“Ugh,” Anon groaned, shuffling down the hallway and toward the kitchen. “Babe?”

Sonata and Aria appeared from the doorway ahead of him, bearing cheerful and somewhat concerned expressions respectively. “Yeah?” they asked in unison, their voices mirroring their respective demeanors.

He hadn’t necessarily wanted to get up so early, but the alluring smell of frying bacon and eggs had roused him from his restful slumber. It wasn’t like he’d had to get up, having been brought breakfast in bed on an increasingly frequent basis, but nothing quite beat dining at a table with his paramours. Grinning down at the two, seeing them eyeing his stomach, he continued on his path. While not much had changed with his living conditions, aside from his housemates being a bit more doting, he’d gone through a few interesting developments.

The day after his date with Adagio was a haze of debauchery. He didn’t remember much, although there were fleeting memories of the sirens having an absolute field day with him. The trio had set upon him like a pack of ravenous sharks, fucking him in every way imaginable, until they’d ensured he would bear their progeny. All in all, it had been a wondrously hedonistic event, though the wanton threesome had resulted in some interesting results.

He’d expected their eggs to grow slowly, something akin to a human’s gestation, but he’d been mistaken. Their ovum, each starting as roughly the size of a golf ball, swiftly grew to the size of cantaloupes within a mere two months - mercifully, he only ended up harboring a quartet of their unborn young and, if their assumptions were correct, he’d deliver them in relatively short order. Weirdly enough, as he’d quickly discovered, being knocked up wasn’t that bad!

The potion would ensure delivery was a painless and possibly even pleasant process, the sirens had been practically pampering him since the momentous occasion, and having a rather cumbersome baby bump was only mildly irritating. It was a bit inconvenient carrying around four nearly volleyball sized eggs in his gut, apparently affixed to his insides with some sort of biological adhesive, but the benefits far outweighed the costs. Sonata was even nicer than usual, Aria had been gentle and even kind to him, and Adagio fawned over him on a regular basis - in short, he was practically living like a gravid king.

“Girls,” a lilting voice intoned, as a set of fingers wrapped over his shoulder and brought him to a stop, “our dear hubby was wondering if you’d also make some pancakes.”

Glaring over at him, Aria disappeared from sight. “Fine, but he can at least put away the dishes!”

“I’ll run to the store and get some syrup!” Sonata chirped, flitting away.

Twisting his head to peer up at the afroed amazoness behind him, he smirked. “You just couldn’t have been honest, could you?”

She grinned down at him and massaged his shoulders, leaning in to kiss his cheek. “Where’s the fun in that?”

As her arms folded around him, her hands wandering down to his distended, egg-filled belly, he giggled. His life had taken a number of odd twists and turns, but starting a family with three otherworldly denizens of the deep was by far the strangest and most rewarding experience he’d ever had. Secure in her embrace, with his other pair of lovers busying themselves to make him happy, craned his head and pecked Adagio on the nose.

If things kept going the way they’d been going, with one peculiar development happening after another, he would likely be in for quite the wild ride. Though he was reluctant to get his hopes up, he would genuinely like to take their relationship to the next level. While there was nothing wrong with the comfy bit of polyamory they shared, he’d had the growing urge to make things official - well, more official than bearing their children - nevertheless, that could wait. For the time being, he was as happy as he could be with his trio of lovers…
