Replanted in ice and snow
I'm so close to a breakthrough. I could have her back soon, my love would finally be back.
Put some salt here, dead butterflies there, a touch of innocent souls, and all the preparation is done. I set my camera on the tripod.
The camera’s old, from back before the mushroom war, the thing was very nearly falling apart. But it had lasted through thick and thin and would last for one more video.
“Circle appears unresponsive; this means I set it up correctly. I have everything ready, I need only add the final part: a drop of my blood and It should begin,” I monologue
Sweaty, shaky hands grab the knife. Don't do it. I raise it a bit higher. You'll just get yourself killed. All my doubts are screaming at me to stop but I don't listen. You're meddling with forces you don't understand. I raise the knife to my hand, “Beginning test one” and slash down
“Uugh” I groan, the slash runs deep into my palm much deeper than necessary. A drop of blood lands on the circle. “Finally I will see you again, my princess.

I missed Finn and Jake, being a tree was no fun at all but at least they had made it bearable.
I don't have a lot of magic, I can't form my body out of the grass, and probably never will again. I can barely move my branches and I can make a sword once a century.
Life was boring. Nothing happened, occasionally someone takes shelter near him but they leave the next day. If only something interesting would happen.

The ritual was working! The runes began to radiate a crimson light that was almost blinding and everything began to float. It was actually working!
The room started to spin as if a twister had formed and everything fell back down to the ground.
“That's not Betty” was the only thing I could say before a blinding light devoured me.

I really hate my luck, like why did I wish for something interesting? I knew something bad would happen but this was excessive.
A giant wall of light came my way. I hope BMO’s okay. Was the only thought in my leafy head. And I watched as it came ever closer.
That's all I could do for a long time, watch. If I could sigh I would but I can't breathe either and I really miss my legs. If I had legs once more I would never take them for granted again.
I mentally braced myself for the pain. I waited a second for the pain, then ten more seconds, then a minute, which turned into ten minutes yet still no pain.
Nothing happened to me. Though for some reason all the other trees were upside down.

I woke up in a crater.
Everything around me was either broken or on fire or both.
Whatever Betty wished for kept me alive no matter what. And after a few thousand years I just wanted it to end. Living for a million years doesn't sound very fun
So I had once again picked up my search for ways to summon and separate GOLBetty and after a few centuries I thought I had found it.
But no GOLB, Betty, or GOLBetty appeared. No, I got none of them, Instead, I got a black egg.
It was another dead end and this time, I think I took down all of Ooo with me. Wherever I look things are different.
Parts of Ooo were floating, water turned into chocolate milk, clouds were pink, and trees were upside down.
Even I was not spared of this change. I was completely covered in fur and I could see my nose easily so I personally had an elongated nose. I also had… was that a pair of horns?
I heard a loud *Crack* behind me. “Oh no not again,” The egg was glowing a deep crimson and had a small crack in it. *BOOM* I was once again consumed by light.

Another wall was coming and it was just as bright and harmless as the last. Though I did change, one of my leaves was blue of all colors.

I was normal again. I had no horns, no fur, no elongated face. I was Simon yet again.
Now to check on that egg, cause that egg was releasing huge amounts of magic according to my magical measurer (yes that is what it's called) but not just any magic it was chaos magic.
That in itself was huge, it's possible his spell didn't fail, maybe it just wasn't specific enough. Maybe the spell was to summon powerful chaos entities, not GOLB. Or maybe it tried, fell short, and grabbed the next best thing.
The egg looked like a normal egg just gray, it had a long crack in it running from the top to about the middle. The egg was about the size of my fist. Wait a minute, gray? Wasn't it just black?
How in the- *BOOM*

Number three just passed, two is a lot but three? What is PB doing? Is it even her doing this? I assumed it was her. This looks like a PB experiment gone wrong.
Also, the blue was spreading. That's only slightly concerning compared to the fact that some of my leaves are falling out, I kinda need those.

The egg was white and there was a second crack in it. I was still me, no fur this time. The egg looked ready to hatch which was weird because it looked normal a minute ago but oh well.
Magic was not Simon's cup of tea. Magic doesn't even follow its own rules. Magic usually repels the same kind of magic and attracts the opposite; kinda like a magnet.
But when in an excited state it does whatever it wants regardless of the rules. Why is this important? Because that means either I'm about to be swarmed with chaos magic or Harmonious magic.
The harmonious magic might sound nice but it would probably rearrange my insides to be more “harmonious” and chaos magic isn't much better. It would probably shuffle the function of every hole in my face.
So only good times are ahead. I can already feel it and it hurts. I let out a big sigh.
Sure enough, I feel the wind pick up and speed toward the egg. Some type of magic was rushing toward the egg and the result wasn't going to be good.
*KABOOM*

There goes another, yep another one. Why another? Good question.
I'm completely blue now. Wow. Congrats. It's a boy. I also shimmer in the light and lost all my leaves but I wasn't hungry, I was mighty refreshed in fact.
Like I ate really good meatloaf refreshed. I felt stronger too, like I could do something again, something I really missed.

The egg hatched and the life inside was the weirdest thing ever. It looked like someone crossed a snake with ten different animals. It had one bat wing, a bird wing, a lion paw, a chicken leg, a horse leg, a leg with scales, and two mismatched horns.
The first thought wasn't: I'm no parent. it's true though, last time I ran away like a coward and I don't know a thing about caring for infants. Let alone weird amalgamated infants.
It was: this little guy needs a name.
“You certainly don't look like a Phil that's for sure,” I mutter. He didn't look like a Bob either. But most importantly he didn't look very harmonious, looks like lots of chaos magic gathered here to help hatch him.
With that in mind, the perfect name came quickly “How does Discord sound?”

I lost all motivation to write my other story (dont worry it will be back) but not the motivation to write and yes I am setting up discord to be like Marceline.
