Chapters That night Fluttershy was sound asleep in her bed when a strange noise woke her up. She looked around, but saw nothing but darkness. Fluttershy thought it was just her imagination, so she tried to go back to sleep. She then heard the strange noise again.
Fluttershy sat up on her bed. “Hello? Is anyone there?” She called out into the darkness. Rainbow Dash then appeared at the foot of her bed in her possessed red form.

AppleJack and Rarity then appeared on either side of Fluttershy and held down her arms. “HELP!” Fluttershy screamed.
“No one can hear you.” A voice from the darkness said. “I’ve set up a silence spell around this room.” The girl from the diner then emerged from the darkness.
Fluttershy looked over at her. “You’re that girl from the diner. Who are you?”
“My name is Aba. And I’m on a mission.”
“What mission?”
Aba chuckled. “I’m afraid that’s classified.” Aba then walked up to Fluttershy and tapped her on the forehead.
“What do you want with me?”
“To make you one of my disciples. But first, I want to have some fun.”

One year had passed since the events of the magic killings. The girls were finishing up their final year of high school and getting ready for college. Even the Dazzlings were exceeding with their education, and had plans to attend college while working on their music. The Dazzlings were no longer living out of a van either. Things were going great for everyone. One night Rarity was at the fashion boutique where she worked when she got a visit from AppleJack.
“Hello, darling!” Rarity said to AppleJack.
“Hey Rarity. I was just checking in to see if you were almost finished. I wouldn’t want you to be late for the party.”
“Ah yes, the final week of school party. I wouldn’t miss it for the world. I have just one more client to attend to and then I can lock up for the evening.”
“Great. I’ll see you there.” AppleJack and Rarity then kissed.
“Later darling!” Rarity said with a big smile.
A minute after AppleJack left, the final client came into the store. SHe had gray skin, brown eyes, and black hair with a red streak going through it. She wore a black T-shirt with a big red X in the middle, a red poodle skirt, and knee high black and red striped boots.
“Hello, I’m here to pick up my order.” The client said.
“Aw yes, your order is complete.” Rarity walked around to the back of the boutique and came back with a flowing, red silk dress that had a single shoulder strap that had a silk rose on it.”
“You must really love red.” Rarity said.
The client waved her hand and smiled slightly. “It is my favorite color. Besides, red is the color of passion.”
“I can’t argue with you on that.” Rarity placed the dress in a box with special paper to keep it clean and handed it to the client. “By the way, I never caught your name.”
“You can call me Aba.”
“Aba, that is such a lovely name.”
“Do you know what else red is the color of?” Aba asked.
Rarity tapped her finger to her lips as she was deep in thought. “No, I never really thought about it. What else does red represent?”
A super serious look then came over Aba’s face. “Vengeance.” Aba then grabbed Rarity by the throat. She lifted Rarity off the floor and pinned her to the wall.
Rarity was shocked at Aba’s strength. It was even greater than AppleJack’s strength. “What are you doing?!”
Aba placed a finger to her lips and shushed Rarity. Aba then kissed Rarity. As she did, Rarity began to feel queasy. A bright, white light began to glow in her chest. Rarity could feel it moving up her esophagus, past her throat, and into her mouth.
Aba then sucked the light out of Rarity’s mouth into hers and swallowed it. Rarity felt hollow inside. She could barely breathe, and she was so cold that she was shivering violently.
Aba kissed Rarity again, this time breathing a red mist down her throat. Rarity’s breathing returned to normal, and her body warmed up. But at the same time, dark thoughts invaded her mind. Everything that Rarity knew about friendship, kindness, accepting others, and love were drowned out by thoughts of hate, violence, and bloodshed.
Images of red, thorny vines grew all over Rarity’s body and her eyes became bloodshot. Aba then let her go.
“You are now my disciple. You will obey me at all times. You will not stop until you complete the missions that I assign to you. Understood?”
“Understood my mistress.” Rarity then bowed down and kissed Aba’s hand. “What is our objective?”
“We’re going to war.”
The party was being held at Rainbow Dash’s house. Her parents were out on a date night, but they knew that they could trust Rainbow Dash and her friends to not let things get out of control.
Everyone was having a great time. The girls got together and chatted a bit about their college plans. Fluttershy was going to study to be a veterinarian, AppleJack was going to study agriculture to find ways to help improve her family farm, Twilight was going to study astrophysics and engineering with hopes of getting a job at NASA, Pinkie Pie was going to study business so that she could open her own party planning company, and Rainbow Dash was going to college on an athletics scholarship.
The doorbell rang and Rainbow Dash went to answer it. The Dazzling were on the other side and walked in.
“Welcome to the party!” Rainbow Dash said.
“I’m glad we could make it.” Adagio said.
“Yeah, getting in those last minute exams was stressful. But we all passed.” Aria said.
Twilight approached them. “We were just talking about our college plans. Do you guys know what you want to do?”
Adagio smiled and placed her hands on her hips. “Oh yeah. We’ve decided to study acoustics and music to better improve our sound.”
The doorbell rang again. Rainbow Dash opened it to find Timber Spruce.
“Hey Rainbow Dash. I’m not late, am I?” Timber asked.
“Of course not! You’re just in time!”
“Great!” Timber said with a smile. He then stepped aside. “I hope you don’t mind, but I brought a friend of mine over for the party. His name is Cassidy Lee.”
Cassidy walked into the house. He had messy blonde hair that went down to his shoulders. Cassidy had blue eyes, with a soul patch on his chin. He had beige colored skin and his body was skinny. Cassidy wore a white T-shirt and blue jeans with sneakers. Cassidy had a slight smile on his face and his hands in his pockets. He gave off a “Super relaxed.” Attitude.
Timber led Cassidy around the party and introduced him to everyone. When they got around to the Dazzlings, Adagio and Aria waved and said hello.
Cassidy smiled and waved back. “Nice to meet you.”
Sonata however just stared at Cassidy. For some reason, she felt at ease around him. Sonata also saw what she thought was Cassidy’s aura, which was an orange light.
Aria snapped her fingers. “Hello? Earth to Sonata!”
Sonata snapped out of her haze. “Sorry. I’m Sonata Dusk.”
“Cassidy Lee.” Cassidy replied.
“I haven’t seen you around before.” Adagio said. “Are you new to town?”
Cassidy let out a slight laugh of embarrassment. “Yeah. I actually just moved here to attend college. I’ll also be helping out Timber part time at Camp Everfree for cash.”
“Really? We’re going to college here!” Sonata said with an overly excited tone. “What are you studying?”
“Acoustics and music. I play guitar, and I want to get better so that I can start a band.”
“Really? That’s what we’re studying!” Sonata said with a big smile. “My sisters and I are already in a band. We’re called The Dazzlings.”
Cassidy became surprised. “Oh yeah! I’ve listened to your music online. You’re really good!”
Sonata blushed. “Thanks.”
Cassidy noticed something in the corner. “Hey, are those Guitar Hero guitars?”
“You bet.” Rainbow Dash said. “I have every game in the franchise.”
“Mind if I play some songs?”
“Go right ahead.”
“Cool.” Cassidy walked over and selected Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock. He turned on the game and selected Through the fire and the Flames by DragonForce. Cassidy chose legendary difficulty and began to play. Everyone at the party was blown away by how good he was.
AppleJack stood in the back. The party was great, but she was starting to get worried about Rarity. She then felt a tap on her shoulder and looked over to see Rarity smiling seductively at her.
“Rarity? When did you get here?. I didn’t see you come by the front door.”
“I have my sneaky ways.” Rarity then traced her finger over AppleJack’s chest. “You know, everyone is distracted. How about we go and have some seven minutes in Heaven?”
AppleJack felt flustered. “The place is pretty full, Rarity. What if we get caught?”
Rarity giggled. “Then we will go out to the garage. Trust me, no one will find out.”
AppleJack was a little hesitant, but it had been a while since she and Rarity had any alone time. “Well, alright! Let’s have some fun!”
Rarity then took AppleJack by the hand and led her to the garage. The two of them then began madly making out. Rarity grabbed AppleJack’s waist and moved behind her.
“Rarity, what are you doing?” AppleJack playfully asked.
“I have a surprise for you.” Rarity’s eyes then turned bloodshot and the images of red, thorny vines reappeared on her face. She then grabbed both of AppleJack’s arms and held them behind her back.
“Rarity, what are you doing?!” AppleJack yelled. She tried to break free, but Rarity somehow had super strength. There was a flash of light, and Aba appeared.
“Who are you?!”
“My name is Aba.” She said with a sly smile. “And you’re going to help me.”
Aba then grabbed AppleJack’s mouth and kissed her. Much like what she had done to Rarity, Aba sucked out AppleJack’s magic and consumed it. She then breathed the red mist down AppleJack’s throat, giving her the same bloodshot eyes and red thorny vines as Rarity.
Rarity released AppleJack, who then knelt before Aba. “I am at your command, my mistress.”
A sinister smile came across Aba’s face. “Excellent.”
Back at the party, Cassidy finished playing with a perfect score. Everyone cheered and applauded.
“Cassidy, that was great!” Sonata said.
Cassidy rubbed the back of his head. “Aw, it’s nothing. I just really love video games and music.”
Rainbow Dash then noticed Rarity and AppleJack walking into the middle of the party.
“Hey, where have you two been?”
Rarity and AppleJack looked at each other and smiled.
“We’ve been…busy.” Rarity said.
Rainbow Dash put up her hand and smirked. “Say no more. Fluttershy and I also like to have our own private time.”
Cassidy then grabbed a soda and sat down with Sonata. They had a long conversation about a lot of subjects, including their favorite bands, movies, TV shows, video games, and tacos.
“You love tacos? I love tacos!” Cassidy said. “Hard or soft?”
“Both!” Sonata said enthusiastically.
“Me too!” Cassidy replied.
After the party, Cassidy and Sonata waved goodbye to each other. Adagio and Aria stood on either side of Sonata with smiles on their faces.
“So, it seems like you and Cassidy have a lot in common.” Adagio said.
“Yeah. He’s a really cool guy.”
“Perhaps a little too cool.” Aria said with her arms crossed.
Sonata was confused. “What do you mean?”
“We think you have a crush.” Adagio teased.
Sonata’s eyes went wide. “What! No I don’t. Cassidy is just very friendly.”
“Yeah, friendly with benefits!” Aria also teased.
Sonata rolled her eyes. “Shut up!” She said playfully.
After the party was over, Rarity and AppleJack stayed behind to help Rainbow Dash clean up.
“Thanks again guys. I really appreciate this.” Rainbow Dash said.
“Oh it’s no problem, sugar cube.” AppleJack said with a smile.
“We really don’t mind at all.” Rarity added.
After the girls finished cleaning up the house, Rainbow Dash turned to Rarity and AppleJack. “Well, that’s the last of the trash. You two should probably head home. My parents will be home within the hour.”
Rarity and AppleJack looked at each other and smiled. They then looked over at Rainbow Dash.
“Actually sugar cube, there is one last thing that we want to show.”
“Um, alright. Is it going to be quick?” Rainbow Dash asked.
“Very quick.” Rarity replied. She and AppleJack then turned into their possessed red forms and grabbed Rainbow Dash by the arms.
“Hey, what’s going on?! What’s wrong with your faces?!” Rainbow Dash shouted as she struggled to get away.
“They are my disciples.” Aba then appeared out of the shadows. “And now you will be too.”
“Who are you?!”
“I am your new master.” Aba then kissed Rainbow Dash and sucked out her magic. She then breathed her red mist into Rainbow Dash, turning her into one of her possessed disciples.
Rainbow Dash then kissed Aba’s hand. “My master.”
The next day Twilight, Fluttershy, Sonata, Adagio, and Aria all met up at the diner where Pinkie Pie worked.
“Well, that was some party last night.” Aria said.
“Yeah. It’s just very hard to believe that tomorrow will be the start of our final week of high school.” Twilight said.
“At least we will still have the summer together before college starts.” Sonata said.
“And I think I know EXACTLY how you will be spending your summer.” Aria said with a teasing look on her face again.
Sonata buried her face in her hands. “You two are never going to let this go, are you?”
“Let what go?” Fluttershy asked.
“Sonata has a crush on Timber’s friend, Cassidy.” Adagio said.
“The guy who showed up at the party last night? He seems really nice.” Twilight said.
Pinkie Pie zoomed over in a pink blur. “Did I hear that Sonata has a crush?”
Sonata closed her eyes and shook her head. “Can we please talk about something else?”
“Um, I haven’t seen Rainbow Dash since last night.” Fluttershy said.
Twilight thought for a moment. “Come to think of it, I haven’t heard from Rarity or AppleJack either.”
At that moment Rainbow Dash, Rarity, and AppleJack all walked into the diner. Aba was right beside them. They all sat in a booth across from the others.
Pinkie Pie zipped over to them. “Hey guys! Where have you been?”
“Busy.” Rarity said in a plain voice.
“Oh, okay.” Pinkie Pie then looked over at Aba. “Who are you?”
Aba smiled and looked at Pinkie Pie. She clearly liked what she saw. “My name is Aba. I’m new to town.”
“How do you know Rarity, AppleJack, and Rainbow Dash?”
“They have been showing me around. They are very friendly.”
“Would any of you like to order something?”
“I’m not hungry.” AppleJack, Rarity, and Rainbow Dash all said one after another.
Aba picked up a menu. “I am. I’ll have a cheeseburger, cooked rare, with a strawberry milkshake.”
“Coming right up.” Pinkie Pie then went to place Aba’s order. Fluttershy got up from her booth and walked over to Rainbow Dash.
“Rainbow Dash, are you alright? I haven’t heard from you since last night.”
“I’m fine.” Rainbow Dash answered. There was an emptiness to her voice.
“You know that I worry about you.” Fluttershy placed her hand on Rainbow Dash’s arm. Rainbow Dash’s skin felt ice cold.
Pinkie Pie came back with Aba’s order. Aba took a big bite of the cheeseburger, the juices running down her mouth as she savored every bite.
Fluttershy decided to walk back to her booth. As she did, Aba took a sip from her strawberry milkshake. She watched Fluttershy’s ass and licked her lips.
“Guys, Rainbow Dash and the others are acting really weird.” Fluttershy said when she returned to her booth. “Also, when I touched Rainbow Dash, her skin was cold as ice.”
Everyone looked over at the other booth. Aba continued eating her cheeseburger AppleJack, Rarity, and Rainbow Dash all had their heads down.
“That girl is giving me creepy vibes.” Twilight said. “It’s almost like…”
“Like what?” Adagio asked.
“Like the feeling of hatred I got from Killian.”
Everyone at the booth became silent. Even though it had been a year, they were still not completely over the murders that Killian had committed. Especially the death of Sunset Shimmer. But what really weighed heavily on them was the reason Killian did what he did. The girls made sure to use their powers for good, and to not get consumed by them. They also kept a lookout for anyone else with magic, but had yet to find anyone else like them.
The girls decided that they should probably leave. As they left, Aba watched intently as they left.
