Aftermath

After a thousand years, Tirek had grown old and small. That age spell he used on him and Scorpan wasn’t for immortality, it instead added over a thousand years onto their lifespan. He wasn’t able to escape as a giant 3-headed dog named Cerberus was watching over him and the other creatures that had been sent here. All the centaur could do now in his prison was think about all the ways he could get his revenge.

He loses his train of thought when he hears a commotion going on and looks up. He sees Chrysalis transformed into a dragon and breathes fire at Cerberus. The dog got out of the way quickly but was then slapped by her tail. Chrysalis turned back to her normal self.

He calls out, “How did you do that? What are you?”

She turned her head around to see a small and old centaur-like creature chained to the ground.

“All you need to know is that I am a Changeling.”

The dog got back up and was charging at her. She turns into a bird and flies all around the three-headed dog making him dizzy. She then flies to the door turning back. Using her magic, she opens them and escapes. The dog chases after her but soon loses her. He also loses his way back to Tartarus and finds himself in Ponyville.

He takes this chance to pick through the locks and escapes. He hid himself in a cloak so no one could recognize him. As much as he wanted revenge for what had happened, he was way too weak to start stealing magic. So he had to regain some of his lost power over time.

He takes a short little trip to Canterlot and sees Princess Celestia looking at a statue of a creature he had never seen before.

All he could hear was Celestia say, “Oh Discord, with your powers of chaos, you could have had the potential to do good for Equestria. If only you haven’t taken the side of evil.”

Tirek left afterward. A creature that can control Chaos magic. He remembered hearing something like that in some of the old stories that his father would tell him.

Some time has passed and Lord Tirek has regained more than enough power to finally steal magic from ponies. He starts in a small town nearby. This is also where he gets to truly meet Discord, the Master of Chaos. All the stories he was told about him considered him a creature of Pure Evil, but here, he is clearly too childish to be evil. However, Tirek saw an opportunity. He decides to manipulate Discord into joining his cause and promises him freedom. Although he was lying about this.

He eventually does backstab him and takes all of his magic. He even gave away the amulet Scorpan gave back to him. Tirek had never felt so much power. It was even greater than Alicorn magic. It was so powerful and crazy, it was almost uncontrollable. He still wanted all the Alicorn magic, believing it would balance the chaotic magic of Discord. As he left to go and find Twilight, he could see everything that was unknown to him before thanks to the Chaos magic. He could see life on other worlds full of magic and even his memories of Twilight telling him and her friends about the mirror universe. This should be what he does after he finishes his tasks here. He would travel the universe and the other universe and take all the magic from both worlds. He kept this end goal in the back of his mind for later. He would rather rule the planet he was on currently.

He finds Twilight and they battle. It ends with Tirek offering Twilight her friends back if she gives up her magic. This plan works and he grows larger than he had ever before. He was about to step on Twilight and her friends, going against his deal of letting them go, but they seemed to have run away. He wants to make sure all potential threats to him are snuffed out when he unleashes his new world order. So he tries to draw them about by going on a rampage across the forest, destroying trees and animals. As soon as he was done with Twilight and her friends, he would go to his homelands and destroy everyone there and make Scorpan watch. Then he could execute him as his revenge. This plan would never come to fruition as the Mane 6 unlock new Rainbow Powers that strip Tirek away of all his stolen magic and sends him right back to Tartarus. This time, he was in a cage.

Lord Tirek feels a lot of rage over this defeat, but he doesn’t give up yet. He was given a letter asking about magic from a little Pegasus filly named Cozy Glow. Tirek wasn’t expecting this. The next day, Tirek sends a letter back, refusing to help her. However, Cozy came up with the idea that if she helps him, she can help him get revenge on his enemies and trap them in Tartarus with him. This piqued Tirek’s interest. Using his telepathy, he is able to connect with her. He is tempted to help her as long as their conversation is kept a secret. Cozy agrees and thus Tirek teaches her how to drain all the magic of Equestria and to get rid of Twilight and her friends so that she can get what she always desires, to become a future ruler of Equestria. He turns her into his protege.

The plan nearly works until Tirek realizes that he would be trapped with the very creatures that he hates and are annoying. He only helps them so that he wouldn’t have to deal with them. Their plan backfires and Cozy was send to Tartarus for her crimes.

He and Cozy are soon teleported into a new location with Queen Chrysalis and King Sombra. When he meets Grogar, he realizes that the stories he had been told about Grogar and his evil acts were indeed real. He goes against the idea of working with others for his end goals. After they retrieve Grogar’s Bewitching Bell, he decides to fully bite his tongue and accept the team-up. He goes along with Chrysalis’s plan to betray Grogar. But in the back of his mind, he wants to betray the other villains once they are done.

The plan was all coming together, with him getting the chance to defeat the Pillars and all of Twilight’s friends. He took the most joy out of defeating Star Swirl again upon learning that he was responsible for Scorpan’s betrayal.

Before he goes against the Pillars, he decides to go to his home city to destroy it. However, once he arrives there, he sees it already destroyed.

“Hmm, wonder who did this? They saved me some time.” He thought to himself.

Upon seeing the Windigo’s return, he wants to get rid of them so he doesn’t get frozen. As much as he wants to let them turn Equestria into a frozen wasteland and take the magic of whoever is left alive, the risk of him getting frozen is too high for his liking. In the end, friendship still defeats them and they are all turned to stone. This ends the tale of the Power Hungry Centaur.

However, in an alternate timeline, Lord Tirek has succeeded in taking all the magic of Equestria and has destroyed most of it, including his home along with all its inhabitants. Very little life is left. Lord Tirek has won and is about to go through with his plan of double universal domination.
