The one where Chrysalis tries (and fails) to be Cadance
The sound of wedding bells filled the hall, as groups of ponies gathered to see the grand union of "Princess Mi Amore Cadenza" and Shining Armor.
"Princess Cadance and Shining armor, it is my great pleasure to pronounce you-" Princess Celestia was about to make it official, until she was stopped by a shout from the back.
"Stop!!!" Twilight Sparkle called out, earning the attention of everypony from the crowd. Some of which looked ether shocked to see her protesting the wedding, or simply disappointed in her behavior.
"Ugh! Why does she have to be so possessive of her brother?!" "Cadance" complained, earning the attention of Celestia and her bridesmaids who were shocked at this sudden shift of behavior.
Realizing she made a mistake, "Cadance" rephrased it to gain sympathy. "Why does she have to ruin my special day?" She said while "Sobbing".
"Because, it's not YOUR special day, it's MINE!!!" A familiar voice announced, revealing Cadance who was badly worn down and dusty from her time in the Canterlot caves.
Many ponies were now shocked and confused, seeing as how "Cadance" was with them in the room about to get married. Especially Celestia as she couldn't believe that she had two versions of her niece in the same room.
Chrysalis Merely stood there, baffled about how Cadance could have easily escaped her prison.
She could have known Twilight could have escaped since she was a stubborn unicorn who was blasting the walls last time when she used her spell to contact her, but not Cadance herself, as she made sure she was too weak to escape when she banished her there.
"I don't understand! How could there be two of her?" Applejack finally spoke up and asked the question everypony had on their minds at the moment.
"She's a changeling! She takes the form of somepony you love and gains power by feeding off your love for them!" Cadance explained to the baffled audience.
Chrysalis tried to think of a way out of this flaw in her plan, then in a moment of weakness, she spoke out.
"I am not! You're the changeling who's trying to ruin my wedding!" "Cadance" called out to the supposed "changeling".
"What?! You banished me to the Canterlot caves and took over my appearance you liar!" Cadance defended herself.
"You don't have any proof! We all know it was YOU who brainwashed Twilight against me, and accused me of being evil when I was trying to heal my husband to be!" "Cadance" tried explaining and reasoning her actions.
"I wasn't brainwashed! I noticed how you were acting rude and snobby when preparing for the wedding! The real Cadance would never act so mean and hurtful, REGARDLESS if it's because of 'stress'!" Twilight defended herself and Cadance to the phony.
As their argument and accusations continued, the ponies became more and more confused as to who was the changeling, and who was the bride.
"Please! You have to believe me! I'M the real Cadance! isn't that right Shining?" "Cadance" asked her groom.
"Mmm hmm." Is all the captain of the royal guard muttered as he gave a slight head tilt in response.
"You've clearly brainwashed Shining armor!" Cadance called out to the one who tried to pretend to be her.
"I did not!" "Cadance" retorted.
"Did too!" Cadance corrected.
"Did not!"
"Did too!"
"Did not!"
"Did too!"
"Did not!"
"Did too!"
"Did not!"
"Did too!"
"Did not!"
"Did too!"
This went on for about five minutes.
"Look! His eyes are green! Green eyes! Shining Armor's eyes are normally blue!" Cadance stated to her doubleganger.
"He's just tired after a long day of preparing for the wedding!" "Cadance" defended.
"That doesn't explain his change of eye color!" Cadance stated.
"Oh yeah?! Well we'll just see who the crowd thinks is the real Cadance!" "Cadance" challenged to the real one.
"Please! You all have to know it's me! I would never behave so rudely on my wedding day!" Cadance pleaded to the crowd, who were all confused about this whole situation.
Celestia looked like she thought she was in some bizarre dream, and Twilight's friends looked nervous, and possibly reconsidering their beliefs on Twilight's accusations of "Cadance".
"Girls! You believe the one I bought with me is the real Cadance right?" Twilight pleaded with her friends to back her up, but they only backed away. Not because they sided with the imposter, but because they didn't know who to side with.
"Pinkie?......" Twilight asked her friend to believe her.
"I...... well....... I don't like confrontations!" Pinkie complained, who obviously just wanted to party and have fun at the wedding then having to deal with changeling conspiracies.
Before anyone else could respond, Cadance noticed several black dots outside the shield, and noticed they were attacking the shield.
"Look! Changeling drones are trying to invade canterlot! I wouldn't be telling you this if I was the changeling!" Cadance shouted at the crowd.
"Oh, those are just special fireworks for the wedding!" "Cadance" tried to excuse.
"No they're not! Please! You have to believe me!" Cadance begged the crowd to listen to her.
"They'll never believe you! For we all know the real Cadance is the prettier one, and you're looking at her." "Cadance" boosted.
"We have the same appearance! The only difference is that you have a wedding dress on!" Cadance scolded to the liar and phony.
"Says the one who looks like they haven't eaten for five days." "Cadance" Smirked.
"Gee, I wonder WHOSE fault THAT is." Cadance retorted.
"Wait! I know how we can tell who's the real one!" Twilight came up with a solution.
"What?" "Cadance" simply replied, confused.
"Cadance, light up your horn." Twilight asked her future sister in law.
"Ok, but I don't know how that's going to get everypony to believe us." Cadance responded before doing as she asked, revealing that her magic aura is blue.
"Now, 'Cadance', light up YOUR horn." Twilight asked while giving a confident smirk.
"I don't know what you're getting at, but it's not going to work!" "Cadance" threatened.
"DO IT." Twilight demanded.
"Fine! But it's pointless as I have the same magic just like her-" The imposter said. But before she could finish her sentence, she noticed that her magic aura was green, and not blue like the Cadance near the door.
"BOOM." Twilight said confidently, sure that this proved their case.
The ponies in the crowd chatted amongst themselves, knowing that Cadance's magic aura was always blue, and not green.
"What do you have to say to defend that? CHANGELING." Cadance said while giving a prideful grin.
"................. My magic is sick?..............." "Cadance" sheepishly answered, causing the crowd to laugh in hysterics over her weak excuse.
However outside the window, Chrysalis saw her own drones had stopped breaking the shield to laugh at her embarrassing answer. To which she simply responded by giving them the death glare, which caused them to silence their chuckles.
"You're not my niece, are you?" Celestia said, while standing behind "Cadance". Causing her to quiver in fear by how intimidating Celestia sounded up close.
"I....... Well, uh....... You see, The thing is...........I.............. Uhh............" "Cadance" tried to look for a good excuse, until she ran into the only escape option she could think of........
"Oh my gosh! Is that Flash sentry?!" She called out, to which everypony immediately turned around in response.
"That stallion?!"
"Where?!"
"I'LL KILL HIM!!!"
Unfortunately for the ponies, "Cadance" escaped by running up to and falling through a glass window. To which the shards comically didn't shatter a piece of her skin.
"How did she do that without hurting herself?!" Twilight asked, baffled.
"I don't know but I hope she never comes back." Cadance spat as she saw the imposter leave.
Chrysalis then turned back into her true form and signaled her drones to call off the invasion. Not out of embarrassment or anything, but because the mission was a complete and total failure.
Yup, that's totally it.
"I am SO coming back for revenge for this humiliation!" Chrysalis said in raw anger towards her drones.
"'Your magic is sick'? What kind of weak excuse was that!?" One of her drones asked while chuckling.
"You would have answered with that too if you were in MY position!" Chrysalis argued.
"I don't think I would have." The drone simply replied.
"Whatever! Let's just get back to the hive so we can discuss our next plan of attack!" Chrysalis hissed with raw anger in her voice.
"See, this is why I never attend weddings." One drone replied while still chuckling over their queens embarrassing answer.
