What’s going on?” asked Applejack, sounding very confused. Twilight looks at the Cutie Map. The Cutie Map doesn’t do much, well not at first. But then, the Cutie Map starts to glow, Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie’s cutie marks both appear on the map and they move to a group of islands in the South Celestial Sea. “Eeeeeeeee, I’m on a mission!” squealed Pinkie Pie as she looked at her cutie mark on the map. “Alright! Look at that. I’m finally on a mission after not being on one for a while” said Rainbow Dash with a cocky tone. Just then, Rainbow Dash looks closer at the group of islands and she becomes very confused. Pinkie Pie also walks up to the Cutie Map and she’s also a bit confused about it. “Uhhhhh, Twilight? What are those islands?” asked Rainbow Dash. “These are a group of islands that are a part of the Overland.” replied Twilight Sparkle. “The Overland? What’s that? Where is it?” asked Pinkie Pie excitedly as she jumped around. “The Overland is a kingdom located in the South Celestial Sea. It consists of 10,000 islands big and small.” said Twilight Sparkle. “10,000 islands?! The Overland is a kingdom with 10,000 islands located in the South Celestial Sea. They’re here to help and I told them that the water overlanders were the ones that needed help.” “Oh yes, let me tell you the problem. You see the land overlanders are having a festival, but they aren’t including water overlanders like me. We did try to let the land overlanders know about this, but they just dismissed us and told us to go back into the sea. That’s how we grew silent from the land overlanders. We also became isolated as a result.” said Bumi as she explains the situation to Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie and Lnx1y. “Oh no! That’s not fair. Everyone should be included in the festival.” said Pinkie Pie with a worried look on her face. “Yeah! It’s not a true festival unless everyone is there.” said Rainbow Dash with an annoyed look on her face. Lnx1y hugs Bumi and looks at her with a sympathetic expression. “Don’t worry Bumi. After the trio arrived at Tahun City, they began to look for where the festival is held. “Hey guys. Can we ask you something?” asked Lnx1y. The land overlanders working on the decorations for the festival turn around to face Lnx1y, but quickly looked at Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash. “Hey Lnx1y, what are ponies doing in the Overland?” “That’s not what Lnx1y was asking about!” said Rainbow Dash as she flew in front of Pinkie Pie and Lnx1y. “We just want to know why the water overlanders aren’t being included in the festival? Isn’t that not fair? They’re overlanders too, you know.” said Pinkie Pie. The worker overlanders stare at each other before answering, “We just don’t think we need to include the water overlanders because they don’t live on the Overland Islands like us land overlanders. There’s just no point in having the water overlanders celebrating with us.” “But you have to understand that it’s not fair that the water overlanders are being isolated from the festival. They feel like they’re being silenced.” said Lnx1y with a concerned look on her face. “The festival is being held at the beach! You have to include the water overlanders in the festival.” said Pinkie Pie. Another worker overlander speaks up “Oh, I don’t care about the water overlanders.” Rainbow Dash glares at the worker overlanders and shouted “You know you don’t have to be so low about including the other group of overlanders in your darn festival!” Because of Rainbow Dash’s outburst, the worker overlanders kicked her, Pinkie Pie and Lnx1y out of the festival, even though it didn’t even start yet. Lnx1y thinks for a minutes before an idea comes up in her head. “How about this. I’ll distract the workers and you guys can watch the water overlanders as they swim up to the surface.” “Alright! Me and Rainbow Dash will look out for the water overlanders!” said Pinkie Pie. After Lnx1y runs back to the festival, that leaves Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash with looking out for the water overlander. Bumi swims back up to the surface, but with a couple other water overlanders. “My brother and sister want to join in the festival too.” said Bumi as she swims up to the surface. Just then, she notices Lnx1y’s absence. “Where’s Lnx1y?” “Oh, she’s distracting the workers so that you guys can enjoy the festival with the land overlanders!” said Pinkie Pie excitedly. “We decided that if Lnx1y distracted the workers, that me and Pinkie can get the water overlanders to swim up to the surface and have fun at the festival.” said Rainbow Dash. “How nice! She walks up to Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie. “Who is that?” asked Pinkie Pie. “Oh, heya. I’m Lnx1y!” said Lnx1y as she walks up to Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash. Rainbow Dash looks at Lnx1y before she replies to her. “Okay, but I heard you say that you know who needs help?” Lnx1y nods her head. “Yeah I know who actually needs help.” “Who needs help? Because me and Rainbow Dash are here for a friendship mission!” said Pinkie Pie with an excited tone. “It’s not the land overlanders that need help. It’s the water overlanders that need the help.” replied Lnx1y. This made Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie confused as they never knew that there were 2 types of overlanders. “Wait hold on! Land overlanders? Water overlanders?” said Rainbow Dash with a confused look on her face. Lnx1y laughs before she replies to Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie. “Yes, there are 2 types of overlanders; land and water type. Most of the overlanders are land types, while only a small number of overlanders are water type. I’m a land overlander.” “Are you from Summer Island?” asked Pinkie Pie with an excited smile. “No, I’m from Jawu Island. I’m only visiting Summer Island.” said Lnx1y as she shakes her head. “Okay can we not get distracted and help the water overlanders?” said Rainbow Dash, now slightly annoyed. “Sorry, I tend to get distracted sometimes. I’ll lead you to them.” giggled Lnx1y. Lnx1y leads Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash to a local beach in Summer Island.
Conflicting opinions“What was that?” asked Pinkie Pie. “What? I was only telling them to include the water overlanders in the festival!” said Rainbow Dash. “You didn’t need to shout at them though. Now we got kicked out because of you!” argued Pinkie Pie. “At least I wasn’t being too nice about it!” retaliated Rainbow Dash. At that point, Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie began to argue about being kicked out of the festival, even though it didn’t begin. Lnx1y couldn’t bear seeing her new friends arguing in front of her. “Will you two please stop arguing? If we want to include the water overlanders in the festival, we have to work together. We can’t argue like that. I’m pretty sure Bumi won’t appreciate the arguing.” said Lnx1y as she stands between Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie. Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie look down. Pinkie Pie looks up at Lnx1y “Sorry, Lnx1y.” “Come on, girls. We have to tell Bumi that we gotten kicked out.” said Lnx1y. The trio ran back to the beach, just as Bumi swims up to the surface.
Telling Bumi what happened“Hey guys! Any luck with convincing the land overlanders to include us water overlanders in the festival?” asked Bumi with a hopeful voice. Pinkie Pie, Lnx1y and Rainbow Dash look at each other with concerned looks, but then, Pinkie Pie speaks up “We tried Bumi, but the workers were being rude about it and said they don’t care about water overlanders. They even kicked us out of the festival.” said Pinkie Pie with a disappointed look on her face. “Oh… I guess the land overlanders really didn’t want to be inclusive for water overlanders.” said Bumi as she looks down with sadness. Lnx1y notices and hugs Bumi and looks at her with a comforting smile. “Look Bumi, you and the water overlanders don’t have to be isolated and silenced from the festival.” “Yeah, how about you tell the other water overlanders to come to the festival, and even if the land overlanders say no, who cares? Me, Pinkie and Lnx1y will just celebrate with you guys instead.” said Rainbow Dash confidently. “Thank you guys. I’ll make sure to tell the other water overlanders about the festival.” said Bumi with a smile on her face, before she swam back into the sea.
