Unexpected Visitors to Equestria

An unknown starship crashes on Equus and its passengers must be rescued.

Nine months have passed since the Equestrian Space Force was established. Now, a starship has been picked up on radar and all attempts to contact it have failed. The ship has crashed after breaking apart on atmospheric entry. Is this an attack, or is there a different reason for this starship showing up? Can the crew be rescued successfully, and why are they here? Only one way to find out.
