Applejack could hear the familiar sound of tree sap covering her sister and her friends. She could only resist a sigh, as it was only a few days after discord left his stoney prison and wrought chaos. And the cutie mark crusaders were already starting there crusading again. Apple bloom sighed as her body was being cleaned from the tree sap. Another attempt to gaining her cutie mark failed in getting covered in tree sap again. "You ok sugurcube?" Asked applejack "Yeah, just frustrated on not being able to get my cutie mark." Answered apple bloom She was distracted by her thoughts when she was cleaned from all of the tree sap. As she got out of the wooden tub she thought about the assignment from class. Creating something new from the old. She thought it was going to be super difficult as all of the broken equipment was either in the shed or barn. But that's when she thought about the broken gramophone, the broken plow, some of the rusty screws, and a broken off shovel head. Each broken farming equipment was in different a place. First of wich was the easiest, it was the farm plow. Where it was In the barn. It was late in the day as she walked to the barn. she was supposed to be in bed but she needed to do this. As she thought that she opened the barn door. The barn was eerily empty as apple bloom trotted in. The plow was near the back corner, but apple bloom couldn't find it. Until she reached the dark almost pitch black corner, and saw a glimmer in on of the cardboard boxes. but it was under two other boxes, she wondered how to get it. when she spotted a bundle of ropes. She picked it up and lasso the top boxes and pulls them down to reach the bottom box. But she forgot about the top boxes as it falls on her. Fortunately it's only some dirty hats and horseshoes. So when she got out of the pile, she was relatively unharmed with only a few scratches as the horseshoes were still metal, but the plow was now free from the boxes as it now could be taken. But the crash made some noise so apple bloom quickly took the plow and made a hasty escape. Next was the rusty screws. It was easy as it was being kept in a box on the top shelf of the closet. luckily apple bloom kept her rope and quietly yet quickly take the screws. Unfortunately applejack was going to the closet to fix the mess from the barn so apple bloom ran back to her room where she hid the plow. Next was the gramophone. The barn was now being garded by big mac and applejack, the gramophone was being stored in the donate box on the porch. It was in the donate box as the gramophone is a very recent invention and somepony could fix it up for themselves. But the box was watched by granny smith, However when apple bloom reaches the box and was planning on making an excuse when she saw granny smith was taking a nap, So she quickly but quietly took the gramophone and ran into her room as fast as she could. Finally was the shovel head. it was late in the day almost night. But as she got to the shed she started to question why she was doing this. Now that she thought of it, she found that some of the past actions she did was on some sort of instinct and she wasn't thinking rightly when she did some of them. But now that she was this close she might as well finish it as it was to late to reverse the stuff she did. So she snuck through as quietly as possible and watched her brother standing in front of the shed door guarding the stuff inside. As she watched she found applejack come in and swap out. They did this 2 more times in an hour. But when they swap once more she snuck in. It was nearly a complete void in the shed. But she found the box of broken tools. As she rummaged through the box she found the shovel head. but it was buried under the other tools. So she had to pull with all her filly earth pony might to get it out. Unfortunately it made a lot of noise, so when she got the shovel big mac started to investigate. Thinking quickly, apple bloom hid in an empty box. When she heard big mac leaving apple bloom sighed as she was almost caught. With shovel in hoof she snuck out and ran into her room. As apple bloom gathered the collected broken stuff into a pile. Her lack of sleep was showing as it was at least a day of non-stop hiding, stess, and collecting that was taking a toll. She was half aware when she started constructing the thing before passing out. Apple bloom woke up. She was groggy and slow. When she got up though she found a weird construction in front of her. It had the plow as a sort of anchor. The moter from the gramophone was attached to an arm holding the shovel head. And a switch to presumably turn it on or off. She had no recollection of making this thing so she took it outside to see what it does. She was up earlier than normal so she had some time before having to go to school. So not knowing what it does or if it'll even do anything she places it on the ground and turned it on. To her astonishment it started to dig the ground like it was being controlled by a unicorn. She was flabbergasted that she created this while tired. That's when she felt a tingle on her flank. she was confused until she looked back and found her cutie mark. It was a picture of a zap apple with a bit mark taken out of it. She was ecstatic and squealed for joy rushing of to show applejack and anyone that would listen. Author's Note So this is my first fan fic, sorry for the lack of the apple family accent as I have 0 clue on how to do so, and as well fir the short chapter Chapter 2"Well twi It was a long day. First the top boxes above the plow in the barn somehow fell down and the old plow was now gone. So I went to get some glue from the closet to fix some of the broken glass while big mac kept watch of the barn. But when I got to the closet, some of the old rusty screws where gone. Me and big mac suspected it was somepony trying to prank us probably rainbow dash so we made shifts between the shed and the barn. So when it got late we went back into the house where we found the new broken gramophone was gone. Granny smith said she didn't see anypony so we decided to cut our loses and he went back to sleep when I decided I wanted to with you and just unload. Thanks twi, I needed this but I'll be going back to the barn to get some sleep" explained applejack as she walked back to the barn Applejack was awoken by a joyful yell. 'It was going to be a long day.' Applejack thought. Applejack made her way down and through the door. Where she came to a perplexing sight. Apple bloom had her cutie mark and was prancing around a machine of all the missing items from the day before. But it was put together weirdly and the oddest thing, it was moving the shovel as if it was being controlled by a unicorn. Before applejack could question apple bloom She rushed up to applejack exclaiming she had gotten her cutie mark before rushing off into town. Applejack sighed as this was not surprising for appl blooms reaction. Apple bloom was happy. She had gotten her cutie mark a few hours ago and was now in school showing off her new creation. "Allright apple bloom will you show us what you have made?" Asked Ms cheerily "I bet it's some trash in a pile!" snarked diamond tiara "Now that isnt how you treat other students diamond!" Scolded ms cheerily Apple bloom was a bit nervous but steeled herself for the reveal. So pulled of the sheet hiding the machine. "Um. What is that supposed to be?" Asked scootaloo "I was right! Said ms cheerily "back to class everypony!" After class was done, apple bloom decided to do some experimenting by buying some metal scraps and wires with some bits. Apple bloom returned to the farm. But as she entered the house she found applejack frowning at her. "Now listen here sugurcube. You shouldn't have taken the stuff you did. But since cutie mark related action usually happens through some sort of magic voodoo. You are off the hook. But you still need to do the chores." Said applejack "Aawww. But ah want to experiment with mah special talent!" Exclaimed apple bloom. "No buts. Do your chores now " Said applejack Apple bloom was exhausted but exited. It was double chores as it was a reasonable punishment. But now apple bloom was free to experiment as much to hearts content. But there was a problem. What to build. She thought a long time until it hit her. Applejacks hooves were starting to weaken as she bucked the apple trees so she started to build until late into the nigh. Apple bloom woke up like yesterday. She was groggy and tired. That was until she remembered what she built and got up. Renewed with energy she got out of bed and picked up her newest invention. Applejack was in the middle of bucking apples when apple bloom came running up to her. She was carrying another machine. But this time it was different. It had a harness, and had a pair of weird horseshoes attached to the harness with metal poles. "Hey sugurcube. Wacha got there?" Asked applejack. "Oh this. It's for bucking apples. The metal prevents hoof cracking. And the harness is also good protection against falling apples!" Exclaimed apple bloom "Well that's awfully kind of you to do so, but now I have ta focus on mah job ok sugurcube?" Replied applejack With that being said. applejack began to put on her new accessory, and began bucking the apple tree once again. Apple bloom was ecstatic at her succes! But she began to wonder. Could she make weapons? She knew the elements of harmony existed, but what about the time where they couldn't be used? Like when discord caused the element to not work? Or when a threat stopped them before they got to the elements? There was too many risks and potential villians that could take advantage. So she started a new experiment, on if she could make a non-lethal weapon that could stun. It was a full day experimenting on what could be done to stun ponies when she had done it! The thing that she had created was a cylindrical firing mechanism that fired cable that would electrocute your enemy. Of course there was some failure ls to her idea though. The most recent one was similar to the tazer (that's what she is going to call it) but instead of wires that would electrocute, it would fire a ball of metal faster than the speed of sound and obliterate anything infront of it. Of course she would not use it but she would keep it as it probably could be changed. As her experiments where a succes she started to go to bed. But as she was nodding off into sleep she began to wonder what to do tommorow. Meanwhile, in the distant capital of canterlot. somepony or rather something began their plans to crash a wedding. Author's Note This schedule will be all over the place but I hope you like it! P.s either next chapter or chapter 4 will be the canterlot wedding Beginning of the wedding-1 month later- It was a month after apple bloom got her cutie mark. Applejack was with her friends at a picnic. Apple bloom though was board, she had nothing to do. That was until applejack came back from the picnic with a wide grin. "Hey sugurcube, guess what?" Asked applejack "I don't know. Pinkie did somethin'?" Answered apple bloom "Well no, but pinkie is always doing something. But we are invited to ah wedding!" Exclaimed applejack "Ah wedding? That doesn't sound so exciting." Said apple bloom. "That's just it! But not any old wedding! It's a wedding for ah princess!" Exclaimed applejack "OK. That still doesn't sound so exciting aswell, but why are you so excited? It's gonna be a few months, a few days at least for it to be ready?" Asked apple bloom "Now listen here, it's not gonna be long, as it's happening tommarow!" Exclaimed applejack "Wait, tommarow! We gotta pack our things now!" Exclaimed apple bloom in a panic Applejack hadn't thought of that. Her mind was still fixated on that she was invited to a wedding. "Wait ah hadn't thought of that! We need to get to packing now!" Exclaimed applejack The train ride was chaotic yet peaceful. Apple bloom didn't pack much. Just some scrap metal, a tazer, and a fidget toy she created. Thought flowed through her mind, like how does a gramophone work, and can it be upgraded? Could it be compacted? However, before she could spiral into inventor possibility, a magic barrier passes her by. Now she doesn't know a lot about canterlot, but she knew there was no magic barrier surrounding canterlot. "Well that is new." Applejack said, as the last she was their, there wasn't a big force field surrounding all of canterlot. Apple bloom thought it was strange, why was there a force field during a wedding, unfortunately. She didn't have any answers so she went back into her thoughts. It wasn't long until the train stopped at the destination, as everypony went there separate ways, apple bloom went to her room to find her bed. Fortunately she found it easily. But what she wasn't expecting was How fancy everything looked. And apple bloom didn't like it, she was used to her workshop/bedroom that this was unacceptable. So she began working on the table in the room, "maybe i could implement my idea on compacted music!" Wonderd apple bloom aloud. -4 hours later- Apple bloom was happy. She managed to do it! It was small and could play music well, she even managed to create some sort of small speakers that would go directly into the ear! Apple bloom sighed as she looked at the clock. "Wait, it's almost TIME FOR THE PREPARATIONS!" Exclaimed apple bloom as she had no idea she was here for so long. So she hurried to pack her tazer and ran. Apple bloom was reaching her goal when she saw the door open, thinking quickly she hid. What she saw was cadence and shining armor, apple bloom sighed as it was just those two. However before Apple bloom left her hiding place she saw cadence messing with shining head. Now this freaked Apple bloom out as ponies normally don't do that. Apple bloom sufficiently freaked out she left to do some investigating. Apple bloom snuck through the halls, looking for any suspicious activities. A few minutes later her search came up with something, a neon green flash that looked like fire in one of the rooms. Sneaking up and looking through as quietly as possible, she saw a weird bug pony communicating with another bug pony through some green goop. Apple bloom now knowing something was definitely going to go wrong, she snuck into preparations right as twilight accused cadence of being evil. At this point Apple bloom believes twilight, but her friends doesn't thing so and leaves twilight. Apple bloom was about to comfort twilight when cadence enters with a look on her face. Apple bloom decides to stay hidden and saw what happened next. She saw this 'cadence' light a green fire portal under twilight, the same fire she noticed with the bug ponies. Now armed with this knowledge, she decides to try and find twilight to inform her that cadence might be an insect this entire time. Ot took almost 30 minutes to find twilight. It turns out twilight was stuffed under canterlot in a cave system, also aperently cadence is a pony and something called a 'changeling' replaced her. We were nearing the doors when we were stopped by some gaurds. "Halt, none may pase in the moment, the wedding between cadence and shining is taking affect." One of the guards said "Move! We don't have time! Said twilight in a hurry "Sorry mam, but it's the princesses orders." The other gaurd said, it was this moment I noticed an unnatural shine to his coat. So noting what I knew of bugs, I used a bottle of bug repellent. "Oh what is that stench, wait IT BURNS, AHHHHHhhh" the gaurd on the right Yelled as the other gaurd tried to keep up. "An' that's why I always keep bug spray on me at all times." Commented apple bloom as she got ready for the plan up ahead. 'My plan was flawless, fool everypony into I was cadence, trap the real cadence away, trap anypony that got too close and vuala, the perfect plan, and soon I will rule all of equestria. Just need to marry this fool and then subjugate the princesses like what I did with cadence, the-' 'Cadences' thought process was interrupted by the door being blasted open, revealing twilight. "Stop it now!" Exclaimed twilight as she blasted the door open "Are you so obsessed with with your brother that you would ruin my special day." Fake sobed the appropriate fake cadence. "Your special day? No its supposed to be my special day!" Answered the real cadence as questions were aroused by many ponies. "She is a changeling, a creature that will replace your loved ones and take your love until you are nothing." "Oh how astute of you, no matter I suppose I should introduce myself. My name is chrysalis queen of the changelings." Said the now undisguised changeling, looming over the the ponies. "And with shining armors sheild active over canterlot, you can't escape. Haaahahaha!" Chrysalis laughed as changelings all over canterlot undisguised, preparing for a take over, as the hidden apple bloom set her sights on chrysalis, aiming her tazer and fired... Author's Note Cliffhanger hah! Interlide: 200 years ago'Before ponyvile was established there lives three hives, the change hive, the glory hive, and the camo hive. These three hives lived in peace until. Queen Chrysalis came to power in the change hive, she was power hungery and planned on killing of the other two hives. She successfully raided and killed the camo hive as all they had were camouflage, however, the glory hive would not let that slide and they would take revenge. The glory hive took pride in there orange carapace, it was unlike the green carapace of the camo hive, or the black chitin on the change hive, they had a more pony outer layer and could easily blend in, but it was also sturdy, and only the sharpest of blades could puncture the skin. So the glory hive gathered there forces and fought the change hive. It was grueling, taking the lives of hundreds of changelings, but the glory hive won, but only barely. They had to scatter throughout equestria, thankfully because of the orange skin they blended right in. Of course the queen stayed, she was lonely, until a expedition went into her resting place, the queen was unique, instead of orange skin, she had green. The settlers where having trouble getting food so the queen help them by farming apples, starting the town of ponyvile.' Granny smith smiled as she read through her journal of times long past as she could sense the change hive rising again. She opened her eyes to see she was stuck and so was everypony else, even the princesses where stuck, but only she was the only one awake, she knew she had to do something. So she decided to observe her surroundings, there where only two changeling gaurds, and it looks like an hour has passed, it also appears that the princesses powers where being controlled to move the sun and moon automatically. Thankfully the two gaurds where playing an intense game of uno. "NO! YOU CANT DO THAT, STACKING DOESNT APPLY!" One of the gaurds yelled at the other. "YES IT DOES! ITS COMMON KNOWLEDGE!" The other Yelled. "JUST TAKE YOUR CARDS!" "WHAT ABOUT EARLIER! I TRIED STACKING AND YOU SAID IT DOESN'T APPLY!" The initial gaurd continued from earlier. A very heated game of uno. It hissed at her as she panicked, she tried to run but it had her at a disadvantage, so it try to break both her legs to make it so she couldn't run, thankfully it didn't succeed, or at least that's what she thought as she pulled out her tazer and knocked it out. Thankfully apple bloom snuck into her room wothout any more encounters, she had an idea, what if she could use machines to augment her body, starting with her leg as it was now broken at the joint so she ventured in, finding her equipment and started to pack as her room was not safe. Apple bloom made her way to the crystal caverns underneath canterlot as it had many hiding spot she could set up. Unfortunately though, was when she found the caverns where being gaurded. So, having no choice, she tried to sneak her way past the gaurd, the key word being tried. "Who's there, don't try to move." A changeling said as it moved to her hiding location, she panicked and grabbed a screwdriver and lunged at the changeling. "Hey what the-". Was all the changeling could get out before Apple bloom managed to stab the changeling. The changeling stumbled back before recovering, and unlike apple bloom, the changeling had no qualms about killing, so the changeling got the screwdriver out of its shell and tried to stab apple bloom. Thankfully, apple blooms instinct kicked in and she dogged out of lethal harm. However her eye was damaged beyond healing by the screwdriver. She barely muffled her scream as she pulled the screwdriver out and stabbed the changling again, this time in the eye and into it's brain, killing it instantly. Apple bloom was freaking out, she had just killed a living being. Sure it was trying to kill her but still! She was a murderer, a killer! Apple bloom was spiraling until she heard changelings in the distance, so she quickly got her things, and ran until she found a hiding spot 3 days later Chrysalis was confused and angry, it started with the disappearance of one of her prisoners escaping, 'she had yet to punish them', then a changeling was found dead in the cavern, which was bad enough, but more dead was found there with strange holes in their head, which goes all the way through the brain. She could not figure out what weapon did that. It was too precise to be a spear, yet too small to be magic. Chrysalis's thoughts were interrupted by one of the drones. "Your majesty, petmision to speak about the new reports." "Permission granted." Chrysalis answered as she wanted to know who killed so many changelings. "We have found ten more dead, all in a group all one of which seems to have died looking more like cheese than changelings, and one who was crushed by something, we couldn't tell but it was heavy enough to turn a changeling into liquid." Chrysalis growled under her breath. Whoever this thing is, it is doing a lot of damage to her troops. She needed to find whoever was doing this so she could torture them. But for now, she did some investigating, and apparently, the escapee is friends with another pony they have captured. So she has an idea. Apple bloom wiped the sweat from her brow. She had just finished her magnum opus, she did test fire it at some unlucky changelings she had captured, unfortunately she had become rather intimate with killing, but now it is complete. The machine looked and functioned as a suit of armor, however, this suit has guns and hydrologics that is very powerful. She knew she was ready to save everypony. Apple bloom was happy with how the m.f.p. worked, the acronym stands for, mechanical-suit for pony usage, the suit was built to kill. Apple bloom got into the suit and started her rampage. Chrysalis was sitting in her throne room with the barely living pony when she heard a commotion. But before Chrysalis could do anything, a giant metal... thing crashed through the door like it was tissue paper. "What are you!" Chrysalis screamed as she had no idea what this thing is. Rather than explaining what it was though, it decided to punch her chrough canterlot, and into the air. Apple bloom was infuriated, her best friend laid in a puddle of her own blood, her pristine white coat covered in red. All apple bloom could see was red as she chased after Chrysalis. Her suit propelling her at Chrysalis with blinding speed, hitting Chrysalis with the power of a train, launching Chrysalis into one of the supports under canterlot. The speed of which Chrysalis was moving, almost completely destroyed the support, damaging Chrysalis, and causing all of canterlot to shake, awakening the captive ponies. As the two fought in the sky and under canterlot, the other ponies got out of there pod thingies, and started to evacuate the city, all except rarity as sweetie belle was missing. So rarity searched the area until she found a heavily wounded sweetie on the floor in the throne room, but before rarity could so anything, the whole of canterlot shook with the intensity of an earthquake. Rarity thinking fast, took sweetie in her magic and ran to the trains to depart from canterlot as the castle fell behind her. Apple bloom was exhausted, but so was Chrysalis. Despite the strength and endurance the suit gave her, she was still a young filly. But the same couldn't be said for Chrysalis as she was heavily damaged. All apple bloom needed to do was to hit her one last time, as she had ran out of bullets a while ago. Chrysalis wasn't doing good, she was heavily damaged and she needed to leave the area soon. So she did something before this metallic behemoth struck her down, she teleported out of its sight and called a retreat from canterlot as it started to fall off the mountain. Celestia and luna where glad all of there ponies escaped, the only pony missing was apple bloom. Of course applejack was freaking out as her little sister was missing, while big mac tried to comfort her and try not to freak out himself. New sequelThe sequel is called 'rebuilding for war'

They did this 2 more times in an hour. But when they swap once more she snuck in. It was nearly a complete void in the shed. But she found the box of broken tools. As she rummaged through the box she found the shovel head. but it was buried under the other tools. So she had to pull with all her filly earth pony might to get it out. Unfortunately it made a lot of noise, so when she got the shovel big mac started to investigate. Thinking quickly, apple bloom hid in an empty box. When she heard big mac leaving apple bloom sighed as she was almost caught. With shovel in hoof she snuck out and ran into her room. As apple bloom gathered the collected broken stuff into a pile. Her lack of sleep was showing as it was at least a day of non-stop hiding, stess, and collecting that was taking a toll. She was half aware when she started constructing the thing before passing out. Apple bloom woke up. She was groggy and slow. When she got up though she found a weird construction in front of her. It had the plow as a sort of anchor. The moter from the gramophone was attached to an arm holding the shovel head. And a switch to presumably turn it on or off. She had no recollection of making this thing so she took it outside to see what it does. She was up earlier than normal so she had some time before having to go to school. So not knowing what it does or if it'll even do anything she places it on the ground and turned it on. To her astonishment it started to dig the ground like it was being controlled by a unicorn. She was flabbergasted that she created this while tired. That's when she felt a tingle on her flank. she was confused until she looked back and found her cutie mark. It was a picture of a zap apple with a bit mark taken out of it. She was ecstatic and squealed for joy rushing of to show applejack and anyone that would listen. Chapter 2"Well twi It was a long day. First the top boxes above the plow in the barn somehow fell down and the old plow was now gone. So I went to get some glue from the closet to fix some of the broken glass while big mac kept watch of the barn. But when I got to the closet, some of the old rusty screws where gone. Me and big mac suspected it was somepony trying to prank us probably rainbow dash so we made shifts between the shed and the barn. It was late into the day, almost night when big mac said he heard a noise. But when he came back from the shed he said nopony was there but the broken shovel head was gone. So when it got late we went back into the house where we found the new broken gramophone was gone. Granny smith said she didn't see anypony so we decided to cut our loses and he went back to sleep when I decided I wanted to with you and just unload. Thanks twi, I needed this but I'll be going back to the barn to get some sleep" explained applejack as she walked back to the barn Applejack was awoken by a joyful yell. 'It was going to be a long day.' Applejack thought. Applejack made her way down and through the door. Where she came to a perplexing sight. Apple bloom had her cutie mark and was prancing around a machine of all the missing items from the day before. But it was put together weirdly and the oddest thing, it was moving the shovel as if it was being controlled by a unicorn. Before applejack could question apple bloom She rushed up to applejack exclaiming she had gotten her cutie mark before rushing off into town. Applejack sighed as this was not surprising for appl blooms reaction. Apple bloom was happy. She had gotten her cutie mark a few hours ago and was now in school showing off her new creation. "Allright apple bloom will you show us what you have made?" Asked Ms cheerily "I bet it's some trash in a pile!" snarked diamond tiara "Now that isnt how you treat other students diamond!" Scolded ms cheerily Apple bloom was a bit nervous but steeled herself for the reveal. So pulled of the sheet hiding the machine. "Um. What is that supposed to be?" Asked scootaloo "I was right! It is just a pile of scrap!" Exclaimed diamond tiara as she started laughing That was until apple bloom turned on the machine. Everypony went quiet as it started to dig the tub of dirt underneath it. It was quiet for some time before diamond tiara said something. "So it's a pile of scrap with a unicorn controlling the shovel. That's nice, who did you rope in to help? Also what with the cloak?" Asked diamond tiara "There is nopony controlling it! Also I wanted this to be a suprise." Said apple bloom as she tossed her cloak to the side, revealing her cutie mark for everypony to see. It was an image of a zap apple with a bite taken out of it. Everypony (except for diamond and silver) ooohd and aahd at it before somepony Asked. "Yeah but what does it mean?" "Well ah don't know mahself. But I got it after I built this thing so ah think it's for building machines like this but ah don't really know." Answered apple bloom "Well I think it's wonderful." Said ms cheerily "back to class everypony!" After class was done, apple bloom decided to do some experimenting by buying some metal scraps and wires with some bits. Apple bloom returned to the farm. But as she entered the house she found applejack frowning at her. "Now listen here sugurcube. You shouldn't have taken the stuff you did. But since cutie mark related action usually happens through some sort of magic voodoo. You are off the hook. But you still need to do the chores." Said applejack "Aawww. But ah want to experiment with mah special talent!" Exclaimed apple bloom. "No buts. Do your chores now " Said applejack Apple bloom was exhausted but exited. It was double chores as it was a reasonable punishment. But now apple bloom was free to experiment as much to hearts content. But there was a problem. What to build. She thought a long time until it hit her. Applejacks hooves were starting to weaken as she bucked the apple trees so she started to build until late into the nigh. Apple bloom woke up like yesterday. She was groggy and tired. That was until she remembered what she built and got up. Renewed with energy she got out of bed and picked up her newest invention. Applejack was in the middle of bucking apples when apple bloom came running up to her. She was carrying another machine. But this time it was different. It had a harness, and had a pair of weird horseshoes attached to the harness with metal poles. "Hey sugurcube. Wacha got there?" Asked applejack. "Oh this. It's for bucking apples. The metal prevents hoof cracking. And the harness is also good protection against falling apples!" Exclaimed apple bloom "Well that's awfully kind of you to do so, but now I have ta focus on mah job ok sugurcube?" Replied applejack With that being said. applejack began to put on her new accessory, and began bucking the apple tree once again. Apple bloom was ecstatic at her succes! But she began to wonder. Could she make weapons? She knew the elements of harmony existed, but what about the time where they couldn't be used? Like when discord caused the element to not work? Or when a threat stopped them before they got to the elements? There was too many risks and potential villians that could take advantage. So she started a new experiment, on if she could make a non-lethal weapon that could stun. It was a full day experimenting on what could be done to stun ponies when she had done it! The thing that she had created was a cylindrical firing mechanism that fired cable that would electrocute your enemy. Of course there was some failure ls to her idea though. The most recent one was similar to the tazer (that's what she is going to call it) but instead of wires that would electrocute, it would fire a ball of metal faster than the speed of sound and obliterate anything infront of it. Of course she would not use it but she would keep it as it probably could be changed. As her experiments where a succes she started to go to bed. But as she was nodding off into sleep she began to wonder what to do tommorow. Meanwhile, in the distant capital of canterlot. somepony or rather something began their plans to crash a wedding. Beginning of the wedding-1 month later- It was a month after apple bloom got her cutie mark. Applejack was with her friends at a picnic. Apple bloom though was board, she had nothing to do. That was until applejack came back from the picnic with a wide grin. "Hey sugurcube, guess what?" Asked applejack "I don't know. Pinkie did somethin'?" Answered apple bloom "Well no, but pinkie is always doing something. But we are invited to ah wedding!" Exclaimed applejack "Ah wedding? That doesn't sound so exciting." Said apple bloom. "That's just it! But not any old wedding! It's a wedding for ah princess!" Exclaimed applejack "OK. That still doesn't sound so exciting aswell, but why are you so excited? It's gonna be a few months, a few days at least for it to be ready?" Asked apple bloom "Now listen here, it's not gonna be long, as it's happening tommarow!" Exclaimed applejack "Wait, tommarow! We gotta pack our things now!" Exclaimed apple bloom in a panic Applejack hadn't thought of that. Her mind was still fixated on that she was invited to a wedding. "Wait ah hadn't thought of that! We need to get to packing now!" Exclaimed applejack The train ride was chaotic yet peaceful. Apple bloom didn't pack much. Just some scrap metal, a tazer, and a fidget toy she created. Thought flowed through her mind, like how does a gramophone work, and can it be upgraded? Could it be compacted? However, before she could spiral into inventor possibility, a magic barrier passes her by. Now she doesn't know a lot about canterlot, but she knew there was no magic barrier surrounding canterlot. "Well that is new." Applejack said, as the last she was their, there wasn't a big force field surrounding all of canterlot. Apple bloom thought it was strange, why was there a force field during a wedding, unfortunately. She didn't have any answers so she went back into her thoughts. It wasn't long until the train stopped at the destination, as everypony went there separate ways, apple bloom went to her room to find her bed. Fortunately she found it easily. But what she wasn't expecting was How fancy everything looked. And apple bloom didn't like it, she was used to her workshop/bedroom that this was unacceptable. So she began working on the table in the room, "maybe i could implement my idea on compacted music!" Wonderd apple bloom aloud. -4 hours later- Apple bloom was happy. She managed to do it! It was small and could play music well, she even managed to create some sort of small speakers that would go directly into the ear! Apple bloom sighed as she looked at the clock. "Wait, it's almost TIME FOR THE PREPARATIONS!" Exclaimed apple bloom as she had no idea she was here for so long. So she hurried to pack her tazer and ran. Apple bloom was reaching her goal when she saw the door open, thinking quickly she hid. What she saw was cadence and shining armor, apple bloom sighed as it was just those two. However before Apple bloom left her hiding place she saw cadence messing with shining head. Now this freaked Apple bloom out as ponies normally don't do that. Apple bloom sufficiently freaked out she left to do some investigating. Apple bloom snuck through the halls, looking for any suspicious activities. A few minutes later her search came up with something, a neon green flash that looked like fire in one of the rooms. Sneaking up and looking through as quietly as possible, she saw a weird bug pony communicating with another bug pony through some green goop. Apple bloom now knowing something was definitely going to go wrong, she snuck into preparations right as twilight accused cadence of being evil. At this point Apple bloom believes twilight, but her friends doesn't thing so and leaves twilight. Apple bloom was about to comfort twilight when cadence enters with a look on her face. Apple bloom decides to stay hidden and saw what happened next. She saw this 'cadence' light a green fire portal under twilight, the same fire she noticed with the bug ponies. Now armed with this knowledge, she decides to try and find twilight to inform her that cadence might be an insect this entire time. Ot took almost 30 minutes to find twilight. It turns out twilight was stuffed under canterlot in a cave system, also aperently cadence is a pony and something called a 'changeling' replaced her. We were nearing the doors when we were stopped by some gaurds. "Halt, none may pase in the moment, the wedding between cadence and shining is taking affect." One of the guards said "Move! We don't have time! Said twilight in a hurry "Sorry mam, but it's the princesses orders." The other gaurd said, it was this moment I noticed an unnatural shine to his coat. So noting what I knew of bugs, I used a bottle of bug repellent. "Oh what is that stench, wait IT BURNS, AHHHHHhhh" the gaurd on the right Yelled as the other gaurd tried to keep up. "An' that's why I always keep bug spray on me at all times." Commented apple bloom as she got ready for the plan up ahead. 'My plan was flawless, fool everypony into I was cadence, trap the real cadence away, trap anypony that got too close and vuala, the perfect plan, and soon I will rule all of equestria. Just need to marry this fool and then subjugate the princesses like what I did with cadence, the-' 'Cadences' thought process was interrupted by the door being blasted open, revealing twilight. "Stop it now!" Exclaimed twilight as she blasted the door open "Are you so obsessed with with your brother that you would ruin my special day." Fake sobed the appropriate fake cadence. "Your special day? No its supposed to be my special day!" Answered the real cadence as questions were aroused by many ponies. "She is a changeling, a creature that will replace your loved ones and take your love until you are nothing." "Oh how astute of you, no matter I suppose I should introduce myself. My name is chrysalis queen of the changelings." Said the now undisguised changeling, looming over the the ponies. "And with shining armors sheild active over canterlot, you can't escape. Haaahahaha!" Chrysalis laughed as changelings all over canterlot undisguised, preparing for a take over, as the hidden apple bloom set her sights on chrysalis, aiming her tazer and fired... Interlide: 200 years ago'Before ponyvile was established there lives three hives, the change hive, the glory hive, and the camo hive. These three hives lived in peace until. Queen Chrysalis came to power in the change hive, she was power hungery and planned on killing of the other two hives. She successfully raided and killed the camo hive as all they had were camouflage, however, the glory hive would not let that slide and they would take revenge. The glory hive took pride in there orange carapace, it was unlike the green carapace of the camo hive, or the black chitin on the change hive, they had a more pony outer layer and could easily blend in, but it was also sturdy, and only the sharpest of blades could puncture the skin. So the glory hive gathered there forces and fought the change hive. It was grueling, taking the lives of hundreds of changelings, but the glory hive won, but only barely. They had to scatter throughout equestria, thankfully because of the orange skin they blended right in. Of course the queen stayed, she was lonely, until a expedition went into her resting place, the queen was unique, instead of orange skin, she had green. The settlers where having trouble getting food so the queen help them by farming apples, starting the town of ponyvile.' Granny smith smiled as she read through her journal of times long past as she could sense the change hive rising again. Author's Note Hah! plot twist right before the second part of the wedding
The fall of canterlot...or that's what she planned on doing. Before the tazer could hit its intended target, a changeling jumped in the way, blocking the shot. Apple bloom panicked as the queen looked at her. "Oh, a fighter I see. Well no matter, you will fall like everypony else, you are insignificant." Queen chrysalis said as changelings flooded into the room, capturing panicking ponies in a weird viscous goo that hardens in seconds. Apple bloom was panicking as she to was ingulfed in changeling slime, sealing her off from the world. Apple bloom came to when something hit her. She opened her eyes to see she was stuck and so was everypony else, even the princesses where stuck, but only she was the only one awake, she knew she had to do something. So she decided to observe her surroundings, there where only two changeling gaurds, and it looks like an hour has passed, it also appears that the princesses powers where being controlled to move the sun and moon automatically. Thankfully the two gaurds where playing an intense game of uno. "NO! YOU CANT DO THAT, STACKING DOESNT APPLY!" One of the gaurds yelled at the other. "YES IT DOES! ITS COMMON KNOWLEDGE!" The other Yelled. "JUST TAKE YOUR CARDS!" "WHAT ABOUT EARLIER! I TRIED STACKING AND YOU SAID IT DOESN'T APPLY!" The initial gaurd continued from earlier. A very heated game of uno. But this gave enough cover to escape and land silently. She didn't have a straight plan but she had an idea. Apple bloom snuck through the halls when a changeling saw her. It hissed at her as she panicked, she tried to run but it had her at a disadvantage, so it try to break both her legs to make it so she couldn't run, thankfully it didn't succeed, or at least that's what she thought as she pulled out her tazer and knocked it out. However as she did that a flare of pain made itself known, she looked down to see it broken and red with irritation. Thankfully apple bloom snuck into her room wothout any more encounters, she had an idea, what if she could use machines to augment her body, starting with her leg as it was now broken at the joint so she ventured in, finding her equipment and started to pack as her room was not safe. Apple bloom made her way to the crystal caverns underneath canterlot as it had many hiding spot she could set up. Unfortunately though, was when she found the caverns where being gaurded. So, having no choice, she tried to sneak her way past the gaurd, the key word being tried. "Who's there, don't try to move." A changeling said as it moved to her hiding location, she panicked and grabbed a screwdriver and lunged at the changeling. "Hey what the-". Was all the changeling could get out before Apple bloom managed to stab the changeling. The changeling stumbled back before recovering, and unlike apple bloom, the changeling had no qualms about killing, so the changeling got the screwdriver out of its shell and tried to stab apple bloom. Thankfully, apple blooms instinct kicked in and she dogged out of lethal harm. However her eye was damaged beyond healing by the screwdriver. She barely muffled her scream as she pulled the screwdriver out and stabbed the changling again, this time in the eye and into it's brain, killing it instantly. Apple bloom was freaking out, she had just killed a living being. Sure it was trying to kill her but still! She was a murderer, a killer! Apple bloom was spiraling until she heard changelings in the distance, so she quickly got her things, and ran until she found a hiding spot 3 days later Chrysalis was confused and angry, it started with the disappearance of one of her prisoners escaping, 'she had yet to punish them', then a changeling was found dead in the cavern, which was bad enough, but more dead was found there with strange holes in their head, which goes all the way through the brain. She could not figure out what weapon did that. It was too precise to be a spear, yet too small to be magic. Chrysalis's thoughts were interrupted by one of the drones. "Your majesty, petmision to speak about the new reports." "Permission granted." Chrysalis answered as she wanted to know who killed so many changelings. "We have found ten more dead, all in a group all one of which seems to have died looking more like cheese than changelings, and one who was crushed by something, we couldn't tell but it was heavy enough to turn a changeling into liquid." Chrysalis growled under her breath. Whoever this thing is, it is doing a lot of damage to her troops. She needed to find whoever was doing this so she could torture them. But for now, she did some investigating, and apparently, the escapee is friends with another pony they have captured. So she has an idea. Apple bloom wiped the sweat from her brow. She had just finished her magnum opus, she did test fire it at some unlucky changelings she had captured, unfortunately she had become rather intimate with killing, but now it is complete. The machine looked and functioned as a suit of armor, however, this suit has guns and hydrologics that is very powerful. She knew she was ready to save everypony. Apple bloom was happy with how the m.f.p. worked, the acronym stands for, mechanical-suit for pony usage, the suit was built to kill. Apple bloom got into the suit and started her rampage. Chrysalis was sitting in her throne room with the barely living pony when she heard a commotion. But before Chrysalis could do anything, a giant metal... thing crashed through the door like it was tissue paper. "What are you!" Chrysalis screamed as she had no idea what this thing is. Rather than explaining what it was though, it decided to punch her chrough canterlot, and into the air. Apple bloom was infuriated, her best friend laid in a puddle of her own blood, her pristine white coat covered in red. All apple bloom could see was red as she chased after Chrysalis. Her suit propelling her at Chrysalis with blinding speed, hitting Chrysalis with the power of a train, launching Chrysalis into one of the supports under canterlot. The speed of which Chrysalis was moving, almost completely destroyed the support, damaging Chrysalis, and causing all of canterlot to shake, awakening the captive ponies. As the two fought in the sky and under canterlot, the other ponies got out of there pod thingies, and started to evacuate the city, all except rarity as sweetie belle was missing. So rarity searched the area until she found a heavily wounded sweetie on the floor in the throne room, but before rarity could so anything, the whole of canterlot shook with the intensity of an earthquake. Rarity thinking fast, took sweetie in her magic and ran to the trains to depart from canterlot as the castle fell behind her. Apple bloom was exhausted, but so was Chrysalis. Despite the strength and endurance the suit gave her, she was still a young filly. But the same couldn't be said for Chrysalis as she was heavily damaged. All apple bloom needed to do was to hit her one last time, as she had ran out of bullets a while ago. Chrysalis wasn't doing good, she was heavily damaged and she needed to leave the area soon. So she did something before this metallic behemoth struck her down, she teleported out of its sight and called a retreat from canterlot as it started to fall off the mountain. Celestia and luna where glad all of there ponies escaped, the only pony missing was apple bloom. Of course applejack was freaking out as her little sister was missing, while big mac tried to comfort her and try not to freak out himself.
