More photos were taken, the girls moving quickly and quietly in the dim light.

It took some time, but eventually, both girls found what they were after—neatly organized folders with all the information they needed to ace the rest of the year.
They met back outside by the trees, the cool night air filling their lungs as they slipped away from the school, undetected. The thrill of success was electric between them, their hearts racing with adrenaline. They hadn’t even begun their main plan yet, and already they had secured everything they needed to bring their revenge to life.

During that time, the girls had a mountain of homework and school assignments to catch up on. Luckily, with the answer keys they’d stolen, they could breeze through it. Still, they were careful to make a few intentional mistakes on their homework, knowing that suddenly getting straight A’s might raise eyebrows.
The transition from middle school to high school hadn’t been something they were excited about. To them, high school was just a bigger stage where the upperclassmen stomped all over the younger students with their prestige and class. Someday, it would be Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon doing the trampling, they thought. For now, they were pleased with their recent success, steadily rebuilding their reputation through cheating.
During study hall, the two sat in the back of the large lecture hall, whispering to each other about about the senior class. The room was big enough that no one could hear them over the buzz of conversations.
“It’s hilarious how they all forgave Sunset Shimmer,” Diamond Tiara said with a smirk. “She literally destroyed the school and summoned some demonic powers, but now she’s like their hero or something. All we’re doing is getting back at these senior losers.”
Silver Spoon rolled her eyes. “I know, right? Sunset was a total monster. All we ever did was play some harmless pranks, but we’re the bad guys. Sunset cries her eyes out, loses her demon powers, and suddenly everyone’s on her side. It’s so gross.”
Diamond’s eyes gleamed with mischief. “What if we got our hands on that power?”
Silver Spoon raised an eyebrow, then grinned. “Next year. After those seniors are gone, we could totally pull it off. Sunset got her power from some stupid crown, right? We just need to find it after they graduate. Then we’ll be unstoppable without those stupid seniors in our way.”
“Exactly,” Diamond said, her smirk growing. “We’ll rule this school, and no one will be able to do a thing about it.”
The conversation shifted as Diamond leaned in closer, her tone lowering. “We’re only a few days away from the Halloween Festival. I’ve got everything ready. My dad doesn’t suspect a thing. And Spoiled Rich? She’s too busy to care.”
Silver Spoon chuckled. “My dad’s been out of town for days on a business trip, so I’m in the clear. We could still do the water gun idea, but what if we add Stink Bombs to the mix?”
Diamond’s eyes lit up with delight as she pulled open her backpack and revealed several small, taped-up packages. “Way ahead of you. I modified these stink bombs myself. Added some Liquid Ass, onions, vinegar and coyote urine to make them extra nasty. When we crash their costume contest, it’s going to be unforgettable.” She let out a wicked giggle, which Silver Spoon quickly matched.
Silver Spoon leaned back, satisfied. “I won’t even ask where you got Coyote Urine from. We’re still doing the rotten fruit thing, right?”
“Oh, definitely,” Diamond said, a malevolent grin spreading across her face. “But I’m thinking we take it even further. Apple Bloom lives on the Apple farm, right? What if we cover her in manure while she’s asleep? We already know where she lives.”
Silver Spoon’s eyes widened, then she burst out laughing. “That’s genius!”
Diamond Tiara cackled along with her. The plan was falling into place perfectly. With every detail sorted and their twisted ideas in motion, the two girls were ready to strike again—more malicious than ever.

At the center of it all, Pinkie Pie stood on stage, microphone in hand, her voice bubbling with that infectious energy of hers.
“Helloooooo, Canterlot High!” she cheered into the mic, her pink curls bouncing as she gestured wildly. “Are you ready for the most spooktacular Costume Contest in the history of ever?! Well, get ready because we’ve got ghouls, goblins, princesses, pirates, and—oooooh, I see a mummy! That's a wrap!”
Her nonsensical stupid rambling brought giggles from the audience. The atmosphere was light, and no one noticed Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon weren’t present in the crowd, for they had planted seeds that they both were too cool to attend the celebrations and were in the Crystal Prep’s Halloween celebrations instead of the “lame” Canterlot High “festivities”.
The two girls would quickly sneak up onto the roof with a specifically positioned long ladder. With all the buzz dedicated to one side of the school, they were able to sneak up to the roof easily.From their vantage point atop the roof, the two girls surveyed the scene below. Diamond Tiara’s eyes narrowed at the sight of the students, laughing, carefree, and strutting in their elaborate costumes. Silver Spoon, biting her lip, adjusted her slingshot with trembling hands.
“Look at them,” Diamond Tiara muttered, her voice seething with resentment. “Thinking they’re so special, just because they threw some glitter on a costume.”
Silver Spoon nodded, her face tense with envy. “Especially those seniors... they always win.”
Their frustration hit its peak as they spotted Sunset Shimmer, Rainbow Dash, and the rest of the group preparing for the contest. Their perfectly crafted costumes gleamed in the stage lights—Sunset as a sorceress, Fluttershy as a woodland fairy, and Rainbow Dash dressed as some super hero. The attention they received only fueled the girls’ anger.
Diamond Tiara smirked, raising her slingshot. “It’s time.”
Without hesitation, the first stink bomb soared through the air, landing with a shattering crack in the center of the stage. There was a brief pause, then chaos erupted.
“Ahh! What is that smell?!” Rainbow Dash’s voice broke the air as the stench spread rapidly.
Another stink bomb hit, and another. The thick, revolting odor of sulfur and rot filled the stage, rolling out into the crowd like a suffocating wave. Students screamed, some dropping to their knees, gagging violently before vomiting in droves. The thick stench clawed at their throats, filling their lungs until even the strongest of them couldn’t help but wretch.
Fluttershy’s eyes widened in terror as the sickening odor hit her, her wings fluttering uselessly. She covered her nose with her hands, stumbling back from the stage. “Oh my gosh! I— cough I can’t breathe!”
“What is happening?!” Rarity shrieked, clutching her hand over her mouth as her intricately designed costume—a flawless 18th-century ballgown—dragged through the splattered remains of a shattered stink bomb. “This is disgusting! My dress! Oh no, my dress!”
The crowd surged away from the stage in horror, students tripping over each other, desperate to escape the stench. Some collapsed, retching on the grass hurling the contents of their stomachs into the lawn, while others screamed and waved their arms frantically to clear the air.
But the worst was yet to come.
Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon exchanged gleeful glances and retrieved their water guns. Aiming with precision, they pulled the triggers, sending high-pressured streams of their vile concoction down into the crowd. The liquid sprayed over costumes, clinging to fabric with a noxious, greasy sheen.
“Ew! What is this?!” Sunset Shimmer shouted as the repulsive liquid soaked her costume, the once-glittering fabric melting away into a sodden mess. She frantically tried to wipe it off, but the foul stench of rotten milk and vinegar clung to her skin.
Fluttershy gasped in horror as her delicate wings, made of soft fabric and feathers, drooped under the weight of the putrid concoction. “My costume—oh no! It’s ruined!” Tears welled in her eyes as she helplessly stared at the soggy remnants.
Pinkie Pie’s cheerful voice cut through the chaos, still blaring from the speakers as she tried to keep up the festive atmosphere, oblivious to the mounting disaster. “And now, let’s give it up for the next contestant! Ohhh, Sunset Shimmer is looking a little... drenched, huh? Haha, what a splash—oh wait, what’s that smell?!” Even Pinkie’s endless optimism couldn’t cover up the horror unfolding. “Oh... oh no! This isn’t part of the show, everypony! Stay calm! Don’t... vomit on the decorations!” It didn’t take long before Pinkie Pie was hit with the rancid liquid, causing her to collapse on the stage.
Screams filled the air as students raced to escape the rain of stink bombs and the vile spray from the water guns from the two devious girls on the roof. Costumes, painstakingly made with love and care, were now soaked through with rancid liquid, ruined beyond repair. Students slipped in the mess, gagging and crying out for help, while the smell continued to grow worse by the second.
Applejack, standing by the side of the stage, looked up and spotted the two cloaked figures on the roof, slingshots in hand, along with water guns aimed at the crowd.
“There!!!” she shouted, pointing to the rooftop. “Up there! It’s them!”
By the time Applejack's shout echoed across the festival grounds, Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon were already gone, rapidly descending the ladder and disappearing into the dense woods nearby to the school. They thought they heard faint yelling behind them, and perhaps even saw people scrambling after them, but it was far too late. No one could catch up to them now.
As they made their way toward Apple Bloom’s house, where they planned to camp out until she was asleep, the two girls took a detour. They tossed the foul-smelling water guns into a random dumpster along the roadside, grimacing at the stench but reveling in their blame being deflected onto some other innocent person. The adrenaline-fueled run, followed by a slower, cautious walk, felt endless. But the high of their sabotage coursed through them, every step carrying the euphoria of triumph. They basked in the fresh memory of their envy-fueled attack wreaking havoc on those silly seniors.
Once they reached the woods near Apple Bloom’s house, the girls settled in, waiting. Earlier, they had snuck into the unlocked house just long enough to quietly unlock Apple Bloom’s bedroom window. Now, they lay in wait, biding their time in the shadows. Behind the barn, they noted their carts loaded with rotten apples, ready to be used in their next plot. The sun began to set, casting a soft glow of red and orange over the horizon. The picturesque fall evening felt like the perfect backdrop to their devious success.
Hours passed as they watched from the cover of trees, their eyes trained on the house. Finally, the lights in Apple Bloom’s room went dark. This was their cue. With calculated steps, Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon made their way toward the barn to locate the manure storage. Though the task was revolting, the thought of what came next made the girls giddy. Gloved hands filled small buckets with manure, their noses wrinkling in disgust, but the payoff would be worth it.
Sneaking up to Apple Bloom’s window, they tested it. It was still unlocked, just as they had left it. They silently lifted it open and peered inside. Apple Bloom was sound asleep in her bed, unaware of the horror about to unfold. Without hesitation, they dumped the manure onto her bed in one swift motion. The foul-smelling mass splattered everywhere, and the buckets clattered to the floor as they emptied.
A piercing scream filled the night air as Apple Bloom shot up, horrified by the sudden revolting smell. Lights flicked on throughout the house as her family awakened in alarm. But before anyone could respond, Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon were already sprinting toward the barn, adrenaline propelling them forward. They grabbed the carts full of rotten apples and bolted up the road, taking off into the night.
They ran as fast as they could, eventually veering off onto a side street to avoid any chance of being seen by Apple Bloom’s family. The carts glided smoothly across the pavement, the rotten apples bouncing lightly as they sped through the shadows. Whether or not anyone had managed to follow them, it no longer mattered. By the time they reached the main road, they were far beyond anyone’s reach.
Taking breaks along the way, the two girls finally reached Canterlot High School, sneaking through a secluded trail that led to the side of the building. It was nearly two in the morning, and the school grounds were eerily still. After carefully watching the area from a distance to ensure no one was around, they checked the security cameras—they were still painted over, just as they had left them. The school staff hadn’t had time to fix them after the last incident.
With no one to stop them, they slipped into the school with their carts in tow. They made quick work of their next act of revenge, targeting the lockers of the seven senior girls and the Cutie Mark Crusaders as well as whoever else they could. With each locker they opened, they stuffed rotten apples inside, the foul fruit filling every inch of space. Not content with just ruining the lockers, they also pilfered personal possessions, throwing them onto their carts to take with them. By the time they slipped back out of the building, they had left a trail of destruction in their wake.
Outside, under the moonlit sky, the two girls made their way to a hill overlooking the school. Exhausted but exhilarated, they took a moment to rest. The silence between them stretched for several minutes, both of them relishing the weight of what they had just done.
“Bump! Rump! Sugar lump Rump!” they called out, their voices echoing in the quiet night as they performed their signature dance. It was more than just a childish playful routine, now it was the ultimate symbol of their triumph, a celebration of the chaos they had unleashed.
As they stood atop the hill overlooking Canterlot High, the school bathed in the faint glow of the moon, the weight of their victory settled over them like a crown. In their minds, the night’s destruction would remain untouchable, the rotten apples and stolen possessions only the first marks of their rise to power.
No one could trace the mayhem back to them. They were too careful, too clever. As far as Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon were concerned, their victory was assured.
