Raven just kept staring. Ivy looked back and forth between the human and the vampire. Scarlet stayed silent. Suddenly, Raven realized no one was talking. "So... You're a vampire."

"Yes, that's what I said," Scarlet replied plainly.

Ivy smiled. "Well, this is getting awkward. So, Raven wants to learn more about us. So far, I told her about ghosts. Now... let's teach her about vampires."

Scarlet's eyes scanned the human's body. "Her heartbeat's increased. Nervous? Or aroused?"

Scarlet backed up back through the doorway. "Cute," she said, before she closed the door and locked it.

Raven sighed and turned to head back to the stairs. "Fuck, that was bad."

"I thought it went well," Ivy said with a smile.

As they headed up the stairs, Raven crossed her arms. "So... I have something to ask you... and I don't want you to hate me."

Raven made her way over to the basement door and tried the knob. It was still unlocked. With a deep breath, she opened it and headed down into the catacombs beneath her mansion. She then headed over to Scarlet's door and raised her fist to knock.

"I'm not in there," Scarlet said from the right.

Raven turned to see her coming towards her from one of the off-shooting hallways. "Oh. Hello, again."

"Hello, Raven."

"So, I was wondering... if you'd like to go out with me."

Scarlet stepped up to her and smiled. "You're not my type," she said as she walked past her.

"Doesn't quite work like that," Scarlet said as she approached them.

"We shall."

Scarlet then looked at Ivy. "Is she coming?"

Raven and Ivy looked at each other before they looked at Scarlet again. "Do you not want her to?" Asked Raven.

Scarlet crossed her arms. "She can come. If she doesn't bother us."

"I will shut the fuck up," Ivy assured.

Raven drove towards town with Raven in the passenger seat and Ivy in the back seat. "So, Scarlet. What do you like to eat?"

Scarlet smiled. "What do you think?"

"There you go."

"Then how have you kept fed in the basement?"

Scarlet sighed in disgust. "Filthy rats."

"Now, you said that it doesn't work like that. What did you mean?"

Raven smiled. "Mmm."

The jogger resumed her jog before Raven exhaled sharply. "Damn, that was close."

Scarlet crossed her legs and arms as she leaned back. "So, you really like monsters, huh?"
