Barely cracking my eye, the bright lights in the room burned my retinas. Quickly shut my eyes, after a few seconds of pain from the bright lights, but I know I must get a better understanding of my surroundings.

After a Quick Look around, it’s … a hospital room?
A fairly small, square room; a window to my left, with the blinds shut, a plant to my northwest, medical equipments right next to me, and a door to my east. Not really much to look at, nothing to help me know where exactly I’m at.
I see.. shadows? Yea, I see a few shadows outside my door.
They did say they won’t allow interactions with me, I presume, but I have to know what happened.
”Oh cmonnnnnn! We could introduce ourselves to show we mean no harm! We could have a fun party to have it introduce it to everyone in town!

The tattoo..? is a red medical red cross symbol. Maybe it’s an emotional support animal for the kids here-

“HUH?? Waitwaitwait, You can talk?!” I was so shocked to hear words, actual words, come out of the pony’s mouth. I swear I’m dreaming right now, right? Fell asleep weird and in dreaming weird. Yeaaa, yea that makes sense
Testing my theory, I did what I’ve been told every time to test if I’m dreaming: I pinch myself.
It stings, but I still see the pony and the hospital room. Am.. am I not dreaming?? But that doesn’t make any sense? Did I actually take a hallucinogen, or did I eat something laced?
“Hey! Be careful what you’re doing! You might open your wounds again.” The, nurse?, pony said. Rather hostile than I was expecting, it actually caught me off guard
Wait wounds? Wait, that makes sense on why I’m in a hospital in general
“How did I get here? What happened to me? Who are you, and how can you speak??” My curiosity and, unfortunately, panic grew steadily. As I’m seeing the impossible right in front of me: An actual talking pony, or animal in general!
“You need to slow down on those questions… sir? I’ll answer your questions soon, but I need more information on you, as you have no identity at all in Ponyville or anywhere else in all of Equestria!”
Ponyville? Equestria? What the hell are those names? I’ve never heard of them before
I still can’t believe what I’m looking at, even hearing at this very point! At least she(?) knows I’m intelligent, so I won’t be tested as an animal.. right?
“Ok, umm, well to start, I can tell you my name is Jax… uhhh, do you just need my name or do you need more info?”
“Obviously I need more, but I can infer that, based on your voice, you are a male. I obviously don’t have to ask, but obviously you are not any creature I have seen at all. So, please tell me, what are you exactly?” The nurse pony asked, with a bit of suspicion, but more curiosity.
“I can’t be believe I’m talking to a pony, but here goes… I guess you can say I’m a human, or “homosapiens” if you want to get all scientifically, well, I think that’s the scientific names for me..” I said, with an awkward shrug. “Sorry for not giving you more details on my species, I not the smartest to say the least, so you’re stuck with basic info.”
I wanted to at least make a joke, make her laugh or smile, since I’m not reallyyyy the best with handling things like this.
“Well, I’m sure Twilight will have a field day with you…”
Twlight? And what does she mean by, “she’ll have a field day with you.” Oh no, please don’t tell I’m gonna get experimented on.”
“Umm, may I get your name? Since you know mine now?” I know I sounded pathetic; the thought of being experimented on against my will brought a chill down my spine. “Oh! Yea, I did say I’ll answer your questions after all, Nurse Redheart is what you’ll refer to me as. As for your where you are at, you are Ponyville hospital, you were brought by six other ponies her. You were in critical condition from your wounds. They said they found you in the Everfree Forest, all bloodied up, with small hole wounds in these areas…” Redheart points(?) with her hoofs at my stomach, left arm, and right thigh,”..I don’t think I should ask, but can you remember what happened?”
“I… I don’t remember. No, I don’t remember what happened to me. I don’t know how I got here, why I was injured. I don’t think I belong here…” As hard as I tried, I couldn’t remember a single thing. What happened to me?

“SUPRISEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!”
I couldn’t even react when a pink blur ran up to my bed and slammed into me. Giving me a soul-crushing hug.
“ACK! Urg.. wha- who are- OW! That’s hurting me bones!” I could barely form a sentence from that hug. Honestly thinking that some of my bones might be cracked. But yet, honestly felt nice to receive the hug, even if it hurts like hell.
Good thing I’m in a hospital right now… I thought, giggling in my head.
“Pinkie Pie! What the hay did I say to you and your friends about barging in here?? I told you all to not enter here!” Nurse Redheart exclaimed. In her attempt to pry off the bright pink blur off of me, guess her name is Pinkie Pie, Pinkie held on like I was gonna run away or something. Redheart’s attempt was all but futile, as Pinkie stay welded onto me.
“Oh cmonnnnnnn! We found it all hurt and stuff, it could be scared of everything! Well, more like it appeared right in front of us… We need to introduce it to everypony in town, to show that we are safe!” Pinkie responded. The only thing I fear is that my bones will break under the hug I’m in.
As much as I want to talk, the hug was rather comforting, in a weird way, but good. I stayed silent, hearing pairs of footsteps running to the door, and a… whoosh sound? I barely got a peak to see.. a purple, lavender?, pony, with a horn on its head? A unicorn? How the hell does a mythical creature exist?. Then, the door slammed opened to show four other ponies: A pure white unicorn with purple mane, curled cartoonishly, a light blue… pegasus?? ok, never mind that, with a rainbow colored mane; an orange colored pony with a cowboy hat, no external features, and a yellow colored pony, another Pegasus??
Where the hell am I? I’m where mythical creatures exist, and talking ponies. What’s next, a dragon is gonna come through that door too? Lo and behold, and small purple dragon ran through the door, seemed it lagged behind.
You're absolutely shitting me, right? I mentally face palmed myself, as I’m still in the iron grasp a Pinkie Pie. ”Okkkkk, Pinkie, you can let go of me now. I swear I’m not terrified of you all. since none of you have tried to hurt me in anyway.”
“Foineeeeee, but I expect you to return the favor of that comfort hug!” Pinkie then jumped off of the bed and stood by the new guests.
…. It’s completely silent now, with Pinkie and her new guests staring at me, and Redheart checking my body, in case if there’s any new injury or reopened any.”Soooo, I guess we should start with introduction . Oh, and a thank you for saving me. I don’t know what happened to me, but thank you.” It’s least I can tell them, since my predicament is… unique, to say the least.

Hey ya’ll! Sorry for not updating this story in a fat while, but I got this now, so it’s better late than never!
Constructed criticism is always welcome, so please tell me if there’s anything I can improve on! Or if I made any mistake.
2: Guess Introductions are in Order
I decided to start off with the introduction, since I’m most likely the quickest,”To start-“
“Ok.. You seem to be in stable condition still,” Nurse Redheart interjected, ”I’m needed elsewhere, so I’ll step out and check on you for the last time today. You should be able to be released some time tomorrow or the day after.” I was admittedly excited to leave this hospital, being cramped on here isn’t helping my mental state.
“BUT, you seven-“ Redheart then turned to the other guests,”by the time I return to this room, you all have to be gone. He still needs to rest from his recovery. I am surprised that you aren’t still asleep, as your injuries were severe.” She then walks to the door,”I’ll be back to check on you, please be careful.”, and leaves.
How severely was I injured? I don’t feel any pain, surprisingly.
“Ok… well, anyway-“ I started over with the introduction,”-you all can call me Jax, and I’m pretty sure I’m the only species to have exist here, according to Nurse Redheart.” Damn.. That was honestly weird to say that I’m the ‘only person of my species’. “What about you seven?” I asked them.
“I can introduce myself first-“ said the lavender unicorn,”-my name is Twilight Sparkle. It’s great to see you in better condition than what we found you in! I hope you don’t mind, but I have several questions I have to ask you!” Twilight then.. teleports?? what seems to be a notepad and a quill to her. I laughed a little nervously, “Hehehe, uhhhh, how about I get acquainted with others, and I’ll try to answer your questions.” Twilight nodded and seemed to have calmed down.. for now.
“Ah’ can go next-“ said the light brown pony with a.. southern accent,”-The name’s AppleJack, and it’s a fine time meetin’ you. I would give you a good ol’ Apple Family Hoofshake, but I might end up breaking’ some bones.” Apple Family Hookshake? Guess it might be good I’m in a hospital bed”Nice to meet you AppleJack, Imma guess I’m not too far off the mark to say that you have something to do with Apples?” I asked her, “You darn right I do, sugar cube!” Applejack exclaimed, as she stands up and have a proud look on her face.” My family and I run Sweet Apple Orchard, sellin’ the best apples in all of Equestria! When you’re out of here, you should come by and visit, you can even try out some of our best food; it’ll be on the house, so don’t you worry!” Applejack began to snicker at her little joke. “I’ll definitely take you up on that offer, haven’t had a good apple in a while, better be honest on the best apples~.” I jokingly said.
“Before she gets caught into her farm and-“she then shivers in.. disgust?,”-dirty work, I shall introduce myself now-“ said the white unicorn, with an accent I can describe as… “rich”? Or more like an accent for more upper-class”-My name is Rarity, I run the Carousel Boutique here in Ponyville.” Rarity then bowed to me. Can’t really do much, so I just bowed my head towards her,”It’s nice to meet you too. If you don’t mind me asking, what’s the Carousel Boutique?” I asked Rarity. Judging by her look, she seemed excited to tell me.”Oohooho! I can’t wait to tell you all the different clothes I can make for you! *ahem*, Apologies, Jax, couldn’t help myself on thinking of different clothes I can make you! But yes, I design and create clothes; from small to big, simple to complex, one color or multiple, I can find ways to create the perfect outfit!” Rarity is practically dancing? Or is it prancing? Which ever it is, she’s definitely getting excited.”I must say, however, the clothing you were wearing when we-“ Rarity shivers, seeming to remember how they found me,”-found you, was rather a unique design, it wasn’t the best looking for my eyes, but it seemed more uniform-ish. Would you like to tell us?
”Uniform-ish”? What does she mean by- Ohhhhh! My digis, It was inspection day today, or yesterday, or… whatever how long ago that was. But why was I injured, and how the hell did get here?

“Huh, wha- what’s going??” I suddenly heard my name being yelled, startling me a little bit.”What happened?” I asked again. Twilight spoke up,”Are you ok Jax?! You’re heartbeat suddenly spiked and it looked like you were on the verge of panicking!”
I was? What happened to me? I don’t remember why I would be panicking… it happens when Rarity brought up my uniform. Trying to remember what happened only caused me to get a headache, which only got worse when I tried to get past it.”I… I don’t know what happened-“ Taking a few deep breaths in, I continued,”- I’m ok now guys, sorry for that happening. I don’t know what happened.”
Looking up, I saw Rarity, twilight, AppleJack, and Pinkie walk over to my bed; I also see the rainbow-mane Pegasus and the pink-maned Pegasus close to each other. Looks like… the rainbow one is comforting the pink Pegasus. Returning my focus back to the four near my bed: Pinkie jumped up on my bed hugged me, not tight as I was expecting, but more comforting. Looking at the other three, their eyes had a hint of concern look in them; AppleJack put her hoof on my hand,”When Rarity mentioned your clothing, your heart rate monitor started to go beat faster than a day of apple buckin’. Your face also contorted into fear or anger, like you witnessed somethin’.” Applejack voiced is actually calming me down more, also Pinkie’s warmth from her hug.
“I, uh, yea. Yea, I’m fine now. I don’t know what happened, I just blanked out.” I said to them. For the life of me, I can’t remember what I was thinking or why I was panicking. Just thinking of it is straining my brain.
The rainbow-maned pony then speaks up,” Yea, dude, you were making some freaky faces. And the way we found you was gnarly, too. It looked like to fight some big, tough creature to the death. Even terrifying Fluttershy here.” She then points to the yellow Pegasus. So her name is Fluttershy, I said to myself. “I’m so sorry for scaring you Fluttershy,” I apologized to here, in the softest voice I can. I see her look up at me, where I can get a good look at her eyes: her pupils were redilating from pin size, to a normal pupil size,”It’.. It’s ok Mr. Jax, I just saw a look at your teeth, and I… I got scared that..-“ I can barely even hear her of what shes saying. I think she said something able my teeth? I started to lick my teeth, but I don’t feel anything different about them. “Sorry, I can’t hear you Fluttershy, you said something about my… teeth? Is that what you said?” Great, now I’m a little self-conscious that something is wrong with my teeth
Wait, when was the last time I went to a dentist? It’s been awhile…
Fluttershy then continued, interrupting my off-topic thought,”Yes, I can see that you have some sharp teeth. One that are able to.. uhm.. eat meat, like us.” Huh? I didn’t hear that last part, why did she get so quiet? I think the rainbow maned one heard her, for to her giving me a suspicious look.”Sayyyy…” the rainbow pony started,” what do you usually eat?” Is she… suspicious of me? What did Fluttershy say? I saw that the others were looking at me: Twilight looked excited, and brought out a notepad, Does she always have one on hand??, I thought to myself, Rarity and AppleJack looked curious, but with a hint of suspicion too, but it looks like Pinkie doesn’t care too much, or if she does, I couldn’t see it.
“What I eat? Like what’s my diet in general?” The rainbow point nodded slowly.”Um, diet.. diet…-“I closed my eyes as I started to think out loud,”-well, to keep things simple, I’m on omnivore; I can eat both meat and.. vegetables? I think that’s the right term.” Looking up, I see that they’re, scared? Even Pinkie looked up, but not in fear, just… neutral? Not really showing fear.
Why do they all look scared? Did I say something? I felt some nervousness creep up,”Is everything… alright?” I asked slowly…. It was silent for a few seconds, before Rarity spoke up.” You eat.. meat??” She started to look sick, and backed up a little bit. AppleJack and the rainbow pony looked at me like they were gonna fight me off I said or do something bad. Twilight quickly wrote, what I believe, what I said, and stared at me with nervousness and curiosity. Fluttershy stared at me intensely, as if she is studying me. When I stated to look at Pinkie, she suddenly spoke up,” Oh come on every pony! Jaxie won’t hurt or eat us aliveeee! If he really wanted to, he could’ve done it already. I can tell he’ll never hurt us for no reason, he’s a good pony!” Pinkie then hugged me tighter, Ack!-Shit! Why.. does she.. hug TIGHTLY! . Thankfully, she let go not too long after, giving me time to breathe. In all honesty, I’m flattered that she jumped to my defense that quick.
“And how do you know that he won’t hurt us when we are all asleep, Pinkie?” said the Rainbow pony.”’Cuzzzzzz, I got some good senses on lil ol’ Jax!” Pinkie then sat upright and looked into my eyes, I didn’t like one bit on what I was seeing.”I’ll prove it to you, girls!” As Pinkie said that, she started to reach towards my stomach.”Wait, What are-“ before I could even finish my sentence, she started tickling me.”Ack! AhaHAHA- Stop it, pleASE!” Despite my desperate pleas, Pinkie didn’t stop her endless assault of tickles on my poor stomach.”How the-HAHAA- are you tickling me without FINGERS- ACKHAHA.” Pinkie just looked at me and gave me a sly smirk,”Cmonnnn Jaxxieeee~ tell the girls you are allllll safe and peaceful.”
“I WILL I WILL, plEASE- HAHA- stop tickling me, and I will!” Pinkie eventually yielded her assault, and gave me time to breath, before I began,” I swear.. I am NOT.. gonna hurt anyone… you fucking suck Pinkie..” This, at least, made the others more relaxed, I heard a few giggling.
“I am glad to know that you aren’t any danger to us, but I’m sure that was known from the get-go. Buttt, you’ll definitely have to explain what you are, what you eat, and your histo-oooooo! I can teach you Equestrian history while I learn more about you!” Twilight started to mumble about ‘new knowledge’ and stuff. She’s gonna be a little disappointed that I’m not exactly best with some basic knowledge. Looking at the others, they all collectively shook their heads gently and smiled, as Twilight started to dance in place.” As much as I don’t want to be the bearer of bad news, but I ain’t the best with knowledge about history, hehe.” I scratched my head. Twilight stopping dancing-in-place and looked at me with sincere eyes,”That’s alright Jax, you can tell me what you know. I’m always happy to learn more new stuff!”
Thinking about it, I should probably explain my teeth situation,”Actually, I can quickly explain my teeth, since I can see that Fluttershy is is curious over there,” this caused Fluttershy to flush a little, and Twilight to ready her notebook and quil,”Humans are omnivores, meaning we can eat both plants and meat, our mouths both have sharp and flat teeth-“ I opened my mouth to demonstrate.”-You can see sharp ones near the front, and flatter ones in the back.” Twilight and Fluttershy were the only ones to get a closer look, while the others listened. “What kind of meat do you eat? What about plants?” Twilight questioned. Thinking about it, it’s probably best to avoid that question for now,”I can tell you two later, since I’m sure Nurse Redheart will be here soon.” Looking at the clock, it looks like to be soon 6.
Twilight looked downcast after looking at the time,” Oh darn.. I thought we would have more time to learn more…”
“You’re acting like tomorrow doesn’t exist, you can ask more tomorrow.” I told her. She looked up to you and smiled,”Yeah, you’re right Jax. We should let you rest for the day. See you-“
“Wait,” I interrupted,”I wanna see the little dragon!” I just have to talk to it before they leave.
“Hey! I may be little, but I’ll grow into a ferocious dragon!” He, judging by the voice, then put his claws on his hips, looking like a super hero. “I’m sure you will Spike,” Twilight said,” You still have tons of time to grow.” She smiled at Spike, which caused him to kick his feet in embarrassment.
“It’s nice to meet you, Spike,” I stuck my hand for handshake. He looked up and fist bumped my open hand. We both stared at each other for a bit, then at our hand and claw. We both started then started to chuckle a little.” I’ll remember next time to fist bump you.” I waved to Spike, then to the rest of the girls bye. They said their respective “goodbye” and “see you later” and left my room.
After they left, the room got quiet.. too quiet. All there was were the voices in my head, the ringing from my ear, and a nearby heart rate monitor. Beeping every so often. That’s when everything came to me six-fold
”I’m in a mysterious world, where there are taking ponies and dragons, what hell is out there?? How did I even end up here? Why was I injured? Hell, why can’t remember the moment before I got here?”All these questions were not helping me relax at all. Looking around myself, I realized that there are no wires coming out of me, but the monitor is still beeping, even rising when I started to panic. How? I had no clue. Maybe it’s magic that’s intertwined with me and monitor. That’s the only thing that makes sense.
”I have to walk around, move somewhere, can’t stay still right now” I thought to myself. I tried to move my body over to the edge of the bed, surprisingly enough, I can somewhat move my body enough to put me in a sitting position. Standing, however, not a chance. When I tried to stand, my legs instantly felt like jelly. But I’m damn stubborn, so tried to reach a railing on the bed to keep myself steady. ”At least I still have my strength in the arms” I chuckled to myself, as I stood upright, somewhat at least.
After a few minutes of steadying myself on the bed’s railing, I began to feel a little more strength in my legs. Enough to walk around, at least. Stumbling to the window, I opened the blinds to see the sun almost setting. It glowed with a warm orange, yellow color. It was really breathtaking to watch happen. To a point that I almost shed a tear.
Wiping the tear, I looked at the door and debated if I should walk around, or stay in the room… Probably best to stay here for now, don’t want to piss off any of the nurses and doctors.
