Spike Drake has recently graduated from boot camp and is now a full-fledged member of the Alliance military. For his first mission, he has to investigate attacks on far-off colonies in Citadel Space. To help him with this, he's been given a whole ship and a crew to command. And now they rush off to investigate the threat. Most think it may be Batarians, but this doesn't fit their usual MO.
