“Pssst!....Tia….Tia!....sister!...groan…wake up you sleepyhead!”

Princess Celestia heard a voice while feeling something tapping her side. She was in bed and was sleeping for the night so she can have energy to rule for the day and of course raise the sun itself!

Celestia groggily opened her eyes, her voice croaky as she was brought back from her dream. She could feel the bags under her eyes as she struggled to keep them open..

What is so important to interrupt my rest-

That's when Tia noticed Luna on the side of her bed still poking her side. Luna was wide awake since she sleeps at day to rule for the night and move the moon…So as you could guess..good time for Luna…not so much for her sister.

“Mmmhmmm….Luna? What is it? C-Can’t..you see I’m Yawns sleeping here?” Tia said, rubbing her eyes with her hoof as she used her little bit of strength to slightly sit up on her bed as the blanket stayed around her cold body.

“Finally, you're awake. Well, Tia, I wanted to have a chat!” Luna said before giving a friendly grin. No pony could tell she was awake with energy since ponies have never seen her like this.

The white alicorn just sat there frozen, her eyes twitching slightly. Now her breathing is getting heavy-

“LUNA ARE YOU INSANE!?” Celestia said in her canterlot voice as the walls shook a bit. “It’s 11 in the night! Why do you want a chat now, especially since I need to sleep for the sun to rise‽”

Luna in response was trying to balance after Tia used her loud voice, she shook her head in nausea as her head spun. Then she composed herself and looked back at her sister. Tia’s mane also had a little tint of fiery orange in it.

“W-Well Tia, I never see you at all! We never see each other, can’t a mare talk with her sister once in a while?” Luna said while smirking. She sat next to her sister on her bed. Tia growled in anger, she knew Luna was up to something.

“Sigh..Tell me what you're up to Lulu? you're not usually this friendly..” Celestia said while stretching her hooves out. She then made a coffee cup appear with her magic.

If I’m gonna be chatting with her all night, I might as well get energy since my day will be bad with my (sleep deprived) self…

“Haha! Can’t a pony talk to her sister without being questioned? I just want to have a chat since we never see each other.”

Celestia took a sip of that bitter coffee before squinting her eyes at her younger sister.

“WHAT might I ask, do you want to talk about THIS late..” Tia said through clenched teeth. Even when she felt the coffee go into her bloodstream, her body was still demanding sleep.

“Make it quick..I need to raise the sun in a few hours..” The white alicorn said, accepting her fate, she wasn’t going to be able to avoid Luna’s (badly timed) chatting session.

Aaaaanndddd now Celestia is vomiting at the toilet as Luna stood next to her tapping her sister’s back as she looked away…

Well Luna tried to convince Tia to not try and fall asleep while she talked, so she gave her cake to make a deal. Tia accepted, listened to Luna’s talk about..well…catching up to see what she’s been up to and how’s she doing, then after a while ... .Even her alicorn advanced stomach told her she had passed the limits. So now she is getting all the cake she ate now…..you know….

“H-How did you eat so much cake that even your alicorn stomach couldn’t handle it?” Luna said while chuckling, making her words kinda hard to hear. Celestia looked at Luna with daggers, then spoke, trying to not vomit mid way through her sentence.

“Well LUNA, maybe my alicorn stomach wasn’t used to…I don’t know…EATING THIS LATE?”

Luna just rubbed the back of her head while looking away as Tia continued at the toilet.

“Come on! Cheer up Tia! Isn’t it nice to have some fun with your sister once in a while? Also….about that deal..”

Celestia looked up at her in confusion, holding back more in her stomach.

“W-What..? I thought our deal was I ate cake and- Hpmm…BLAAAAA. I-I listen to what you said..” Tia said trying not to pass out from all the cake coming out.

I swear my throat feels like all the walls of it are frosting itself…my stomach oh my me….

“Well…that was part of the deal, the other part is no you are forced to do something, next week, you will do an all-nighter with me! Isn't it great? Us two finally able to talk to each other again after being separated by our schedules!” Luna said while dancing on her hoofs like an excited foal as she squealed.

Celestia looked at her sister blankly, then without saying a word she turned back to the toilet, closed her eyes, and began hitting her head on the rim of the toilet seat, over and over again with an audible thunk each time..

Lulu…I swear if you weren’t my sister I would strangle you right now I swear to me…

“Cheer up Tia! It’s not bad at all, I hear you all the time in your dreams about how much you miss me and want to talk to me and have fun again like we weren’t princesses, so now I have the chance to do it! Why shut it down grumpy pants?”

Celestia slowly put up her head, flushed the toilet since her uh…regurgitation spree.. Was done. Then she stood up and looked at Luna, a mix of tiredness and sympathy.

“Sigh…It is true that I miss you Lulu….We never really see each other and sometimes I wish we weren’t alicorns just to have those moments again…FIne! I guess I’ll do the all-nighter next week, you know that will cause some sun problems right?”

“Pfft! Who needs that when you can just use some good coffee to keep you up in the day!”

“Groan. Fine, can I go to bed now?”

“Yep!” Luna chirped before vanishing in a flash, leaving a pretty tired Celestia.

As Tia walked back to her bed she noticed something, she looked at the clock, 6:30, the time when she has to raise the sun and do her duties for the day.

“OH SON OF A BI-”

I got this idea late at night while have awake...Luna is usually the Debi downer and Tia is the optimist, so my brain was like:

How about you switch their personalities?
