His kids always wanted to go to Comic-Con in San Diego. So, LeBron thought it would be a great idea to spend some time with the fam while experiencing something new. He didn't realize he would need a costume and instead just went as himself. When they arrived, he let his kids run off and left his eldest in charge to explore the Con for himself. He walked around aimlessly and eventually found the shop; he also found a basketball. He took one look at his costume (his clothes) and took another at the ball. Seeing that his "costume" was incomplete, he bought the basketball; not paying attention to who sold it to him.

Now he's in the land of Equestria, in My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, at the very start of the show. And worst of all?

He doesn't even know the show.
