What Has Been Foretold...
It is a magnificent day. The birds are happily chirping in unified harmony, the suns are shining at just the right position in the sky, the wind is blowing at a perfect pace through the tall grass.
A young, marine-blue pegasus is peacefully trotting about on her weekly walk around Wilensia, a small part of Wereka covered by flat plains and small hills. "I just love days like this," she says to herself. "It's so peaceful. You'd almost believe there are no troubles in the world." She looks down and closes her eyes. "Almost."
She gets up, and continues walking. On her way home, her sister Diamond Aurora runs up to her and nudges her shoulder.
"Hey, Saph'!" She says cheerfully. "How goes it with ya'?"
"Oh, hi Diamond," replies Saphiyr. "I'm doing fine. How about you? Are things going well over at the library?"
"Yeah, it's going fine there. Nothing too exciting, as you'd guess."
"I see."
The two sisters continue walking along the dirt path through the tall grass, back to where the Auroras lived.
As they arrive, Diamond says her goodbyes and goes home for the night. Saphiyr walks into her home, lights up the lamp, makes a razorpetal leaf, sunskin and sintrelberry sandwich, lays down on her bed and starts eating. A couple minutes later, she brushes the crumbs off of her breast and waits for her mate, Rainbow Dash. he waits for two hours, and Rainbow seldom shows up.
"Where are you, Rainbow?" She asks herself. "You should have been here an hour and a half ago. What's going on?"
Saphiyr gets up and starts walking downstairs. As she reaches the final step, a bright cyan pegasus tackles and kisses her deeply. Minutes later, the kiss was released, and Saphiyr opened her eyes, seeing Rainbow Dash on top of her, smiling.

Saphiyr, startled and unsure what to do next, looks up at her mate.

"Okay," Rainbow says softly, getting Saphiyr to stand up. She holds herself close to Saphy, staring deeply into her eyes. "Let's go then."
Saphiyr blushes a bit. She follows Dashie up to their room, where she is pulled into bed with her mate. Dash pulls the covers over them, and kisses Saphy romantically.
Saphiyr lets out a soft moan as they release. Rainbow then starts lowering herself deeper under the covers, until she is at eye level with Saphiyr's sex.
"Dashie?" Saphiyr asks, concerned. "Are you sure about this? We haven't done this before."

"Get Rainbow Dash," replies the Phoenix. "This is important."
"Alright. It had better be."
Saphiyr walks over to her bed, shakes Dashie a bit, waking her up, and tells her to get up quick.
"Mofitra says she has something important to show us."
"Did you tell her it's only 10:65?"
"Yes."
"Alright," Rainbow sighs.
She gets up, and the two take their morning shower. At around 10:78 (Eastern Wilensian Time), they walk out the front door of their house.
"It's about time," Says Mofitra, the phoenix.
"Sorry, the shower took a bit more time than usual," responds Rainbow.
Saph blushes slightly, but it isn't visible thanks to her marine-blue fur.
"Alright. Follow me, you two."
The three take off, flying across Wilensia.
"Where are you taking us?" Asks Saphiyr, struggling to keep up with Rainbow and Mofitra.
"I can't tell you yet. It's too hard to explain," responds the phoenix. "But you'll know when we're there."
"Alright," Saphiyr says.
An hour or so later, they arrive at their destination, And they stopped to wait for Saphiyr. The area was a very grassy flatland with very few hills and a couple of plateaus. It's very peaceful, and in front of The phoenix and the pegasus is a small, slowly-inclining hill with a small hole at the top, just large enough for a regularly-sized mare to fit through.
"Sorry I can't keep up," she says as she arrives.
"It's okay," replies Mofitra. "Now, both of you, take a look down that hole."
The phoenix motions her right wing towards the opening in the hill.
"Go on. It's not dangerous."
Saphiyr proceeds down the hole, shortly followed by Rainbow Dash.
"Woah. Wait, I've read about this place," Saphiyr states shortly after entering. "The Herlack. Where, in old Werekian Mythology, The Divine Being, known as Dyamuund, had used her power to create that stone in which she imprisoned the gods, saving Wereka from apocolyptic chaos. They say that in 10,000 years, that stone will no longer be able to contain the 18 Gods of our planet, and release them. Of course, no one knows when the gods were encased, and no one knows what happened to Dyamuund. She just... Disappeared."
"Wow, Saphy, I'm impressed!" Dashie says, kissing Saphiyr briefly. "I didn't know you knew so much."
"Heh, thanks."
"Yes. Well, I've done research, and as it turns out according to myths, The gods were imprisoned in 6349, Around 400,000 years ago," Mofitra explains. "And, I've noticed the altar stone emitting strange waves."
"Wait, are you saying that..." Rainbow starts.
"... The gods are going to be released any second?" Finishes Saphiyr.
"I'm afraid so, my dear companions."
The two pegasi stare at each other in disbelief.
"That's... Not possible," Rainbow Dash says, worried. "You mean that the gods, that are held within that stone somehow-"
"Fourth dimension," Saphiyr interrupts.
"Okay. The gods, held within that stone, are soon going to burst out and wreak chaos across Wereka?"
"I'm afraid so. All we can do is prepare for the worst," Mofitra replies.
"W-What's the worst?" Rainbow asks, increasingly scared.
"Well, I'm not too sure, but the gods being released could possibly lead to... The destruction of Wereka," Saphiyr says, reluctantly."
"WHAT?" Rainbow screams. "THE WORLD COULD END?"
"Yes. I know it's frightening, but you have to expect these things. It happens at some point, and it is doubtful that Wereka is destroyed," Saphiyr says. "It's highly unlikely. But the release of the gods will take its toll."
Rainbow Dash starts crying. She leans over on Saphiyr's shoulder, who quickly hugs her pained mate and attempts to comfort her.
"I just can't believe... *sniff* That the world could be coming to an end..." Dashie sobs quietly.
"It won't trust me," Saphy replies. "We'll live through it. And no matter what, I'll make sure you get out alive, even if I die."
Dashie starts crying more loudly. "I just can't imagine... What life would be like after... The gods are released... And I just can't take my mind off of thoughts... Where you get severely hurt... I couldn't live life without you..."
"I feel the same way about you, Dashie..." Saphiyr whispers into her mate's ear, starting to cry herself. "I'll make sure we're out of this alive. Both of us. We will live on, I promise. And if either of us doesn't, I will not be able to live with myself. I will dedicate my entire time during the chaos to keep you alive primarily, myself secondarily. I will do everything in my power to make sure we live... Because I just hate not being with you or knowing you'll be hurt in any way."
"Thanks, Saph... You always know what to say..." Dashie say, kissing Saph. "I'll try my best to help you in anything you do."
"No... Thank you... Thank you, Rainbow, for bumping into me that one day in flight school, twisting my ankle. If you hadn't have done that, we wouldn't be here together. We would barely know each other. Thank you, for being you."
