Horrors of War: Equestria 1940

Five years have passed since the Invasion of their new home, 3 of the ponies that were originally in their group were captured by the German forces and sent who knows where, Rarity was one of them, Celestia didn't expect them to return, she saw how the Germans treated their own species so she was skeptical about the 3 ponies surviving.

But there was also good news, with what limited Prench Celestia understood, she knew that the War was almost at the end, but she was still scarred about seeing the German Forces murder, Pilliage and rape their own Species, but such was War, and there was nothing she could do about it.
But at least the new soldiers who wore a different uniform spoke Ponish, so the group could communicate with them pretty easily apart from the accent, but the soldiers generally left them alone.

Celestia was asleep next to the radio, having fallen asleep when there was nothing on, but she woke up after she heard that the Germans have surrendered to the allies, and all they did that night was party, the locals even bought them wine.

A few months have passed, Celestia woke up that morning and headed to the Kitchen, she couldn't believe that Applejack with the help of Twilight somehow managed to get this shack into a liveable home, She entered the kitchen and the ponies were eating breakfast at the large table that Applejack crafted for them, Celestia listened to the radio as her face went pale as she heard about the two atomic bombs dropped on Japan.
