“Ugghhhhh….what happened?” I asked.

I woke up in the hospital with a massive headache.

“I need some painkillers. Nurse! Doctor! Hello!?” I yelled.

Nurse Redheart came in looking completely exhausted.

“Hi-” she threw a bottle of painkillers at me.

“You ok? You like you haven’t slept in days,” I asked.

She glared at me.

“That’s because you put just about every pony in Ponyville in our mental health ward! I haven’t gotten a chance to sit due to the massive number of patients!” she yelled.

The doctor then walked in, also looking exhausted.

“I’ll take it from here, go help with the other patients,” he said.

Redheart nodded and walked away, Doctor Horse then turned his attention to me.

“You have suffered from a magic overload, you will not be able to use any magic for quite a while. You’re lucky you didn’t suffer from any critical injuries and only received a bad headache, just take the pills and you’ll be fine,” he said.

“What exactly happened?” I asked.

“Your illusion spell stopped once it overloaded, you passed out after the explosion,” he said.

“I see,” I said.

“Anyways….Princess Luna and the 6 Elements would like to see you. I must be going, I have many more patients to attend to,” he said as he walked out the door.

I took the whole bottle of painkillers and just waited. The 7 of them showed up, I was met with various looks of annoyance and nervousness. Luna had a blank expression on her face.

“Thou caused quite a stir,” she said.

“Be honest, how bad was it?” I asked.

“Your spell spread across the entirety of Ponyville, causing everypony to suffer from horrible hallucinations!” Twilight yelled.

“Sorry…..didn’t mean for things to get that out of control,” I said.

“Ya better be sorry!!! You have any idea how terrifyin’ that was!?! Ah saw myself as a horrible dictator running Sweet Apple Acres with an iron hoof! Ah treated mah own family so horribly ah beat them when they asked fer a break!!! Ah took inspiration from the Flim Flam Brothers and valued money above everythin’ else!!! Wurst part is I enjoyed every second of it!!!!!!!” Applejack ranted.

“Yikes. Yikes that is bad,” I said.

“Understatement, darling! You had me inflicting all sorts of self harm! I had no control of my body and was forced to watch as I impaled, scratched, burned myself. Along with many other things! The fact that I couldn’t feel any of it is at least a slight bonus,” Rarity said.

“Makes sense, it is just an illusion. Even if it is incredibly terrifying,” I said.

“I have to ask. If it was just an illusion, how come I could feel the soreness of having blades screwed into my body?” Twilight asked.

“I’m pretty sure you’d feel a lot more than sore if that happened. Maybe I was only able to replicate tiny, mild feelings? Nothing extreme?” I theorized.

“Perhaps….I think this mystery is best left unsolved,” she said.

“Yeah…..agreed,” I said.

“I-um-am going to need a lot of therapy after what I saw….” Fluttershy said.

“Sorry what?” I asked.

“I’M A MURDERER!!!” Fluttershy cried.

“FLUTTERSHY!!! CALM DOWN!!! IT WASN’T REAL!!!” I tried calming her down.

“IT FELT REAL!!!” she responded.

She fell to the ground and started crying.

“This is my fault!!! If I hadn't challenged you, none of this would be happening!” Dash yelled.

“My fault for going too far and using literal dark magic,” I said.

“But would you have used Sombra’s magic if I didn’t challenge you?” Dash asked.

“Probably not….You know what? This is on both of us, but I know when I’m more in the wrong. I’m the stupid one who decided using an evil tyrant king’s magic was a good idea,” I said.

“ATTENTION!!!” Luna yelled, “While we agree thou made a foolish mistake, thou are not from Equestria. Thou doth not have any of the experience, knowledge, or teachings all unicorns receive. Therefore it is expected that mistakes will be made.”

“Thanks Luna, that makes me feel a bit better,” I said.

“We must say, it is impressive how much power thou had. No normal unicorn would be able to handle such excessive dark magic and only escape with a headache. Thou hast potential, and we have been wanting an apprentice upon hearing our sister taking ponies under her wing,” Luna said.

“Are you saying?” I asked.

“Yes. Does thou accept?” she asked.

“Ok. Let’s do this,” I said.

“Fantastic, but first, it is best if thou gives out apologies to everypony,” she said.

“Yeah you’re definitely right,” I said.

Cue apologizing montage. Some accepted my apologies, some didn’t, some were too terrified of me and didn’t even want me to approach. I got an interesting response from Discord. He was actually impressed that a simple human turned pony with little experience in magic such as myself was able to essentially defeat him. He wasn’t expecting that at all. I still haven’t gotten any response from Pinkie, who was still grey and deflated, maybe tomorrow?

Author's Note

Sorry if that's a bit underwhelming, I couldn't really think of a better ending. I wanted to include Trixie, Starlight, and Spike but couldn't really fit them anywhere. To explain what they saw if anyones confused.

Spike got stuck in his greed form and took over Ponyville, forcing the residents to bring him treasures everyday under the threat of death. Also Rarity is a trophy.

Trixie took over with the help of the Alicorn Amulet and became a ruthless dictator completely fine with imprisonment, torture, and execution.

Starlight beat Twilight and took over her timeline, and plans to spread her rule to other timelines as well. The void she's in is the space between timelines where she can observe them all.
