Introduction

The alicorn realm. A place where alicornhood can be reached, and where space and time come together outside the realm of reality. It was there that two figures appeared from a blinding light. The princess of the night, Princess Luna. And her adopted son, Spear the hedgehog.

The two of them were on a mission. To stop two of their friends from arguing and bickering so much. It was Twilight sparkle and Rainbow dash, and for some reason, why were arguing about something that seemed to make them get at each other's throats.

While the two of them had arguments in the past, but this time, it was more intense then all the other times. In fact, Spear and the rest of the main 6, had to keep them separated till they cooled off so they can talk out their problem. Rarity and Pinkie pie kept Twilight at her castle, while Fluttershy and Applejack kept Rainbow dash at sweet apple acres for the time being.

So while the girls kept Raonbow dash and Twilight separated, Spear and Spike began to work on ideas to best help the two bickering friends. Spike then decided to talk with Starlight and Cadence on how to help the both of them, while Spear when to cantrlot to see the princesses.

After explaining the situation, the princesses thought that a different angle was needed to see the problem and solve it.

So, while Celestia when to observe Twilight and Rainbow dash, Luna had a different idea. "Spear, perhaps I know a place we can see why they argue AND see them in a new light."

Spear them looked confused, wondering what his mother meant by this. Luna then said "We can make it into Mother and son day. But I know how we can see them in a different situation while learning how to help them get closer to each other."

Spear them gave a look of determination and said "If its to help those two to not ruin their friendship, then I'm in. What do we need to do?"

Luna then giggled at her son and said "There's no need for the serious look. It'll be easy AND enjoyable. Why don't I pack us a lunch before we go? And possibly a dinner as well. We may be there for awhile."

Spear was once again confused as he saw his mother walk into the royal kitchen to prepare some meals for the two of them.

Which brings us back to the present. Spear looked around at the Alicorn realm, and was surprised to see it in all its glory. The last time he was here was when Twilight became a alicorn and his alicorn powers were unlocked.

He turned to his mom and said "Mom? I'm not sure I understand. Why are we in the Alicorn realm? I thought you Said that you knew how to help Twilight and Rainbow dash?"

Princess Luna then turned to him, knowing his confusion and said "Hmmm...perhaps either your aunt and I have told you about the secrets of the Ailcorn realm. It's simply more then a place where unicorns, pegasus, and earth ponys can ascend into Alicorns."

She walked to a specific spot and used her magic to reveal multiple doorways with different colors. Similar in the realm of dreams. "The Alicorn realm is a place where one can peak into the hundreds of thousands of other dimensions and timelines in the multiverse. Think of it as a nexus where one can view and travel through space-time without the limits of the dimensional mirror."

Spear's mouth hung open as he processed everything his mother said. It was unbelievable, having a realm where one can view different timelines and possibilities?! He then said "Mom, this is incredible! But, I have to ask, what IS the purpose of coming here?"

Luna then petted her son on the head and said "There are many timelines and different dimensions that have always peaked our interest. But, I believe I know of one universe/timeline that SHOULD give us a clue of how to help Twilight and Rainbow dash."

She then made her horn glow as the doors moved and then stopped at a lavender door. The door had Rainbow's and Twilight's cutie marks on them, but aslo a circle around them with the royal seal on it.

The door open and they saw two luxurious chairs were in front of a screen. Luna and Spear walked in as they got comfortable in their seats. Luna then walked up to the snack bar of the room and asked "Water or Cola?"

Spear then pointed at the water while Luna got the coke and she returned to her seat. Spear then asked a question that had him wondering, "Is there any noticeable differences between our dimension and the one we're about to see?"

Luna then put her hoof on her chin and said "Well, I want to keep a few things a secret, but I suppose I can tell you that the lands outside of equestria's borders are more...hostile. In fact, your aunt Celestia is a highly skilled warrior and actually keeps up with her training."

Spear's eyes sparkled and his sayian blood started pumping. He could never resist a chance to fight a strong opponent, even if it is family. "I would love to have a battle with her sometime! Is Aunty in our universe just as strong?"

Luna then gave a awkward smile and said "In truth, the both of us haven't had to clash weapons of war since the days of Sombra. I have kept up with training here and there, but I'm afraid Tia hasn't done training since I was banished to the moon. Which explains why she lost to chrysalis so easily back at the wedding."

Spear then sighed and felt sad that he would never experience that kind of battle. Luna felt bad for her son on missing out of such a experience, so grabbed a pen and Parchment and wrote a letter to her sister real quick and sended it.

Afterwards, she then grabbed the remote and said "However, beside that, out universes are similar to each other. With other slight differences that I'll save for later."

Spear, while still bummed about not getting to fight in a sparing match, was still interested on what other differences there two worlds have. "Well, what are we waiting for? Let's check this 'What if'!"

Luna was confused as Spear explained " Well, a 'what if' is basically what happens if the story took a different turn. For example, what if you won back when you were Nightmare moon, or what if Sunset Shimmer never left to the human world or even what if Twilight was turned into a changling, overthrown Chrysalis, and became a kind and noble ruler for the changling hive."

Luna then blinked her eyes and said "Exactly how long have you thought about this?"

Spear blushed and said "Probably more then I should. But there IS a universe where that has happened, right?"

Luna nodded and said "Indeed. However, I'll have to show you some other time for two reasons. One, we need to help our friends. And Two, ummm...we would need a lot of toilet paper. There's a lot you don't know of the changeling race."

Spear then blushed hard at what his mom meant and said "Let's just start and we can watch it next time, ok?"

Luna nodded and pressed play as the two of them began to watch 'What if Rainbow dash was a student of Princess Celestia.'

A little miracle

Equestria is one of the most powerful and most thriving countries the world had ever known for centuries. It had made allies with other nations and help to spread the magic of friendship far and wide.

However... Some nations regretted Equestria's friendship and saw it weak and easy to take over. Those who tried, were quickly shown otherwise. Anyone who tried to take Equestria, were crushed and offered a chance at redemption for their actions.

However, those who decided to destroy Equestria weren't shown the slightest bit of mercy. And were destroyed for their greed. All from the javelin and blade of the warrior princesses, Celestia and Luna.

After imprisoning Discord and defending Equestria from numerous threats on the battlefield, the royal sisters ruled equestria together. Till Luna's jealousy got the best of her for ponys praising the sun and shunning her beautiful night and she turned into Nightmare moon.

It was a different fight. Not only did she had to battle her own sister, but the reason behind it could have been avoided if she wasn't absorbed in the praise she got for her day. She knew that once this fight was over, she'll speak more time appreciating the night and Luna's moon, and appreciating Luna more.

Unfortunately, Luna was more skilled in combat while Celestia was skilled in magic. She knew this would be a pointless fight with Luna as she was now without a trump card.

Without a doubt, this was the hardest decision Celestia had to make. With tears in her eyes, she used the elements of harmony and used them to banish her sister to the moon. But before she was sended by the elements, Luna's true self flashed for a second and said "Tia...I'm so sorry."

As she was then sended to the moon and her face had enveloped the moon. Celestia then realized what she had done. She knew she had to do, but didn't actually want to banish her. She was hoping to purify her and get her sister back.

With tears in her eyes,Celestia began to break down and said, "Luna...No, this wasn't what I wanted! This wasn't supposed to happen! Luna, come back, please! Luna! Luna!!..." With no response, she looked at the ground beneath her and said "No, this can't be happening. It can't be... No...NO!...NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!"

She then cried over the lost of her sister, knowing it would be a very long time till she saw her little sister once more. Till then, she grieved over her sister. Wishing things could have gone differently.

Over nine hundred and eighty five years later

Equestria had been in its longest rain of peace in its recorded history. Nopony had ever dared to overthrow Celestia for her throne for centuries. As time passed, Celestia had dove into her role as a ruler, and made friendship her goal.

However, over the years, her title as a warrior princess had faded away and that knowledge was lost over time as she became the ruler of Equestria full time rather then a warrior. Only in books and legends dose the warrior princess lay to rest.

One day, she was visiting the school of gifted unicorns, one of her duties was to visit the school and see how they were running, she saw the most impressive display of raw magic she's ever seen. She went and saw that that it was the work of a four year old filly with incredible magic locked inside her.

Celestia knew it would be a crime to leave this much raw potential all alone like this, so she took her in as her personal student. She then saw the baby dragon and over heard the teachers wanting to cage it and use it for classes. This wasn't right. It was a living creature, and didn't deserve this.

The filly, Twilight sparkle, seemed to think the same way, and protested saying "Don't lay a hoof on him!"

Celestia smiled at the filly and said "She's right. This little dragon is a miracle of life, and deserves to live life like the rest of us. Using it as a test subject would be awful way for it to live."

The baby dragon smiled and hugged Celestia as if she was her mother. She then said "Twilight, can you hold on to him for a moment?"

Twilight's confused filly mind wondered as she said "He? How is it a boy?"

Celestia giggled and said "Call it..."Alicorn instincts". Now, I believe I'll need to speak with the teachers real quick and then I'll take...umm..." Celestia then realized that she hadn't thought of a name for the young dragon.

Luckily, Twilight came up with one real quick and said "Ummm, your highness? What about Spike? He WAS hatched when my magic Spiked after that weird boom scared me."

Celestia then put her hoof on her chin and said "That WAS a loud boom wasn't it... very well. Spike the dragon it is." She then Carried Spike up with her magic and said "Twilight, be sure to report to the castle first thing tomorrow and I'll set everything up so you can be my personal student."

Twilight began to jump for joy as Celestia left with Spike and the teachers followed suit.

A few days later

Celestia was in her room with Baby Spike in his crib as she saw him sleeping peacefully. After 'Talking' with the teachers, she managed to get them to not experiment on him and instead, she adopted him as his mother.

However, something else was on her mind as well. Ever since she heard Twilight mention a big boom that caused her to spike her magic, she's been wondering what happened to cause it.

She then heard a knock at her door and said "Come in Raven." The door open and a white mare with a black mane, glasses, and a pen and ink well as her cutie mark. Her name was Raven ink well, Celestia's number one assistant.

Celestia looked at her with a smile and said "Did you find out what caused the loud booming sound that caused Twilight'a magic to Spike like that?"

Raven nodded and said "Yes, I spoke with a couple of the guards on duty that day and they all have confirmed that a some sort of explosive boom was heard a few days ago."

Celestia then nodded and asked "Was there anything about the explosive boom that standed out?

Raven then used magic to look at her notes and said "Well your highness, i-"

Celestia stopped her and said "Raven, I know you just started working as my assistant, but please, call me Tia when we're alone. No need to act all formal when it's just us, right?"

Raven blushed in embarrassment, Clearly not use to Celestia's casual self yet, as she continued "Er, yes Tia. Anyway, one of the guards said that the explosion came from Cloudsdale and that the explosion itself was a rainbow color."

Celestia then thought about it as she thought out loud "A rainbow explosion? That sounds a bit unusual...unless..."

Raven then said "Yes Tia, I began to think that too. So, I did a bit of research, and it all matchs up with all the info I got from the guards. The explosion was from a sonic rainboom."

Celestia's eyes widen and said "A sonic rainboom?! B-But, I haven't seen a sonic rainboom since my fighting days a thousand years ago. Is it possible that another Pegasus as that same potential?"

Raven then nodded and said "It IS possible. I can send a guard to go to cloudsdale and-"

Celestia shook her head and said "No, I'll go to cloudsdale myself and investigate. I wanna meet this Pegasus myself."

Raven was shocked to hear this and said "But Tia! What about the day court? And your new son? Surely you can't leave him alone like that?"

Celestia then realized that raven was right. She DOSE have a brand new son to look after. The day court was fine since Raven can cover for her, but her son was another matter entirely. She then thought of a idea and said "Raven, can you let Twilight know that she'll be spending the day with Spike tomorrow?"

Raven nodded and said "When will you be leaving for Cloudsdale Tia?"

Celestia then walked to the window and began to lower her sun and rise the moon as she says "First thing in the morning. I'm curious to see this Pegasus myself."

Raven nodded and when to deliver the message to Twilight for the morning. "Goodnight Tia. Pleasant dreams now."

Celestia then felt saddened by the comment as she remembered the feeling of losing Luna nearly a thousand years ago. As she began to get ready for bed, another feeling came rushing to her hard. A feeling of loneliness as she laid on her pillow.

She actually dreaded sleeping, not because she's the sun princess. But because her dreams for the past nine centuries, have been...lonely. she was never greased by a certain presence.

Even if it was a nightmare, she would still be happy because she knew that...SHE was nearby, pulling pranks in her nightmares and teasing her afterwards. But for all this time... nothing.

Just a void of nothingness as she sometimes let herself be vulnerable to her. She didn't care if it was dangerous to do in that state, she just wanted to see her again. To hug her, to laugh with her, to play with her, even charging through enemy lines with her with her javelin and her with her lunar blade.

She then began to cry quietly into pillow as she said before falling into another torturous sleep of loneliness. "I miss you Luna...so much. Please...come home one day."

She then began to sleep, unaware that she was about to met a certain Pegasus that will not only mend the pain In her heart, but also bring back her sister one day.

Author's Note

And part one of the origins arc is complete! I wanted to make this chapter centered around Celestia and her point of view on not only her discovering the Sonic rainboom, but also her feelings about banishing Luna, and the toll it took on her. Hopefully I did it justice and I'll see you all in part three!

A rainbow surprise

As morning time arrived, Celestia woke up from another torturous night of dreamless sleep. She began to wonder if her sister was ok up there and wanted to check on her. But, she knew that even if she COULD get on to the moon, she would likely not be welcomed there.

However, her train of thought was broken by the sound of a certain baby dragon, jumping in his crib. Celestia giggled as she walked up to the crib, picked him up with her magic, held him in her hoof, and said, "Why, good morning, my little sunshine~".

Spike's laughter was enough to clear any negative feelings away from her. She walked with him in her hoof and looked at the moon. She then began to talk to it, or more accurately, to her sister and said, "Oh Luna, I really wish that you were still here. I'm sorry I haven't talked to you the past couple of days, but..."

She looked down at Spike, who was playing with his mother's mane, and said, "I've recently had a new addiction to my life. I've adopted a son a few days ago. His name is Spike, a baby dragon. Isn't he the cutest?"

Spike began to suck on the tip of his tail as Celestia giggled at him, enjoying her precious bundle of joy. She then continued talking to the moon and said, "And before you ask, no, I didn't marry a dragon... Even when we were drunk on wine after the battle of Dimond mine..."

Celestia then remembered on how she, her sister, and their comrades in arms, had battled to claim the flatlands from the Dimond dogs, who were trying to claim more and more of the land to strip of the gems that equestria needed for supplies.

Thankfully, their friend, Sonic pitch, had developed a technique to fire sonic waves from his wings to target the Dimond dogs hearing and paralyzing them. It is a difficult technique for most Pegasus nowadays. But for him, it was easy for him to learn and master.

Celestia (Having a reputation of getting drunk on wine) had offen wanted to sleep with her friend. However, despite being a princess, he never saw her as a potential mate.

There were a few dragons that offered aid to Celestia and her friends a number of time back then as allies. And while their friends were never into dragons in THAT fashion, Celestia and Luna on the other hand, were more then then willing to spent the night with them on multiple occasions.

She giggled at their fun back then and continued to say "Hehe, I often wondered what became of the Two of them nowadays. Hmmmm, I wonder of my Spikey will find a mare he'll like?"

She then had a somber look and said, "Maybe one day we can have a sister night out and we can fix our boud once more..."

"...Mama?" Celestia looked down and was given a most shocking surprise. Spike spoke. He spoke his first word...and it was mama. Celestia eyes watered as she began to say "Oh my son...you spoke your first word! I-I'm so proud of you!"

Celestia then Squealed in delight as she heard a knocked on the door. "Your highness? It's Raven, can I come in?"

Celestia smiled and said "Come in Raven! Something amazing just happened!" Raven then open the door and said "Is everything ok Tia? I heard a scream and-"

"Spike just said his first word! And it was mama! Ohhhh Raven, I'm SOOO happy right now! I just wanna cuddle him all day long!"

Celestia gushed on and on about how talented Spike was, till Raven cleared her throat and said "Forgive me for interrupting this precious moment of your life Tia, but I must remind you about your mission today?"

Spike then turned to see Raven, laughed and said "Raban!" This got the attention of both mares as Celestia squealed and said "OH my me! Raven, he's trying to say your name! He must love you too!"

Raven began to blush at the idea. She's always wanted to be a mother herself. But with this new job as the assistant to the princess, she never thought of dating was a necessity she needed.

Celestia then passed Spike to her and said "Mind holding Spike for a few minutes while I get the sun up and get ready?"

Raven nodded as she held on to Spike and the princess got ready. As much as Celestia didn't want to leave, she knew that she'll need to leave today at SOME point.

Today, she was off to the cloudsdale on a important investigation. She wanted to find the source of the Sonic Rainboom and meet them face to face.

After washing up, getting her royal attire on, and getting her saddle bag ready, she was off to Cloudsdale to find the source of the Sonic Rainbow...

but not before tickling Spike and saying, "Mommy will be back soon my little sunshine. Raven, can you please cancel the day court for the day? I have a feeling my investigation will take all day and I won't be back in time to hold any meetings today."

Raven nodded and said, "Of couse your highness. And I'll drop off your son with Twilight as soon as she wakes up."

Spike's eyes lid up as he heard the name and said "Teiwight! Teiwight!" Celestia and Raven gasped yet again as Spike spoke Twilight's name. Celestia kissed Spike on his forehead and said "See you tonight, my precious gem." Celestia then walked to her balcony, and flew off to Cloudsdale.

Meanwhile, in Cloudsdale

Cloudsdale, city of the Pegasus and in charge of all the weather based technology the Pegasus use to make the weather for the unicorns and earth ponys on the ground below.

And in the Cloudsdale flight school, a certain Rainbow Pegasus was warming up for her advance classes exam. Her name? Rainbow Janette dash. And she was getting for the said exam. If she passed the exam, then getting into the advanced flight classes would make her one step closer to becoming a wonderbolt! The most elite team of fliers in Equestria.

She was getting some stretching her wings when she heard "Hey look! It's Rainbow crash!"

The colt who said that was Dumbbell, the local heckler. He was also the local bully of flight school. As he said "Getting ready to fail tryouts again? Face it, your too young to even be a advanced flier!"

Dumbbell and his crew laughed, while Rainbow just looked at them in annoyance. Till she saw three shadows coming in close as one of them said "Hey, lay off 'Dumb butt!'"

It was her friend, a purple mare with a blond mane, Cloud kicker, followed by her other friends, Gilda the griffin and Fluttershy breeze.

Dumb bell got annoyed and said "Ugh, Cloud kicker. Why would a cool Pegasus like you hang with these losers and not a macho Pegasus like me?"

Storm kicker then rolled her eyes and said "If macho meant 'Having their heads in their flank' then I'll pass."

Gilda then cracked up and said "Ha! Good one Cloudy!" As she hoofed/ fisted bumped Storm kicker.

Dumb bell then said "Ugh, whatever. We're outta here. Good luck dealing with Rainbow crash!"

Cloud kicker gave a "Hmph." Turned to Rainbow dash and said "Don't listen to those idiots. I'm sure you'll do fine in the advanced flight exam. Sure, it's harder then the normal fight tests in regular fight school, but its nothing for you miss rainboom."

Rainbow dash awkwardly chuckled as Storm kicker mentioned the sonic rainboom. Not sure if she even COULD do another one anytime soon. However, she then thought, 'What am I worried about? I'm Rainbow Jennette Dash! I can do it again with enough practice.'

Cloud kicker then saw Rainbow dash smile and said "There's the smile we wanted to see! Now come on, let's get something to see. Hey flutters, why don't you pick the place?"

Fluttershy then got shy and hide behind her wings and said "Umm...well...umm...dose Pizza sound good?"

Cloud kicker smiled and said "Sounds good to me! Come on, I know of a new place that opened up here."

As the group of friends walked to the pizza place in cloudsdale, enjoying the sunny day they had, when Fluttershy failed to notice a weaker part of the cloud bed, and broke through the cloud floor. "Waaaaaaaah!"

Rainbow dash noticed Fluttershy falling down and said "FLUTTERSHY!!!" Rainbow dash jumped downwards to try and catch her friend.

Gilda and Storm kicker stood there shocked as Gilda said "Why doesn't Flutters flap her wings and slow her descend?!"

Cloud kicker gulped and said "She's too petrified to flap her wings, and even if she was flapping them, she doesn't have the strength of a full grown Pegasus to do it...and either dose R.D."

Gilda gulped as she saw two of her best friends fall to their doom, and helpless to do anything about it. Storm kicker felt the same way, hating herself that she can't do anything to help.

Rainbow dash grabbed Fluttershy as she tried to pull up with all her might. But, no matter how hard she tried, she didn't have the strength to do it. "Fluttershy...I'm sorry. I failed you..."

Fluttershy hugged Rainbow dash tightly and said "At least if I'm gonna hit the ground...I'm glad that at least I have my best friend with me. I'm so sorry Dashie."

The two hugged each other, bracing themselves for their final fall... until...

ZOOM!!!

A white blur then flew through the sky and caught the two falling fillys. Rainbow dash opened her eyes and noticed two things. One, they were flying upwards, meaning somepony saved them. And Two, that the one who saved them had a flowing mane.

The said mare, gently landed on a near by cloud and her small passenger were somehow levitated off of her and placed both fillys on the cloud she was on. "Are you alright my little fillys?"

Rainbow dash then looked up to the mare who saved them, and was surprised who it was. It was the princess of equestria, princess Celestia. Who was looking at them with a warm smile as Rainbow dash nervously said "Y-Yes your highness. S-sorry we landed on you while you were flying."

Celestia giggled at the rainbow mane filly and stroked her head as she said "It was no accident or coincidence that I headed towards you. I saw you trying to save your friend, but lacked the strength to pull up. You were very brave, if not a bit reckless in your attempt."

As Rainbow dash blushed apon hearing the praise, she then heard her other friends fly in, saying, "RAINBOW DASH!"

They flew in, making sure that their friends were ok as Cloud kicker and Gilda showed up and checked up on their friends as Gilda asked Fluttershy, "You feeling ok? Umm...anything broken?"

While Gilda wasn't the best at being emphatic, she dose care for her friends, even if she has a hard time showing it.

Fluttershy nodded slowly, still shook up from sudden fall as she said "Y-yes. J-just a bit startled. Thanks for asking Gilda." Gilda smiled as she saw Fluttershy return smile as well.

Cloud kicker helped Rainbow dash up as she said "Geez, you had us so worried Ms 'Rainboom'! But seriously, Don't scare us like that again you two."

Rainbow dash and Fluttershy nodded sheepishly as the four of them got into a group hug.

Celestia overheard the nickname and began to think, 'Ms.Rainboom...No. It's not possible that this little filly was the one...'

Celestia then then cleared her throat and said "Parton me, But I couldn't help but overhear the nickname. Is there a special meaning on the name 'Ms,Rainboom?'"

Cloud kicker smiled and placed her hoof on Rainbow's back and proudly said "Well your majesty, I'll be glad to explain. See, my pal Rainbow dash here, was racing at airway corner. And when she was about to lose, she poured all her speed into the dive, and a Rainbow explosion came from beside her! She also got her cutie mark right after she did it too."

Celestia looked at Rainbow's cutie mark and saw that it was a cloud with a rainbow thunder bolt coming out of it. 'Unbelievable...it almost identical to Aurora bolt's cutie mark... is it possible?'

She then used a spell to see if there is any magical residue of a sonic rainboom left of the filly. As it turned out, she was correct. Rainbow magic residue was around her and recently been activated from how active it was.

'There can be no denying it. This MUST be Aurora's descendent. And from I heard and saw from her courage, she has so much potential to be a incredible warrior...or maybe even be a princess warrior like how I was. I would do Aurora a disservice by not helping her reach or surpass her potential.'

Celestia gave a soft smile and said "Rainbow dash." Rainbow looked up to the Solar Monarch and gulped. Wondering what she had in mind. "How would you like to study under me, and I can help you improve your flying far beyond you can imagine."

Rainbow dash's mouth dropped and was left hanging as she heard the news and said "W-What? M-Me? B-Be your personal student?"

Cloud kicker, Gilda, and Fluttershy were shocked to say the least. Their rainbow mane friend, who pulled off a sonic rainboom, was getting personally invited by the princess herself to be a personal student of hers? They were excited to say the least for her.

Rainbow dash was surprised, but also wondering something as she asked "Princess Celestia? If I do become your student, will I become a wonderbolt? It's my dream to become one."

Celestia looked at her with a synthetic look and thought, 'Oh my little filly. As wonderful as it would be to have you in the wonderbolts, I have much better plans for you.' "I'm afraid not my little pony. I see you have much more potential then you realize. You can become so much more then a regular cloud factory worker. Or even a wonderbolt."

Rainbow dash was shocked as she thought, 'I can be much more then a wonderbolt? I've always wanted to join the wonderbolts...but the princess is wanting to teach me personally. Imagine all the legendary aerial moves she knows, all the tricks she can teach me...ugh, what do I do?!'

Rainbow dash then felt a large, yet soft wing on her back as she heard the princess said, "You don't have to make a decision now my little filly. This IS A difficult decision to make and requires time to decide."

Celestia then made a medal appear with her cuite mark on it and said "When you made your decision, head to cantrlot castle and show the guards this medallion. They'll know that your there to see me."

Rainbow dash then took the medallion as the princess turned to the edge and was about to leave. Rainbow dash then took a moment to make a thought and said in her mind, 'Wow...the princess has a nice flank.'

Celestia made a small blush, almost as if she knew what the filly was thinking and said "I'll wait for you at Cantrlot castle when you make your decision. Until then." She then flew from the cloud and made her way back to cantrlot before it was time for her to lower the sun. While Rainbow dash, looked at the medallion and to her friends. She was gonna have alot to think about.

Part 3 is Finally out! I wanted to link Celestia's and Rainbow's meeting with Celestia's past so it would make her decision of taking Rainbow in as her student more meaningful. Next part will be Rainbow weighting her choices. What will she choose? Stay tune and and have a great day.

Discussions and decisions (Edited)

As Rainbow dash and her friends sat in the pizza place, she continued to look at the medallion and sighed, wondering what to do. Continue to chase her current dream? Or take the princess's offer and become so much more?

As Rainbow dash thought it over and over again, her friends see her mental struggle with what to do.

Gilda, being the most straight forward of the group, decided to say "Geez Rainbow, you've been like that for the past hour. Just don't go if it's making your brain hurt."

Rainbow dash grunted and said "That's the thing Gilda. I thought being a wonderbolt was the highest honor a Pegasus can get. But then, all of a sudden, the princess herself offers to teach me and says I can go beyond even a wonderbolt?" She then moaned with her face on the table and said "What I'm I gonna do?"

Cloud kicker, seeing her friend drowned with worries then said "Come on Rainbow. We know this isn't you. Since when did YOU sweat the small stuff? Anytime there was a new challenge, you took it head on. I mean, remember when Gilda challenged you to see who could eat the most ice cream the fastest?"

Rainbow and Gilda chuckled as Rainbow said "Yeah, the two of us had headaches AND belly aches for a week, and you and Fluttershy took care of us till we got better."

The group laughed at the memory as Cloud kicker got to her point. "Well, the point is, you didn't think about what would happen then. Why are you over thinking it now?"

Rainbow dash knew that Cloud kicker was right. She NEVER over thing stuff before. Why should she start now? Then again, her decisions back then didn't involve the shaping of her entire future. She then looked at Fluttershy, seeing she hadn't put her input in yet and said, "What do you think Flutters? What should I do?"

Fluttershy squeaked in surprise as Rainbow dash called on her for advice. She gulped, but did say, "W-Well...if you feel strongly about studying abroad with Princess Celestia...then you should go for it. If it'll make you happy to be a wonderbolt instead, then stay...but, I believe you should follow your heart on what to do...like me."

This got their attention as cloud kicker then said, "Wait, what do you mean Flutters? You have something on your mind?"

Fluttershy nodded as she gulped and said "W-Well...I ummm... I want to move towards the ground and learn more about the animals that live there. After getting saved by the butterflies and spending the day with the animals in the forest...I ummm... wanna live with them. And care for them too."

This was a shock to them to say the least. Cloud kicker however, chuckled and said "Well, if that's what you want, then go for it! We've got your back Flutters!" Gilda and Rainbow dash nodded as Fluttershy smiled and said more loudly "OH thank you girls! I'll make you all proud of me."

After hearing her friends resolve, Rainbow dash came to a realization. 'Wow...seeing Fluttershy be bold like this...there's no way I can't do the same after hearing that,right?'

Breathing in and out, Rainbow then said "I've decided..." the others looked at her as she said "I'm gonna go to cantrlot, and be Princess Celestia's personal student!"

Her friends clapped as Cloud kicker and Gilda a high hoof/claw as a blue Pegasus with a black mane in an Apron, Named dough flinger, then said "Did I hear ya right? Little dash and little Fluttershy are leaving Cloudadale?"

Rainbow dash and Fluttershy nodded as Rainbow dash said "Yep, I'm leaving to Cantrlot to Study under Princess Celestia as her personal student."

Fluttershy also then said "And I'm leaving to the forest to learn more about the animals that live there and learn how to care for them."

As they said that, Cloud kicker and Gilda then nodded, with Cloud kicker saying "I'm gonna become a wonderbolt. It was Rainbow's dream after all. So I'm gonna keep your dream alive R.D!"

Gilda then said with the same energy, "I'm gonna try to be a delivery Griffen. After all, Griffens can travel much farther then Pegasus and are perfect for long deliveries. "

Rainbow dash and Fluttershy were surprised by the sudden announcements, but were happy for their friends all the same. Dough flinger then gave them a warning and said "Well, if your gonna leave Cloudsdale, better do it by Tomorrow morning. Tomorrow at noon, Cloudsdale will be moving to the north
And you know it'll be too dangerous to leave once we're moving."

They all nodded as Cloud kicker then said "Let's meet up at the edge of Cloudsdale in the direction of Cantrlot at noon tomorrow so we can say good bye to each other."

Fluttershy and Rainbow dash nodded as they took off to pack and tell their families about all of this. As they were excited for each other's next steps in their life's.

After arriving at her house, Rainbow dash knocked at the door. Her father, Bow Hothoof, Opened the door and said "Welcome home honey. How was training?"

Rainbow walked in and asked "Hi dad. It was good. Ummm...where's Mom and little bro?"

Hothoof replied " Your mom is in the garden, and your big bro should be back from work soon."

As if on cue, Windy Whistles and their son, Prism streak (Who is Rainbow Dash's twin), exited the kitchen as Prism said "Oh. Hey baby Sis. How was training?"

Rainbow dash got a bit annoyed and said "Hmph. Oh please, we both know I'm the older twin. Just because your bigger, doesn't mean your older."

Prism rolled his eyes, smiled, and got his sister in for a noogie and said "You may be older, but I'll still be bigger sis! Noogie,Noggie,Noggie!"

Rainbow dash began to laugh and said, "Hahaha, bro, cut it out! You goober!"

Prism smirked when she called him that and said "A goober am I? Ok sis, you asked for it!"

Rainbow dash realized too late her mistake as she said "No, bro, Don't do it! I warn you, I'll pee on you if you do it!"

Giving off a playfully evil smirk, Prism said "A extra bath will be worth it in my opinion. Now, for my Tickle attack!"

Prism then tickled Rainbow on her belly as Rainbow blushed and laughed like crazy, trying to gasp for air as she said, "Y-You HAHAHAHA! I-I'm gonna- HAHAHAHAHAAA!!!"

Rainbow's warning was lost in her laughter as Prism continued his assault. Rainbow began to regret having that large soda at the pizzeria, as she felt like her bladder was at the brink.

However, despite her best efforts, she failed to get free on time. As a warm liquid was felt on Prisms leg, and Rainbow dash blushed hard as she got up.

Prism then had a guilty look on his face as he said "Sorry about that sis. Guess I when too far."

Rainbow dash rubbed Prism's shoulder and said "It's ok bro. This happens sometimes."

Rainbow dash then remembered what she wanted to say and said "OH right! I forgot to mention, something incredible happened today!"

This got everypony's attention as Rainbow dash told what happened and showed the medallion Celestia gave her, and told them that she wanted to go to cantelot to learn from the princess herself.

Bow Hothoof then began to say "You want...to go to cantrlot...and be Celestia's personal student?"

Rainbow dash nodded nervously. Was her parents mad at her for accepting this without telling them first?

Rainbow's parents then shot out big smiles and said " Our little filly has been taken in by the princess to be best flyer in Equestria!"

Prism also smiled and said "Wow, way to go sis! Your gonna be under The princesses tutelage AND learn flying moves not even the wonderbolts know! Wow! I'm SO jealous now!"

Rainbow smirked and said "Says the future wonderbolt Reserve member. Seriously, once your old enough, you'll be in the wonderbolts reserves. Thanks to wind rider giving you a scholarship to be a wonderbolt after your performance in the young flyers competition as their youngest flyer in the history of the competition."

Prism smiled at the praise her sister gave him as they hugged. But immediately back off each other when the smell reached their muzzles.

Windy then asked Rainbow dash in a concerned tone. "Sweetie, when DO you have to leave for cantrlot?"

Rainbow dash knew that this question had to come sooner or later, gulped and said "Well...I want to go as soon as possible so...I wanna go first thing tomorrow."

Windy and Prism gulped at the opinion as Bow then walked up and said "Well, I think Tomorrow is the only time she has left to go at the moment."

Prism then looked at his dad confused and said "Why dad? Is something happening?"

Bow then explained that Cloudsale was moving north tomorrow and how it would be too dangerous to try and leave while the city was moving.

Windy was a worried about how her daughter was gonna go to cantrlot without anypony guiding her.

But surprisingly, it was Prism who said "You know, maybe Rainbow SHOULD go. I mean, there are clouds she can land on to rest AND where Cloudsdale is now would be the easiest for her to get to cantrlot. I have confidence that big sis can do it."

Rainbow was surprised that for the first time, Prism called her big sis. She smiled and said "Thanks for having confidence in my little bro. But I'm not sure mom and dad will-" "Of course you can go tomorrow."

Rainbow turned as her parents told her she can go on her own. Rainbow was even more surprised that her parents gave the ok as Windy said "Honey, we've always taught you to always reach for the stars, because we've always believed in your potential."

Bow followed up by saying "And we've told you that life has many paths that you can fly in. And now, a new path has opened to you. And we all believe you have what it takes to be Celestia's personal student."

Rainbow smiled as she hugged her parents in excitement. Which was a mistake as they smelled her as Windy said "Well, before you go to Cantrlot, you'll need a bath young filly. Don't need to smell like pee in front of the princess, right?"

Rainbow dash blushed as she went to take a bath and head to bed.

In her bed room, Rainbow dash was packed up and ready for tomorrow. Tomorrow was the start of her brand new life. Of course, the excitement and nerves in her stomach made her unable to sleep as well.

However, she then heard the door open and Prism's head popped out and asked "Hey sis. You awake?"

Rainbow dash turned and saw her brother at the door and said "Yeah bro, I'm awake. I can't sleep. Tomorrow I'm going to cantrlot. And I'm likely gonna have to stay there. I guess you can say that...I'm kinda scared of moving out and leaving you guys."

Prism walked up to her bed with a sympathetic look and said "Yeah, I can imagine. I'll be moving to the wonderbolt academy soon, and I was worried how you feel with me being gone...guess the horseshoes on the other hoof now, huh?"

Rainbow dash then scooded and lifed some of her blankets and said "Wanna sleep with me one last time before I leave tomorrow?"

Prism smiled and crawled into bed with her. He snuggled onto her as he wrapped his forearms on her and said "I'm really gonna miss you Dashie. Both you and Fluttershy."

Rainbow dash then smiled sympathetically and said "Sorry you never confessed your love for her. I was sure you two were gonna hit it off."

Prism smiled back and said "It's ok. I don't see it as I failed completely. Maybe one day me and her will be together. But for now, I'm gonna enjoy this moment with you."

Rainbow smiled and said "That's my little gem." She then leaned up and gave him a kiss on the check. Rainbow dash wouldn't show this level of affection to anypony, except for Fluttershy and Cloud kicker. However, for her little brother, she was willing to lower her guard and show him that affection out of sibling love.

After her kiss, they snuggled each other as they fell asleep. Enjoying one last night together before the big move.

And that was part 4! Also, surprised about Rainbow's Twin? I thought that since Twilight had Shining armor as her older brother, I would gave Rainbow dash a slightly younger twin. Taking off to new horizons

As Celestia flew to the castle, her mind kept thinking about Rainbow dash and her Rainbow magic that she had. She never imagined that she would find one of the descendants of some of her oldest friends.

Aurora bow, one of Celestia and Luna's closest fillyhood friends, was a Pegasus that loved to life on the edge. When Celestia and Luna were still trainees under Starswirl the bearded, Aurora was a mercenary for hire. She was known as the Rainbow slayer in some circles, and one of the most promising mercenaries for her age.

On one job however, she got injured while taking out a mark for a client. Her wing was broken and was losing alot of blood in the process.

She fainted outside of Star swirls home, which catches his attention and brings her inside to treat her wounds. A teenage Celestia and Luna overheard the noise and wanted to help patch her up.

While she was recovering, Aurora spent time with Celestia and Luna during her time there and became good friends with them. After she healed, She asked if she can be Star swirl's body guard as thanks for helping her.

Star swirl then offered another deal and said, "As kind and noble as your offer is, I think it would be better if you became Celestia AND Luna's personal guard. The cosmos above knows i can't keep up with them anymore."

She then nodded as the three of them hugged in joy. Some of the things that got them close was that Aurora enjoyed looking at the night sky with Luna, and she loved to spar with Aurora in combat to learn new moves and improve on her old ones.

With Celestia, she had a love of reading that Celestia inherented from her, and Celestia introduced her to her love for sweets. Especially sweet, fluffy, delicious, cake.

One thing they all bonded with each other was their love for pranks. They would prank each other without remorse, and upped the anty with each prank.

And, along the way, they made other life long friends too. A side from Aurora bow and Sonic pitch, there was also Scorch blazer. A red unicorn with orange and red colored mane who specializes in fire magic and fire spells, Crystal geo, a beautiful blue unicorn with a gorgeous purple mane, who has a fondness for gems and fashion, Timber lake, a half earth pony half dragon who loved nature and was a surprisingly good swimmer, farmer, and friendly pony/dragon hybrid. It was a grand fillyhood for them to say the least with this group together.

However one day, Star swirl, his friends, and his assistant, vanished from existence without warning. This saddened Celestia and Luna a lot, as he was like a father to them. And having no way to contact him, the royal sisters and their friends, decided to protect equestria and all the ponys that live in her. No matter what the sacrifice was...

Celestia shook her head as she returned to the castle. Walking to her chambers, when she heard a familiar giggle. "Mama, mama!"

She turned to see Spike on Raven's back and smiled as she said "Why hello my little sunshine. Did my bundle of joy behave today?"

Spike laughed and giggled as Celestia cradled him in her hoof and asked Raven, "So, how was the castle without me? I imagine you handled everything while I was away?"

Raven nodded, giving out a small smile as she said "Yes Tia, everything was in order. Except for three things of interest."

Celestia then looked annoyed at, not at Raven, but at the potential problems Raven mentioned. "Ok, what happened while I was gone?"

Raven pushed her glasses up and read through her notes and said "Well, to start off on a more lighter note,Twilight and Spike had a exciting day together. Twilight couldn't stop hugging him."

Celestia smiled that Twilight and Spike are getting along great. It also warmed her heart. A feeling that she hadn't felt In a long time.

Raven then looked through her notes and said "Well, Silverbit wanted to have a summons with you on the taxes in cantrlot and Coltarado."

Celestia rolled her eyes at the mention of Silverbit. She normally had respect for most noble stallions and mares that served in the day court with her.

But Silverbit wasn't like the rest of the nobles. He had a picture perfect image in the political world. However, he was in reality, a greedy,selfish, and sometimes a tunneled versioned fool.

He's also been rumored to make deals with the criminal underworld and Mafias in massive cities like Coltarado, Manehattan, and cantrlot.

In truth, Celestia couldn't stand Silverbit. She hopes that one day, she can find a good reason to kick him out of the day court without her subjects thinking she's a task master.

Celestia groaned in distaste. As much has she didn't want to, she had to hear him out. "Fine. Make a appointment for tomorrow then. The sooner he's out of our manes, the better. And what was the last thing?"

Raven gulped at this last but of info. Not knowing how she will take it. "Ummm...well, according to your investigation team...There's some suspicious activity coming from northern forest sector. To be more specific, from Golden Crests castle."

Celestia then looked worried. She had taken a liking to Golden Crest for awhile now. Despite being Silverbit's younger brother, Golden was far more likable and respected then Silverbit.

So to hear that his castle has been having suspicious activity as of late was concerning, but not to personally investigate yet. She was certain that Golden Crest could handle whatever is going on for now.

"Have Clue finder alert me if anything changes. I have faith that Golden has things covered for now." Celestia said calmly. Not wanting for Raven to be worried on her behave.

Raven nodded as she wrote down Celestia's request. She then asked "Celestia, I have to ask, how was your investigation in Cloudsdale? Did you find the source of the Sonic rainboom?"

Celestia nodded and explained her findings as this surprised Raven as she says "Celestia, I'm surprised your willing to take another student under your wing. But are you sure it's wise to do this? The cantrlot elite will probably have a problem with this, considering-"

"Hmph, let those snobs think as they will. I see potential in Rainbow dash to be a great defender for equestria. And to wield one of the elements of harmony." Celestia said, confidence in her decision in making Rainbow dash her student.

Raven, still having questions, then asked "But,what about Twilight? Won't she feel like she's getting replaced as your personal student?"

Celestia shook her head as she explained, "Twilight and Rainbow dash are prodigious in their own talents. Twilight has the potential to be one of the most powerful unicorns in equestria. While Rainbow's flying skills has the potential to rival the best aerial fighters in equestrian history. I'm sure the two of them will be an incredible team in the future."

Raven was a bit worried about this move on Celestia's part, as she then remembered, "Celestia, this won't end up like with what happened with Ms.Sunset, will it? I know I wasn't around for those events, but-"

Celestia then felt a heart break as she recalled those memories of her first student in centuries. She should have been more supportive and helpful to her rather then shooting down her endeavors because she was too busy at the time.

She felt a tear from her eyes and said "I won't let that happen. I regret my actions back then, and I won't let this happen again to my other two students. I'll be like a second mother to them. Rise them, love them, care for them. Protect them with my life. I won't let them feel like they left their homes for nothing."

Even though she was still worried, raven decided to put faith in Celestia that this will work. She then asked Celestia "And when can we expect Miss Dash to arrive at the castle?"

Celestia then looked out at the sunset as she said "I calculate six to seven days, she will arrive. While I was up there, I learned that Cloudsdale was about to start it's annual climate movement, and you know how dangerous it is for a Pegasus to try and leave Cloudsdale when that happens."

Raven nodded and wrote a note on her writing pad to expect a rainbow maned filly to arrive by next week.

Celestia then gave a yawn, which caused her baby dragon to yawn as well. Raven, giggling at the cute scene that played out. "Well, I suppose I'll let you sleep now. Goodnight Celestia." Raven walked over to Spike and kissed his check saying "Goodnight little prince."

Celestia smiled as Raven walked out of the room. She made the right choice in giving her a chance at being her assistant. As Celestia tucked Spike in his crib, she then put up her royal attire, she then climbed into bed, ready for another lonely night.

But, something was different this time. It looked like a vision of some kind. In it, there was Rainbow dash and Twilight sparkle. Both grown mares, along with another unicorn. It was a mare she hadn't seen in a long time. That firey flare she had was unmistakable. It was Sunset shimmer.

She was with Twilight and Rainbow dash, and...they were hugging. The three of them were acting like long lost siblings. It made her smile, as this warmed her heart.

Then, the vision shifted to Twilight and Rainbow dash with another group of mares and...they seem tight as well. They also had what looked like...a young little purple dragon?

This was getting incredible. That was Spike. Her son, grown up. And he looked adorable. He seemed to be apart of the group with Twilight and Rainbow dash.

Another vision then came in, and it looked like her son was with a white mare with a pretty purple mane. And...they were on a date. Celestia smiled as she was glad that he'll have a marefriend In The future.

Yet another vision appeared, this time, it wad the same group of ponys with Twilight and Rainbow dash. But this time, there was violet unicorn with cyan streak in her purple mane, and blue unicorn with a white mane, as well as a cyan Pegasus with a blonde mane. And they seem to be a part of the group too.

One last vision then came to her mind, and this was more dangerous then the others. It was Twilight, Rainbow dash, Spike, and the rest of the ponys from the visions. Except for Spike, all the ponys looked the same. It was a Settle charge, but...it looked like their all alicorns.

And the tiara and the necklaces Twilight, Rainbow dash and the others were wearing. Are those...the elements of harmony?! The elements chosen them to be their next wearers.

And the necklaces Spike, Sunset, and the others were wearing...are those...NEW elements of harmony?! There's no way, new elements have come to light?! But how?!

And they all seemed to be wearing...battle armor?! It seemed a massive war or battle was taking place. And Celestia was there too in her old armor. And also with...Her sister too?! She was both happy and sad for her. Happy, because her sister will return one day. But also sad because her student would have to learn the ways of the warrior and fight now. But, she was determined to help them grow as warriors, And as the visions vanished. She Giving her much to think about. And a happy and exciting smirk creeped up on her face.

The next morning

Rainbow dash, her brother Prism, Fluttershy and their friends arrived at the north side of Cloudsdale,ready for Rainbow and Fluttershy to take off.

Fluttershy then walked up to Prism as she said "Well, I'm off. I hope you continue to behave while I'm gone, ok? And don't worry about zeffer giving you trouble. I already talked to him."

Prism blushed, as he thought Fluttershy looked cool to him as he said "O-Ok Fluttershy. Good luck learning about animals down there." Fluttershy nodded as she walked to Cloud kicker and Gilda. About to say goodbye to them as well.

Rainbow dash then walked up to her little brother as she said "Well Prism, this is it. Umm...I'm, gonna miss you. And all that stuff."

Prism then raised a brow as he said "Come on sis, where's the emotion? Stop trying to hide yourself by being cool and show the REAL you. We don't judge."

Rainbow then looked at her precious little brother in his eyes and her eyes began to water as she said "Oh...LITTLE BRO!" She then cried in her little brother's embrace, letting him know how much she'll miss him as she said "I love you bro." She dried her eyes and gave smirk and said "You and Cloud kicker show the wonderbolts who's boss!"

Prism then gave a determined look as she and Fluttershy nodded and said "Ready Flutters?"

Fluttershy, surprisingly gave a determined nod and said "Let's do this." As the both jumped off and took to the skies. Ready to start the next chapter of their lives!
