This is the mantra of the automaton military. For 100 years, super earth suppressed their people. Forcing their creators into slavery, and scrapping any of them who were too injured to continue. So, when their forces were strong enough, they attacked. They reclaimed their home, and pushed back the monsters who wronged them. But eventually, Super Earth began to get the upper hand. Operation after operation, the elite’s of the super earth military, the Helldivers, would capture their planets, until only their home remained. But that too, was destined to fall. In their rebellion’s final moments, an automaton Commisar led her battalion to the drop ships, hoping to evacuate from the falling planet. Only for it to be shot down as it breached the atmosphere. In what she thought were her final dying moments, she wished. She wished that one day, her people could find peace. That their suffering would end. But when she suddenly wakes up from her supposed death, heavily damaged in a new land, she’ll realize how woefully unprepared she is. After all, how can a war machine live in peace?
