Pumpkin Cake struggles with socialization and prefers to be on her own, leading to her being homeschooled. It seemed like a simple solution. Pumpkin is a good student, and she's got Pinkie Pie to help her while her brother attends public school.

All seemed well and easy, until Pumpkin's schooling style proves to be more than harmful for her and her brother.

Now carrying the heavy weight of Pinkie Pie's secret, and needing to be her accomplices, Pumpkin and Pound are stuck trying to figure out how to escape their prison without getting their hooves dirty. But Pumpkin Cake is unsure of how to do this, especially with several ponies' lives on the line.
