Hearth's Warming Friends

After the Young Six and Lnx1y finished their dinner, Rainbow Dash takes them outside to do their colourful powder art. At this point it's now night, but there's a large white banner on the grass.

"I've got the colourful powder in my bucket, so we can do our drawing." said Lnx1y.

"Remember what Twilight said, don't throw it." said Sandbar.

"Yeah, but I'll forgive you if it's accidental. After all, it does look tempting to throw the coloured powder." said Rainbow Dash with a smirk.

"Let's start our powder art!" said Silverstream excitedly.

And so, the Young Six and Lnx1y start their powder art on the banner. Silverstream and Yona are excited, while Smolder and Gallus seemed a bit apphensive since they don't want to get the powder on themselves. As for Sandbar and Ocellus, they're just content. Lnx1y is going crazy with the coloured powder as she's from the Overland and has been celebrating Hari Libur for years.

"Yona like coloured powder. Yona wish yaks use colour powder in Yakyakistan!" said Yona.

"Yeah! We use powder for art only where I'm from." said Silverstream.

Just then, Spike arrived.

"Oh I see you're doing powder art." said Spike.

"Yeah, it's good fun actually." replied Sandbar.

Spike picks up some powder and starts drawing on the banner.

"Oh! It is fun!" said Spike.

Spike, Lnx1y and the Young Six continue to do powder art on the banner. They are having fun, talking and laughing as they use the colourd powder to draw on the banner. After about 20 minutes, everyone finished the powder art.

"Ah! It looks super colourful!" exclaimed Silverstream.

"Yona love it." said Yona.

"It was actually fun after all." said Gallus.

"This is one reason why I love Hari Libur, because it's the only time of year where I can use colourful powder." said Lnx1y.

Just then, Smolder accidently dropped some orange powder on the yellow powdered sun.

"Oh fuck! Sorry Lnx1y." said Smolder.

"Don't be sorry. It actually makes the yellow sun more vibrant!" replied Lnx1y as she adjusted the orange powder on the yellow powdered sun.

"You're right, it does make it more vibrant." said Smolder.

"No wonder some creatures call the Overland, the islands of colour." said Sandbar.

"They really love colour!" replied Ocellus.

"Most overlanders, including me love colour, which is why most overlander art is vibrant and colourful." said Lnx1y.

"I'm glad we stayed after, because we learned about each other's traditions while cleaning up the mess back in the lounge and even though it took a long time to clean up the mess, it was worth it, because we were invited to headmare Twilight's holiday dinner table." said Sandbar.

"And you helped me decorate the dormitory when no one else would." said Lnx1y.

"Today was a good day, especially since Hearth's Warming is coming up!" said Silverstream.

Just then, Yona threw green powder at Sandbar.

"I thought headmare Twilight said not to throw powder.

"Yona couldn't help it. Yona wanted to see what throwing colour powder looked like." replied Yona.

"Let me try! Let me try!" exclaimed Silverstream as she picked up some purple powder and threw it at Smolder.

"Oh you're on!" said Smolder as she picked up some orange powder.

The Young Six along with Lnx1y and Spike started to throw coloured powder at each other. Even though they weren't supposed to, they didn't care. They were just having fun. Around 5 minutes into the powder fight match, Rainbow Dash and Twilight arrived into the vibrant and colourful scene.

"I thought I said to only use the powder for art?" said Twilight with a confused tone.

"Oh? Uh.... I guess we gotten a little carried away, but we were only having fun." replied Lnx1y.

"Come on Twilight, look at the banner they made. I even helped them." said Spike.

Twilight looked at the banner that the Young Six, Lnx1y and Spike. The powder art looked very vibrant and colourful.

"Wow, that looks very vibrant. You guys did a great job." said Twilight Sparkle.

"Thank you!" replied the Young Six.

"We need to preserve this banner. It's too good not to keep." suggested Rainbow Dash.

"That's right, let me do that." said Twilight as she put a preserving magic on the banner.

"Rainbow Dash, Spike and I will put this banner on the main hall." said Twilight as she Rainbow Dash and Spike walked away.

After the trio left Yona smiled and opened her arms up.

"Group hug!" said Yona with a big smile.

The rest of the Young Six and Lnx1y joined in the group hug. All 7 students are covered in colourful powder, but they were happy and laughing regardless since they had a fun evening.
