Somewhere in the northern equestrian plains
Two miles away from a Royal Equestrian army base.
Three months after succession
Two royal guards stood upon a large grave.
It was filled with twelve ponies, some of which wore strange clothing.
The younger of the two guards, Lucky dawn, a mare, struggled to hold the urge to vomit.
"Dear celestia..." She muttered, as her friend, fancy hooves, tapped her side with his hoof.
"Don't morn them, there traitors" He said with a scowl as he turned back to fetch something.
"I know, but, some of them look like civilians!" Lucky dawn said exasperatingly, while flaying her wings.
"They were spies" Fancy said as he came back with a box of white powder held in his magic.
"Those d.s.e cunts sure do love there spies!.." Fancy said with an annoyed tone.
"Oh" Lucky said as she looked back at the grave.
'Then.. it's fine' She thought to herself.
"Mind helping me out?" Fancy asked as he gestured several boxes behind them.
"Sure" Lucky responded as she quickly flew and grabbed one of the boxes.
"Thanks, just pour it on the bodies" Fancy said as he did just that with his box.
"What's it supposed to do?" Lucky asked as she flew above the grave and dumped the powder from the box she was holding.
"It supposedly dissolves the bodies, at least that's what our officer said" Fancy responded with a shrug.
Lucky didn't say anything else as the two dumped box after box of the powder.
"That's all of it" Fancy said as lucky landed on the ground.
"Do we head back now?" She asked.
"Yeah, and we should probably hurry, looks like I lost track of time" Fancy responded as he looked up at the sky.
"Is something happening today?" Lucky asked as both guards started making their way back to their base.
"We should be getting sent down south I think" Fancy responded, wich caused lucky to gasp.
"South?! W- were getting sent to the frontline?!" She exclaimed, as fancy stared idly.
"Yes, why did that get you so worked up?" He asked.
"I just, don't want to fight..." Lucky said with a somber tone, as fancy chuckled.
"You didn't really complain about dumping that acidic powder on the bodies though" He said, as she stared ahead.
"Well," Lucky began to say.
"They were traitors, and besides, I wasn't the one who killed them" She continued as one of her wings outstretched and pointed at herself.
"I just don't think I have what it takes to take a life, especially another pony's!" She finished.
"So why join the military?" Fancy asked with a smirk.
"You know my dad practically forced me to" Lucky responded with a huff.
"And that was before everything with the portals and the rebellion!"
"Fair" Fancy said as they continued walking.
...
"I've got an idea" Fancy hooves piped up.
"An idea?.."
"Yes, to put your mind at ease about any pony you may kill" Fancy said as he turned his head to look at lucky.
"And that is?"
"Just remember that they are traitors, and, if you didn't kill them, they would have killed you" Fancy said with a nod.
...
"That's.. morbid" Lucky said with a blank stare.
"Yeah.. but it'll help" Fancy said as the two went quiet again.
"What took you two so long? Bell was about to send somepony to get you" Merry mane asked as both Fancy and Lucky made it back to their base.
"I lost track of time" Fancy said as Merry eyed the two curiously.
"Really? You guys didn't, you know..." Merry asked with a hint of embarrassment, making Lucky's face flush red.
"Of course not! Do you even know what we did? I don't think any pony would want to mate after what we saw!" Lucky exclaimed angrily as she stormed off.
...
"What did you guys do?" Merry asked as she and Fancy started.
"You don't know? Oh, right, your a new recruit, I forgot" Fancy said as he rubbed the back of his head.
"We get rid of enemy bodies"
"Oh, they've already made it this far out?" Merry asked.
"Yes, surprisingly, but it's fine, we've already got our own spies imbedded in their forces, the rebels aren't smart enough to find them" Fancy said confidently as they continued walking.
Lucky, alongside Fancy, Merry, and every pony else in the base stood outside, fully geared, waiting for the carriages and airships that would take them to Phillydelphia.
They couldn't use the train, since the D.S.E disabled it.
"Nervous?" Fancy asked.
"N- na, I'm fine" Lucky responded with a contradicting nervous chuckle.
"Don't worry, the princess said that even though these rebels might pose a problem, they should be squashed by hearths warming" Fancy said reassuringly.
"Really? How do you know?" Lucky asked.
"I heard it from one of those machines that were gifted to us, pretty sure it was called radio" Fancy responded.
"Oh, well that's good, still, I'm not sure if I'm ready to fight" Lucky said with a sigh.
"It's fine, the d.s.e may act all high and mighty, but they're not organized at all, and don't even have proper military training, they won't stand a chance"
"I don't know, I've been hearing some pretty wild rumors about them" Merry spoke up.
"Like what?" Fancy curiously asked.
"For starters, they supposedly have foreign support!" Merry started saying dramatically, almost like she was telling a horror story.
"And, that they have some pretty nasty weapons!" Merry finished.
While Fancy was amused by these supposed rumors, Lucky couldn't help but immediately think the worse, making her anxiety worse.
"And where did you hear these rumors?" Fancy asked.
"My cousin said she saw it, told me in a letter" Merry responded with a shrug.
The trio went quiet, and after some time of waiting, the first transport chariots started to arrive.
Lucky, Fancy, Merry, and a fourth unamed guard boarded a chariot.
Lucky started blankly at the country side as the chariot lifted into the air.
"Hey" Fancy spoke, making Lucky turn towards him.
"It'll be fine, besides, we'll go through this together!" Fancy started to say enthusiasticly.
"That's right!" Merry joined in.
"After all, what are friends for?" Fancy finished.
Lucky couldn't help but smile.
He was right, even though she was afraid of the coming months, she wouldn't be alone, her friends would be with her!
"Thanks guys, I almost feel exited about this because we'll do it together" Lucky said with a hum as the three friends continued their conversation, and the chariot continued on its route.

Canterlot, Equestria
Two years before Succession
The royal sisters walked side by side through one of the many corridors of their castle.
It had come to lunas attention that her sister and twilight sparkle were working on a secret project, one that in theory, would allow Equestria to communicate and share their views of friendship to an entirely new world and species!
At least, that's what celestia is telling her.
"are thine sure this is a good idea, sister?" Luna asked as both alicorns turned a corner.
"I'm sure" Celestia answered plainly.
"But" Luna started to say, as she racked her head as to how exactly this could turn out badly.
To her, this could be outright dangerous.
Even though such a thing is possible, considering the mirror world twilight speaks so highly of, that world was discovered when civilization of any kind was still in its infancy, by starswirl.
And Luna doesn't really worry about that place, yes, they seem to have some technology superior to theirs, but the people of that world generally prefer peace, and haven't used their knowledge to further their creations, weaponry wise.
"Can we be sure that the world we contact, the entirety of it, if it has sentient life, is like us? And shares our views?" Luna asked as the two sisters reached a set of doors.
Celestia sighed.
"No, of course not, we don't know anything about the world we'll be reaching out to... But, I'm confident it will all turn out well in the end" Celestia started to say light-heartedly as she opened the doors, which led to the courtyard.
'As it always does I suppose' Luna thought to herself.
Even though there have been many situations where her and her sister, twilight and the elements, or even the entirety of equestria, should've been defeated..
Everything turned out well in the end.
So why did she feel like it wouldn't be so easy this time?
"Alright, and is this gateway complete?" Luna asked as both sisters sat on a small grassy hill.
"No, but it's nearing completion, why, at the rate twilight and I are working, we should be done by the end of the week!" Celestia answered with a hint of excitement in her voice.
"You seem awfully excited dear sister, and what will be the plan once the gate is completed? Who will initiate first contact?"
"Twilight herself has volunteered, I would accompany her, but regretebbly, I need to stay here and tend to my duties"
"Twilight will go alone?" Luna asked.
Celestia nodded.
...
"I will accompany her, twilight may be an alicorn now, but she is no warrior, if she were to be attacked-" Luna began to say, before getting cut of by celestia.
"You worry too much lulu, but fair enough, I will let you journey into the new world with twilight, once the gate is completed" Celestia said as said pony they were speaking off practically stormed out into the courtyard, with a disheveled mane, and carrying an assortment of papers, books, and blueprints with her magic.
"Ah! Princesses! Your already here!" Twilight exclaimed as she sprinted over to the two sisters.
"I'm so so sorry I know I'm late, it's just that I accidentally overslept! Which I know is strange, but spike said it was because I've been barely sleeping these last few days, and-" Twilight started to ramble, before getting cut off by Celestia lightly chuckling.
"Twilight dear, you must relax, besides, you are ten minutes early" She said, making twilight give an embarrassed laugh.
"Oh, heh, sorry, I guess I'm just really excited for this" Twilight said sheepishly as she rubbed the back of her head with her hoof.
"As am I" Celestia started to say as she stood back up.
"Shall we get going?" She finished as Luna stood up as well.
"Yes, princess" Twilight said, earning a giggle from celestia.
"Twilight, you don't need to call me princess anymore, were equals, remember?"
"Sorry, force of habit"
"Oh, and, will princess Luna be joining us?" Twilight asked.
"Yes, I will. And, I will also be joining you into the new world once the gate is complete" Luna responded.
"Oh, that's great! Well, follow us and we'll fill you in on our progress" Twilight said as the trio started walking back to the castle.
As the trio walked, and Luna took in more of the information twilight was telling her, it was basically confirmed that this... Would work, most likely.
However, once the gate is made, it will be incredibly difficult to close, borderline impossible.
'And once it's done, that will be that' Luna thought to herself.
'Lets hope we don't regret this in the future'
New York City, New York
United States of America
Three years, and ten months after Southeastern Equestrian succession
Three small time reporters sat in a hotel lobby, huddled together as they watched a news report on a phone.
"-fter intense fighting, the Solar Republic of Equestria suffers another mayor defeat, as the city of West Ponyville surrendered to U.S forces alongside forces of the Democratic States of Eques-"
Joel West, the man holding the phone, turned it off, as he stood up from the couch he was sitting on, turning to face his friends.
"And that's that, the s.r.e is basically done for" He said as one of his friends, Jacob Walsh, crossed his arms.
"Not really surprising"
The third man, George Barnes, placed a hand on his chin.
"Why'd you want to show us this anyway?" He asked.
"Because were going over there" Joel answered, much to the amusement of his friends and co-workers.
"Really? We're newbies man, there not gonna let us report on the shit happening on the other side" George said.
"It's fine, a cousin of mine owed me a favor, so we'll be able to go" Joel said as he started typing something into his phone.
"Awfully convenient, but hey, I won't complain" George said with a grin.
"Yeah, especially when we're gonna be getting a quote from Queen Celestia" Joel casually said as he put his phone back in his pocket.
...
"Christ on a stick, the queen? Are you crazy? You know that any reporter is captured in Republic territory right? And humans? Killed on sight" Jacob said as he and George stood up.
"And nobody's even heard of Celestia ever since her niece was killed, I'm not even sure she's still alive" George added in.
"She's alive" Joel said.
"Ok, and how do you expect to get to Canterlot, genius? It's the most fortified city in the Republic, and none of us are fighters, we just talk to a mic and take pictures" Jacob asked.
"Weren't you watching the report? Ponyville has fallen, and Canterlot is next, we'll just accompany the d.s.e as they make their way to the city" Joel answered.
"You make it sound so easy" Jacob said with a sigh as he rubbed his temple.
"But it still doesn't change the fact that the entirety of the North is a war-torn mess, and the gate in friendly territory is down in the place with the bugs-" Jacob started to say, before George cut in.
"Changeling's"
"Whatever the hell their called, the gate is there, were gonna have to be quick if we want to reach our guys before they take Canterlot" Jacob finished.
"Then we'll just be quick, now c'mon, we've got to get ready for our flight. The gate on our side is a couple states south" Joel said as he started making his way to the exit of the hotel, friends in tow.
"I mean, if the flight has already been booked, and the passage to the other side is confirmed, then we might as well go right? There's no reason to pass on getting a quote from the immortal sun queen" George said as the three men exited the hotel.
"Right, and even though Celestia may be immortal, she can still die, that's why we need to get that quote" Joel said as he called for an Uber.
"We're really doing this huh? Jeez, I can think of a million reasons to this could go badly" Jacob said with a groan.
"But, if we do this, we'll be famous! Just think, The reporters who recorded celestia's final words" Joel said with dramatic emphasis.
That seemed to raise the spirits of the men, as they imagined all the interviews and publicity they would get.
"Hell yeah, let's do it!" George started to say with vigor.
"And while we're at it, we can report an anything we come across on the way!"
Jacob groaned again.
"Alright, fuck it"
"Finally, were all on the same page here. Let's do this, and stay safe till we get to Canterlot, and we'll become legends" Joel said with finality as their Uber arrived.
United States of America
Somewhere in Washington
One year, and eleven months before Southeastern Equestrian succession
In a forest, somewhere in Washington, a small, bright wormhole opens up, and practically spits Twilight Sparkle out.
"OOF!!" Twilight exclaimed as she fell face first into the ground.
"Ugh, that was rougher than I thought it would be" She said as she picked herself up, and scanned her surroundings.
"So this is the new world? ... Looks a lot like the everfree forest" She said with a hint of nervousness.
Nervousness that she quickly squashed.
The portal must've just landed her in a forest, after all, she didn't know where exactly the portal would open.
She and Luna would just need to hike for a bit, in order to find civilization.
...
"Wait, where's Luna?" Twilight thought out loud.
As she said that, twilight looked around her surroundings once again, only to find the absence of the lunar princess.
...
"it's fine! She must've just appeared somewhere else" Twilight said as she mentally decided on a random direction to head in.
"I'll probably just see her once I get back, unless she gets caught up with something"
Dotting in a mental checklist where the portal was, Twilight started making her way west, hoping the forest wasn't too vast, or that she didn't accidentally go deeper into said forest.
Some time later...
Twilight had deduced, that if there was civilization on this planet, they're forests were extremely similar to the everfree forest, in the sense that the weather seemed to be random, and erratic.
Throughout her trek, she had also come across seemingly manually made trails.
"If I just follow these, then they must take me to a town, hopefully" Twilight said as she continued walking.
'I want to at least establish contact, before returning to Equestria, unless it starts taking too-' Twilight thought to herself before she was startled by a bush rustling.
Twilight quickly went and hid inside another bush, hoping to avoid whatever animal might be near her.
'Who knows what kind of beasts may live in this unknown forest...' She nervously thought to herself as the beast In question came into view.
'A, deer?'
The deer was just, standing there, not doing anything.
...
'Should I say hello?' Twilight thought to herself.
Although deers were one of the many sentient species living in Equi, the deer she was looking at was acting, strange.
Almost like it was one of Fluttershy's animals.
'Maybe deers aren't sentient in this world?' Twilight thought as she suddenly spotted.. A red Dot?
'Huh?'
The red dot was quickly moving around the deers body, stopping on its forehead.
'Does he not s-' Twilight thought to herself, but stopped when there was a sudden ear piercing-
*BANG!!*
And the deer fell to the ground, blood gushing from it's head.
Twilight didn't move for a solid twenty seconds, trying to process the fact she just saw something die... Just like that.
'What even, happened?'
She racked her head for an answer, was it the red dot? Did that somehow kill the deer? It must have, there was nothing else, but how?
As twilight continued to think of a reason of the deers demise, in order to not think of the actual dead deer, a second figure stepped into view.
And this one, was vastly different.
And in twilight's eyes, far more threatening.
It was tall and bipedal, with hands resembling those of a minotaur, only smaller.
It looked scarily similar to the humans of the mirror world, only some of it's proportions were off.
Twilight couldn't see it's face, as it was covered by some sort of mask, and the figure wore dark clothing.
The figure was wearing a hat, with text on it, but twilight couldn't make it from where she was.
And in the figures hands, was some sort of staff.
It was black, looked metallic, and was producing the the red dot that twilight has already garnered a fear of from the top of it.
The man walked over to the deers body, and kneeled down.
"Hm, guess the purchase was worth it" The figure said as he placed his weapon to the side, and took out a small black rectangle from his clothing.
From the voice, twilight could guess that the figure was a male, and sounded relatively young.
The figure placed the rectangle, wich she deduced was a phone, up to his ear, and began speaking, in perfect ponish.
"Hey guys, are you coming? Yeah I'm here, already killed a deer too"
The figure sat down with his back to twilight, as he continued talking.
Yeah the guns pretty cool. Sure, I'll let you use it. Are you bringing your dad's revolver? .. Sweet.
Twilight decided that whatever this thing is, was not friendly, and that she should probably go back to the portal.
She started to slowly crawl back as the man continued talking.
*Snap!*
'Of course...'
The figure quickly turns around, eying the bush that made the noise.
"Hold on, I'll call you back" The man said as he hung up his call, placed his phone back in his pocket, and grabbed his rifle.
He stood up, pointed the rifle at the bush, and pulled the trigger.
*BANG!!*
The bullet flew by twilight, gracing her flank, leaving her with a stinging cut.
She sucked in her breath through gritted teeth, and before she could do anything else, the man uncovered her hiding spot.
"Who is trying to scare me he-" The man started to say, but stopped when he got a good look at the lavender pony.
Twilight was frozen with fear, the staff the figure was holding, wich she was sure killed the deer, was pointed right at her.
"What, the hell?" The man asked, baffled.
He slowly lowered his gun, confused by the seemingly impossible discovery he just made.
"Did I just find an honest to god, unicorn? Am I tripping bro?" The man said, flabbergasted, as he stood there, unmoving.
Even though twilight was still fearful, she hoped that this, strange human, was nice, and reasonable.
Even though he did just killed a deer and used the same weapon to attack where she was hiding, without hesitation..
"H- hello, my name is-" Twilight started to say, as she stepped out of the bush, before getting cut of by the jumped man.
"Holy shit! And it can talk?!" He exclaimed as he held the gun with one of his hands, while the other scratched his hat covered head.
...
"Um-" Twilight attempted to say, before getting interrupted again.
"Is your magical pony town, invisible? Like the smurfs?" The man started.
"Or, are you some sort of government science experiment?"
"Science experiment? No, I'm- my name is Twilight Sparkle" She said.
"Twilight sparkle... And how'd your pop's come up with that one?" He said with a laugh as he reached back into his pocket.
"Eh, well, it doesn't matter if their looking for you or not, I'm still gonna turn you in" He finished, much to twilight's dismay.
"T-turn me in?" She nervously asked as the man went into the camera app, and stared taking pictures of her.
"Yeah, don't take it personally"
Twilight could see that her first contact was going badly, and that she needed to return to Equestria.
Hopefully, wherever Luna ended up, she met some friendlier people.
"I'm sorry, mr.."
"Owen, pony Lady"
"Owen, well, I'm sorry mr. Owen, but I really should be going back.." Twilight said.
"Back? I don't think so, you're staying right there" Owen said as he pointed to the spot twilight was standing on, and tightened his grip on the gun.
An action that did not go unnoticed.
"Where do you even need to go to? C'mon, let's talk, tell me more about you're self" Owen said as he started typing something into his phone.
Twilight decided to play along for now.
"Ok, you already know my name-"
"Do you know what state your in?" Owen asked.
"N- no" Twilight responded.
"Ok, interesting" Owen said as he placed the phone back into his pocket.
"Why are you here?" He asked.
"Um, I had actually come, hoping to establish first contact-"
"First contact? So, your an alien? Hm, aliens look like girly pony's, interesting..." Owen said as he went into thought.
...
"You said you needed to go somewhere, right? Is it your spaceship? Or whatever the hell you used to come here?" Owen asked.
Twilight considered lying, but, where would that get her?
"Yes" She answered.
Owen nodded.
"Ok.." He said as he raised his gun, and pointed it at twilight.
"Lead the way" Owen said.
Twilight's anxiety spiked again once the gun was pointed at her again, but she kept her cool.
At least, she tried to as the two started making their way back to the portal.
Some, more time later
"Hey!" Owen screamed, startling twilight.
The sun was going down, and Owen was getting worried that this purple pony was leading him to a trap.
"Where the hell are we going?" He asked.
"We're going to the portal, like you said" Twilight answered, irritatedly.
Now that more time has passed, twilight had just added Owen into the list of no good villains, who were just evil, to be evil.
Owen seemed more violent than the rest, but still.
"Alright, let's just, hurry it up, ok? I've gotta get back soon" He said as they continued walking.
Twilight just sighed.
They eventually did make it to the portal, with Owen staring at it with awe.
Twilight was trying to find a way to defeat Owen, and his deadly weapon.
During her time here, twilight found out that her magic was far weaker, with levitation being the only viable spell she could perform.
But if she can get him to equestria, then she and the princess could subdue him more easily.
"Well here it is, that's how I got here" She said.
...
Owen took out his phone, and started to record.
He seemed nervous, as his arm was shaking a bit.
"If I'm not showing you this video, then that means.. something bad happened to me. This is a message to the United States government, i- I've made contact with an alien race" Owen started saying as he then panned the camera over to Twilight.
"I know I may be doing something dumb, but, they may be planning to do something to us, like, invade us or some shit" He continued as he panned the camera back to the portal.
"My phone password is seven, six, four, eight. You know, just in case, i don't make it... I'm- I'm sorry" He finished as he kneeled down besides a tree, stopped recording, made a call, and placed his phone in the dirt, so it would stick out.
Owen stood back up, and faced twilight.
"I've got a question" Owen asked.
He didn't wait for twilight to respond before he started asking.
"Do you know what this is called?" He asked, gesturing to his gun.
As tense as twilight was, she answered.
"No"
She could see him place his second hand on his weapon, almost as if he was preparing to use it.
'What is he...'
"Good, good, well.. goodbye" He said as he suddenly aimed his rifle at her.
Twilight barely had a second to react before Owen pulled the trigger.
*BANG!!*
The bullet hit her leg, causing her to scream and hit the floor.
The pain twilight felt was, immeasurable, but, doable, since it was just the leg.
Still, by Celestias flank, it hurt like fucking hell.
Owen ignored twilight's cries of pain as he looked back at the portal.
Twilight looked at the sight through tear stained eyes.
'Oh no...'
She couldn't let him get through, the destruction he could cause with that thing...
Twilight gathered all of her strength to stand back up, and activated her magic.
She slowly made her way over to Owen, who seemed to be checking something on his gun, as her magic picked up the closest rock she could see.
And hit him over the head with it.
She would normally never do something like this, if she could, befriending Owen would have been her solution, but the way he's acted, and what he's seemingly planning to do next...
"Agh!!" Owen exclaimed as he stumbled forward, with his hat being flung into the portal.
"The fuck!?!" He screamed as he turned around.
Only to be met with a buck to the stomach.
"Ghrg!!" He wheezed as he fell to his knees, dropping the rifle.
"I'm so sorry Owen, it's just that" Twilight started to apologize, as she weakly walked over to the man.
Before being met with a fist straight to the muzzle, sending her tumbling backwards.
"Fucking, bitch" Owen seethed as he pulled a butterfly knife from one of his pockets.
Twilight couldn't even begin to pick herself up, before getting kicked in the ribs, making her scream with pain.
"I knew this was a trap, I Fucking knew it!" He said as another kicked was delivered to the downed pony.
Twilight tried to catch her breath, but failed due to the continued onslaught from Owen.
"Once the military finds out about you little bastards, it'll be over for you!!" Owen said as he plunged the knife onto twilight's flank.
Another gut wrenching scream followed, but Owen ignored it, as he placed his boot on twilight's head.
"p- please..." Twilight weakly spoke out.
Owen, started to apply pressure.
"This, is what you get.." He said as he continued to step on twilight's head.
Twilight was seeing her life flash before her eyes, all of her memories, with her friends..
"When you mess.." Owen continued, more pressure applied.
Twilight's vision was starting to darken, as she was desperately searching for any escape, with one seemingly found.
She activated her magic..
"With the United States of Fucking America!!!" Owen screamed as he started to fully crush twilight's head under his boot.
*BANG!!*
*BANG!!*
*BANG!!*
*Thud*
...
Twilight stayed there, unmoving, for what felt like hours.
She slowly, aganizingly slowly, stood back up.
The forest was dead silent, as she looked around her surroundings.
Her head suddenly stopped when she spotted Owen.
His, unmoving, lifeless body.
She also spotted the weapon, on the floor, with smoke coming out of its barrel.
"O-, oh dear Celestia.." She said as her eyes started to swell with tears again.
It was too much, she emptied the contents of her stomach onto the ground, as she stared to audibly cry.
"I'm sorry! I- I didn't mean too!" She exclaimed as she continued to let her emotions out.
Her moment of mourning was interrupted as she noticed a small, but bright light.
She looked over to where the light was coming from, and spotted Owens phone, as it was transmitting a call.
She walked over to it, enduring the pain from her ribs and flank as she did so, and grabbed the phone with her magic.
The screen showed 911
In an act of fear, twilight smashed the phone into the ground.
She wanted to leave, she wanted to go home, she just wanted to be by ponies she knew.
Twilight made her way back to the portal.
She muttered "It was a mistake to come here..." As she entered the portal.
One hour later
By the time the police arrived, Owen was long dead, and the portal was gone.
From what the dispatcher that was on the call with him was saying, there must be proof of what happened to this kid on his phone.
The phone was broken, but that was just the screen. Once they transfered the SIM card, they should be able to find out what exactly happened to him.
