Let me tell a story. A story... that'll sound familiar, will it not? Me? Who am I? Well... I won't give it away but I'll say that I'm... a survivor of sorts. A survivor of an erasure.

... Anyways. Let's start this story.

The moon shines out, ponies navigate their beloved night. A purple unicorn corrects his curly blonde mane before returning to reading his book. He had finished his learning under Prince Full Moon last week and was now making use of his freedom to read more educational books so he can understand magic as much as possible. He had originally gone to find a book about dragons for his little sister, a pink and yellow dragon he named Barb.

Yes. Barb. Are in barbed wire.

Anyways. Waning Shine, the unicorn, looked up at the moon before putting a book mark in chapter 5 of a book about magical execution and its practicality in everyday life. Waning Shine looked up again, his indigo eyes reflecting the moon's light as it reached its highest point. "Almost noon, I'm sure Barb's getting hungry and I'd rather her not eat my Moon Pie that I saved from yesternight morning," Waning Shine said as he broke into a gallop.

He eventually reached a rather nice looking house, for Canterlot standards at least, and entered the building, "Barb! I'm home!" He said as Barb's head pokes through a doorway, she ran up to Waning Shine and gave him a hug.

"Did you find the book?" Barb asked as Waning shook his head, "Oh... I was hoping I could learn more about dragons... oh well, at least you tried..." she added. Waning Shine returned the hug.

The two siblings hugged for a good moment before they stopped. Waning Shine looks in a mirror and corrects his white bowtie as he turned to Barb, "Barb, could I ask you to write a letter to the prince?" Waning Shine asked as Barb grabbed a piece of parchment and a quill. Waning Shine cleared his throat, "Dear Prince Full Moon, I am pleased to alert you that I am planning on moving away from Canterlot to both expand my horizions and get away from the busy streets of Canterlot. While it has been a blessing living here near you prince, but I desire a simplier life and require finding out why you consistently suggest I make friends. May we meet later. Sincerly, Waning Shine," he said as Barb wrote each word down.

"That all I need to write?" Barb asked as Waning Shine nodded. Barb rolled the parchment up and blew some dragon fire on it to send it to Prince Full Moon.

Waning Shine smiled. "Say, you hungry, Barb? We could go out and eat if you're hungry," he said as Barb got starry eyed, "Based on that look, I'd say you're hungry enough to like that idea. Well, you know the plan Barb, get on my back," he added, warching as Barb climbed onto his back.

The two walked out of the building and started going towards a simple café. Well, simple for Canterlot. Waning and Barb never asked for fancy lives but they got it by living in Canterlot. It was Canterlot, after all. A city most ponies wish they could live in considering it was the capital of Equestria and home of the prince. Barb pointed out the one café they favor, it's simple and offers gems to dragons like Barb.

Barb and Waning Shine got inside and had a seat. Waning ordered a simple daisy sandwich while Barb ordered several topaz, her favorite gems. Barb ate one of her gems before looking up at Waning Shine, "Hey, Shine, I wonder if prince Full Moon has books on dragons in his castle library," she asked as Waning seemed to become deep in thought.

"You know, Barb? I think I might have seen a book in there, maybe a leftover from some giveaway of them from being you hatched, no idea as I was busy with a whole bunch of literature that had caught my attention at that point in time," Waning Said in his casual tone.

As the two ate and idly chatted about various topics, they realized that it was nearing 1 PM and that they should go home and as they did that, they failed to notice the small part of Canterlot that seemed to glitch... as if it was normal.

Prince Full Moon sat in his throne room as he looked out. "I felt it, the fabric has started to fail due to two universes sharing some identical character designs," he said as a small yellow furred rodent with purple accents, two small purple cheeks, and a plus-shaped tail appeared.

"Full Moon, guessing you sensed it? The fabric glitching out?" He said in a voice that was both fluid and troubled.

"Indeed Brensle, I had. Prey tell, why had you come here at that? Was it this 'Realism's' doing?" Full Moon asked Brensle as he nodded. "So I assume you'd rather do anything else, fair. I'm going to make sure you have no reason to worry, I got a letter from a pony who had surpassed being my star pupil that saud he and his dragon sister wanted to move out of Canterlot, I shall have them move to Ponyville so they can help prepare the Winter Moon Festival and get the help of the ponies that shall become their friends, so worry not, you aren't needed," the prince added. His deep navy blue coat perfectly brushed and nurtured, his starry mane flowing to a non-existant wind.

"Thank you for the assurence, Full Moon, but I wasn't planning on interfering here until it is life or death if I do or don't. Don't want to suffer a similiar fate to DV!Brensle, after all," Brensle, BCM!Brensle that is, said before he teleported off.

Full Moon looked out again... nearly time to set the moon and raise the blinding sun... another night... it'll always be another night.
