Dragons celebrate Nightmare Night
All around Maretime Bay, Bridlewood, and Zephyr Heights, it was Nightmare Night. It was that time of year where ponies gathered for very spooktacular parties, trick or treating, and various other Nightmare Night activities. But this year was a special one.
“So, what’s everypony’s Nightmare Night costume?” Pipp asked, as she and her friends were gathered around the Crystal Brighthouse. “I’ll start off, I want to be a scary pop star, because I want ponies to admire how amazing I am, and my Pippsqueaks will smile at me.”
Then Izzy was next in line. “I want to be a small jack-o’-lantern. Ponies will be excited about that.”
Next was Zipp. “I want to be a pony ghost, I’m so getting everypony scared when they see my costume.”
Misty was next. “I’m gonna be as a clown, but a good clown and not a bad one.”
Hitch came next. “I’m going to be a police pony with my trusted captain Sparky.”
Sunny was last. “I’m gonna dress as Twilight Sparkle, because I learned that Spike used to be a friendship adviser to her moons ago. Speaking of Spike, we’ve invited him and the dragons to celebrate Nightmare Night with us tonight. Let’s make sure that tonight is gonna be perfect and the dragons won’t have any Lavarynth trials after all.”
“Great idea Sunny.” Hitch said excitedly. “We need to put our Nightmare Night costumes on now.”
“All hooves on deck let’s go, go, go.” Izzy said and she blew a whistle.
“And one more thing, we’re turning the Crystal Brighthouse into the Frighthouse again just like last time.” Pipp said.
“Amazing idea Pipp.” Sunny replied.
Meanwhile at the Isle of Scaly, Spike was excited about celebrating Nightmare Night with the ponies, while Blaize, Lava, Jade, Luxxe, Leaf, Tumble, and Fountain weren’t too sure about celebrating. “Um, your Spikeness?” Blaize asked. “What’s this Nightmare Night holiday?”
“It was a pony holiday I celebrated moons ago, with Twilight Sparkle and her friends.” Spike replied.
“Yeah, but are you sure we won’t do any Lavarynth trials?” Lava asked.
“Yes. I want tonight to be the best night I’ve ever had since I was a little dragon living with Twilight.” Spike replied.
“Okay, if you say so.” Tumble said.
“Now come on, we need to get going. The ponies will be waiting for us.” Spike commanded.
“You heard him.” Blaize said as well. “Let’s celebrate this Nightmare Night holiday with our friends.”
Then the dragons flew off into the sky.
“Hey Spike.” Luxxe said. “Can you tell us more about what Nightmare Night is?”
“Gladly.” Spike replied. “It’s a pony holiday I celebrated with Twilight Sparkle in Ponyville when I was a little dragon.”
“Ponyville?” Fountain asked. “You sure do know a lot of pony stuff your Spikeness.”
“I do.” Spike replied. “I loved everything about Nightmare Night, the parties, the festivities, everything was spooky fun.”
“Sounds like you had so much fun.” Leaf said excitedly. “Or should I say spooktacular fun.”
“I did, but ever since I left the ponies and lived with you, I’ve never celebrated another Nightmare Night again.” Spike said, looking sad.
“Don’t worry, Spike, me and Lava went through the same thing together when Opaline attacked.” Jade said.
“And don’t worry.” Lava said. “We won’t do any Lavarynth trials like last time Spike.”
“Oh look, I see Maretime Bay straight ahead, and I already see the Nightmare Night decorations.” Spike said. “Get ready for your first Nightmare Night celebrations dragons.”
The dragons landed in Maretime Bay to see all the Nightmare Night decorations.
“It’s amazing.” Lava said.
“It’s spooktacular.” Leaf agreed.
“Wow.” Jade said.
“Just like you said in your story.” Fountain said. “What a sight.”
“It’s so beautiful.” Luxxe said.
“It’s fantastic.” Tumble said.
“It’s the best I’ve ever seen.” Blaize agreed.
While the dragons were looking at the Nightmare Night decorations, Sprout noticed the dragons and he and the other ponies started to panic. “DRAGONS!!! EVERYPONY RUN!!!” Sprout shouted.
The dragons noticed this and flew off to the Crystal Brighthouse as fast as they can to warn the Mane 6. “Sunny, you have to get everypony to stop panicking.” Spike said in panic.
“What’s going on? We just got ready with our Nightmare Night costumes and everything, and the Frighthouse is set up.” Sunny said.
“Hop on us.” Lava said.
“What is going on?” Pipp asked.
“No time to explain.” Fountain said.
The ponies and the dragons flew off to Mane Street and saw what was going on.
“Oh, I thought I got everypony not to panic.” Hitch said.
“EVERYPONY LISTEN UP!!!” Sunny shouted, and the ponies stopped panicking. “Now, let Spike and the dragons explain why they’re here please.”
“Thanks Sunny.” Spike said. “The reason why me and the dragons are here to celebrate Nightmare Night with you is because a long time ago, I celebrated this holiday with Twilight Sparkle and her friends, which is what Sunny’s dressed up as.”
“Not only that, but for me, Jade, Blaize, Tumble, Fountain, Leaf and Luxxe, this is our first Nightmare Night celebration.” Lava said. “Spike said for us to not do any Lavarynth trials, but if you ponies continue to do this panicking thing, then we’ll have no choice but for you to do the Lavarynth tests.”
“Our answer is yes.” Seashell said. ‘We will celebrate Nightmare Night with you dragons.”
“Dragons, dragons, dragons!!!” The ponies chanted.
“It seems that the ponies love us.” Spike said.
“We do too.” Sunny replied.
“Now, let’s get this Nightmare Night party started.” Tumble said.

“Whoo!” Leaf said. “That was something spooktacular.”
“Now everypony, let’s continue this celebration, with a roar.”
“ROAR!!!” The dragons roared out dragonfire in celebration.
“ROAR!!!” Everypony cheered on as their cutie marks glowed and glowed in the sky.
