Jade though just a mere child was placed on the battlefield; the war with Equesteia had been rampaging for nearly a thousand years and lives were lost and families decimated. "Jade my daughter, this war is nearing an end and our clan is growing weak. To the eyes of an Equestrian you're just a mere child."
"Father! I may be the fucking height of adolescent teen but I've done the things as an adult! I'm one hundred thirteen years old!"
"Calm thyself child, to preserve our clan we have chosen the ones who would most likely be able to adapt to a new world and we're putting them to sleep."
"I understand father, from the field I've seen those young monarchs use powerful magic...the fair-skinned one kept the sun out for two days and we lost many to the sun. The other frightens me, her skills as a warrior are unmatched thus far. She's swift and agile and she slain our best; I don't even know how she can track our speed." Jade suddenly spun around, "Father perform the ceremony to put me to sleep in a secret place! The warrior Luna is here."
Jade's father led her to a small hidden chamber in the clan home and hugged his daughter for his last time. "I'm sealing this chamber for a thousand years." Jade lay in the now closed chamber hearing her father's words as he began his incantation and was locked in a deadly dual with Luna herself. Jade wanted to join her father as her sharp hearing heard Celestia join the fray. Somewhere in the distance Starswirl using solar blasts and the other mages were doing the same.
"I'm probably the only one left of my race," Jade thought as defenseless screams were heard. The screams of her comrades and friends as they were being slaughtered. "Fuck!" mentally screamed as her body refused to move as she deeply desired to give her life so her friends could live.
The sounds of magic ravaging her home city were unsettling, pleas for mercy were ignored as people were being butchered and brutally being cut asunder. Jade hated her gifts as a vampire! Jade was born with exceptional hearing and vision, and the gift she hated the most wast being able to feel another's pain and suffering. The spell was slowing her down whilst she writhed in the pain she felt. Jade's eyes were in agonizing pain like the rest of her body.
Jade felt all the other pain fade away as the silence began to grow. Soon the pain was gone. The last sharp pain she felt Jade knew was the pain of someone getting stabbed to the hilt of a long sword then shot relentlessly with arrows. Gasping for the ease of pain her ears could still still hear her father fighting as she finally fell asleep a a quick pain - the pain of being burnt alive as the spell finished and everything was silent except the Equestrian forces lurking about.
Two thousand Years Later
Jade awakened and stood to her feet and removed her armor as she recalled the war and how it ended; however, she gripped her sword for fear of what might be awaiting her. Slipping out from the hidden chamber she saw signs of conflict in her once vibrant castle. Jade quickly ducked out of sight as she became aware of voices. "This is the Castle of the Two Sisters and where Nightmare Moon got banished to the moon. This castle once was the home of a powerful vampire lord....to this day no one knows where his last heir is hidden. Legends say that she's somewhere on the premises."
Jade saw people in odd attire and and holding small devices that she didn't know or recognize. Jade froze as she felt a hand on her shoulder. "Awesome costume for Nightmare Night!" Jade spun around and saw seven girls smiling and Jade cowered as she saw the two faces she recognized as Luna and Celestia.
"Sister.....I fear the war we fought was mis-grounded. We committed genocide, I wonder if Starswirl knows since at the time he was he'd of the castle." Jade felt a pang of anguish, the type of anguish of one who did something and now felt deep regret.
"Your highnesses, please spare me...I'll serve your house holds for the entirety of my life span." As a sign of piece Jade tossed her sword out of her reach and placed Luna's booted foot on her head. Jade felt the foot being removed and was lifted from the ground. The tears that had been held back for hundreds of years began to flow. Jade felt herself being embraced. Jade heard Celestia retrieve her tossed-away sword.
"Luna...I've texted Starswirl to come here and also the Pillars this matter needs to be put to rest. I am going to demand the truth! Jade I want to know from your own mouth since you are the only one left of your clan. Was your clan fighting the war out of malice or did our people provoke it? "
Jade being released from the hug knelt down and kept her head bowed. "Provoked Your Majesty, we had a convoy of supplies we had sent to one of your villages after we had heard it had been attacked by Yakyakistan. Your soldiers slaughtered the convoy. At this time we sent word requiring justice and the next thing we know our clans were being forced into a war we couldn't win. We held on as long as we could attempting to get piece but our diplomats never made it."
Celestia felt sick as she recalled that one vampire she had killed in the Canterlot castle was said to be a spy; however, Celestia had performed the execution herself without questions and the most brutal way possible. " Rise, you have no need to kneel or bow."
"I can't your majesties, I was told that If captured to keep this position as a sign of peace and a means to convey I'm not a threat." By this time Starswirl made an appearance and once he saw Jade he sent a burst of flame outwards. Jade accepted her fate when she saw a blur of rainbow and her body slamming to the dirt with a body trying to absorb impact. Jade looked under her frame to see who'd risk their life for hers and she saw a grinning girl with rainbow hair.
"Your majesties you've found the Vampire who got away and Rainbow Dash let me dispose of this monster." The tourists and tour guide gathered around to watch. Luna was annoyed now and she let it show.
"Starswirl tell us, was the war against the Vampires warranted!"
"I was told that it was! Hell, your council gave the orders."
"Celestia....can we find a home for Jade and try to help her acclimate to the times? I want to help her be able to be in the sun without burning."
"You're right Twilight Sparkle, we owe a huge debt that can't be repaid...our sins have committed genocide we must pay the price and try to levitate the pain we caused." Jade stood up and help Rainbow Dash to her feet.
"Hey Sunset didn't your apartment neighbor just move?"
"She did and Wallflower wants a roommate....I can ask her and for now she could stay with me. Rarity can you help our new friend get some new clothes?"
"Of course darling, and lucky for us it's dusk now so....what is your name? We never got it."
"It's Jade ma'am"
"No need to call me ma'am! Rarity is just fine now let's get to my place and I think I know what would look exquisite on you! I just designed this new suit and I endowed with a magical property to help the wearer to be able to be in the sun all day long and the exposed skin would never burn! I tested it my self!" While the princesses and Starswirl talked the seven girls and Jade walked toward town.
