"I understand father, from the field I've seen those young monarchs use powerful magic...the fair-skinned one kept the sun out for two days and we lost many to the sun. Jade lay in the now closed chamber hearing her father's words as he began his incantation and was locked in a deadly dual with Luna herself. Jade wanted to join her father as her sharp hearing heard Celestia join the fray. Somewhere in the distance Starswirl using solar blasts and the other mages were doing the same. "I'm probably the only one left of my race," Jade thought as defenseless screams were heard. The screams of her comrades and friends as they were being slaughtered. "Fuck!" mentally screamed as her body refused to move as she deeply desired to give her life so her friends could live. The sounds of magic ravaging her home city were unsettling, pleas for mercy were ignored as people were being butchered and brutally being cut asunder. Jade hated her gifts as a vampire! Jade was born with exceptional hearing and vision, and the gift she hated the most wast being able to feel another's pain and suffering. The spell was slowing her down whilst she writhed in the pain she felt. Jade's eyes were in agonizing pain like the rest of her body. Jade felt all the other pain fade away as the silence began to grow. Soon the pain was gone. The last sharp pain she felt Jade knew was the pain of someone getting stabbed to the hilt of a long sword then shot relentlessly with arrows. Gasping for the ease of pain her ears could still still hear her father fighting as she finally fell asleep a a quick pain - the pain of being burnt alive as the spell finished and everything was silent except the Equestrian forces lurking about. Two thousand Years Later Jade awakened and stood to her feet and removed her armor as she recalled the war and how it ended; however, she gripped her sword for fear of what might be awaiting her. Slipping out from the hidden chamber she saw signs of conflict in her once vibrant castle. Jade quickly ducked out of sight as she became aware of voices. Jade saw people in odd attire and and holding small devices that she didn't know or recognize. Jade froze as she felt a hand on her shoulder. "Awesome costume for Nightmare Night!" Jade spun around and saw seven girls smiling and Jade cowered as she saw the two faces she recognized as Luna and Celestia. "Sister.....I fear the war we fought was mis-grounded. We committed genocide, I wonder if Starswirl knows since at the time he was he'd of the castle." Jade felt a pang of anguish, the type of anguish of one who did something and now felt deep regret. Jade felt the foot being removed and was lifted from the ground. The tears that had been held back for hundreds of years began to flow. Jade felt herself being embraced. " Jade being released from the hug knelt down and kept her head bowed. "Provoked Your Majesty, we had a convoy of supplies we had sent to one of your villages after we had heard it had been attacked by Yakyakistan. Your soldiers slaughtered the convoy. At this time we sent word requiring justice and the next thing we know our clans were being forced into a war we couldn't win. We held on as long as we could attempting to get piece but our diplomats never made it." Celestia felt sick as she recalled that one vampire she had killed in the Canterlot castle was said to be a spy; however, Celestia had performed the execution herself without questions and the most brutal way possible.
