Boom, Boom, Boom, Boom

A mare who can try to communicate with nearly every kind of animal is a precious resource, and one of Fluttershy's problems is that the local conservationists both know it and ask her to act accordingly. Not that she really minds very much, because it lets her meet all sorts of potential new frie -- visitors. Maybe 'visitor' is a little better for the cottage's latest temporary arrival, especially since it barely seems to understand where it is. Or that it exists. But it's only going to be here for a few days, until the expert can formally take custody. And this is a bird so rare as to have Fluttershy know nothing more than the name: 'kākāpō'.

The actual translation is 'night parrot'.

'Herald of gibbering insanity' would be more of a nickname.
