Chapter 1: Unwanted Guest

Raze stands there. He gave a penetrating gaze through Twilight and her friends that stand there like they’re frozen. He looked as Twilight that gasping for air. He stands there on the throne, looking around and sees the body of Sunset Shimmer, motionless, beaten by him. On the other side was Starlight Glimmer who is leaning back against one of the pillar not too far from Twilight. Next to her was Fluttershy trying to help Starlight from bleeding on her barrel. On both of Raze side, there was two alicorn, lying motionless. Both of them were the Queen of Sun and the Queen of Moon.

From Twilight point of view, she was staring in disbelief; she didn’t believe Raze was a unique pony. She also didn’t believe that Raze was able to beat the hell out four of the strongest unicorn that she ever met. It just as quick as wind, it was the fastest twist she ever seen. Everything that was happy at first immediately turns into a living nightmare. As she was gasping for air, she tries to recall how this crazy situation was occurred.

‘An hour of flashback’

It was one of the greatest moments in Equestria. Everycreature happen to be appearing there. Including the one they already met. But all of this moment was planned by a pony with a pony with a lavender fur and her friends. It’s no other than Twilight herself carefully planning this event. She was carefully inspecting around her friends job and the other ponies job. Spike, besides her, is holding a checklist scroll that could be the longest scroll ever recorded. When Twilight was patrolling around the garden castle, there was a pony with lilac fur, reprimanding Twilight.

“Hi, Twilight! You seem very excited with this year of Summer Sun Celebration, huh?” said Starlight. Twilight smiled and nodded quickly.

“Of course! Can’t you imagine how much creature will witness Celestia raising the sun?! This will be the first ever, ever, ever, event of history as the first event that features all the creatures around Equestria!” said Twilight in a fast pace, nearly beating the famous rapper in Equestria, Emenem.

Starlight just chuckled but stopped when Trixie called her from behind, “Starlight, come on! Help me with these massive fireworks! Pinkie says that she will need this right now!”

Trixie was struggling to pull a wagon full of rockets and fireworks with her magic. Starlight chuckled and gave Twilight a wave before departing to help Trixie with the wagon, “See you later, Twilight! Trixie won’t be able to handle those fireworks by herself.” Twilight just giggled and continued her patrol around the Canterlot castle.

Outside the castle, a hooded figure is flying and observing the movement of the Princess of Friendship before landing in front of the castle gates. He also observes the other powerful ponies that having conversation and helping with the event such as Starlight and Sunset.

“Is that the powerful ponies they talk about? They don’t seem powerful enough. Especially, when everyone is talk about Sunset and Starlight. Heh, no worries, I will see later how powerful this ponies can be,” said the figure. He tried to cross the gates but two guards immediately blocked the way to enter the Canterlot.

Guards with brown fur stared at him in suspicion, “What is your purpose?” It smirked and replied, “My purpose?” It lifted the two unicorns, making both of them dropping their spears. Both of them trying to use their magic but something seem prevented them from using the magic. The figure chuckled mocking them, “I used two magic at once preventing you from casting magic, losers. Now,” the figure eyes glow yellowish, “Begone.”

It throws both of the unicorns aside and casted a sleep spell making both of them falls asleep. He walked inside while whispering, “they don’t know what hit’ em,” he smirked as his plan is about to goes on.

Somewhere in the castle, Celestia and Luna were having a conversation when Cadance interrupted them, “Hi, Luna! Hi, Celestia! Do both of you ready for the first ever Summer Sun Celebration featuring multiple creatures?”

Celestia chuckled, “Of course, were both excited for this upcoming event! But Luna on the otherside…” Celestia looked towards Luna who seems nervous about the event.

“I’m not nervous! This event is not making me nervous! There’s no way I do, sister!” said Luna. Celestia and Cadance just smirked; Luna’s face obviously shows that she is nervous.

“I was glad that Twilight is the one who is handling this event,” said Cadance. Celestia nodded in agreement and replied, “We sure can trust Twilight in any event. She sure is a pretty good manager when it comes to any events.”

Luna calmed down and added more, “When you talk about Twilight, I think you’re right. She is a pretty good manager.”

“Yeah, but we can’t forget about her friends right?” Celestia reminded.

“Yeah, especially when we’re talking about a pink pony that obsessed about a fun party,” said Cadance.

That statement caused three of them to laugh. During that time, Twilight happen to enter the room, looking at them with confusion.

“Hey, guys, what’s so funny?” said Twilight.

Cadance turned around and replied, “Oh, nothing. Anyway, how’s the patrol? Where’s Spike? Shouldn’t he be with you?”

“I’ve done patrolling around. It’s seems that they can handle themselves. About Spike, he is spending his free time with helping Rarity!” said Twilight followed by a little giggle by her and the other princesses.

“So, what’s your thought about this event, Celestia?”

The question by Twilight just started a long conversation between her and other princesses.

The figure walks around like he just not knocked out two guards earlier. He remain a calm and keep walking while observing all the ponies that was acting fast as it was a pretty busy day. Even though some of the ponies were chatting, enjoying the time while doing their work, they didn’t give the figure any attention. The figure kept walking until a blue furred Pegasus accidentally crashed into them, causing both of them to fling and rolled.

“Ouch, sorry, I’m in the middle of emergency! Do you see anypony with Wonderbolts suit? Her mane were yellow and orange, I need to meet her right now!” said the blue furred Pegasus with a rainbow mane, which known as Rainbow Dash.

The figure stand up, unaware of revealing his face, “Urgh, come on, watch where you going idiot and no I haven’t saw anyone like that.”

Rainbow Dash just stood there, in silence. She was shocked by the appearance of the figure.

He just touched his cheek while staring at Rainbow Dash, “Hello?! Am I talking to a tree?!”

Rainbow Dash ignored his question and simply replied in excitement, “Wow that was… THE MOST AWESOME EYEBALLS I’VE EVER SEEN!”

He was froze and speechless, he realize that his hood weren’t on and immediately put on his hood. But it was too late, everyone that was close immediately tried to get a closer look on him. Everyone was amazed by his unique eyes. Rainbow Dash immediately takes a closer look and asked as she holds his hood, “What’s your name?” She read something that written on the hood, “Raze?”

Raze, who is appear to be a white furred colt unicorn with a black eyeball and a white retinas. He immediately backed off and shouted, “Stay away.”

Rainbow Dash was irritated by his rude attitude and replied, “What’s wrong with you, dude?! We’re just being friendly!”

Raze coldly replied, “Being friendly is not what my term is.”

Rainbow Dash get more irritated, “What you mean being friendly is not your term?! What is your problem, dude?!”

Raze smirked, “You know, before you start bothering people, how about you focus on what you’re doing right now? I think I saw there’s a mare with a blue suit passing by on the skies.”

Rainbow Dash eyes widened, “Really?! Hold on, I’ll be right back!”

In just a second, Rainbow Dash already gone, leaving a rainbow trails behind. Raze smiled and turned into every single ponies face near him. Raze added more, “Hey, if I being you guys, I would continue my job because I don’t want to see the princesses frown you know?”

Everyone immediately snapped back to reality and immediately work on their business. Raze smirked and leaving the place immediately and heading towards the castle. On his way, he listened to a bird tune. Raze was impressed and decided to find the source of the music. He keep following the tune until he reached a point where he facing a bush near the castle garden.

‘The beautiful song must come from here. I wonder who had the ability to control animals.’ Raze thought. He peeked through the bush, a yellow mare with a three butterfly cutie mark and a pink mane is conducting a song for the birds. He was amazed by the mare ability to conduct the animals to singing in harmony.

The mare was known as Fluttershy, she is in charge of the ceremony music. When she was conducting, the birds saw Raze was peeking Fluttershy and immediately fly towards the bush and start pecking Raze. Fluttershy who was witnessing the incident, immediately shocked when someone is spying on her. She came closer to the bush to calm down the birds. Raze, realizing it immediately took off with his wing. Fluttershy didn’t able to see the face of the spy but giving herself a little thought, ‘That guy is totally a pervert.” Fluttershy face immediately turned red after that incident and covered up her face with her mane.

She thinking out loud, “Why that guy is spying on me? What is his problem?!” Her face getting redder everytime she thinks about it.

After that incident, Raze blushed when he is going back on his plan and giving a thought, ‘Shouldn’t someone without their consent. I should put that in my note.’ He landed behind the backstage and let out a big sigh. He looked around and peeked through the stage when he saw a pony with a pearl fur with a purple mane or known as Rarity with a purple dragon (Spike) besides her is working on a ribbon.

“Spike, can you pass me another ribbon?” said Rarity to her little dragon.

“Anything for you Rarity,” said Spike while observing the face of the mare.

Raze watch that and simply said, “Blergh, that dragon is surely obsessed with that mare. I gotta get out of here and goes back on my track.”

Raze just simply teleport but the place he landed on is in the royal kitchen. He was froze a minute until an orange mare crashed on him. The mare stood up and simply said, “What in the hay is wrong with you?! Now look at all the mess that you’ve gotten me into!” said the mare.

Raze simply stand up and cleaned up the mess he made and replied, “Sorry, I teleported at the wrong place. See you later.”

Poof!

And just like that Raze teleported himself to another place. The orange mare wants to shout but she was interrupted by another chef, “Applejack, can you help me for a moment?”

Applejack simply turned around and let out a big sigh and replied, “Sure.”

This time, Raze teleported to a somewhat dance floor, outside the castle?!

“What the hay?” said the colt in confusion. When he was looking around, he look to the front when a pink mare is just in front of him making him startled.

“WHAT THE HECK?!” said Raze in shocked.

“Heya, there! Name’s Pinkie Pie! I’ve never seen a zebra with a horn before!” said Pinkie excitedly.

As soon as he heard the word Zebras, he replied, “I’m not a zebra!” said Raze in anger.

“Oh, so you’re a changeling?” Pinkie asked another absurd question.

But this time, Raze replied calmly, “Uh, no? But I can transform myself into one.”

“OOOHHHHHH! Can you do that? Please? Pretty please?????????” Pinkie make a puppy face trying to convince that colt any way possible.

Raze just stared Pinkie nervously but let a big sigh when Starlight interrupted, “Hey Pinkie! *pants* where, *pants* do you *pants* want us to put this rockets?!” said Starlight whilst struggling against the heaviness of the rockets.

As soon as Pinkie turned around to see Starlight, Raze immediately teleported himself somewhere else.
“Oh just leave it there!” When Pinkie turned back she was shocked, “Wait where did he go?!”

Starlight came around, “Who is he?”

“Oh, there this suspiciously looking hooded colt standing right here and now poof! He is gone!”

Starlight put her hooves on her mouth trying to consume the information in her brain about the colt that Pinkie just explained.

This time Raze teleported, he was in the castle in the throne room, but he was in the midair, causing him to fall on someone.

“Ouch!” said the female voice.

Raze startled and peeked down on the pony he landed on. It was a mare with red and yellow mane with a sun cutie mark that was the same color as her but both were the opposite of each other.

“Who the hay are you?!” said the mare.

Raze didn’t even able to reply as the mare immediately getting up and stared at him.

Raze stared back in anger and replied, “You first, young mare.”

She blowed raspberries and replied, “I’m Sunset Shimmer. I’m a one of the Elements of Harmony and you?! Who are you?!”

Raze simply smirk and replied, “The worst nightmare that Celestia ever seen.”

Sunset immediately charged up her horn and blasts it towards Raze but he easily blocked the magic. Sunset magic keep growing stronger and stronger but Raze didn’t seem to struggle to fight. Raze just keep blocking all the magic like it was nothing. He slowly gets closer towards Sunset, calmly blocking all the attack Sunset sent on him. When Sunset about to send another attack, she feels that her horn weren’t able to cast anymore magic. She looks on Raze and realized that Raze horn is casting a magic.

Raze smirked, “Quiet a skill you have. Nopony could last or cast a large amount of spells in a short time. But still, your magic is not a match.”

Raze lifted Sunset in the air with his magic and grabbed her by the throat, making her choking.

Raze, “As a strong pony as you are, you are just a flea for me.” She grinned evilly, watching Sunset struggling to breathe as her throat was hold tight in the air. Sunset start to burst a tear, in herself, she was hoping that someone could came in and save her. Fortunately, the princesses happen to enter the throne room. Four of them was happily chatting and immediately gasped as they saw Raze hanging up Sunset in the air.

Twilight, without wasting time, she blasted a magic towards Raze, but Raze just teleported to the left. Luckily, the shot distracted Raze, making Sunset to fell down. Sunset was very grateful whilst gasping for air, felt very thankful for escaping a death. Twilight immediately came to Sunset to check on her condition.

“Sunset, sweet Celestia, what had he done with you?!” Twilight was shocked by Sunset that shivering and trembling in fear.

“I…I…” She was unable to speak properly and suddenly burst out huge tears. She hugged Twilight in fear and tear. The amounts of trauma that Raze put on her really break her up. Twilight hugged Sunset with empathy and sadness. While Sunset was crying, Twilight stared at Raze who just staring them coldly, Twilight yelled in anger, “WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?! YOU NEARLY KILLED HER!”

Raze just stand there coldly, he change his eyes from Twilight to Celestia. Raze give a mocking smirk. That irritated the princesses that were watching. Celestia speak up calmly, “Why do you attacking innocent pony? Why did you do that?”

Raze stopped his smirk. Silence filled the atmosphere of the room. The princesses suddenly felt a fear attacking them. Raze smiled and he slowly laughing. That makes the princesses to felt irritated. Suddenly, Raze laugh getting more and more hysterical. The laugh makes the princesses annoyed.

Twilight shouted in anger, “WHAT’S SO FUNNY?!”

Then Raze slowly stop laughing and revealed his true face before leave out a threatening smirk. He replied, “Finally,” he stared them with full hatred, “a worthy opponents, I have been looking forward to this day, Princess,” He face give a threatening look, it’s even threatening when he stared Celestia. He continued, “Celestia.”

He charged up his magic and blasted it towards Celestia. Celestia blocked the magic and talked, “Sir, whoever you are, why are you attacking me?!”

Raze smirked and replied, “Because I’m tired of every of you. Now, it’s time for me to give an end to this.”

Celestia were standing with Cadance and Luna by her side. Celestia reply, “I don’t know why you’re tired of us, but I’m pretty sure that you’re surrounded. Whatever you’re up to, you’re messing with the wrong princess.”

Cadance added, “You’re also outnumbered. What your’e going to do now?”

Raze chuckled with a reply, “A bunch of starter ain’t scaring me. I’ll show you why I’m better.” Raze charged up his magic.

Celestia charged up her magic and looked towards Twilight and Sunset, “Twilight, Sunset, fin the other Elements. We will hold him back as long as we can.”

Sunset who just stopped crying, nodded in unison with Twilight. Both of them immediately head outside the castle leaving Raze fighting against three alicorn princesses.

Luna stared Raze with determination, “Now with three alicorn against you, what you’re going to do, unicorn?”

Raze smirked and replied, “Oh, sorry, the thing that I just did to Sunset is just a warm up,” he smiled mockingly, “Now,” he took off his cloak, revealing a shocking truth that make the three princesses eyes widened in unison.

Raze added more, “We shall begin the game…shall we?”

The word hung in the air for a second before a magic battle begin.

Outside the castle, Twilight and Sunset were running in hurry to see their other friends, while running Twilight shares her plans, “Sunset, you try to see Applejack, Rarity and Fluttershy. I’ll go after Pinkie and Rainbow Dash.”

Sunset just nodded and run towards the castle garden to see for Fluttershy. Twilight stopped running and immediately teleported herself directly at the castle dance floor. She look around while shouting, “Pinkie, where are you?! This is urgent!”

Poof! A party cannon pop off and Pinkie popped on. She smiled, “Hi Twilight! What thing that is so urgent? Lack of cakes? Lacks of decorations? Or……*gasp* LACK OF FUN?!”

Twilight try to stir Pinkie back to reality, “What? NO! This is important! The princesses are under attack!”

Pinkie gasped and shouted, “WHAT?!”

Starlight and Trixie, who were happening to hear Pinkie’s shouts, came around to see what the deal is.

“Hey, girls, why there’s shouting?” ask Starlight in concern.

Twilight explained everything that is happening in the castle, which the explanations leave the trio in shock.

“So you’re saying that there’s a hooded colt attacking Sunset, grabbed her by throat and nearly choke her to death?!” Trixie was still shock.

Twilight nodded, “Yes, apparently they’re buying us sometimes. Now we need to gather the others, so we can beat him with the Elements. Come on!”

They immediately followed Twilight from behind to see Rainbow Dash that happens to be training with the Wonderbolts.

On the other hand, Sunset was able to bring Applejack and Rarity with her. They’re in search for Fluttershy but it seems that Fluttershy didn’t hang around the castle garden. That really makes the trio left in confusion.

“That’s weird, Fluttershy usually hang around behind the bushes. Where does she go?” said Applejack whilst running besides Sunset.

“I don’t know, maybe the birds flew away so she had to chase them?” said Sunset, unsure with her speculation.

When they were running, they saw a yellow Pegasus sitting on a bench; they saw Fluttershy, with her face turning red. As soon as they arrived, they were confused with her red face.

“Uhh, Fluttershy, darling, why your face is so…red?” said Rarity towards Fluttershy that still sitting, staring into the inexistent void. She didn’t reply, which makes the trio to look onto each other. Sunset gets closer and touched Fluttershy shoulder, “Urm, Fluttershy? I don’t want to be rude, but are you okay? Are you having a fever?”

Fluttershy snapped out of her daydream and nervously replied, “Oh yeah, u-u-uh, I’m okay.”

Rarity walked, “Are you sure? Because I think your face is as red as tomato, darling.”

Fluttershy nervously replied, “Y-yeah.”

Applejack stared at her, “No, you’re lying.”

Sunset stared Applejack, “Applejack, why you said it like that?!”

“Urhm, I am the Elements of Honesty? It’s easy to tell if someone is lying.” Applejack being truly honest making both Rarity and Sunset annoyed.

Fluttershy sighed, “Alright, I-I lied.”

Three of them immediately widened their eyes and looked toward Fluttershy. Sunset responded, “What is wrong then?”

Fluttershy replied, “Someone spying on me while I was training the birds for the events.”

That brought even more surprise to the mares.

“Who is that creep?!” said Rarity in disgust.

“I-I don’t know. The colt wears a hood, so I can’t have a good look on him,” Said Fluttershy nervously.

Sunset and Applejack replied in unison, “He wears a hood?!”

“Wait so you know him?” Fluttershy replied in surprise.

“Yes, but we don’t have time to discuss about it. We got something to do. The princesses need us right now. I will explain everything, for now we gotta meet with Twilight immediately.” Sunset didn’t want to prolong the conversation.

Twilight and the others already are waiting outside the throne room when Sunset and the others arrived.

“Sunset, thank Celestia you’re arrived in time!” Twilight was relieved when she saw Sunset came around with the others.

“Why Starlight and Trixie was here?” Sunset was confused as she saw Starlight and Trixie were coming along.

“We told them to evacuate the others, but after we left them, a few minutes later, they came by. It seems that they’re pretty insisted to help us. They said Spike can handle the rest of evacuation.” Twilight explained to her.

“O-Okay, the more the help we got, the easier we figh-”

BOOM!

Before Sunset could finish her words, the door to the throne room were destroyed by a strong magic force causing a few dust to occur.

“*Cough* *cough* what was that?!” said Twilight in surprise. As the dust goes off, they saw a pink alicorn, lying on top of the broken door.

“CADANCE!!!!!” the mares said in unison. The others run towards Cadance in worries. Sunset and Starlight who were angered immediately run inside the throne room to face Raze. Twilight immediately come to heal Cadance with her magic.

“For the sake of Celestia, this is worse than I thought!” Twilight was shocked. After a few moments, Cadance finally gaining her consciousness and cough a little blood. She weren’t able to stand up due to the pain that were caused on her.

“Twilight…you must be careful… he is not *cough* an ordinary unicorn.” Cadance can’t talk properly due to the damage was done by Raze.

“Cadance, stop talking, you’re badly injured and I need to heal you.” Twilight is focusing on healing magic, giving a worried look on Cadance.
“Stop wasting your magic on me! I’m okay! *cough* use your magic and the elements to fight against *cough* him!” Cadance try to convince Twilight that she’s not hurt.

“No, you’re my sister-in-law and it’s my job to protect you.” Twilight still insisted to heal Cadance. Cadance immediately put her hoof on Twilight shoulder making Twilight to look onto her eyes.

“I can recover by myself. Saving the others is more *cough* important right now.” Cadance stared her seriously. Twilight trying to talk back but Trixie interrupted, “Twilight, go ahead. I will be here by the princess side. You focus on beating the colt.”

Twilight smiled in relief, “Thanks, Trixie. I think I should stop doubting about you.”

Trixie smiled, “Oh, Twilight, you don’t have to be such a-”

The conversation suddenly interrupted when they heard a few magic blasts and explosion coming from the throne room. Twilight and Trixie look onto each other in surprise.

“Girls, quick, Princess Luna and Princess Celestia need our help!”

The Main 6 immediately rushed through the throne room. As soon as they entered the throne room, a chill just run down their spine. They want to move, but someone in the distance making them to be filled with chills. In front of them, Raze was standing on the throne, filled with hatred and anger. He stared them with hate. Everyone in the room was shocked. Silence filled the room. While everyone was distracted, Fluttershy was looking around and gasped as soon she saw Starlight leaning back on one of the column was wounded on her barrel.

“Oh no, Starlight, Are you alright?!” said Fluttershy getting close to Starlight that covered with bruises and a single wound.

“Argh, don’t worry. It’s just a minor wound. I… *grunt* I’m okay.” Starlight denied that she is badly hurt.

“Where is Sunset?” Fluttershy ask in worries.

Starlight pointed to another column across the throne room. Right there, Sunset was lying unconscious with a few paper cut and bruises. Something that make it more shocking, Sunset’s back have a large bruise that can be seen from far away. Above Sunset was a huge crack on a column. Back to the throne, Raze was staring them coldly without even care what happened to both of the unicorn that he just beaten up. Twilight’s nerve is getting higher when next to Raze sides, Luna and Celestia was lying unconscious with a few bruises on them.

Twilight ask him with furious, “What have you done to the princesses?”

Raze smile underestimating the Princess of Friendship and coldly replied, “This is what happen if my opponent is too confident. How about I show you with my magic instead?”

Raze create a magic where he show them what was happening in the throne room before the Elements arrival.

In the throne room, the three alicorn stood in shock and amazement. They didn’t believe what they just saw. A male alicorn was standing on the throne, staring on them with hate and pride. Raze doesn’t want to waste any time, he charge up a magic at the rate that not even an alicorn can do it. He blasted a magic towards Celestia at the speed of wave making them unable to react. As soon it hits the ground, an explosion occurs, making the princesses to fling. Luna managed to fly midair and Cadance manage to land properly. Unfortunately, Celestia weren’t able to react and smashed the wall of the castle.

“SISTER!!!!!!” Luna shouted to the top of her lungs. She stared Raze in anger and fly towards Raze in a fast speed, Raze teleported somewhere else making Luna crashed onto her throne. Cadance pointed her horn towards Raze and fired several magic on him. Raze realizing that he was attacked, he keep teleporting - dodging all the attacks that Cadance released.

“Stop teleporting you coward!” Cadance shout in anger. Suddenly Raze appear in front of her, pointing his horn towards her and replied,

“Fine, I’ll play close instead.”

Cadance closed her eyes, waiting for her turn to be blasted. After a few seconds, nothing happened. Raze who were pointing the magic also confused. Both of them looked towards Celestia, with some paper cut on her body and face, flying whilst casting a spell.

“Now you won’t able to cast any magic besides us.” Celestia smirked, thinking that they’ll win the fight. Cadance, who saw that opportunity, immediately blasted a magic towards Raze, sending him to crash towards the castle column. Raze stood up, trembling in pain. Besides the pain he felt, he laugh hysterically (and coughing some blood), ignoring the pain he felt. Luna, who just stands up after the crash with her own throne, stared Raze with confusion. Celestia and Cadance also confused by Raze attitude.

“What is so funny?!” Cadance ask in irritation.

“*Slowly ending his laughing* Oh, uh…nothing. *a slight chuckles*” said Raze, making it sound like he was mocking the ability of the princesses.

“WHAT THOU IS LAUGHING ABOUT?!” ask Luna using her Canterlot voice, in absolute anger.

“* a little giggles* Nothing, it’s just…*coughing a little blood* how funny you think that magic can stop me,” said Raze, still chuckling followed by a bit blood cough. He stopped laughing and smiled, not a friendly smile, he gave an enjoying smile.

“Let’s see how you three could last whilst fighting me while I using my empty hooves.”

He gave them an evil grin, standing on two of his forelegs; he pulls out a battle stance of a kung Fu. Both three of them stared Raze with irritation and confusion - weren’t able to understand what that alicorn is doing.

“I’m ready.” a simple reply by Raze with a grin and threatening face towards the princesses. His eyes start to glow a white aura making him look even more threatening. The princesses immediately casted a magic from their direction at the same time, hoping that attack might hit the evil alicorn. The clash between magic caused an explosion to occur that flash the princesses. As the flash gone, the place where Raze stand left a dark spot with a smoke flying off it.

“D-did we win?” Luna stared on the dark spot, hoping that the alicorn were banished.

Suddenly, Raze appear out of the thin air, making a sideways roundhouse kick next to Luna like he was teleporting and responded, “Yes,” the kick landed on Luna’s back, causing her to lie down, receiving a crazy amount of pain whilst cracking the floor. That attack caused Luna to faint just right on the spot. The attack leaves the Queen of Sun and The Princess of Love shocked. He continued, "In losing competition."

“Luna!” the Queen shout in anger then stared Raze with full rage, “YOU!!!!!!!”

Before Celestia could react, Raze smirked and once again disappeared into thin air - making him look like he was teleporting. Celestia looked around, looking for any possibilities for Raze to appear. As soon as Celestia turn aside, Raze appeared next to her, doing a bicycle kick and said, “Good night, Sunny.”

The kick landed on Celestia’s right side, it was too strong that the kick sent her towards the throne at the supersonic speed. The kick caused Celestia to faint and making floor to crack too. Raze moved again and landed in front both of the fainted princesses.

“Just as I thought, they’re weaklin-”

“I’M GONNA KILL YOU!”

Raze turned around, Princess Cadance is flying towards Raze at a high speed with her horn charged. Raze simply smile and charged up his horn. Cadance angry face suddenly changed into a scared face. She was so angry that she forgot that Celestia fainted; meaning that Raze’s magic is no longer blocked. Raze immediately pointed his horn towards the princess and simply said, “Good night, Cadenza.”

The magic blast sent her directly towards the throne room doors. The impact was strong enough to destroy it causing a particle of dust to fly off. He stand there smiled, “Mate in 3. It’s too easy.”

He looked towards Celestia motionless body, “I guess you can say it’s a good night.” He chuckled.

But the chuckle won’t last long; he sense a magic is flying towards him and tilted his head to the side. As he predicted, a cyan magic was flying pass him at a high speed. He muttered, “Sneak attack.”

He added more, “How pathetic.”

He turned around to see who is attacking him. He looked towards both of the unicorn who was standing with determination. He smirked and giving them a underestimating glances. There the two unicorn; Starlight Glimmer and Sunset Shimmer. Both of the unicorn standing there with a max level of anger and determination. Starlight - the lilac furred pony stared Raze with anger, “How dare you hurt the princesses!”

Raze chuckled and replied, “Said the mare who just steals somepony cutie marks in order to spread equality.”

The statement that Raze spit out triggering Starlight anger even more. Sunset gets beside Starlight and whispered, “Relax. He’s just trying to play with your mind. Calm down.”

“Calm down is the word that should not be said by the pony that steals the Princess of Friendship crown.” Raze add another statement. That word hurt Sunset even more and she just stared Raze with full hatred. Starlight couldn’t hold on any longer, she immediately run towards Raze. Raze blasted several magic, testing her agility. Starlight reacted by teleporting at a high rate of speed, making Raze to widen his eyes in amazement.

“Amazing.” said Raze, simply ignoring the mare is about to reach him at any moment. As soon as Starlight teleported in front of him, he simply tilted his head to the back, avoiding the attack that Starlight doing by swinging her horn to hurt him. He simply grabbed the mare by the throat and lifted him in the air. He did the same what he did to start light; letting her to choke to the death. Sunset, who can’t stand to watch her friend struggling to fight, immediately blasted a magic towards Raze. Raze saw a magic coming towards him and he simply countered the magic. He smirked, “Are you trying again, young mare?”

Raze pointed his horn towards Starlight’s barrel, he slowly cut across - trying leave a little wounds, causing Starlight to burst a tear and pain.

“STARLIGHT! ALRIGHT, THAT’S ENOUGH!”

Sunset immediately teleported besides Raze and bucked him towards the castle column. She grabbed Starlight by her magic and teleported to the nearest castle column. Right there, she slowly makes Starlight to lean back against the column.

“You sit here; don’t do anything that can cause the cut,”

ZAP! Raze appeared besides Sunset and grabbed her neck by his hooves while standing on his two forelegs. Starlight shouted, “SUNSET!”

“What’s wrong, little Sunny? Why you ran away? I haven’t done with you yet.” Raze simply give an evil smirk. He throw Sunset to the air at full force and then he followed by flying towards Sunset. Sunset try to cast a teleportation spells but Raze appeared once again out of thin air, he’s about kick Sunset on her barrel. He simply said, “Time to back off, idiot.”

The kick sent Sunset at a high speed and causing her to collide her back to the castle column. The impact was so strong that it causes Sunset to faint on the spot. She fell down from the column and landed across Starlight.

“Oh my god, Sunset…” she burst a little tear and stared Raze in anger. If she’s not wounded, she would get back up and teach that alicorn a thing or two.

Raze teleported back midair on the throne and gracefully landed. He finally catches a breath and let out a huge exhalation. He finally stands there, coldly. Finally, The Princess of Friendship and her friends arrived.

Twilight dropped a tears watching her mentor friends and family getting beaten up and tortured such a way. She changed her sad expression and stared Raze with anger and determination. The others felt it too. Twilight stared Raze coldly, “How dare you heart my mentor and family.”

Twilight gave Raze a penetrating gaze, “How come you’re so evil? You’re an alicorn. You’re a prince. How could you do such thing to your subject? How could you do that to my friends?”

Raze suddenly froze as soon as he heard the words ‘friends’. His cold face suddenly changed and stared them in anger, “Because I hate to see you happy! Because I don’t want people like you to deserve happiness!”

He took a deep breath and shouted a voice stronger than the Canterlot voice causing it to echo around Canterlot,

“BECAUSE I HATE HAVING FRIENDS!”

The shout silenced the whole room. He continued,

“FRIENDSHIP IS LIKE POISON TO ME! FRIENDSHIP IS USELESS! FRIENDSHIP WAS NEVER MEANT TO EXIST! IN THIS WORLD,”

He lowered his voice,

“Friendship is a betrayal.”

Silence once again filled the room. He continued, “Don’t’ you see the word END in friENDship Princess? Or are you just as naïve as your friends? Friendship is just a betrayal of your enemy.” The cold statement brings a total silence in the room.

Twilight than replied, “You’re wrong. Look at me and my friends. We have been through a lot together! We laugh together; we cry together, we also embrace the time together! That is what the real meaning of friendship! There’s never a betrayal in friendship!”

Raze clenched his teeth and repied, “If your friendship is so strong then… PROVE IT TO ME!”

Raze charge up a powerful magic and blasted it towards Twilight. Twilight blocked the magic but Raze magic was too strong that her shield starts to cracks.

“I can’t…hold on anymore! Get out of here while you can!” she trying her best to prevent the magic from breaking the shield but the magic Raze use still overpowered Twilight.

From Twilight behind, Applejack touched her crest, “Don’t worry, Twilight. Together, were stronger.”

“I’m with you too. I will always be with you,” said Rainbow Dash supporting her.

“There’s no way I’ll let you handle this all by yourself, darling.” Rarity joined.

“No matter what happen, Twilight, we always on your side,” said Fluttershy supporting her friends.

“Yeah, the more, the merrier, right girls?!” said Pinkie with determination.

“YEAH!” they shouted in unison.

Suddenly, each of them started to glow. After Pinkie speech, one more hooves laid down on Twilight’s back. Twilight stared to her side; Sunset Shimmer, who just gain consciousness was supporting her even though she’s in pain and said, “No matter what happen, we always there. Even though you have a bad past, we will always be by your side.”

The last speech caused 7 of them to levitate. The magic that Raze unleash was defeated by a shockwave that caused by the group of friends.

“Impossible,” said Raze while watching in disbelief.

Suddenly, a strong powerful magic starts to generate. Raze try to escape but he felt like his hooves were stuck like a glue to the ground. No matter how hard he tried, he seems unable to move. When he looked down, his hooves were trapped by an arcane magic. He simply looked towards the beams that launched upon him. As the rainbow beams hitted Raze, he felt he’s turning into stone. He started to felt fear, “You don’t understand.”

“Yes, and you’re about to be sealed away, it’s time for your chaos to end, RAZE.”

Raze turned on his angry face, he start to burst a tear and shouted so loud, so strong that it was stronger than the last shout,

YOU WON’T UNDERSTAND!!!!!!!!”

Suddenly, a sparks of magic came from Raze’s horn, the Main 7 watch in shock. The sparks getting stronger and stronger until a strong flash filled the entire throne room, blinding everyone that sees it.

It was somewhere in the Equestria, it was located in the forest. In there, there was seven ponies lying on the grass. The first one to wake up is Twilight. She rubbed her right eyes and looked around in confusion. She shake the mare next to her; Applejack.

“Applejack, wake up.”

Slowly, the orange mare wake up, rubbing both of her eyes like she was waking up from her bed. She also looked around in confusion. Slowly, the others start to wake up, acted the same; shocked and confused.

Twilight then asked, “W-where we’re we? I remembered that we are fighting against an alicorn. We were in the castle. Suddenly a flash came around.”

The others just agreed, still shocked from what’s happening.

“You’re in the otherside of the Everfree Forest. Or shall I call it, The Mystical Forest,” said a colt voice. The Main 7 turned to see the source of the voice. A white alicorn came out of the forest shadow - it was Raze.

“You’re witnessing my mind, or should I say… my memories.” Raze said calmly.

The Main 7 gasped in unison, watching Raze who just stand there with a cold face.

Author's Note

This is the first ever novel where the character is exist! I try my best to make the story interesting but any criticism is fine! I need as much opinion because I need to improve from day by day to provide the best of the best story!

Chapter 2: The Painful Memories...

It was all of a sudden. It happened so quick that no one ever saw that coming. The sudden flash has brought the Main 7 somewhere around Equestria - it was damn sure it’s not on PonyVille. It’s somewhere in the forest, but they didn’t know where and when is the time and the place it takes. But for now, in front of them, a white colt alicorn is standing in front of them. The villian and the devil himself - none other than Raze, the colt that just beaten their Elements with a sudden flash. It was silence but the feel of hatred and disgust filled the atmosphere by The Main 7.

Suddenly Rainbow Dash gets closer to Raze, having her forehead collide with his. She suddenly yelled in anger, “WHERE DID YOU BROUGHT US?!”

Raze pushed Rainbow Dash, making her to back off. Raze try to explain but Applejack interrupted, “Wherever we are, you better bring us back you, buckrat!”

Raze try to reply but another voice interrupted - it was Pinkie, “Yeah, we won’t fall for your stupid illusion magic!”

‘Alright that’s it!’ said Raze in his thought. He shouted in anger, “LET ME EXPLAIN FIRST YOU DUMBPONIES!”

That shout makes them to silence. Raze calmed down and explained, “*sigh* Like I said, we are in my memories! If you girls keep going like this, I will not hesitate to send you ponies to the worst nightmare you’ve ever seen!”

Raze stared them coldly, didn’t even give any warm smile to the mares. He get his poker face back and explained, “We are here because I want you to see why I don’t like having friends.”

“Why would we want to see you memories?! I bet it’s just some of the problem that actually caused by yourself! I won’t go anywhere!” Rainbow Dash rebelled against him.

“*sigh* so everyone don’t really want to know?”

Raze just stared them blankly - each of them didn’t even want to see it. Somehow, Twilight and Fluttershy felt sympathy for Raze.

Raze let out a big sigh, “Alright, I’ll send you guys back after I-”

“I’ll be with you,” said Twilight, no more, no less.

“W-well, I will join too i-if y-you don’t mind.” Fluttershy nervously ask.

Raze still keep the same poker face and replied, “Whatever, if you don’t want to lost, don’t lose the track of me. I won’t get you back on the trail, find it yourself.”

Raze start walking into the woods, going ahead than the mares. Twilight turned around looking at them, “Are you sure you guys don’t want to join us?”

Rainbow Dash, being the presenter of the other replied, “Nah, we’re good, we’ll wait here till you guys done. For now, I won’t trust that guy at all.”

The other just agree with Rainbow Dash statement except for Fluttershy who decided to join by Twilight’s side.

“I know it’s bad, but I don’t think he’s evil-”

“No, Twilight. We are definitely not coming around. I don’t want to see that guy after what he did to me.” Sunset coldly reply after peeked on her back. Still, the bruise gave her a painful traumatic event on her. “I don’t want to see his face. Not this time.”

Twilight let a big sigh while Fluttershy just stand there silently besides Twilight.

From far away, Raze shouted, “Oi, are you coming around or not?!”

Twilight replied, “Yeah, we’re coming!” she turned back on her friends, “Alright girls, but I hope you can forgive him if I’m able to convince him that friendship is not as bad as he thought.”

“Pfft, good luck with that. That dude just hurt your sister-in-law! How did you still not angry by him yet?!”

Twilight wants to reply but she couldn’t as soon as she remembered that Raze won’t wait for them to catch up. “We’ll talk about it later. For now, you guys wait here. I and Fluttershy will see what this is all about.”

“Yeah,” They said in unison.

Twilight and Fluttershy immediately fly away to catching up with Raze that already gone into the woods.

After a few minutes of flight, they finally saw Raze. They fly down and landed right behind him.

“Hi…Raze! We thought you were in the woods but… what is this?” Twilight didn’t finish her words when she saw a huge old mansion.

Raze replied without looking at them, “This is where I live when I was a young foals. I live with many foals that’s also doesn’t have a family like me. When I was young, I didn’t have many friends because most of them didn’t like my eyes appearance. They either gonna mock me or call me the cursed pony.”

A few foal’s laugh can be heard. Twilight and Fluttershy turned around to see a few fillies passed through them like they’re a hologram. They eyed the fillies just to see a white unicorn that looked like Raze but the foal is just a regular pony. He just walked towards the orphanage with a book carried by his magic. While he was walking, two foals just passed him and one of them collided making Raze to drop his book.

The female foal just said, “Oops, sorry, Cursed! Didn’t see you there!” then leave him as she catching up with her friend. Young Raze just picked up the book and looked at them from far away and muttered, “*sigh* Like always, Raze. A simple greet and they’re gone.” He walked inside the orphanage with a sad face. Alicorn Raze just let out a big sigh. He walked towards the orphanage without even calling Twilight. Twilight and Fluttershy just followed Raze into the orphanage.

When they’re inside, they were amazed by the size of the living room they were entering. It was a cheerful place, filled with laugh and happiness. A talk between two grown mares and colt in a circle, a bunch of foals playing board games and one white foals happily reading an old book that look like it’s about to crumble on an old couch. Alicorn Raze gets closer to his young version and peeked what he was reading.

“Hmph, I didn’t know there’s actually six kind of elements conjure. How did Gusty the Great even came up with that?”

Twilight was shocked, “Gusty the Great?!”

She immediately run besides young Raze and read what it was written, but it was useless. The language of the ponish was so hard to transcribe that it make Twilight eyes to squint and require two Archmage to translate it. Raze looked towards Twilight, “Wait, you don’t understand what was written?”

“You understand the language?!” Twilight was surprised by Raze question.

“Urhm, of course I can! It is pretty easy.” Raze calmly replied, still remaining the same poker face.

Twilight just stared Raze in disbelief. Then she realizes something is off and she gasped, “Raze…is that diary of Gusty the Great?”

Raze just nodded, “Yeah, what’s the problem?”

“WHERE DO YOU OBTAIN THIS DIARY, RAZE?!” Twilight shout in shock.

Raze eyes widened and he nervously replied, “I-uhh…”

“HEY!”

A shout take the attention of the trio including the young version of Raze. A young brown Pegasus with a blonde mane with his earth pony sidekick is staring towards young Raze.

“What do we have here? Trying to be a nerd now, Cursed?” said the Pegasus.

“Oh come on, Brown Dirt, can you leave me alone, at least?” young Raze muttered.

“Oh well, well, well, now you’re brave to talk back aren’t you, Cursed?” Said Brown Dirt, doesn’t care about young Raze feelings.

“I’m not, Cursed! I am Raze!” young Raze shout in anger.

“Pfft, yeah, yeah, Raze the Cursed, we don’t care! What you’re reading? Give it to me!” a blue furred foal with red mane immediately snatched the diary from Raze hand.

“HEY!” young Raze shouted.

Three of the foals start to bully him by passing the diary to each other everytime Raze get closer.

“Over here, Cursed!”

“No, it’s over here!”

“Hey, now it’s here!”

Twilight that was watching were angry but, Raze, immediately raised his left leg, preventing Twilight from doing anything. That making Twilight to feel irritated. But after a few seconds later, one magic snatched the book from the Pegasus immediately. There’s a unicorn mare with a cream fur and a pink mane with a smiling sun cutie mark came through, “Brown Dirt, how many time I have to told you about manner?” the grown mare stared the young Pegasus in the eyes with anger. The three foals were trembling in fear as soon they were caught on the act.

“Three of you, go back to your room and think back about what you three did!” said the mare.

The three foals grunted - slowly walking back to their respective room. Twilight that sees sighed in relief.

Young Raze smiled when he got his book back and thanked, “Thank you, Miss Sunny!”

Sunny, who is the cream mares just replied, “Don’t worry Raze, I know you’re always being bullied.”

Young Raze frowned, “Yeah, they didn’t like me to be here.”

Sunny immediately put her hooves under Raze’s jaw, making him to stare her in the eyes sadly. Sunny replied, “Raze, no matter how’d you look like, you’re always unique to me.”

Raze smiled and chuckled. Twilight and Fluttershy who just watching gave a sad smile - they felt touched by the act of the mare. But Raze, he didn’t even change his poker face. Just stand still watching. Suddenly the place shifted, making both Twilight and Fluttershy to be scared. When it stopped, it shows that the orphanage was facing an extreme thunderstorm. The entire worker in the orphanage was trying their best to stop the place from collapsing. Twilight and Fluttershy gasped in shock watching the disaster slowly collapsing the entire mansion down. Raze calmly walk inside with Twilight and Fluttershy following him from behind. As they entered the orphanage again, there are so many blood spilled on the grounds. Most of the blood comes from the falling debris from above them. From a distance, a shout can be heard,

“Raze, what you are doing?! Come back!” Sunny shout from a room. Young Raze can be seen running towards outside of the orphanage. Raze immediately followed his younger version without hesitation. Twilight and Fluttershy just followed him from behind, still wondering what is happening. As they reach outside, young Raze can be seen trying to cast a magic to the sky, trying to get rid of the cloud. Sunny came out from the orphanage and shouted, “RAZE WHAT YOU ARE DOING?! THAT IS DANGEROUS!”

“I’M TRYING TO MOVE THE CLOUD MISS SUNNY!” Raze replied with determination. But no matter how hard he tries, it won’t do anything. Suddenly, a single large debris collided with young Raze causing him to roll to the right.

“RAZE!!!!!!” Sunny shout in worries. She comes towards Raze that lying on the ground. “Come on, Raze. Don’t die. I still believe in you. Please.” But it won’t do anything. Raze still lying unconscious.

Sunny burst a tear and muttered in her cry, “Please, please don’t let our hope down, Raze. Even no one cares about you. I will always do, no matter what happened.” Her tears dropped on Raze forehead.

After the drop, young Raze body starts to glow, causing a sudden flash around him. Young Raze levitates, releasing a warm embrace, making Sunny stopped to cry and stunned. The flash caused the storm to stop and dragging the attention of the others from the inside. Everyone quickly got out and witnessing something that they never saw before. Then, the flash was getting brighter making everyone blinded by the magic. As the flash stopped, Raze slowly levitates back down and stand on four legs. He slowly opened his eyes and looked around. Everyone including Twilight and Fluttershy were frozen, amazed and shocked at the moment. Young Raze was an alicorn. Cheer filled up the atmosphere and three of the foals that were bullying him immediately carry him back into the orphanage. Sunny, who was left behind, just smiled in tears. She was proud that Raze turned into an alicorn.

All the dreams turned into a black pitch void, leaving only Twilight and Fluttershy facing Raze in amazement.

“You turn into an alicorn without princess blessings?!” said Twilight and Fluttershy in unison.

He nodded, still keeping his poker face.

“That was amazing! No pony would able to turn into an alicorn without the princess blessings! You’re pure blessings to Equestria!” Twilight glazed Raze.

Suddenly, Raze poker face turned into an irritating face, he stared Twlight and harshly talk, “Blessing? BLESSINGS?!”

Woosh, the memory shifted again, and now it’s showing a countless amount of death caused by Raze accidentally. Either he accidentally blasted one of his friends with his magic or accidentally pushed her friend into a deep ravine. It was a fast memory until it was stopped at one memory. The memory widened and now they’re in the middle of the woods. This time it was a Raze, with Brown Dirt and two other foals which is Brown Dirt’s sidekick with Miss Sunny wearing a hood, walking through the woods.

“Alright, foals, we’re dividing into two groups alright? Brown Dirt, you and your two other friends will try to find the blueberries that way,” said her while pointing to the other side, she added more, “Me and Raze will search for raspberries around here, alright?” she smiled warmly.

Alright, come on guys, let’s find the blueberries! Whoever is the last is a rubber chicken!”

The three foals playfully run around with basket in their hand, leaving Raze who just stare them with jealousy.

“Why can’t I be with them, Miss Sunny?” Raze look onto his caretaker eyes.

Sunny let slight chuckles, “Raze, you still unable to use your magic properly. I don’t want you to accidentally hurt one of your friends.”

Raze blow a raspberries and replied, “Alright…”

They walking, plucking and searching until they reach a really high edge off a cliff. During that time, Raze was looking at the beautiful sight of the other side of the forest which is PonyVille and Canterlot that can be seen from the distance.

“Wow…that is a beautiful castle and town! Miss Sunny what is that place?” Raze ask excitedly.

Sunny came by and replied with a slight chuckle, “That is Canterlot, where the Queen of Sun was resting.”

“You mean Queen Celestia?! Wow, I wish I can go there!” said Raze excitedly then taken a sit.

Sunny sit next to Raze and replied, “One day, Raze. One day, I believe that you can go there.” She gave Raze a warm smile. The moment was followed by a gentle breeze that passes by their face, giving a calm vibes on the cliff. Suddenly, the moment were interrupted by a loud scream coming from the back. Both ponies turned around and saw that Brown Dirt and his friends were chased down by a cocktarice.

“HELP!” the Pegasus yell in fear.

They immediately hide behind the grown mare while Raze by her side. Then the cocktarice was followed by a bunch more cocktarice came out of the bushes.

“What are this cocktarice doing during this morning?! They’re not supposed to be here!” said Raze in fear and confusion.

Sunny didn’t even have time to close her eyes, the cocktarice quickly turned her into stones. That made the foals screams in unison, “MISS SUNNY!”

Now their caretaker was turned into stone, the foals were clueless and afraid.

“We’re gonna die!” said Brown Dirt in fear.

Raze just stands there in fear until suddenly; he felt that something is whispering into his mind, ‘Fear is just another key to success.’

The voice caused Raze’s eyes to glow and causing him to levitate. As soon as a flash occurred, Raze’s friends fainted while all the cocktarice ran away, scared by Raze’s power. As soon as Raze landed, he accidentally pushed his caretaker into the ravine. He was shocked and immediately grabbed her by his hooves, he try his best not to let his hand slipped of his caretaker. As his caretaker turned back to normal, Sunny was dizzy and panicked as soon as she looked down. She looked up to see that Raze was trying to save her from her demise. Somehow, Raze weren’t able to pull her as she was weighing more than Raze could do. She stared Raze with full amazement, sympathy and love. Then she took off her hood, and passes it next to Raze. That makes Raze to be confused.

Sunny explained, “Raze, let it go.” She let off a tear.

Raze eyes widened while struggling, “Are you crazy?! You’re going to die!”

Sunny calmly replied, “It’s better than having both of us meeting our own demise.”

“No, I won’t let you go!” said Raze while bursting tears.

“Raze,” she stared his eyes, “Whenever you feel sad, whenever you feel humiliated, touch the hood that I gave you. I believe that you can go on without me.”

“Don’t worry, I had wings! I can save-”

“Raze,” Sunny interrupted. “You’re not trained enough and strong enough to carry me. I’m sorry, forgive me but you had to move on without me. Goodbye,” she burst out her last tear and closed her eyes, “Raze.”

She let herself to freefall to her own demise. Twilight and Fluttershy who were watching gasp in unison, while Raze just closed his eyes in pain.

“NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” Raze shout to the top of his lungs.

Suddenly, a Sonic Rainboom occurred during that time. He just stared blankly as he slowly watches his caretaker die to the fall. The other foals were slowly waking up and rubbed their eyes.

“W-where is Miss Sunny?” Brown Dirt asked, getting close to Raze. He saw that Raze was holding a hood which belongs to Sunny.

Brown Dirt stuttered, “D-did her…?”

Twilight and Fluttershy was slowly following Raze while feeling sympathy from behind who was following the depressed foals that slowly walking back to the orphanage. Three of them can see the young Raze is wearing the cloak while staring into the path they’re taking.

As soon as they arrived, a grown colt with gray fur and black mane greeted them with confusion.

“Hi, welcome back! Urm, where is caretaker Sunny?” the colt asked.

The question was left unanswered.

Neither of them starts talking.

“Where is Sunny…?” The colt asks in suspicion.

Still a silence, the colt sighed, “Alright, you kids shouldn’t leave her alone-”

“She’s dead.” said the Brown Dirt coldly.

That statement makes the colt eyes widened. He stared, “Is this another joke you made Brown Dirt? I know you-”

“S-she died fallen of t-the cliff.” Another blue unicorn foal answered.

“What?! How did-”

“Raze pushed her off.” Brown Dirt continued.

Raze eyes widened, “B-Brown Dirt, w-what you mean that I…?”

The Pegasus walks beside the grown colt and shouted, “RAZE DOESN’T WANT TO SEE SUNNY SO HE PUSHED HER OFF THE CLIFF TO KILL HER!”

The other two foals that were beside were shocked. The blue unicorn replied, “B-but…”

The Pegasus gave him a dead stare making him scared to reply. The unicorn just walks alongside the Pegasus staring the path in guilt. The earth pony besides Raze didn’t know what to do and just simply walk besides the Pegasus while trembling, but he also has the same guilt.

“Raze, is this…true?” The grown colt asked.

“No…I would never kill my own caretaker! Why would I do that?! I thought were friends Brown!” Raze shout in despair. Raze ran pass them, going upstairs and run towards his own room. He closed the door shut and locked it. He goes on his bed and cries all the way he can.

“Why, this is happening to me? Why fate did this to me? What did I do to deserve this?!” young Raze continue cries.

The alicorn Raze just watch his young version cry nonstop.

Twilight get to Raze’s side, “So, your friends accuse you of killing your caretaker?”

Raze weakly nodded. Silence filled the room for a while. From the room, a few fusses can be heard coming from below the room.

“He is a killer! He killed the caretaker while were fainted!”

“How a kid could on your age can kill a caretaker, Brown Dirt?! He’s not even brave enough to get to the kitchen during the night!”

“But I see him holding the hood! He must be pushed her down the cliff!”

“For what kind of reason he did that?! Now you tell me, FOR WHAT REASON HE KILL A CARETAKER?!”

Silence occurred. Twilight and Fluttershy were speechless.

“Now you sit here. I’m going to investigate this ridiculous unbiased accusation.”

A few stomps can be heard leaving the room below them. Then Brown Dirt muttered from below, “If not because of that alicorn is Sunny’s favorites, I wouldn’t want to be friend with that stupid kid. I hate him so much!”

That make young Raze wake from his bed, he immediately try to hear what Brown’s talking about.

“That stupid, Raze, I hate him so much! I would rather choose to die rather than be friend with a kid that has a weird eyeball! If not because he an alicorn, I wouldn’t even want to see his face! What does he think he is?! Cooler than me?! I deserve better! I deserve to be in his place, not some kid with weird eye illness!” Brown shouts in anger.

That makes young Raze and the ones watching speechless. Suddenly, young Raze stands up. He walks to his work table and start opening his desk searching for something.

During that time, Twilight look towards Raze while trembling, “R-Raze, t-that…was…”

Before Twilight could finish, young Raze slammed the desk after he take a note. He wrote down for a while and stopped. He gets off his desk, pull out a saddle bag, wear Sunny’s hood and start to gather everything he need. He took out all of the food from his secret stash and put it into his saddle bag. He carries the saddle bag then walked to the room window. He opened the window and about to jump off but he looked towards his desk once again. An old diary sits still. He walks towards it and stared for a few seconds.

Twilight and Fluttershy both confused but Raze know what is happening. Young Raze put it in his saddlebag, running towards the window and jumped off.

Twilight and Fluttershy both gasped in horror as they watch young version of him just jumped off the windows. Raze do a side eyes at both of them and smirked. Both pony walks towards the window to see what will happen to young Raze. As they look through, they see young Raze is gliding in the air and landed gracefully. Young Raze runs into the woods, never been able to be seen again.

Twilight and Fluttershy turned around to see Raze. Twilight talked first, “So you’re running away from the orphanage?”

Raze replied, keeping his poker face, “Yes. I chose to run away. I didn’t even think to come back anymore. Since that day, I trained myself with Gusty’s diary on my side. I believe that having friends is like having your own enemy in the sleeves.”

They shifted to another place and time, this time, Raze has grown and now spying on the mares from far away. From the day that Princess Luna returned, The day where Lord of Chaos reforming, the day where The Main 6 fight against the demon version of Sunset Shimmer and joining the group, and the day where they fighting Tirek as a group. He watches them from far away, studying their movement.
Twilight turned against Raze with her eyes widened, “Y-you…have been watching us the whole time?”

“Yup, I even secretly watch the other princesses’ movement. I want myself to be prepared when I’m about to face you girls.”

Twilight was speechless. Raze just stared her with his poker face. Then Raze suddenly talk coldly, “Now enough with all of this memory. Now you see why I don’t trust friendship. They’ll betray you. They make fun of you from behind or worse…they try to take you down.”

Twilight stared Raze with determination, “No, friends will always by your side, no matter what happen. It’s just you who are being deceived by a bad influence. I can ensure”

“ENSURE WHAT, PRINCESS?! MY FRIENDS! THEY’RE JUST USING ME MY WHOLE LIFE! HOW YOU COULD BE EXPECTING FROM ME?! I DIDN’T HAVE ANYONE BUT ME…BUT ME!!!!!!!”

The sudden scream starts to release a strong aura that causes a strong wind to push Twilight Fluttershy to the back. Twilight stands up, fighting the strong forces of wind, “But I can show you! I can show you why friendship is beautiful!” said Twilight who instantly fly towards Raze as fast she could to reach him.

“HOW CAN YOU PROVE TO ME ABOUT IT, PRINCESS? I’VE BEEN HURT A LOT…A LOT!!!!!!!!!!!” Raze scream to the top of his lung as his eyes glows in white and bursting a tears staring at her.

“By…this.” Twilight hugged Raze, causing Raze to stop the force he released. For a second, he thought the one that hugged him is his beloved caretaker but once he blinked its Twilight who is hugging him with full empathy and cares. Raze was stunned. He slowly hugged Twilight and burst tears at the fullest. Twilight just gave him a slow but calming pat on the back. Fluttershy slowly walks towards them and give a sad smile and joined the hug. During the hug Raze heard some whisper,

‘No matter how’d you look like, you’re always unique to me.’

He stopped hugging and turned around. Nothing was around him. It’s just a dark void with two mares in front of him. Twilight looked towards Raze with confusion, “What’s wrong, Raze?”

“N-nothing, I thought I heard a voice.” Raze replied.

Twilight gave Raze a sad smile, but the smile stopped and she gasped, “WAIT, WHAT HAPPENED TO RAINBOW DASH AND THE OTHERS?!”

Raze chuckled and replied calmly, “Don’t worry, the first time we shifted the memory, they will drop into the memory void causing them to wake up.”

Twilight sighed in big relieve. She walks closer to Raze and touched his shoulder, “Raze, I promise you. If you are our friends, I promise that we will never abandon you.”

Raze just smiled and drop a tear. He replied, “Thank you, Twilight. But first,” Raze horn sparked, slowly getting brighter and blinding Fluttershy and Twilight.

Both Twilight and Fluttershy wake up while gasping for air. They looked around and saw that Rainbow Dash and the others were surrounding them.

“Thanks Celestia, you finally awake!” Sunset immediately gave Twilight a big hug which Twilight replies with a hug too. They stopped hugging and Applejack asked her a question, “So…how it’s going with Raze?”

Twilight replied, “Yeah, turns out that he…wait where is Raze?!”

The other immediately makes a nervous face but as soon as Twilight looked onto the throne, she was shocked that Princess Celestia is lifting Raze by his throat. Raze start to break a sweats but maintaining the poker face.

“What did you do to Twilight?” Celestia said coldly.

Twilight from the distance shouted, “Celestia, wait! He is reformed now!”

Princess immediately looked towards Twilight and immediately tossed Raze aside. “Twilight, sweet me, I thought you won’t wake up!” said Celestia whilst flying to Twilight and giving her a big hug. Twilight giggled, “Don’t worry, Celestia. I’m alright but for now, I want to introduce you to my new student,” she teleported Raze next to her, “Raze!”

“W-WHAT?!” said the others in unison.

“I know it’s shocking but Raze want to learn about friendship. Trust me, if he learn more about it, I believe, he can be a good allies for Equestria!” Twilight says confidently.

“Whoa, whoa, whoa, hold on a second! I don’t want to be rude but…ARE YOU REALLY GONNA TAKE THE DUDE THAT JUST BEAT THE OTHER PRINCESSES AS YOUR STUDENT?! ARE YOU SERIOUS?!” said Rainbow Dash in disbelief while pointing towards Raze. Raze however, he just gave a nervous smile.

“Yes, I know it’s a hard decision despite what he did, but I believe he can change. Give me a few while and I will prove to you that Raze can change,” said Twilight trying to convince her friends about her decision. Somehow, their friends didn’t believe what Twilight just said. Applejack stood for the rest of them, “Twilight, I don’t want to be rude with ya but…I’m gonna be honest. I don’t think we understand what you’re trying to do. You just woke up and said you’re taking this colt right here” pointing towards Raze, “to be your student? Twilight, I don’t want to disrespect your decision but you know how bad it can be if it won’t turns out well?”

That make Twilight slightly frowned. She replied, “Girls, I know you don’t like what I’m doing, but Raze, he can be changed. He wants to be good. He wants to help. So we can teach him a few ways of friendship, is it okay with you?”

They make a poker face. Applejack let out a big sigh and replied, “Whatever Twilight. Don’t tell I didn’t warn ya.”

She turned her head against Princess Celestia, bowed, and walking towards the throne room throne door. Her action was copied by the others and they all leave Raze and Twilight with Princess Celestia in the room. Raze is sad but he didn’t show it in front of the princesses. Twilight turned around and talk to Celestia, “Celestia, I know this is shocking you, but I felt something is special about him. I believe if I can show him the beauty of friendship, Raze can be the greatest allies that we ever had.”

Celestia stared Raze deeply, causing the male alicorn to get nervous. Celestia let a big sigh and replied, “Alright, Twilight. I have a high hope in you for this.”

Celestia turned around to leave but she was interrupted by Raze, “Urm, Princess Celestia?”

Celestia looked towards Raze from the sides of her eyes. Raze continued, “I-I’m sorry. I’m really sorry for causing this havoc and mess. I...I hope you can forgive me. I was too naïve that I just followed my heart blindly. C…Can you forgive me?”

Celestia just looked at Raze face without replying. She turned back and walks silently. Twilight looked at Raze with a worried look while for Raze, he believe that this is going to be a long journey for him.

I don't know how lame this part was but I believe this maybe the worst story so far(I guess). But soon, I will try my best to create a better chapter and interesting stories! But for now...
The journey begans...

Chapter 3:The Grief

It was a new day in PonyVille. It’s just a few days since the messed up Summer Sun Celebration but the atmosphere in the town could be one of the happiest towns you’ve ever seen. From the distance, one castle can be seen. The castle is known for Castle of Friendship, which is one of a few castles that wasn’t built but emerge from the depths. In the castle there are a few creatures that live in it. But for now, we’re focusing into one specific room that located across Starlight’s room. In the room, a pony can be heard snoring even though it’s already late. The pony suddenly wakes up, revealing his white furred face. The pony is Raze, or should be called an alicorn. He wakes up and yawning while enjoying the sunlight hitting his face. He smiled in enjoyment while looking around. He suddenly makes a surprised face as he was confused.

‘Wait a minute. Whose house is this?’ Raze said in his thought. Then he make a poker face, ‘Oh yeah, now I remember. This is Twilight’s castle. I haven’t slept that long since I was a foal.’ He gets out of the bed and doing some stretching while thinking out loud, “Alright Raze. It’s now your chance to be a changed colt. Actually…I didn’t expect that I would live in this castle.”

He tries to remember the conversation between him and Twilight.

They were walking back to PonyVille after the celebration was over. Raze was walking by Twilight’s side. It’s just both of them since Spike already gotten home. It was an awkward silence for Raze. About Starlight, she already patched up and brought home by Trixie. Suddenly, Twilight looked at Raze, “Raze, why don’t you show me your house? Maybe I can swing by when I want to teach you the magic of friendship!”

Raze chuckled nervously, “Uh, um, actually…I doesn’t have a house. Don’t you saw than in my memories?”

“Oh yeah, I forgot,” said Twilight. Another silence occurred. Twilight then got an idea and continued, “Why don’t you live in the castle with us?”

That makes Raze eyes widened, “A-are you sure? I don’t want to…”

“Don’t worry, it won’t weigh me! Even though it’s gonna take a while to convince Starlight that you’re going to live across her bedroom.” Twilight chuckled.

Raze didn’t laugh. He knows why Starlight won’t like that. Raze almost killed her during the battle and she definitely won’t like that. But he smiled anyway as soon he imagined how funny it would be. He suddenly laughs out loud. Twilight that walking besides him joined in the laugh. As they finished, Raze looked at Twilight and gave her a warm smile that would calm anyone down. Raze touches Twilight’s shoulder and said calmly, “Thanks, Twilight. If you’re not the one who trusted me, I think I will be turned into a stone.”

That smile makes Twilight to smile and blush a little. The sudden wind breezes make the atmosphere livelier. They finally kept walking towards PonyVille even though it’s gonna take a while.

Raze smiled remembering the time he talked with Twilight. He stretched for the last time and opened the door of his bedroom. As soon as he opened, he was stunned.

Starlight, in front of him also opened her bedroom door. Around Starlight’s back and barrel, a bandage was patched. Both ponies were staring for a long time. Raze were nervous started to break a sweat while Starlight just menacingly staring at him with hatred. When they walked, both of them were going into the same direction. For a long time, both of them were walking side by side. Raze were getting more nervous while Starlight getting more irritated. They both arrived into the kitchen when they see Twilight and already occupied seat on the table.

“Oh hi, Raze! Hi, Starlight! Come one have a sit! Spike is cooking a special pancake today.” Said Twilight when excitedly watching both of the ponies were side by side. Then, both of them going their own chair and sit on it and now, they’re facing each other. Raze just smiled nervously while Starlight stared him with full hatred. If she can choke Raze on the spot till the alicorn was dead, she would do it. But to respect Twilight’s decision, she’s going to let Raze slide. Finally, the awkward silence was interrupted by Spike.

“Here’s the best of the best for both of you,” he prepared the delicious looking pancake in front of Starlight and Twilight while talking elegantly, “for me,” he put a pancake that covered in gems, still talking elegantly, “and lastly..” he putted a little bit burnt pancake in front of Raze. Suddenly, he felt that he was being stared by two creatures. When he looked at Spike, Spike was giving a deadly stare at Raze. Raze immediately chickened out as soon he remembered that Spike is Twilight’s step brother meaning that Princess Cadance actually count as his sister.

“For you.” said Spike, sounds like he was threatening Raze’s life. He sits on his occupied chair, start reading and eating his pancake while covering his face with the Power Ponies comic. It was an awkward silence. Raze just ate the pancake even though it was poorly made. As soon he eats that, he actually satisfied. He finished it in just a few seconds and commented, “Wow…that was a very good pancake!”

Spike turned down his Power Ponies comic and stared Raze; he thought that was sarcasm. Starlight also starts to stare Raze. Raze who realize that immediately sit still and looked down like a punished filly. Both Starlight and Spike rolled their eyes and continue on doing what they’re doing. Raze backed off his seats and told them, “W-well, I better g-go somewhere.” He walked out but Twilight shouted, “Wait, you’re staying! We will have a first lesson of friendship.”

Raze eyes widened his eyes and turned around. He chuckled nervously, “Uh…okay…”

Twilight clapped her hooves, “Excellent, I have a good first lesson for you and this is going to be great! Come on follow me!”

Twilight was excited. She runs and pulled Raze on her side, leaving Spike and Starlight eating their pancake. Spike lowered his comic and looked at Starlight, “Are you thinking what I’m thinking?”

Starlight looked back, “Let’s go.”

Both of them stopped eating and immediately run in hurry towards somewhere in the castle.

Twilight was pulling Raze across the street attracting the attention of everypony around them.

“Twilight, where are you taking me?!” ask Raze, shouting in confusion.

“We’re going to meet every single of my friends and the first one is Sunset!” Twilight says excitedly.

Sunset?! Raze thought screaming in fear.

Raze replied nervously, “Why, Sunset?! Can’t we start with someone else?!”

Twilight excitedly reply, “Because it happened that, Sunset is perfect for this lesson!”

“WHAT LESSON IS THIS?!” Raze shout, asking Twilight.

“This is your first lesson: Learn to apologies!” Twilight replied in excitement. Raze eyes widened but realize it was too late to refuse. He just accepted the fate that was fallen upon him.

In the castle, Spike and Starlight was investigating Raze’s room. They investigate every corner of the room but nothing seems odd in the room. Their eyes finally lay onto his saddlebag. They both get closer to it.

“Do you think he might have something up in his sleeves?” Spike asked.

“I don’t know, but we might found out after this.” Starlight immediately opened his saddlebag and start investigating.

“You know, I think this is not such a good idea…” Spike tries to negotiate with Starlight.

Starlight turned around, “Seriously? You’re the one who said this was a good idea!”

A few flashback occur,

After Twilight and Raze fall asleep, Starlight and Spike meet up in the kitchen.

“I think Raze has something up his sleeves,” said Starlight giving her opinion that night.

“If he does, how can we prove that?” Spike asked towards Starlight.

“I don’t know…maybe investigate his room?” Spike gave an idea.

“That’s sound good but are you sure you want to barge in and just search his room in every corner?” Starlight asks with caution.

“I think it’s good enough. When Raze was distracted with Twilight, we took that chance,” said Spike confidently.

End of a flashback.

“What’s this?” said Starlight whilst lifting an old diary. She flipped through the book whilst reading the pages. Her eyes widened, “GUSTY THE GREAT?!”

Spike eyes widened, shocked too, “Gusty the Great?! What do you mean?!”

Starlight shows Spike the pages and it widened his eyes, “What’s this? I can’t understand what it says.”

Starlight replied, “Oh, it’s an old language but I manage to use a magic to translate it anyway. Here, let me read it for you. She read it out loud,“I, Gusty the Great, have found the six ways to conjure magic elements. It categorized as, Power, Concentration and Imagination which is the basic elements.”

“Wait, so theirs is no three way to conjure a magic?” Spike ask in confusion.

Starlight replied, “Yes, it says there’s three ways to conjure a magic in StarSwirl’s book but in here, it says there’s six!”

Then she keep reading,

“The basics can be learning from the very young age. However, there are three more ways to conjure but it needs a next level of concentration, persistency and focus. It was Agility, Precision and Endurance. This kind of conjure can be handled at the same time, making the spell caster to have a higher ground in the battle and that’s what I’m doing. Myth says, if you able to master all three of this, it will be easy for you to learn the basics ways making you the strongest mage in Equestria.”

Starlight and Spike looked onto each other. Starlight shakes her head then shout, “Where did he get this diary?!”

“That doesn’t matter, what matter now is that this diary is not what we’re looking for. Come on, check if there’s another diary.”

Both Starlight and Spike tossed the diary aside and keep on searching for something that has to do with Raze.

Raze and Twilight is now walking towards Sweet Apple Acres. Twilight sighed in disappointment, “Sunset didn’t seem to be home. Oh well, nevermind, we’re going to do the second friendship lesson; helping the others!”

Raze tilted his head while walking besides Twilight, “Helping…others?”

Twilight smiled, “Yes, it means that you offer to help them! Do you understand?”

Raze nervously smiled and replied, “Yeah, I sure I can!”

As they arrived, they saw Applejack carrying a wagon of apples. Applejack saw them coming by and decided to take a closer look.

Twilight whispers to Raze, “Hey, try to ask her if she needs help!”

Raze gulped as Applejack closer. Applejack closer and looked towards Twilight while staring at Raze, “What are you doing here Twilight? And…why Raze is here?” she look at Raze with a confused face.

Twilight smiled and pushed him to face Applejack, “Oh yeah, he want to join me to have a walk so I have a good idea!”

She gives Raze a sign by giving Raze a weak elbow hit.

“Oh! Uh…yeah.” said Raze nervously with a nervous smile. He cleared his throat and speak in a cold and threatening voice, “Do you need any help, mortal?”

That makes Applejack to frighten making her face to sweat as Raze sounds like he’s threatening her. Twilight suddenly pulled him to her side and whisper, “Don’t speak in that tone! Speak in a calm and friendly voice!” said her before put Raze into his position back. Raze chuckled nervously and cleared his throat once again, “Oh…uh…I mean…” Raze sighed and gave her the most charming and calmest smile that make her to be stunned and a little blushed.

Raze asked, “Do you need any help, Miss Applejack?”

That makes Applejack to have a slight blush. She rubbed the back of her head, can’t react to the awkwardness in the atmosphere. Twilight whipers in Raze’s ear, “What is that smile?! That’s not a calming smile, that’s a charming smile! Are you trying to flirt with her?!”

Raze gulped, “W-Well, Applejack! I *gulped* may I ask if you…”

“We don’t want a help from a pony that dare to hurt our dear princess!” an old mare voice can be heard from the distance. It was Granny Smith; besides her were SugarBelle, who gave a little empathy, Big Mac, who gave Raze a deadly stare and Apple Bloom, making a disgusted face while looking at Raze. She slowly walks towards Raze, “I rather have my back bone split into two rather than having a help from a pony that causing a ruckus on our princess!”

Raze didn’t move at inch, totally scared. Twilight saw that situation and interrupted, “Come on, Granny Smith! You can give him at least one chance!” She grinned awkwardly to the old green mare. The old mare doing a side eyes stare whilst inspecting Raze from the top to the bottom. The old mare sighed, “Alright, youngin’, I’ll let you to prove it this time. But that doesn’t mean I trusted you! Big Mac will keep an eye if you’re going to have one heebies-geebies.”

Raze looked towards Big Mac, Big Mac just stared him with hatred. He gulped down, hoping this plan won’t go south.

In the castle, Spike and Starlight are now leaning back to back on each other. They were tired after searching the room for entire hours.

“We have been searching for an hours! How come there’s nothing in this room?!”

Starlight stand up after the lean, “*sigh* I think Twilight is right. There is no way Raze is going to do anything bad.”

“Yeah, I think you’re right. Maybe it’s just us who think about it.” Spike nodded agree. Both of them abut to step out, but another book caught the attention of Starlight. She goes on Raze’s desk and lifted the book with her magic.

“Huh, I thought I didn’t see this book before.” Starlight inspected the book from the front to the back of the cover. She opened and read the book, her eyes were widened.

“Spike, come back! Look at this!” Starlight called Spike making the baby dragon to comeback.

Spike come back and look at Starlight with confusion, “What?”

She shows Spike the book. Spike read it,

Raze log #156, the spy on the Mares

Today is a pretty decent day, not so much to say. The 7 Mares that I spied on, they just defeated Chrysalis once again. It’s seems that the necklaces they wear is giving them the source of the magic. But once I gave a second look, the necklaces didn’t give any magic. I realize, there is one source of magic coming from their leader, Twilight Sparkle. It’s seems that their leader harness a pretty strong power. If I just could find a way to absorb it…

That log make Spike’s eyes widened, “Do you think what I’m thinking?”

Starlight and Spike just stared each other.

Twilight and Raze just finished on Sweet Apple Acres, very early. It’s look like that Raze have a bruise on his body and his nose were bleeding a bit. Twilight looked at Raze’s face in annoyance, “Ugh, how come you could kick that strong?! Even neither Applejack nor Big Mac could kick the tree that strong!”

Raze looked into the sky, trying to remember what exactly happened.

A few minutes ago, Raze and Twilight were in the middle of the apple trees with Applejack and Big Mac teaching Raze how to buck properly.

“Alright, before you help us, I’ll show ya a thing or two,” said Applejack. She walks towards the nearest tree with Big Mac next to them. She faced Raze and Twilight with her forelegs facing an apple tree.

“To buck a tree, you have to make sure get a right angle and…” Applejack deliver a strong buck, causing a bunch of apples fall off the trees, “the apples will fall without leaving any single one hanging.” Applejack smirked while looking at Raze, “Now you give it a try wont’ cha?”

Raze gulped and walk to the trees next to Applejack. He does the position just like what Applejack shows him. He’s about to deliver a buck but Applejack interrupted, “Gave it a strong buck, partner!” Raze nodded. He raises his forelegs while taking a deep breath then he delivers a strong buck. But what happen next caused Applejack, Big Mac and Twilight to flabbergast. Raze’s buck caused the tree to split into half and sent it flying in the air across the farm. Raze’s eyes widened and he said, “Oops, my bad.”

When Raze turned around, he was shocked when he sees both Big Mac and Applejack stared at him with full anger.

“HOW DARE YA KILL APPLE JUNIOR!” Applejack shouted in anger. “I’M GONNA MAKE SURE YOU’LL PAY FOR THIS!” she immediately chases Raze with Big Mac following her from behind. Raze shrieked to the top of his lungs. Before he could run away, Applejack and Big Mac already reached him and start to give Raze a single blow to his face. It’s now a ruckus as Raze screaming for help while Applejack and Big Mac screaming in hatred while giving Raze a few blows.

“ARGH!!!!!!! TWILIGHT!!!!!!!! YOUR FRIENDS!!!!!!! *GASP* NONONONONO-”

One punch landed straight to the face. After a few minutes, Twilight was able to bring Raze out of the fight. They decided to leave early as Raze accidentally bucked their trees into another part of the farm.

“She told me to give a strong buck! It’s not my fault!” Raze trying to defend his statement.

“Yeah, but not bucking it to the sky!” Twilight replied him to her annoyance. “This is going to take a while…nevermind! Next one is being generous, let’s get to Rarity’s boutique and we continue our lesson!”

Twilight get ahead of Raze, leaving him to follow Twilight from behind. In Raze’s mind, a negative thought start coming in,

“Do I really a good guy here? Or am I just being a faker? No…I can change. I believe I can.”

He shakes his head and leave out the negative thought and carrying on with his next task. Slowly, something dark, is consuming Raze from the inside.

Raze’s New Log #1 o be a changed Colt

Twilight had shown me the way. She believes I can change. It’s time for a new way of life. It’s time for me to make up all the mess I made before. I don’t know if I can. They…they’ll hate me. I’m not worthy for anyone but for now, I’ll see what I can do. I can be a changed colt. I…I don’t know if I can.

That is the most recent log that Raze’s wrote. This makes Spike and Starlight to look at each other.

“All of the logs just contain information he gathered about us,” Spike said in disappointment.

“But look, it’s says ‘I don’t know if I can’! That means that Raze may have something upon his sleeve!” said Starlight trying to defend her theory.

“You can’t just say it like that. How come he is a bad pony if we can’t even find his true purposes? I think we got to do something bigger. We got to do something…hidden.” said Spike while making squinted eyes.

“You mean…we spy on Raze?” Starlight asks in confirmation.

Spike replied, “Yes.”

Both of them start running to find the exact location of Raze and Twilight.

Twilight and Raze are now heading towards the last place of the lesson - Fluttershy cottage. Twilight is so frustrated for what happening before. Raze has messed up so many lesson, from helping Applejack which end up into a fight to Pinkie’s Baking Session which nearly let the house covered in fire, thanks to Twilight ability to create a water in the thin air, she’s able to create enough water before the fire spread out.

Twilight muttered, “I didn’t believe that you messed up so much. From destroying an apple tree,” she shouted angrily, “YOU NEARLY BURN THE ENTIRE SUGARCUBE CORNER?!”

Raze didn’t look at Twilight and stared the floor. He recall back what happened,

Raze was creating a dress with a gems while being watched by Twilight and Rarity.

Twilight was happily talking, “It didn’t turn out so well at Sweet Apple Acres but at least it’s getting better at here. Right, Rarity?” the mare looks onto her fashionista friends. But Rarity’s face didn’t show any face of happiness.

Rarity muttered slowly, “Don’t worry, Rarity. It’s just a hood.” The whole time, her eyes didn’t seem to take off from Raze’s hood. She can’t handle the resist to clean up Raze’s hood that dirty and smelly. She muttered again, “Don’t worry…it’s just a hood. It’s just a dirty, smelly and poorly designed hood.” She can’t handle it anymore, she try to approach Raze that still focusing on sewing the hood which making Twilight confused.

“Hello, Raze. May I ask you a question?” said Rarity politely.

“Yeah?” Raze reply without looking at her.

“Why don’t you take off your hood? Don’t you feel hot in here?” Rarity asks again.

“Uhh…no? I don’t think I want to, sorry, Rarity. Besides, I love wearing this hood. It reminds me of something.” said Raze whilst leaving a little smile.

‘Urgh, it’s seems it’s going to be hard to convince him to take off the hood. Let’s try my charm.’ Rarity makes a charming face and attractive voice, “Come on, Raze. I don’t it’s necessary to wear a hood in the house. You can take it off. Don’t worry, darling. You can trust me to take care of it.”

Raze looked at Rarity that look at him charmingly. He makes a disgusted face, “Uhh, no thank you? I don’t think it needs anything.”

Twilight realizes it’s about to escalate immediately interrupted, “H-hey guys, I think we should-”

“Raze, darling, plllllllleaseeeeeee, That hood would come handy for you to sew the dress. It distracts you.” Rarity ignored Twilight and kept trying to take the hood.

Raze reply to his annoyance, “No, I don’t need it. How many time I had to tell you? This hood makes me more focus on sewing in anyway.”

“Raze, you. Can. Trust. me.” said Rarity whilst pulling Raze hood with her magic.

“Well, I…said…NO.” said Raze making an angry face.

“Yes.”

“No.”

“YES.”

“NO.”

“YES!”

“NOOOOO!”

Rarity immediately takes a leap on Raze causing both of them to have a fight. Twilight try to cast a magic, but the magic back fired because she missed, making the magic to bounce created a mess around the boutique. Raze and Rarity were fighting each other for Raze’s hood.

“JUST, GIVE ME, THE HOOD!” Rarity shouts in anger.

“NO, I WON’T!” Raze still resist to give Rarity his hood.

“GUYS, STOP!” said Twilight using her Canterlot voice, making both mare and colt to stop arguing. When she looks around, Rarity jaw was dropped as she screamed in horror to see the mess, “WHAT KIND OF MESS IS THIS? NONONO THIS…IS…THE…WORST…THING…THAT EVER…HAPPENED!”

Rarity pulled out a couch and rested on it while pulling out a tub of mint ice cream and eats them straight out of it. She crying all the way - completely forgotten about Raze and Twilight.

Twilight give Raze an eyes motion, telling Raze to slowly come out which Raze did.

The next destination even worse, Raze was asked to race with Rainbow Dash. It’s just a simple job, but once Raze started race, both of them started to get over competitive. Raze being too fast, he also committed a strong Sonic Rainbooms, causing Rainbow Dash next to him to miss fly and landed on a pond. While at the SugarCube Corner, The Cakes didn’t like to let Raze enter the shop but they let him as Twilight convinced that Raze could change. Pinkie who saw Raze immediately greeted him with open hooves. They have a pretty good time together. But it’s all went south when it’s come to baking. During the baking, Raze think it’s good when he turned up the oven a little bit higher, causing the cake dough in the oven to burn up. They panicked but Twilight able to put out the fire before the fire spread out. The Cakes immediately kick Twilight and Raze out afterwards.

End of the flashback. Raze trying to break a tear but he doesn’t want to show it. He replied to Twilight nervously, “I-I…I’m sorry. I think I still don’t understand all of this. I need more time to understand this…friendship.”

Twilight replied in frustration without looking at him, “Alright, we’re going to the last place which is Fluttershy’s cottage. I bet she’s already forgave you.”

“Yeah…I guess so.” Raze replied. Unsure with that statement Twilight made. As they arrived, multiple animals that saw Raze immediately hide away from him. Those make Raze even more hurt. They walked towards Fluttershy’s and Twilight gave a little knock. Before Fluttershy replies, Twilight talk to Raze, “For this last one, you will spend time with the animals.”

Raze just smiled and nodded slowly. Twilight doesn’t know how sad Raze was as he failed every lesson he did. Fluttershy opened the door and excited to see Twilight and Raze.

“Hi, Twilight! Hi, Raze! I heard you guys are coming so I decided to prepare a cup of tea for us to drink!”

“Thanks, Fluttershy, you don’t know how much of a mess happened on the last few lesson.” Twilight felt grateful for the offer but Raze were shocked to hear what Twilight says.

Raze replied, “I-I…I’ll be out here with the animals. I’ll come in later.”

Twilight looked at Raze with guilt. Before she could say anything, Raze immediately walk away. Twilight looked at Fluttershy’s face. The Pegasus faces also showing a worried expression. Fluttershy’s pet, Angel saw what happened from inside, immediately sneak out to see the

“I think we should talk about it inside.” Fluttershy give her a piece of her mind.

“Y-yeah…I think we should.” Said Twilight, filled with guilt.

Raze was sitting next to a pond not far from Fluttershy’s cottage. He was staring the pond with no emotions but sadness. It’s felt like he was being stab in the back. Suddenly, Angel, Fluttershy’s bunny came around looking at him. He immediately pulled his tail off which making Raze to startled.

“Ouch, what’s your problem?” Raze looked at the bunny in confusion. The bunny just does a motion gesture trying to tell Raze something.

Raze replied, “What’s going on with me?”

The bunny nodded.

Raze take the bunny and start to give him a little pat to the head. Raze replied, “I just…you know, being sad. I can’t tell you how much of a sad I am right now. The start of the days till the end of it.”

Celestia lowering the sun, making it look like a sunset. Raze continued, “I-I just can’t do it properly. It’s my first time with this friendship thing you know? I thought I could make this up. But…I didn’t.”

Suddenly, all the animals that hide from Raze start to come closer, felt sympathy for the colt. Raze didn’t can’t even stand it anymore, He cried. He slowly drops his tear. He crying all the way he wants.

“*sniff* I’m a bad guy, always been. You see how much struggles I’ve been trying? So many times, buddy.*sniff* every chance I got, I ruined it. Every good time I had I ruin it. This is all is stupid. I don’t think I deserve it anymore.” His cries grow louder, making the animals around him to feel sad. They didn’t just feel sad, they felt like their dream and hope was crushed like something dark just passed them causing them to felt sad. Raze continued, “You know what? *sniff* I think I’m done. I think…I should use another way. I’m just unforgiveable. I hurt a princess. Not just one but three! THREE! Who would forgive me? Even Celestia herself didn’t want to forgive me, how about the others? I hurt their princess! I hurt everyone!” this statement drew more attention of the animals. All the animals that come by could felt their hope and ambition loses. It felt like there’s no more faith.

Raze finalize, “You know what? I think I should go back to the castle. I…I have no more hope inside me. I felt like I want to be…”

The animals froze. They can felt the chill coming from Raze.

“…dead. Yes, I should be dead.”

Raze stand up, he doesn’t show no more emotion, “I will get back to the castle. Sorry, I guess I didn’t deserve to be here anymore.”

Raze walked away, suddenly, a few animals start to grab Raze by the forelegs. Raze try to kick them off, “Leave me. That is what I should been doing this whole time.”

Angel immediately makes hand motions trying to tell Raze something. Raze coldly replied, “Twilight also didn’t want me. You look how disappointed she is. This is just the way. Now…” he released a strong wave causing the animals that holding him to back off. “Leave. Me. Alone.”

Raze start to fly, he fly towards the castle. Angel panicked, started to run towards Fluttershy’s cottage. The bunny hope he would do anything what the bunny is think about but he decided to tell Fluttershy about that situation.

“Okay, where’s Raze and Twilight? We’ve been looking for them for hours!” Spike complained.

Starlight replied, “After talking with Pinkie, I bet they’re going to Fluttershy’s. Let’s keep going and-”

“What’s that?” Spike pointed to the sky.

Raze was flying in a medium speed. As soon as he passed both the dragon and unicorn, both of them can feel a total chill coming from the Alicorn.

“Burr, what was that?!” Spike asks in shocked.

“I-I don’t know. It felt like m-my hope and determination were…gone.” said Starlight in reply.

“Should we follow him?” Spike asked.

“Yeah. That’s definitely right. Something is up.” Said Starlight before took off running back to the castle.

In the Fluttershy’s cottage, Twilight and Fluttershy can be seen talking about the issues Twilight’s having.

“Oh my, what a tragedy. This must be hard for Raze,” said Fluttershy in worries.

“Yeah, I didn’t believe that will happen. Mostly, the worst thing happened is like when Starlight trying to do friendship’s lesson at once.” Twilight explained. Both of them giggled.

“Yeah, when Starlight uses her magic to do friendship lesson, it’s all a mess.” said Twilight in replies. Suddenly, Angel jump on the top of the table, knocking off the teapot.

“Angel, why did you knock off the teapot?” Fluttershy says in anger. The bunny didn’t care; instead, he does a motion, showing a scene where someone stabs themselves with a knife.

Fluttershy eyes were widened, “RAZE IS WHAT?!?!”

Twilight ask in confusion and worries, “What happened?”

Fluttershy immediately put the tea cup away and pulled Twilight straight out of the house.

“WHERE ARE WE GOING?!” ask Twilight in confusion.

“RAZE IS GOING TO KILL HIMSELF!” said Fluttershy in worries.

“HE’S GOING TO WHAT?!”

Raze was walking towards his room with no emotion on his face. Suddenly, Starlight and Spike came from behind with Starlight shouting, “Raze, what you are doing here?!”

Raze didn’t reply. He lifted both ponies and lifted a table out of his room. He magically bend the table, causing for both of them to stuck.

“RAZE, WHAT ARE YOU DOING AND WHAT’S GOING ON?!” Spike shouted in anger.

Raze didn’t reply, he just walked straight into his room leaving both the dragon and mare stuck together in a bended table. He closed his room, locked it and blocked it. He sits on his bed and sighed.

“Enough despair. Let’s just have a time before we leave. For a full, long time affair,” He stopped talking. Then he continued, “Up there.”

Twilight and Fluttershy arrived in front of the door when they see the other standing In front of it including Sunset Shimmer who can be seen having her back being bandaged.

“Oh hey Twilight, just here to-”

Twilight didn’t reply; instead she running leaving Fluttershy to answer their question.

“Uhh, Fluttershy, what is going on with Twilight?” Applejack asked Fluttershy with concern.

“WE DON”T HAVE TIME TO TALK! RAZE IS ABOUT TO KILL HIMSELF!”

“WHAT?!” said the mares in unison. Without wasting time, they run towards Raze bedroom.

When the mares arrived, Twilight can be seen trying to breach in the doors. Sunset who saw Starlight and Spike bened inside a table immediately freed them. Starlight asked, “What’s going on?! Why Twilight is trying to break the door into Raze’s room?!”

Applejack replied, “RAZE IS GOING TO KILL HIMSELF YOU IDIOT!”

“KILL HIMSELF?!” said both unicorn and dragon at the same time. Now they reached the room. The mares try everything to break the door down. Applejack stands in the way, “Back up ya’ll! I’m gonna handle this!”

Applejack delivers a strong buck causing the door to open by force. As soon as they entered it, they were shocked; Raze was standing in the middle of the room, staring at them with no emotion but tears. Raze already pointed a sharp shard of glass to his chest. He cried all the way he can.

“Sugarcube, you don’t have to do this. Put down the knife and we-”

“Discuss about this?! I’ve already disappointed of myself! I’m not a good person! I am an alicorn but I nearly killed my own kind! I DON’T DESERVE ANYTHING INSTEAD OF DEATH!” Raze shouted in sadness.

The others felt something they never felt before; being hopeless. They felt like their hope were torn down and destroyed.

“WHAT KIND OF PONY AM I?! THE ONE THAT DOESN’T DESERVE ANY PLACE IN THIS WORLD! I BETTER DIE THAN LIVE! I NEARLY EXECUTED A PRINCESS OF MY OWN KIND! A PRINCESS, TWILIGHT, A PRINCESS!!!!!!!!!!” Raze shout in anger and despair.

The feeling makes the mares even heavier. Felt with guilt and sadness, they slowly dropped tears.

“R-Raze, I know you’re sad, but you-” Twilight interrupted by Raze,

“I failed you, Twilight. I failed to be a good friend. I failed to prove that I can change. And now,” he lifted the knife in the air,

“I’ll pay for the price.”

They shrieked and screamed in horror; Raze has stabbed into his chest. But instead of a blood come out, a dark fog came out of his chest. Making the mares even more scared. Raze body cracked and his eyes widened, turned into a white eyes. The dark fog now dropped even faster covering the room quickly.

Twilight shouted in tears, “Raze, don’t do this!”

“Too late, princess. Raze is gone. And now…” Raze replied in an otherworldly voice, “Despair will dropped upon Equestria.”

The fog covered the whole room, quickly separating the mares from each other. Twilight now surrounded by darkness, consuming everything in its path.

Twilight opened her eyes, and looked around. Nothing is there except for Twilight. She looked around and shouted, “Hello? Raze? Pinkie? Celestia?”

Nothing replied her. She asks herself in thought, where is this? What is this thing? Where does Raze have this power? But for now, this is going to be a long trip for the Main 7. A long trip…

In the darkness.

Here we go again! Another chapter dropped! This is just a simple part, I don't want to get too detailed but To be honest, any opinion and criticism is allowed. I need as much opinion cuz I believe I can make this story a bit phenomenal.

Chapter 4: The Darkness

Twilight’s POV

It’s just a dark surrounding. She emits a light from her horn, but it’s not enough to cover the surrounding. It’s look like an endless void. She called for her friends, her dear mentor and Raze. Nothing. There’s nothing that answer her call. She walks and walks and walks but still an endless void. Twilight never felt so much guilt in her life. But this guilt came out of nowhere. She felt like there’s no faith left. She looked around, still a silence. It was until…a strong shriek came from a distance, echoing in the darkness.

Applejack’s POV

She’s now in the Apple farm. Standing doing her own business but the twist, it happened an hour ago and she can’t move her body. She can only see what occurred during that hour. Like usual Raze and Twilight came by but suddenly when Raze approaches, her own voice echo in the room, ‘What in the hay this alicorn doing here now?’ her voice echoes in her mind.

“Wait, how did Raze knows what I’m thinking?!” said Applejack in shock.

‘Nevermind, maybe he just swing by to help Twilight,’ said Applejack in thought.

But it’s not what she’s thinking. Raze came around and asked if he can help. Of course Applejack would refuse but the look on Twilight’s face is filled with hope and determination. She wants to talk but Granny Smith refused. After Twilight able to convince Granny Smith, Applejack thought play again, ‘Oh hay nah, how can Granny Smith just accept him like that?!’

Applejack’s just exhaled, ‘It’s okay, maybe he really wanna change. Let’s see what this alicorn can do with bucking.’

During the bucking Raze accidentally buck an apple tree causing it to fly across the farm. That triggers her and Big Mac’s anger. After the problems were solved, the POV changed into Raze’s. She’s now standing and able to move but invisible through their eyes. She walks besides the colt that listening to Twilight mutters on Raze. But Raze’s was occupied with something else. Raze thought plays, ‘Do I really a good guy here? Or am I just being a faker? No…I can change. I believe I can.’

That makes Applejack’s eyes to widen. She didn’t believe that Raze’s really wanna change. She thought that he is just playing around. Suddenly, a voice of hers echoes but sounds like it mixed with other voices,

‘You will never change. I don’t believe in you liar. You won’t change. You’re just going to cause more ruckuses in Equestria. You deserve to die.’

That makes Applejack to shock, “I didn’t say any of that!”

But the last word echoes,

You deserve to die.

It echoes around Applejack in a loop. “WHAT THE HAY IS THIS?!” she shout in fear. Suddenly she saw Raze cutie mark that makes her eyes to widened, his cutie mark is an orange phoenix opened her wing, emitting a yellow light around it. The cutie mark started to turn darker. Applejack’s eyes were widened. Suddenly everything turns dark. Applejack immediately falls down. A few apple surrounds her, and start echo the same chant,

You deserve to die.

It repeats the same words while slowly rotting, emitting a very strong smell of rotten fruit. She looked around in fear, didn’t know what to do.

Rainbow Dash POV

She’s now standing on top of a cloud. She saw Raze and her other self is getting ready for race.

“What is this all about?!” Rainbow Dash shouts in anger. She just watches Raze and her other self being ready.

“Alright, Raze. If you can beat me, maybe I can reconsider about forgiving you.” Rainbow Dash said arrogantly.

“You bet, Dashie. I’ll be ready for win.” said Raze in replies.

Rainbow Dash chuckled, “Hah, if you can beat me.”

Both of the contestants getting ready as Twilight start counting. After one being said, both competitors immediately take off at a high speed. It was a pretty good race, Rainbow and Raze giving each other a tight competition.

“I’m ahead of you, better be ready to lose!” Rainbow Dash said while looking at Raze from the front. Raze looking at the situation, he try to fly as fast as he can. He flapped his wing twice as strong. Slowly, he nearly reaches Rainbow Dash, but still unable to catch up with her. He then increases the speed to flap his wing and increase the strength of the flaps. Suddenly, he was going too fast. He starts to emit a sparks around him. Rainbow Dash looked behind, her eyes were widened; she didn’t believe what she saw. After a few seconds, Raze committed a Sonic Rainboom, causing Rainbow Dash to fling aside. Raze being so fast and he reached the finish line. As he stop, he celebrates, “Let’s go I win!”

The excitement didn’t last long as he saw Rainbow Dash landed in a pond. Twilight and Raze that saw her immediately get to the scene. Rainbow was walking to get out of the pond, Raze lend a hoof to help her. But Rainbow Dash replied by pushed his hoof away in anger.

“What’s wrong with you?!” Raze asked.

“I don’t need your help! You think you pulled a Sonic Rainboom will make me impressed?!” Rainbow Dash stared Raze in anger.

Raze were shocked by Rainbow Dash refusal. “B-but why…?”

Rainbow Dash didn’t respond, she shake her body, drying herself up and responded, “You cheated with Sonic Rainboom! I didn’t pull that in any races I participated! And you used it against me to win, cheater!”

“It was accidental! I didn’t mean to-”

Rainbow Dash didn’t want to listen. She flies and took off, leaving Raze in anger.

Raze dropped a tear. He stared the grass for a minute before Twilight came by and told him to not worry.

Rainbow Dash that watching the scene suddenly felt guilty. She should listen first but she chose to go away. She was angry because Raze was able to pull a Sonic Rainboom. Thenthe whole room turn into darkness and a voice of hers suddenly came out echoing with a mixed demonic voice,

“Cheater little loser.”

That makes Rainbow Dash to have a chill on her spine, “WHAT THE HAY WAS THAT?!”

From far away, she saw Raze, sitting in the darkness. She tries to reach him but she was stopped when she sees three copies of her with different kind standing, surrounding Raze. Three of them have the same cutie mark as her but the thunder that resembles a rainbow turned to be black. The first one, a unicorn yelled, “EVEN WITH MAGIC, YOU’RE A SORE LOSER THAT LOVE TO CHEAT!”

The Earth version continued, “BEING AN EARTH PONY EVEN DON’T SUITS YOU! YOU WILL TRY TO USE A POTION OR ARTIFACT TO MAKE YOURSELF MORE POWERFUL!”

The last one, the Pegasus version sent the last, the harshest one, “EVEN BEING ALICORN DON’T SUITS YOU! YOU’RE JUST…”

Three of them shouted in unison, “SORE LOSER THAT NEVER DESERVE TO BE A PRINCE!”

Rainbow Dash saw something on his cutie mark. Raze’s cutie mark that resembles a phoenix with light that getting darker. The real Rainbow Dash was shocked and shouted, “Hey, don’t believe that! They’re-”

Suddenly a shadow silhouette shows up in front of her. That makes her to silence and scared. The shadow stared in hatred. Suddenly, Rainbow Dash falls into a void, staring into the silhouette that slowly getting far away. She was clueless and feel scared.

Pinkie’s POV

She was watching Raze making a bake with her other copies. It was all going well until the baking session. Raze kicked out from the store. But theres another twist, Twilight also kicked him out from the castle. Slowly, everything that surrounds them fades into darkness. Raze took a sit while looking at the void floor. Suddenly, a cake appears. It’s says happy birthday to Raze. Pinkie was happy to see the situation. But it escalated quickly when the other version of her stomped into the cake, making real her to shock. Her other version has a balloon inflated cutie mark. Raze stared her in confusion, “Why?”

When she talks, a demonic voice mixed with her voice, “No cake is deserved for someone like you. The only sweet thing you deserve death.”

Then the voice duplicated into for circling him while repeating the same word,

“The only sweet thing you deserve is death.”

“The only sweet thing you deserve is death.”

The only thing you deserve is death.”

Pinkie who sees that immediately shouted, “HEY, LEAVE HIM ALONE!”

But they didn’t respond, neither do Raze. It’s like her voice was being blocked by the other side. Raze covered his head while burst a tears. “Please, I know it’s my fault…”

Pinkie seeing that immediately starts crying. She’s trying her best to shout. When she tries to move, it’s all like her legs were glued to the floor. Suddenly, she fell into a void. She screams in fear, totally shocked by the sudden fall.

Sunset’s POV

Sunset just watch her other self that just sits in the hospital waiting for her turn. Nothing was unusual. She was reading a book about magic while having her back bandaged. Suddenly all the moment were changed to Raze and Twilight walking to Sweet Apple Acres. With that, something catches Sunset eyes; Raze cutie mark that resembles a sad phoenix that is totally in black. She stared at it for a long time and thought, ‘Why that cutie mark seems wrong?’

She then chose to ignore it and followed Twilight and Raze that walking through, slowly walking to the apple farm. She then heard Raze’s thought,

“Am I deserved to change? I…I believe I can.”

Sunset just listened to Raze thought for a few second until suddenly everything around her turn into darkness. Twilight was gone, leaving only Raze and her in the darkness. Raze didn’t saw that happened around him, like he was busy with his own mind. She stands there watching Raze walking away from her. Then a copy of her came from side rammed Raze making Raze to roll. Sunset was shocked, she tries to go near Raze but her leg was stuck in to the ground. She tries to scream, but she was unable to.

“That’s what you get for hitting me! But that’s not the end!” fake Sunset continued. She lifted Raze by his throat. Raze struggle as much as he can.

“How it felt to struggle?” Sunset says mixed with devil voice and laugh.

“You don’t deserve anything, Raze. YOU NEARLY KILLED ME!” she screams in anger. Slowly, her face start to grow a paper cut on her face. Her back also started to bruise. Slowly, her body starts to rot. The fake Sunset stared real Sunset.

“He did this to you. He wanted you dead. Do you think he deserve a place in this world? Do you think he is forgivable? Look at what he did to you. LOOK WHAT HE DID TO YOU!” The fake Sunset screamed towards the real one. Real Sunset was shocked as the fake one stared her. This is the first time ever she saw the most disgusting appearance she ever seen. She tries to reply, but she won’t able to do any talking. Suddenly, the fake Sunset tightens the grip, making Raze to feel pain. Sunset panicked. She tries to unstuck herself but it won’t work. Unfortunately, the fake one formed a magical sword and stabbed Raze. She repeated while laughing all the way she can. Raze however, he didn’t die. Every stab he was given, he screamed in pain. Sunset eyes widened. Her condition getting even worst as she sees Raze dropped so many bloods but didn’t die. The fake Sunset lifted it and aimed to Raze’s eyes. Real Sunset jaw was opened. The fake Sunset stab through his eyes, making Raze to screams in the loudest scream that would make any pony spine to have chill. However who watched it will get sick, fake Sunset didn’t pull out the sword, she twist the sword in his eyes, causing more pain on him. Still, Raze didn’t die. Real Sunset that watching felt very sick as she watching the horrors occur. She sits in disbelief, feeling that she might puke soon. Suddenly, both Raze and fake Sunset were gone in just a blink of an eye, leaving her alone in the darkness. She formed into a ball and start crying as she traumatized by the scene that she just watch. Out of the blues, she fell into a void.

Twilight’s POV

She kept walking endlessly until…a slide-like memory plays in front of her. It shows how happy was Raze that Twilight trying to help him. All the sweet moments that was playing slowly turning horrible. From showing how frustrated Twilight with Raze’s failed attempts to showing everything that she never did. A few slide shows that Raze’s turned into stone, decapitated, dismembered, tortured or worse…died.”

She was silenced with the slide previews.

‘Oh sweet Celestia, this is the worst possible thing that ever happened.’ She slowly walks back and accidentally bumped onto someone. When she turned around, she was startled as Fluttershy was next to Princess Luna.

“Thanks, Celestia, It’s you Luna. I-I…this is unbelievable! What is this place?! Where is this?!”

Fluttershy replied, “You’re in a dream, Twilight. I was in the middle of a scary scene when Luna came by and saved me.”

Luna nodded and looking at Twilight, “What happened here? Why there’s a black bubble covering the whole castle?”

“Black bubble?” Twilight asked.

A few minutes after the shadow inside Raze strikes, Luna saw from Canterlot, a black force emitted causing her to look in confusion. She decided to use her magic to run into dreams. As she entered the dream realm, she immediately examine from doors to doors until there’s a tulpa standing in front of a black door in confusion. Luna gets near her and asked what happened. The tulpa replied by explaining about the door that won’t open even with force. Luna decided that she would pass through the door. She asked the tulpa to stay away from the door and manage the other nightmares. The tulpa just agreed and told Luna to be careful. Luna entered the door just to see Fluttershy were facing one of the most disgusting no pony could ever see. It was showing that Raze was being tortured alive by a bunch of animals in the most horrible ways possible. Luna immediately put an end to the nightmare. Fluttershy was startled and relieved as she saw Luna on her side. Fluttershy was felt very grateful for the help with the darkness. Luna asks why she had this diabolical, devil dream. That makes Fluttershy’s eyes to widen.

“…and that’s how we found out that everything here is just a dream.” said Fluttershy calmly.

“So, we all are trapped in a dream?” Twilight ask in shock. Both Fluttershy and Luna just nodded.

“What are we waiting for?! Let’s wake up!” Twilight said in hurry.

“I can’t wake you up just like that. Something prevents all of you from waking up. We have to get rid of that first.” Luna explained.

Twilight looked around in the darkness, “What is that thing you called, something?”

Luna pointed something above them. When Twilight looks up, she was flabbergasted. Pulsating orbs appear above them. In fact, there’s two of it.

“WHAT IS THAT?!” Twilight ask in fear.

“It’s seems that is a dark magic that put you asleep. This magic usually last until the caster of it dies.” Luna said calmly.

“DOES THAT MEAN WE WILL BE TRAPPED HERE FOREVER?!” Twilight shout in fear.

“Yes, unless we destroy that orb.” said Luna again.

“That’s good, so what are we waiting for?” Twilight was excited; she’s excited to get out of the realm as soon as she can.

“That is going to be a problem.” said Luna in a nervous face.

After a few hours of planning they get into their position.

“Ready?” Twilight asked.

“Ready!” said Luna and Fluttershy in unison.

“Fluttershy, fly towards it!” Twilight ordered.

Fluttershy immediately fly towards the orb. When they got close, the orb start to emit a spark, getting ready to attack. Both the orb opened their shell, revealing a charging laser. As it opened, Twilight shouted, “LUNA, NOW!”

Princess Luna immediately blast two magic at once. The magic reached the core of the orb, causing it to explode. The explosion was so bright that it destroys the darkness. Slowly, it gets brighter and brighter….

Twilight and Fluttershy wake up in unison while both mares gasping for air. They look onto each other, and then both of them look onto their friends that still lie on the ground sleeping.
“Step aside. I will use my magic to wake them up whilst destroying the same orbs.” said Twilight to Fluttershy. As Fluttershy steps aside, Twilight casts a magic that connects the others that still sleeping. Slowly, she focusing and start sweating. After a few minutes, the mares wake up and each of them gasping for air. Twilight felt so exhausted that she nearly passed out.

“Twilight, are you alright? It seems you used your magic too much.” said Fluttershy in worries.

“Don’t worry, *gasp* I’m okay.” said Twilight as she gasping for air like she just nearly drowned.

“Where…where is this?” ask Applejack much to her confusion. “This is not another illusion aren’t they?”

Twilight replied, “No, it’s not.”

They sighed in relief. “You DON’T want to know what I experienced,” said Applejack while staring in fear.

“Uhh, sorry, but I don’t think it’s not just YOU who experience it,” said Rainbow Dash to her annoyance.

“That was a total nightmare! What kind of illusion is that?!” Pinkie was very scared.

“Yes darling, it’s very scary! Mine is about Raze dirty hood getting it smell all over the place!” said Rarity with a fearful face.

The other looked at her with annoyed face, Rainbow Dash replied, “Seriously?”

Suddenly, they realize there are one more mares they didn’t hear. They all looked at Sunset that curling up like a ball. She still crying and traumatized even though it already ends. The other just looks her in confusion. Twilight try to comfort Sunset. Suddenly Sunset screamed, “DON’T GET CLOSE TO ME YOU DEMON! STOP TORTURE ME WITH THAT ILLUSION OF YOURS!”

That startled the others. Twilight get closer and touched her by the shoulder. She scream in hysteria, didn’t act long, Twilight immediately hug her and give her a comforting word, “Sunset, Sunset, it’s me Sunset. Shh…it’s okay. You can stop screaming. Cry all the way you want. Don’t worry, there’s no demon in here. It’s just us.”

Slowly Sunset stop panicking, instead, she hugged back. She hugs as tight as she can. She burst a huge amount of tears. The others watching the scene was shocked. They never seen Sunset cried so much like that. What did they know, she is pretty tough mare; Sunset was known to be tough in desperate moments even it’s include a death of a loved one. But these scenes just show how the nightmare traumatized her so much.

Twilight stop hugging Sunset and asked them, “Alright, before we find Raze, how about you girls talk to me what you saw in your dreams?”

The mares stared each other.

Everyone expressed what they saw in their dream. They describe it in a great detail. Some were giving chill and the other just scary. But when it comes to Sunset, everyone’s eye widened. The description was so brutal and making one of them to watch in disbelief.

“…and that’s why I’ve been screaming like I see a demon.” said Sunset while giving another sniff.
“T-That…that was brutal. You were sayin’ that your other version tortured Raze over and over without feeling guilty?” ask Applejack in fear.

Sunset just give a weak nod. Suddenly, a strong shockwave came out of the castle. The mares immediately head outside. When they’re outside, they saw Starlight and Spike, trying to fight against a strong force that flying in front of them. They try getting closer to get a good sight. When they have the opportunity to look, they were shock that Raze was levitating with his wing wide open and his eyes were all white and his body is all black. His mouth is unable to be seen.

“Raze, you should stop! I’m sorry that I didn’t care about your feelings!” said Twilight in worries.

“Dude, this is not going to solve anything! Stop this massacre, Raze!”

“SILENCE!” the voice echo through PonyVille until it reaches Canterlot, causing Celestia to wake up from her sleep.

“Sweet me, what was that?” Celestia walk to the balcony where Princess Luna also witnessing a large typhoon struck on PonyVille.

“WHAT ON EQUESTRIA WAS THAT?!” Celestia look towards PonyVille in disbelief.

“Sister, Raze is wreaking havoc! We have to go to thy location to assist with the battle!” Luna suggested.

“You’re right. Raze has gone too far this time.” Celestia replied to Luna. Both alicorn took off and flying towards PonyVille in a fast speed.

Meanwhile, Raze is levitating while facing the Main 7, “Raze is no more. There no hope that left. There’s only despair!”

“You’re not Raze, who are you?!” Twilight shout in anger.

The shadow Raze replied, “I’m Despair, The bringer of death and eternal sadness. I destroy the hope of everycreature including…YOU!”

Despair blast a magic towards Twilight, she try to block it but the magic was strong it pierce through the magic causing her and her friends to fling.

“Girls, are you alright?! *cough*” Twilight shouted in worries.

“*cough* we’re fine, Twilight! Don’t mind us! For now, find a way to stop that monster!” Applejack replied while trying to get back on.

“He’s not a monster! He just…” Twilight paused and frowned, “lose his hope on us. That must be why he tried to kill himself.”

The other stood in silence. Twilight was right, if they believe that he can change, Raze wouldn’t try to suicide. If they gave Raze another chance, he wouldn’t lose his hope. If they…

“We got to undo what we have done,” said Sunset in determination.

“B-but how?!” said Rainbow Dash, clueless.

Suddenly, another strike was sent towards Twilight. She didn’t able to react.

“TWILIGHT!!!!!!!!” said the mares in unison.

Fortunately, a yellow aura blocked the magic. Everyone look towards the sky, Celestia and Luna arrived just in time.

“Raze, that’s enough! We’ve given you a chance and you wasted it!” said Celestia in anger.

“*chuckles* Raze is no more, Celestia. It’s just Despair!” said Raze.

Celestia blasted a magic on him. But it deflected easily. Celestia and Raze started to have a magic duel. Celestia shouted towards Luna, “Luna, evacuate the others! I will be here buying the time!”

So many amount of magic flying around them as the duel goes on. Twilight can’t think of any good plan. Then she got ideas and looked towards Rainbow Dash.

“Rainbow Dash!” she called her.

Celestia blasted a few magic towards Despair. Despair either deflect or dodge it. Both of them were sending each other an attack. Unfortunately, Celestia took a wrong step, because Despair sent an attack directly to the location she was about to step. That causes Celestia to receive damage and rolled across Despair. Despair gets closer to her, “*chuckles* I guess this is a check” he loaded a magic to blast it on Celestia and continued, “…mate.”

Celestia closed her eyes, letting the fate to do the job. Suddenly a miracle happened. Rainbow Dash was flying fast, ramming into Despair, but she passes through and not pushing Despair, instead, she pushed Raze out from Despair.

“What the-?!” said Despair in shock.

“I got him, Twi!” Rainbow Dash shouted in excitement.

“Good job, Rainbow! I know he wouldn’t able to move without a vessel!” said Twilight with happiness. Rainbow Dash came toward Twilight and rested Raze next to them. It seems that Raze passed out already but there’s no sign of stab coming from his chest.

“How can you…what?!” Despair was shocked.

“Hah, as a magical being I know that something like you can’t live without a vessel! Once Raze was picked up, you will be weak!”

Slowly, the dark magical being starts to weakened.

“Nonononono…there is no way…I won’t give it away easily!” said the dark being in anger.

“What you’re going to do now?” Twilight looked towards it with a mocking smile.

“I shall take her as my vessel then.” Despair lifted up Celestia with his magic and slowly entering her body.

The Main 7 watch the scene occurred. They didn’t think that the dark being can search for another host. Celestia scream in pain as she felt a dark magic is taking over her body.

“Celestia, Don’t dare you-!” Twilight didn’t able to finish her sentences. The magical being had successfully taken over Celestia’s body. Celestia body shines brightly, blinding everyone around them. As the flash stops, they were shocked by Celestia’s appearance. She looks like Daybreaker but her entire body is black and her mane is a purple flame.

“Not a bad vessel I see. She must have enough power…to absorb all the hope and spread the despair!” she laughs demonically.

The Main 7 was clueless. They thought everything was ended but now, they’re facing even riskier enemy, Shadowbreaker. She is entirely an alicorn with a thousand of powers in her hand.

“Thanks a bunch for taking that guy. It wasn’t a bad choice after all,” said Shadow in sarcastic voice.

They all stood in silence. In Twilight plans, she wouldn’t expect that the dark being was able to take over someponies body. Since it’s using the Princess of Sun’s body, the risk of being killed is high.

“Twilight, what we’re going to do now?” whisper Applejack besides Twilight.

“I…I don’t know…” Twilight was trembling in fear. The Main 7 is officially dead. They’re facing the Queen of Sun. Suddenly, Raze wake up, “Ugh…w-what happened?”

“Raze, thanks goodness! Do you have any idea to take out that ginormous dark being?” said Pinkie.

“What being you are talking abou-” he saw an dark alicorn being with a shadowflame mane hovering in front of them, “Oh…my…Celestia. Is that because of me?”

Pinkie sillily replied, “Well, yeah. You also put us in the most hell-mfmfmfmf”

Twilight zipped Pinkie’s mouth.

“Raze, I’m sorry for not taking your feeling seriously. I should know better to help you with that condition.” said Twilight in a sad voice tone.

Raze smiled, “Thanks, Twilight. But first thing first…WATCH OUT, IT’S FIREBALL!”

The Main 7 turned around, a giant shadowflame ball flying towards them at a high speed. They didn’t have time to react but Raze casted a shield magic to prevent the impact. As impact were made, a huge amount of dust emitted.

“*cough* Everypony alright?” Raze ask with concern.

“Yeah, we’re okay. How did you cast a magic that fast?” ask Twilight with confusion.

“Before I answer your question, where is Starlight and Spike?!” Raze ask in worries.

Applejack replied, “I non’ know, I heard they’re helping Princess Luna in evacuating the whole town.”

Raze replied in worries, “Are you sure? Cuz’ I don’t think the whole town isn’t evacuation.” He pointed towards in front of them. All the ponies that live in the town walk emotionlessly. In the crowd, Princess Luna, Starlight and Spike all of them sitting in circle while staring the grass.

“What the?!” said Applejack, shocked looking at the three ponies that look hopeless.

“*Laugh* Do you think I will let the entire town evacuated just like that? Of course not! If there’s no pony around, how I can feed my despair? *laugh*”

“Bring Princess Luna back!” Twilight scream in anger.

“Sure, if you can beat me! *laugh*” said the creature boastfully.

The Main 7 starts to charge towards the dark being, leaving Raze behind. Raze however, he just stared the mares fighting the demon of his. He just felt helpless and useless.

“I…I caused all of this…” said Raze. He stands up. He looked on the on the pathway, “I’m…I’m a curse.”

He looks towards The Main 7 that is fighting against his inner demon that has taken over Celestia’s body. In a slow motion, he witnesses how his friends are fighting his demon instead of him. He cried and muttered, “It’s my entire fault…If I know I wouldn’t be appreciated like this, I wouldn’t even want to live…”

When he cried, a soft calming voice whispered in his ears, “I always love you, no matter what you are.”

That brings a light of hope to his heart. He stopped crying and stared towards the beast that attacking the mares.

“Alright, it’s enough playing around. It’s time to deal with this piece of-”

Before he could finish, Twilight already thrown perfectly towards Raze causing both of them to collide with each other. Raze rolled and jump back into his position. He looked towards Twilight, “Twilight, are you okay?”

Twilight replied with a blood coming from her nostrils, “Y-yes, I’m okay. Just a little bit *cough* hurt.”

Raze looked towards the demon with anger, “Alright, that’s enough.”

Raze immediately run towards the demon in full speed. During that run, a few mares can be seen hurt. Rarity knocked out with bruises on her left side, Fluttershy that was hurt badly with a few bruises and Pinkie that has her left eye to have a bruise. They groan in pain making Raze to be more determined to stop the monster. The only mares that were still standing are Applejack and Rainbow Dash, both mares still trying to fend Despair. Rainbow Dash dodged a few magic blasts while Applejack bucked a few apples towards it. The apple did no damage nor distraction to the dark being.

Then the dark being ring a roar, causing Applejack and Rainbow Dash to stop. The roar is actually no ordinary roar; it’s a spell with the ability to make the victim drop down into a dilemma making them occupied.

‘Is there any point trying to hit this creature?’ Rainbow Dash thought.

‘How can I stop it with just an apple?’ said Applejack’s thought.

Both they were occupied by the spell; unaware they let themselves into a very huge danger. The dark being sees the opportunity, immediately shoot a dark magic to hit both mares.

Twilight from far away yelled, “APPLEJACK! RAINBOW DASH!”

When both mares snapped out of it, they realize, they didn’t have time to dodge that attack. Both mares closed their eyes, waiting for the magic to hit them. Suddenly, a shadow just grabbed both mares from the attack in a fast speed. That makes Twilight to shock. When the shadow landed, it was Raze. He has Applejack and Rainbow Dash by his side in a magic bubble. Raze stared to the dark being that took over Celestia, “Enough.”

Despair just laughs evilly, “You think you can beat me?! Of course no! After all I’m your demon!”

“Yes, that’s mean I know your weakness.” said Raze confidently.

“Try it then, I know you can’t.” said Despair boastfully.

Raze charged his magic and start flying, “Alright…you ask for it.”

Raze move at the fastest rate that everyone think that he is teleporting. That sight of ability makes the three mares to shock. Raze keep going with the speed making Despair to annoyed, “Stop teleporting around you coward! Face me like a colt!”

Raze appear in front of it, “Alright then,”

A single kick caused Despair to fly off, cutting of the thunderstorm. Despair rolled on the ground, causing Celestia to fly off it.

“Curse you! This is why I don’t like you as a colt! This is why you failed in romance!”

I’m literally you, what you mean me?” ask Raze whilst flying, looking at the resemblance of a Shadow Pony but with Raze appearance.

“Well I’m not interested in love! Enough chatter, face me like a gentlecolt!” said Despair.

“Raze smirked, “Sure,” then he immediately teleports in front of Despair with his horn charger up. They’re now face to face, staring into each other eyes. A silence broke out between them, living only wind to whistle. Meanwhile, the other mares that fainted woke up. They look around in confusion before having their eyes on Raze that facing the demon.

“Twilight…what happened?” Sunset ask in confusion.

“Raze saved us from that creature and he’s facing it by himself. *cough*” said Rainbow Dash on behalf Twilight whilst struggling with her pain.

The mares can’t do anything as they were heavily damaged.

Back into the silence, Raze started to fly and blast various magic in just a short amount of time. That makes the mares shocked.

“Is he…? DID HE CAST MULTIPLE SPELLS IN A FEW SECONDS?!” said Twilight in disbelief.

Starlight with Spike besides her came by, “Ugh…what happened?” said Starlight, still dizzy after a spell was casted on her. As she looks towards the battle, her eyes widened, “Did he cast multiple spells in a few seconds?”

Twilight just nodded and replied, “Crystal spell, basic spell, guards spell and…is that one of StarSwirl spell?”

“Eeeyup.” Said Starlight mimicking some red stallion she knows.

Back in the battle scene, Raze and Despair gave each other a magic on magic and hooves to hooves battle. The fight was so intense that Despair had to stop his spell to recover himself. He teleports in repeat circling Raze in a far distance.

“*laugh* don’t think you can stop me! I’m the fastest teleporter in the Equestria!” said Despair, overlooking Raze.

Despite the ability of Despair to teleport in a short amount of times, that didn’t make Raze to tremble in fear. Raze closed his eyes, listening to every zaps that occurred. He listened and focused, paying attention to the sound. When Despair made another teleports, he blasts a magic towards an empty air. Then just right in time, Despair teleported just in front of the magic and blasted.

“WHAT?!” shout Twilight and Starlight in unison.

Raze smirk mockingly towards Despair, “You like that?”

Despair stands up and charge towards him, “RAAAAAAAAGRHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!”

It blasted multiple magic that powerful enough that even Celestia maybe weren’t able to beat. Raze create a shield that blocked the incoming magic. All the magic seems strong enough to destroy the barrier but Raze seems to not break a sweat. He still smiles mockingly towards his inner demon.

“I don’t think it’s an ordinary magic. How did he could handle such a strong magic like that?” Twilight ask with concern.

“ENOUGH!” Despair unleash a total waves around it. Raze didn’t feel anything but when he sees the mares, he realize, their fur color starts to get dimmer and they look like they’re sad.

Raze looks towards Despair, “What have you done, Despair?”

His inner demon just smiled mockingly, “You know I’m made out of despair and suffers, don’t you?”

Raze ran towards the mares in worries. He grabbed Twilight by the shoulder, “Twilight, can you hear me?!”

Twilight sadly replied, “If I do, does it matter?”

He ran towards Rainbow Dash because he believes she is one of the mares that have the most confidence of all, “Rainbow Dash, can you hear me? I know you believe you can be the best record breaker!”

“Record breaker? Pfft, who even want to see me do that?” said Rainbow, lacking confidence. Raze look towards Despair, he realize, it started to grow stronger.

“I don’t just steal your friend’s confidence; I stole everypony in town, INCLUDING YOUR BELOVED PRINCESSES!”

Raze look towards Princess Luna and Princess Celestia. Both alicorn were affected by the spell too. He started to lose hope, he look towards the ground, “Is…is this the end…?”

“Of course, pal! After all, you’re the one who caused this!” Despair laugh evilly. Raze just stared the ground, full of guilt. If he didn’t try to suicide, he wouldn’t release a dangerous creature to the world.

‘I guess…this is the end.’ He thought. Silence occurred, leaving a few gust of whistling wind covering the background noises.

Suddenly, a voice came from the back encouraging Raze, “Don’t matter what you are, you’re strong Raze.”

He look on the back, he saw Twilight is gaining a little conscious and smiled towards him. He smiled back. Suddenly, he felt something he never felt before; a confidence of faith. He can felt everyone around him is sad and felt guilt. He lit his horn and casted a magic towards the Main 7, causing them to snap out of the spell.

“W-What I’m thinking? I can be a record breaker! I’m Rainbow Dash!” Rainbow Dash said it confidently. All the mares suddenly gain their consciousness and look around and laid their eyes on Raze. Raze is looking towards them, giving them a warm smile.

“Thanks, Raze.” said Twilight while touching Raze on his shoulder.

Raze looked at the mares and asked, “Do you believe in me?”

They didn’t answer. It’s just a silence. Raze stared the floor, “*sigh* It’s…it’s okay. But I got a way to banish it. But first does at least one of you believe in me?”

Twilight step up and touched Raze’s shoulder, “I do, Raze.”

Raze gave her a warm smile and replied, “Thanks.”

“…Me too…at least for now…” said Rainbow Dash.

“I’m going to be honest, ah’ do for this once.” said Applejack.

“Me too…” said Rarity.

“Me too, if you…don’t mind.” said Fluttershy.

Sunset, the only one who didn’t do anything gave up, “Me too. For this time only, you understand?”

Raze smiled, suddenly, a glows emitted around him, “Thanks for believing in me, even though you’re not 100% sure.”

The mares suddenly felt they filled with hope and determination.

“Why do I feel like…I’m very happy?” ask Rainbow Dash.

“That’s my ability I guess. I can feel the determination and hope coming from you girls.” Explain Raze even though he doesn’t know what he was saying.

“Oh yeah…how do we stop it from stealing ponies emotion then?” ask Rainbow Dash in anger.

Raze look towards Despair that growing stronger, as he stared on it, there is only one possibility.

“I know how.” said Raze calmly but with a sad tone.

“What you’re going to do, Raze?” ask Twilight with concern on her face.

You know that I can give a positive emotion towards everypony’s right?” ask Raze.

They nodded still confused.

Raze asked, “If I don’t recover my memory, please…don’t try it.”

He immediately trapped the mares in a bubble.

“RAZE WHAT DOES THIS ALL ABOUT?!” Twilight ask in worries.

Raze didn’t answer, he loaded a up a huge amount of magic to the maximum. He tries to reach a higher point.

“Raze, what you think you’re doing?!” Rainbow Dash shouts in worries ad anger.

After enough amount of magic, Raze starts to levitate and his eyes are pure white.

“Twilight, what Raze is doing now?!” ask Sunset towards Twilight.

“I don’t know!” Twilight also confused.

Raze give them a sad smile, “I’m sorry for being a total trouble. Now, I have to repay and deal with it.” He dropped a tear. He turned around facing the growing monster, “HEY!”

The demon looks towards Raze, “What you want now? You already losing!” it laugh evilly.

“You think I’ll lose?” Raze chuckled, “For this whole time, I believe there’s no friendship or faith in this world. Once I met Twilight, I realize,” he looked towards Twilight that watching him with worries, “Friendship is everything. But after all I did I bet there’s no hope in me left.” He looked back. “Even though I don’t have any, I don’t need hope from pony around me.”

Despair looked at him with confused expression, “Then how you’re going to beat me, idiot?”

“How do I? It’s simple. The opposite of Despair is determination,” he looked towards Twilight and her friends, “But this amount of determination is not enough. Then, I found out that there’s one way to beat you,” he look back and charged his horn as much as he can.

“*chuckles* what are you doing? Trying to blast me with hope and determination?”

Raze grinned, “Yes I am. But I’m not the one who gonna blast you with it,” suddenly, his horn shine brightly, everyone eyes suddenly looked towards Raze including the princesses and The Main 7. They all felt warm, cozy and comfortable by its shine.

Despair eyes widened, “WHAT IS THIS?!”

Raze smiled, “If I can’t beat you with mine, I will share everything that left inside mine to the whole town. Making the despair you shared, gone.”

Slowly, Raze’s body started to turn into a stone.

“RAZE WHAT YOU ARE DOING?!” scream Twilight in fear.

“STOP IT! DON’T SACRIFICE YOURSELF!” Rainbow Dash shouted.

Raze closed his eyes and replied without turning on them, “I can’t beat him with one hope, if I banish all the despair and sadness and replace it with hope and happiness, we’ll be able to beat it. So, thanks…”

Slowly the town releasing a strong happiness magic, causing Despair to quickly evaporate,

“NONONONONOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

Despair evaporates in the air, leaving only Raze’s horn shining through the town. The shine quickly turns bright, flashing everyone’s eyes to irritate. After the flash ended, everyone blinked their eyes in confusion.

“W-what just happened…?” said a cyan pony, named Lyra.

Everyone was looking around in confusion. Celestia and Luna who also confused, immediately goes towards The Main 7.

“What just happened?” Luna asked.

The Main 7 just stood in silence. They look towards Twilight that is crying while hugging someone or something. Celestia and Luna get closer, when Twilight released the hug and look down, both princesses were shocked. It was Raze, is now a statue with his wing raised while pointing his horn to the sky. He sacrificed himself to destroy the dark being. He beat it, but with a harsh price.

Both princesses closed their eyes; both of them can’t deny it. Raze did save them from the creature, but he didn’t save himself from self- petrification. Suddenly, Twilight casted a reverse petrification magic on the statue. She tried it again and again. Even though she starts to get exhausted, she kept on trying to free Raze from the statue.

Celestia get closer, “Twilight, please stop. We can’t do anything.”

“No, I want to free him at all cost.” said Twilight plainly.

“Sugarcube, I know it’s hard for you but-”

“HE IS MY PUPIL, APPLEJACK! I’M THE ONE WHO TAKE HIM AS A STUDENT! I’M RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS!” Twilight cries can be heard by the whole town.

“Twilight, he’s petrified! I know you are on a break out after he saved us but please, at least recover yourself. You’re exhausted.” said Celestia with concern on Twilight.

Twilight just looked towards the statue in silence. That makes the others to worry.

“C-can you guys leave me for a while?” Twilight ask in a sad tone.

Seeing the state that Twilight is in, they just agreed and leave her alone with the statue of Raze. They all walk away, leaving the statue and Twilight alone. Twilight stared the statue for a while. She remembered what Raze said before sacrificing himself.

‘If I don’t recover my memory…please don’t try it.’

Twilight think to the best and widened her eyes.

“I still can save Raze! I can!” She excitedly go to the castle of friendship, can’t wait to realease Raze from the statue.

“Twilight, are you sure you want to do this?” Celestia ask with a concern in her face.

“Yes, I believe that this is just a simple spell that can be breached. The last word he gave literally shows that he can be unpetrified.” Twilight explain confidently. She continued, “If both of us gather our magic, I believe that he can be released from there!”

“But, Twilight-”

“A, a, ah,” Twilight raise her hooves, “Trust me, Celestia, I believe that it will work.”

Celestia just sighed in defeat, “Alright, Twilight.”

Twilight and Celestia stand from different direction, Twilight looked towards Celestia, “Ready?”

Celestia replied, “Ready.”

Both alicorn blast a magic that powerful enough to reverse the petrification magic. As it came to contact, it absorb the magic. Celestia and Twilight stopped casting. Both gasping for air, Twilight suddenly asked, “D…did it work?”

Silence occurred. Suddenly, the statue glows and released a strong wave sending both mares knocked to the back. Twilight stand up while feeling dizzy, “Okay, maybe it needs three princess…”

Same result once again. It sent the three alicorn even further. Twilight added more, “M-maybe it needs three?”

It took a while to convince Cadance to help, she didn’t want to but seeing that her sister-in-law need a help, she had no other choice. When they did the same spell, it result is even worse, sending each mares, causing a shockwaves that might be able to destroy the entire castle.

“I-I think it need another-”

“Twilight, there’s no use. We can’t continue this. This kind of magic is beyond our imagination. I didn’t even believe that Raze was able to pull such a strong magic on himself.”

I agree with my sister. His magic is strong enough to counter our spell Twilight. Perhaps, you should find another solution.”

Twilight frowned, but still determined, “Alright, I will go see Rainbow Dash.”

Both royal sister look onto each other in worries about Twilight.

“Woah, woah, woah, hold on a sec, you want me to perform a Sonic Rainboom on him?! Are you crazy?!” Rainbow Dash shouted in disbelief.

“I believe that your Rainboom can create a strong wave that could break the statue. Maybe he just covered himself with a pretty strong rock that was enchanted.”

Rainbow Dash just shook her head, “alright, Twilight. Don’t blame me if he broke into pieces.”

A few second later, Rainbow Dash was in her position. She shouted, “Ready?!”

“Ready!” Twilight shout in reply from inside a trench.

Rainbow Dash fly upwards as high as she can. As she reach the maximum height, she dashed down, slwoly creating a sonic Rainboom.

“RAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

A rainbow explosion occurred. Twilight came out of a trench she made. She inspected the statue, Rainbow Dash was lying next to him, still dizzy from the impact she just caused. Twilight and Rainbow Dash was shocked. The statue still has no kind of crack or scratch.

“WHAT IS THIS THING?!” shout Rainbow Dash in disbelief.

It starts to turn dusk; Twilight was walking in exhaustion while pulling Raze statue to its place back. Twilight had tried everything, from asking Applejack to buck the statue which ends up making Applejack forelegs and hooves to hurt, to making the statue fall from a high place. She placed Raze exactly on the place she gets him. She stared the statue in sadness.

“Raze, I don’t know if you can hear this, but…I’m sorry for not trying to listen to what you’re feelings. I shouldn’t ignore that while teaching you about friendship and now…”

Twilight starts to cry. She continued on, “I thought…*sniff* I could save you. B-But *sniff* I can’t.” She hugged the statue while crying out loud, “Raze, if you listening. I hope…I can bring you back. But I think, It`s no use. But if I can wish *sniff*” she hugged the statue tightly and dropped a tear on the statue, “I hope you can come back,” Twilight stop hugging the statue and heading towards the castle of friendship. She turned around, “See you tomorrow, Raze.”

Twilight walks towards the castle of friendship with sadness and sorrow. She felt none other than guilt.

It’s was midnight, Luna already raised the moon and protecting everypony dreams from nightmares. In the midnight, a miracle happened. Raze’s statue start to form a crack and starts shining through the crack. As the statue broke, a flash occurred, nearly strong enough to light up the entire PonyVille.

I'm very sorry for the late post! It's supposed to be early than usual but I didn't have a proper time to put a steady post and I'm very bad at scheduling! Once again I say, enjoy the stories I made! I'm very pretty sorry for this! It's shouldn't be late but I guess I'm a bad time manager. Anyway, the fifth chapter is halfway through! (At least for now). Since I'm such a bad writer myself, I would really appreciate an opinion and criticism as the next chapter might be an improvement! (I mean next next chapter). Ngl, This is the worst time to delay a post, once again I'm so sorry!

Final Chapter:The New Beginning

In PonyVille, it’s just another ordinary day. Many ponies already wake up and doing their own jobs. Everyone was happy except for one mare. In the Castle of Friendship, Twilight was sitting in the kitchen, staring the hay cereal with sorrow eyes. Her eyes can be seen having an eye bag; proving that she didn’t sleep well last night. Spike, who was very worried looking at Twilight in concern, “Twilight, I know you’re sad because Raze sacrificed himself for the whole Equestria, but you can’t just undo everything right?”

Twilight replied in a sad tone, “But I didn’t teach him friendship lesson very well…”

Spike rolled his eyes, “Come on, Twilight. Sometimes you gotta move on.”

“How can I? I let him sacrifice himself without letting us helping him.”

Spike was very concern about her adopted sister; he suddenly gets an idea, “Hey, how about we take a little walk?”

Twilight sighed, “Alright, I guess. Maybe I’ll find a way to release Raze.”

Spike just sighs in worries.

Both Twilight and Spike were walking not far from the castle when Rainbow Dash suddenly appear in front of them in a light speed making both siblings to startled.

“Sweet Celestia, Rainbow Dash! Why did you appear out of nowhere?” said Twilight, annoyed by Rainbow Dash sudden appearance.

“Twilight, you must see this! You won’t believe what happened!” said Rainbow Dash in shock.

“What thing should I see that makes me believe?” said Twilight while look towards Rainbow Dash suspiciously.

“I don’t have time to explain, come on! He was searching for you!” Rainbow Dash immediately pulled Twilight and Spike in a fast pace that their silhouette is still there.

While being pulled by Rainbow Dash, Twilight giving a little thought, ‘He is searching for me? Who is that? Wait does that mean…?”

“Here, look for yourself!” Rainbow Dash put Twilight behind her other friends that stands there. Twilight surpassed her friends and look onto their faces; Applejack’s eyes were widened, Pinkie’s have her jaw dropped, Sunset looking with confusion and Rarity with her poker face.

“What makes all of you so shocked?” Twilight ask in confusion.

They didn’t answer; instead, they pointed towards behind Twilight. When Twilight turned her head around, she was shocked in disbelief.

In front of them, Raze is carrying an earth filly on his back with a Pegasus foal tailing on him. They’re playfully paying in the air while being cheered by a few ponies that were there. After that, Raze end the session and landed gracefully. He dropped the filly carefully and talk, “Do you like that little one? I bet you’re! Now, go back to your family and have a good day, young filly.”

Both foal and filly cheered as they walked together. Raze just looked towards the fillies with a smile on his face. He turned around and saw Twilight and her friends were looking at her. Raze smile turned into a grin.

“Finally, it’s a pleasure to meet you-”

Twilight didn’t let Raze finish as she run towards Raze and give him a big hug. Raze let a slight blush on his face; can’t say either he was embarrassed or shocked. She cried all the way as through as she could see her student again.

“Raze, thanks Celestia you’re safe! *sniff* It’s my entire fault I didn’t teach you properly about friendship! Please, next time, before you do anything crazy like sacrificing yourself, please at least you talk to us before do anything crazy, okay?” said Twilight after releasing the hug but still holding Raze’s shoulders. But Raze make a confused face.

“Do anything crazy? Sacrifice? Pfft…is that a joke?” Raze chuckled, “I just met you, how do I sacrifice myself immediately? Oh, Princess Twilight, you’re such a funny mare!”

That makes Twilight and the other shocked and froze.

“J-Just met me?” Twilight ask with a worried face.

Raze chuckles, “Yeah, in fact I’m here to learn friendship!”

That statement leaves Twilight and her friends shocked. Raze released the hug and met each of Twilight’s friends. First up is Applejack, he gave her a handshake, “Howdy, you must Applejack! Despite a mare, I heard you could harvest half of the Apple Farm, you must be pretty strong! Not just that, I believe you’re the bearer of Honesty am I correct?”

That makes Applejack to fluster and nod slowly. Raze stopped the handshake and looked towards Rarity that stand next to Applejack. Raze smiled, “And you must be Rarity! The fashion fanatic among the ponies in town! Despite your enthusiasm about designs, you also very generous, which make it your element, miss. You deserve more, Miss Rarity.”

Rarity replied, “Oh, uh…thank you?”

Raze passed both mares and looked towards Fluttershy that look a little shy, “And you must be Fluttershy…your treatment towards animals impress me, Miss Fluttershy. Even they’re a predator; you treat them equally like the other animals! Just like your element, don’t you, miss?”

Fluttershy timidly replied, “T-thank you…”

After seeing Fluttershy, Raze looked towards Pinkie Pie, who has her jaw still widely open, leaving parasprites to enter and leaves. Raze closed her jaw and stared her eyes for a long time. That makes the other to confuse. Suddenly, Raze grinned in excitement and start moving quickly around her almost look like he was teleport and defying gravity.

In excitement and happiness Raze speak in a fast pace towards Pinkie, “And the most happiest, excited, extraordinary and greatest party mare around the town, Pinkie Pie! I’m SOOOOOOOOOOOO excited to see you too! Your party plan and joke is one of the most intriguing thing and the best at it place! Of course you are the Element of Laughter! Ooooooh, I’m SOOOOOOOO excited to see you here too!”

Pinkie jaw dropped once again. As Raze turned around, his eyes shine brightly as he met Rainbow Dash.

“Oh…sweet…CELESTIA!!!!!!!!! YOU’RE RAINBOW DASH?! THE FASTEST PONY…IN EQUESTRIA?!?! IT’S A PLEASURE TO MEET ALL OF YOU! YOU DON’T KNOW HOW EXCITED I AM WHEN I HEARD ABOUT ALL OF YOUR RECORDS WITH THE WONDERBOLTS!” said Raze as he start to fly around Rainbow Dash.

Rainbow Dash can felt her ego but keep it low and simply replied, “*cough* Y-yeah…that’s me.”

Raze fly down while looking at them in excitement. As he landed, he speaks excitedly, “Oh my days, it kept getting better! I hope you girls could teach me about friendship!”

Suddenly Raze eyes were locked into a yellow mare with a red and orange mane, he walk closer, and looked towards her that had been hiding the other mares. Sunset seeing that can’t escape as she afraid he might use his magic on her. As Raze were facing her, Raze asked politely, “Ah one of the new members too! I forgot about you. *chuckles* I suggest you must be the bearer of…Empathy. You are the one who easily forgive somepony even though they did something unforgiveable. I respect your work ma’am.”

Raze lend his hoof to greet her, but Sunset didn’t seems to feel comfortable. Raze look onto her eyes, “Oh my…you must be traumatized so bad.”

Raze pulled her close to her, making her to start struggling as she was afraid of Raze. Suddenly, Raze put his horn on Sunset’s horn. His horn shine brightly, almost blind the other that were watching. As it finished, Sunset felt calm and relax, to be more precise, she never felt so calm before. Raze that were standing in front of her didn’t make her scared anymore. She just stunned with her eyes widened while looking towards Raze’s warm smile that would calm anyone that sees. Raze on the other hand, he gave her a warm smile and asked, “Feeling better now, miss?”

Sunset blushed a bit, didn’t listen what Raze just ask.

“Urm, Miss Shimmer? Are you okay now?”

As Sunset snapped out of her daydream, she stuttered while replying, “Oh, uh, y-yeah…I-I’m…uhh…I’m alright.”

Raze replied towards Sunset, “Now that’s good.” Raze once again shocked as he saw what happened to her back, “Oh my- sweet Celestia! How are you walking with that kind of condition, Sunset?” Raze immediately walk towards her back that display a huge black bruise. Raze immediately use a spell that slowly heal the bruise. While healing, Twilight and her other friends come closer to him. Sunset who was being healed, gave a slight blush while looking towards her friends. She gave her friends an eyes code,

He’s the one who want to heal me. I didn’t ask for it.

The other immediately chuckles seeing the scene, making Sunset’s face even redder. During that time, Twilight took the chance to ask Raze a question, “So, do you remember what happened yesterday?”

Raze simply replied while still focusing on his magic, “Nope.”

“Anything at least?” said Twilight again.

“Well, the only thing I remember is that someone called me to come back. I didn’t know the origin of the source but I gotta say, her voice sounded like you,” said Raze calmly whilst healing Sunset in the process.

All of her friends immediately look towards Twilight, who immediately blushed. Sunset made an eye gesture; making fun of Twilight,

‘I guess someone is really trying to release Raze huh?”

That makes Twilight to let out a nervous chuckle and grinned nervously. She continued to avoid eye contact with her friends, “Do you know who are Princess Celestia and Princess Luna?”

“Easy peasy, the Princess of Sun is Princess Celestia and Princess Luna is Princess of Moon. Why ask anyway?” Raze ask in confusion in turn.

“Well…apparently…someone attacked them.”

“Sweet Celestia, is that really? Who is that figure that attacking them? Did you girls know them? Did you manage to beat him? I don’t think they deserve to be spared don’t they?” Raze ask in concern.

That last question left the mares froze.

‘I don’t think they deserve to be spared don’t they?’

That statement turns out to be not normal.

“Well, thanks for asking, Celestia and Luna was alright. We manage to beat that guy but I try to teach him friendship. Unfortunately, I didn’t take my job seriously and he accidentally released a demon but…..he managed to…save us by…sacrificing himself…”

The word sacrifice makes the mares to go into silence. No talks, no giggle, no nothing. It’s just pure silence. Raze replied, “Wow, I guess everyone deserve a second chance am I correct?” said Raze, breaking the silence.

Rainbow Dash replied, “Not really, it depends how they reply on your offer. Example, Chrysalis that-”

“And…done!” said Raze interrupting Rainbow Dash explanation. They all looked towards Sunset’s back. It’s look like there was never a bruise before.

“T-that’s impressive! How did you learn that?” Twilight ask in amazement.

“Well I…! I…don’t remember how.” Raze reply in a sad tone. He added more, “It feels like…I don’t even remember my childhood. The only thing I remember is this hood is a gift from someone special.”

They all look towards Raze in sympathy.

Twilight replied, “Don’t worry, Raze. We will help you recover your memory.”

“I-I don’t think so…I don’t think I can…It felt like…it doesn’t want me to remember it.” Raze replied more.

Suddenly, Twilight remembered what Raze’s says,

‘If I didn’t recover my memory…don’t even try it.’

That last word literally left her into a dilemma. Does she follow what Raze said before and help his rebooted version gaining a new identity or she recovers his memory? That word hung up in the air for a long time.

“TWILIGHT!”

“Huh?” Twilight snapped out of her daydream.

“Twilight, what should we do with Raze?” ask Rainbow Dash again. The other just looked towards Twilight, waiting for an answer.

Twilight replied, I think…I will let him live in the castle for a while. Maybe we could go together? I gotta have a meeting with y’all.”

The other mares smiled and just nodded.

Twilight decided to give Raze a tour around the castle as he lost his memory about it. In the castle, Raze is acting like a foal. He looked around while amazed by his surroundings.

“Oooh, this place is…VERY COOL! The building is look like it was built by the ancient civilization! Its look like it was built by the crystal ponies!”

He looks around like a total foal when the foal found the most interesting toys.

While Raze in the front, distracted by his surrounds, the Main 7 and Spike were in the back, discussing about Raze’s behavior.

“Okay, this is weird, I never this kind of behavior from an alicorn former villian. What the HAY is WRONG with him????” ask Rainbow Dash in whisper towards Twilight.

“You’re right…he acting like a total foal! Before he was acting like a total grown colt! Is he playing with us?” said Twilight in whisper.

“Ah don’t know, Twilight. Somethintelling me that he didn’t lyin.” said Applejack giving her own piece of mind.

“I don’t know, Applejack, darling. It seems like Raze is playing with us.” said Rarity denying Applejack opinion.

“I think he lost his memory.” said Fluttershy, didn’t want to prolong her opinion.

Twilight replied, “*sighed* I think it’s a yes. We don’t know how he lost his memory but I still remember what he said.”

“What he said?” ask Rainbow Dash.

“If I don’t recover my memory…don’t try it.” Twilight repeat the same statement before Raze sacrifice himself during that night.

That statement left the others eyes open wide.

“Wait so he doesn’t want us to recover his memory?” Rainbow Dash asks to confirmation.

“No, he said just don’t try it. He doesn’t even want to remember about it. Should we do it anyway?” Twilight ask to her friends with concern. They all look towards Raze that have been talking to Spike the whole time.

“So you’re a baby dragon? How did you have those wings?” Raze asked while flying facing Spike.

“Well…I kinda turned into stone when a dragon-eating giant bird captured Zecora. When it breaks, I suddenly gained these wings. Before that, I felt itchy around my body too.”

Suddenly, Raze’s excited face turn into a poker face. He asked, “W-Wait…you said you turned into s-stone…?” Raze stop flying while looking towards Spike.

Spike replied calmly, “Yeah…kinda. What’s wrong?”

Suddenly Raze face turned into a fear, he stepped back a few step.

“It just…it felt familiar…and sad…” said Raze.

Suddenly a black aura surrounds Raze. That makes Spike and the mares’ eyes to widen.

“Why did it felt familiar…?” said Raze with his voice a little bit mixed.

“Twilight what should we do?!” Rainbow Dash looks towards Twilight.

“I…uhh…I...”

Suddenly, Starlight’s bedroom door opened.

“*yawn* Good morning, everypony! How’s everybody morning, hmm?” said Starlight whilst rubbing her eyes. Suddenly, her eyes were locked towards one colt that surrounded by a black aura.

“Urmm…did I wake up in the wrong time?” Starlight asks in confusion. Suddenly, Raze’s black aura stops and he run towards Starlight in excitement.

“Oh…my…Celestia! You’re Starlight Glimmer?! I heard a lot about you! The hero of Equestria! You save them when the princesses were captured!”

When Raze was going around Starlight in excitement, Starlight stared towards her friends in confusion. She gave them a an eye gesture,

‘WHAT IN THE WORLD WAS RAZE DOING HERE?! WHAT IS THAT BLACK THING EARLIER?!’

Twilight just smiled nervously and replied with an eye gesture,

‘We’ll talk about it later. I promise.’

Starlight just sighed in defeat.

“So…I heard you’re the Principal School of Friendship!” said Raze in excitement.

“W-Well, yeah…I am…” Starlight replies nervously.

“Wow, you deserve it though! You’re perfect in my opinion! You’re good at magic and pretty mare too!” Raze didn’t hesitate.

That make the whole group fall into silence. Starlight starts to turn red. She side eyed Twilight and the others; they’re trying their best not burst out laughing hearing that statement.

‘Is this colt doesn’t even know what is embarrassment?!’ said Starlight thought, screaming in embarrassment.

Rainbow Dash immediately burst out laughing, “*laughing* he called you pretty! How it felt, Miss Principal?*laughing even louder*”

Raze misunderstood what Rainbow Dash mean, “Hey, don’t be jealous. You don’t have to be like that. You’re pretty too! Despite your attitude, you’re loyal, lovely and awesome! I bet someone already had crush on you!”

That make Rainbow Dash turn her laughter into a silent embarrassment. The mares can’t hold their laugh and immediately burst out laughing.

“*Laughing* Rainbow Dash?! *laughing* someone have a crush on her?! *laugh even louder*”

“Hey, don’t look down on that, Applejack. I’m serious.” said Raze with a slight smirk. That makes the mares to goes into a silence immediately.

“In fact”, Raze took a deep breath, “every single one of you is special on your own way. There’s nothing called ‘I’m perfect’. Everyone has their own perks and flaws. Everyone has something that makes them different. It’s doesn’t matter if they’re a dragon or a Kirin, you’re perfect with your own way. There is no colt without a mare and there’s no mare without a colt.” Raze said in full determination and a warm smile.

Their eye widened and each of them flustered a bit. That was unexpected word coming from Raze. They never saw Raze being such a quote colt.

Rainbow Dash whisper towards Applejack, “I thought Cadance is the only mare that filled with quote about love.”

“Ahthink its changed now.” Applejack replied.

Raze continued, “Anyway, I’m very intrigued by this visit. I should go back to my house…hold on. Do I have one?” Raze tapped his jaw in confusion. He continued, “Oh…I don’t have any. I mostly sleep in the woods. *chuckles*”

Twilight immediately ask, “Why don’t you stay here then?”

Raze’s eyes widened, “S-Stay…? I…I don’t know. I don’t think I should be here.”

Starlight who was hiding behind Raze shakes her head didn’t agree. Twilight felt bad for Starlight but she had made a decision, “It’s okay, Raze. You may stay in the room across Starlight’s.”

Starlight covered her face with her left hoof. She groaned and entered her bedroom after slamming the door shut.

“W-Well…thank you, Princess! Though…I will find myself a new a house.” Raze didn’t sure if he will stay there for a long time.

“Don’t worry, Raze. There’s no charge at all. There’s just too much room in here.” Twilight didn’t feel weighed by that. Raze in the other hand, he replied, “Yeah, I’ll stay. But I will find a job. When I have enough bits, I’ll move out.”

Twilight replied, “Why you want to move out so bad? This castle is enough to fit so many ponies you know!”

Raze stared Twilight seriously, “I don’t like to live in someone’s house without paying. So, I’ve decided, I would find a job, work on myself and I will move out after I had enough bits to pay you and buy myself a new house.”

‘Wow, he is very independent.’ Twilight thought in amazement.

“Anyways, I gotta sleep. It’s been a long time since I had a good sleep.” Raze walks towards his prepared room. He opened and before he closed he shouted, “I’m waking up by night! See ya!”

He closed the door. Twilight just stared for a while. She turned around to see her friends. Each of them has their eyes widened.

“Okay, he is independent, we know. But now…we gotta talk about the back thing that surrounds him earlier.” Starlight said immediately.

“You’re right, let’s go to the cutie map and discuss about this.” said Twilight.

They walk together to the cutie map room to have a discussion about the thing happened earlier with Raze.

In Raze’s room, he walked around inspecting in enthusiasm.

“This is a neat castle and room! I wonder how it was made…” Raze peek around the room. Suddenly, he encounters a book, a very old book. He picks it up with his magic. He opened it. It contains logs. His eyes widened.

“My log…?” he didn’t believe what he just found. Raze stared the book for a long time.

“Meh, I’ll read it tomorrow. I got to have a good sleep.” Raze immediately put the book on the desk, run towards his bed jumped on it and immediately fall asleep.

In the map room, they’re discussing about the black aura that linger around Raze earlier.

“Does anypony know what the hay is the thing that circling around Raze? Twilight, you’re the egghead here don’t you?” Rainbow Dash was the one who talk first.

“In my opinion, I guess that is Raze inner demon. It seems that it won’t come back any soon. For now, we have to be watch out. If that thing came back, we can’t afford to have another disaster strikes us without Raze on our side.” Twilight said with full seriousness.

They nodded in agreement.

“Ah gotta say, we have try to avoid Raze from remembering anything that would lead that thing back. We would accompany him while Sunset and Twilight try to find a way how to contain that thing.” Applejack shared her piece of mind.

“I agree with Applejack. Besides, Raze really need a job. He needs our help to get money and this is our chance to help him and distract him. When Raze were occupied, me and Sunset will try to find a way to prevent that thing from coming back or for the better of all, destroy it.” Twilight added more to Applejack’s opinion.

“I think that’s a divine idea! I could use an extra help in boutique and maybe some new inspirations.” Rarity agreed the idea instantly.

“Yeah, maybe I could use some help with the animals and Discord might like to see him. It seems that Raze and Discord look like they can be a good friend!” Fluttershy also liked the idea.

“Yeah, I bet Gummy would like him!” said Pinkie with enthusiasm.

They laughed. As they stop laughing Twilight continued, “That’s the spirit girls! Let’s do this. Remember; don’t do anything that might trigger his memory.”

They nodded affirmative.

“Great, that’s all for today, girls! You all can mind your own business. I will go see Raze in his room.” Twilight said happily.

“Whoa, whoa, whoa, see…Raze? Pffft…” Rainbow Dash looks towards twilight making a smiling scrunching face.

“What?” Twilight ask in confusion.

Applejack smiled mockingly, “Did someone found their lovely colt?”

Twilight’s face suddenly turn red, “What?! Of course it’s not my crush! How it can be?” she shouts, denying the statement.

“Oh darling your face is all red all of a sudden. Do you really like that colt, Twilight, darling?” Rarity asks while making a sinister smile on Twilight.

“Ugh, enough with you girls, can you stop doing a statement that’s not true?!” Twilight shout in embarrassment.

“Twilight, you gotta admit it you like him! We know that!” Rainbow Dash laughed.

“Urgh, I’ll see you girls later.” Twilight immediately left them inside. When Twilight left, the other discussed,

“Twilight actually like him don’t she? She just can’t accept that she has feelings for him.” Applejack chuckled afterwards. The other just agrees but one mare didn’t respond. Instead, she daydreamed the whole time. She still imagined what happened during the time where Raze healed her bruises.

“Sunset?” a voice called her not far from there.

Still, she was occupied by the scene.

“SUNSET!!!!!” Rainbow Dash shouted making Sunset to snap out of her imagination.

“Oh, uh, yes, Rainbow Dash?” Sunset asks the rainbow mane mare.

“What you’re daydreaming about, darling? What make you so occupied that you didn’t hear us talking?” Rarity asked.

Sunset flustered and replied, “W-Well…”

“You don’t tell me…” Rainbow Dash left eyebrow raised. The other mares that were in the room had their eyes widened immediately, they didn’t believe what they think is actually true.

Twilight stands in front of Raze’s room. She huffed, “Why everyone thinks I felt something for Raze? Is that actually a joke or what?

Twilight touched his door, “You know what…I need to focus. Forget about what happened in the past, we gotta focus in the present.”

Twilight let out a heavy sigh and opened the door. When she’s about to call Raze, she paused - Raze was asleep on his bed without the blanket, drooling all the way on the bed.

“*snoring* Miss…Sunny…*snoring* thanks…for supporting me…*snoring*” Raze murmured in his sleep.

Twilight get a closer look towards Raze. She stared her sleeping face that snoring without opening his mouth. His mane was messy as he has been rolling around the bed while sleeping.

Twilight suddenly had a thought, ‘He actually look good though…’ she flustered to what she just thought about, ‘Why did I think about that?! I’m not here to watch him sleeping! I’m here to talk with him! But he’s asleep though…”

Suddenly, an old book gained Twilight’s attention. She picked it up with her magic and read it. Her eyes widened, ‘is this Raze’s life log?! He even has the information about our weakness and abilities! This book also had his journey…this is bad. If he manages to read this, he will find out and the creature will be released. I will send this book to my library. I will read this later to see what he had.’

Twilight teleported the book and focus back on her mission. She felt like she wants to wakes him but she felt bad as Raze was sleeping peacefully on his bed. She felt sympathy and starts thinking, ‘You know what…I’ll talk to him tomorrow.’ Twilight looks outside, it starting to turn night. Celestia is lowering the sun and Luna is lowering the moon properly. She sighed and left Raze alone sleeping in the room. She stepped outside and slowly closing the doors room, as she closed it. She turned around and greeted by her pink friends making her to startled.

“*gasp* Pinkie why did you do that?!” Twilight shout in whisper.

“Do what? I just see you came out of the door!” She smiled without felling guilt.

“*sigh* you just appeared out of nowhere Pinkie!” Twilight replied.

“Oh don’t I always do that? You even feel like it was actually normal. Did you do anything in there that you’re trying to hide?” Pinkie asks back.

“Hide what?” Twilight was confused.

“You know…maybe you did something in there…” Pinkie let out a naughty chuckle. Twilight think for a while. When it starts to connect, her face suddenly turn red and start blowing a little smoke through the ear.

“NO I’M NOT DOING THAT WHILE HE WAS SLEEPING! ARE YOU CRAZY PINKIE?!” Twilight shout in disbelief.

“Awhh, I thought you will wake him up and throw a party!” Pinkie scrunched her face.

Twilight suddenly realize that Pinkie is not trying to mention something naughty and immediately play with the lie, “Yeah, yeah! Of course! He is sleeping! Why should I ruin his sleep with a party? He definitely needs the sleep for tomorrow!” Twilight smiled nervously.

“Oh well, alright! See you tomorrow!” she jumps happily, leaving Twilight alone. Twilight sighed in relieve.

‘How the hay could I think something like that?’ Twilight speak in her thought. She doesn’t want to think anymore and decided to go to sleep waiting for tomorrow to occur.

Twilight was in the middle of the dandelion field. She walked around in happiness while reading a book. Suddenly she collided with someone in front of her causing her to fall. As she looks up, it was Raze, smiling at her. She blushed.

“You okay, Twilight?” Raze lend a hoof.

She smiled while blushing and accepted the hoof. Both of them stared each other for a while. Suddenly, a breezy wind passes through. Making the field has a comfortable and romantic scene.

Twilight stuttered, “I-I…”

“You like me don’t you?” Raze replied. Her eyes widened. Raze slowly trying to give her a kiss on her cheek. She closed her eyes, accepting the kiss. Suddenly….a voice came out of nowhere.

“Ugh, I have to say that is such an unhinged and…weird…dream.”

Twilight eyes widened, suddenly, everything around her turn into darkness and she fall into the void, screaming.

Twilight immediately wake up from her sleep. It’s early in the morning. She gasped for air. Spike entered her bedroom while holding a scroll. He felt annoyed as the scroll was sent early in the morning. Basically, the baby dragon would spend his sleep time for a long time.

“Good morning, Twilight. Princess Luna sent you a scroll. Take this.” Spike passed the scroll on Twilight. Spike continued, “Now if you’ll excuse me, I need some sleep to continue.” Spike immediately leave room to continue his sleep. Twilight opened the scroll and read the scroll,

‘Dear Twilight Sparkle,

I hope you know that I’m sorry for interrupting your dream. But I have to say, thou dream really make me irritated. I have to say this. I know you like him, but can thou make the dream a little…hinged? Those dream really made me want to barf (respectfully). If someone can view on the dream that I just saw, they would be agree with me. Please Twilight Sparkle, stop thinking about him in such…unhinged and cringe way.

Twilight’s eyes widened, ‘Did I just dream about Raze? No, no, no…that shouldn’t be possible.’

She covered her face with a pillow while groaned, “WHY I CAN’T STOP THINKING ABOUT HIM?!” That left a few silence. She woke up from the bed and goes towards the kitchen. On the walk, she was thinking out loud, “Why I keep thinking about Raze? Why can’t I go anywhere without thinking about him? *groan*”

On her way, she encounters with Starlight. Starlight looks toward Twilight that look somewhat annoyed, “Good morning, Twilight! Erhm…are you…alright?”

Twilight just replied with a murmured ‘yeah’. Starlight catches up with her and walked side by side with Twilight towards the kitchen. It was a silence walk for a minute until Starlight start to talk, “So…how’s the talk with Raze yesterday?”

Twilight replied, “*sigh* I didn’t talk with him. He was sleeping. So I decided would talk to him today.”

“Wait, so you’re saying that you didn’t talk to him yesterday?” Starlight asks again.

“Yeah, I don’t want to interrupt him.” Twilight replied.

When Twilight turns her head to see Starlight, Starlight has given her a devious smile.

“Oh come on, not you too thinking about it!” Twilight complained.

“Come on, Twilight. We know you like him.” Starlight didn’t hesitate.

Twilight replied, “Like whom? Raze?”

Starlight nodded. Twilight groaned, “No, I’m…NOT.”

Starlight replied, “Oh come on, Twilight. The way you act around him…”

Twilight interrupted, “Stop.”

Starlight replied, “Alright, alright.”

As they entered the kitchen both mares had their eyes widened. Both mares were shocked by the sight the never seen. Raze is cooking in the kitchen.

Life is pretty day, when you know, what to care~

He flipped the toast in the air with the spatula without using his hoof. He continues,

Life is when you became the judge and being all fair~

He lifted a plate with his magic and thrown the omelet making it perfectly landed on the plate. He cooks another toast, still occupied by his hum,

He increased the heat to cook the toast faster and continue to sing,

As the toast was done, he pulled another plate and immediately tossed it in the air without looking on the back and the toast landed perfectly on the plate. Both Starlight and Twilight still standing there in shock watching Raze toasting bread.

Suddenly, the alicorn colt greeted them, “Hey Starlight and Twilight! Good morning, have your Hench Toast while it was hot and ready! You don’t want eat it cold, trust me.”

Both mares snapped out from reality and goes toward their seats. They took a seat and both mares stared the toast.

Starlight looks toward Raze that still give no attention to both mares, “Did you actually cook for us?”

“Well, yeah. For the time being, I will be cooking around as a repay method. That little dragon could use some more sleep ya know?” Raze said, still focusing on his peanut butter toast, making the toast flipping 3 times and landed perfectly on the uncooked side.

Both mares immediately look onto each other. Starlight gave a sign to Twilight to talk to him. Twilight nodded, “So, Raze…you need a job right?”

Raze came towards the table as he finished his peanut butter toast, he looked towards them while munching, “Yes, I am. What’s wrong?”

“Starlight here wants to help you to find the job that suits you!” Twilight smiled confidently.

Starlight spit out her food, “Wait really?!”

Twilight replied while gritting her teeth, “Yes…you…are.”

Starlight chuckled nervously, “Yeah, I am! I can’t wait to help you with the job, yay!”

“Awhh, that’s sweet Starlight. But no thank you. I can find it on my own.” Raze reply, touched by Starlight’s (fake) offer.

Suddenly, Starlight felt sympathy for Raze, “You know what, no. You already serve us breakfast. Now I can help you find a job.”

Raze smiled, “If you insisted…” clapped his hooves “oh thank you so much! You don’t how much that means to me!”

“No problem, Raze.” Starlight said calmly. Twilight immediately gave her an eye gestures,

‘Make sure he didn’t go anywhere or do anything that might trigger his old memory back. Roger that?’

Starlight nodded, receiving the commands.

Raze immediately asked, “So…where are we going first?! I can’t wait to do this!”

Twilight replied, “Good, when you guys were busy, I will do my own business with Sunset. We have to go meet with Zecora.”

‘Zecora? You mean the potion zebra?” Raze asked.

‘Yeah, I suggest you guys start at Rarity’s boutique!” Twilight suggested.

Both Raze and Starlight smiled, like with the ideas that given by Twilight.

Both of them arrived at the boutique. Raze knocked the door. From the inside, Rarity’s voice can be heard, “Hold on, there! I’m coming down!”

A bunch of noise can be heard, from a few things falling down to a cat screeching.

“Oops! Sorry! Opalescent I’m sorry darling! Hold on! I’m coming!”

Raze look towards Starlight on his back with confusion. As the door opened, it revealed Rarity in a total mess.

“Hello darling! Sorry for this mess. I…I didn’t really sleep last night.” Rarity explained.

“What makes you didn’t sleep well last night?” Raze tilted his head.

“Urm…”

Flashback…

Rarity just arrived in her boutique, she’s walking around while looking for another inspiration.

“I don’t believe it! How could she like him?! How could she fall in love with the colt that just…urgh! Just forget about it! I hope that this ‘new’ Raze is not acting funny around.”

Suddenly Opalescent, her pet cat, starts meowing.

“Mama, know Opal. The alicorn is totally annoying. If not because his heroic act, I will literally wouldn’t want to see his face.” Rarity replied to the cat.

The cat replied again while playing around Rarity’s legs.

“Oh Opal, you really know how to make mama feel relaxed.”

She goes upstairs to her room. When she enters it, her relaxed smile suddenly turned into a horror shocks. In front of her, there’s an unfinished black and gray dress.

“OH NO! I FORGOT ABOUT THE DRESS THAT I MADE FOR MISS COLORATURA!”

She immediately panicked and quickly worked on the dress. It took her overnight to work on the dress.

End of the flashback.

“So…I manage to finish half of the dress. Unfortunately, today is the last day and I had to send the dress tonight! This is absolute disaster! I can’t even sew properly if my eyes keep blinking!” Rarity replied.

Starlight looked at Rarity with concern, “Oh no, well… I guess we’ll come tomorrow I guess-”

“I can help you!” Raze interrupted Starlight.

“What?” Rarity asked.

“I would like to help you finish it!” Raze replied again.

“Oh nononono, no need, darling.*chuckles” I’m all fine-a”

“No, I insist. Trust me, I can do sewing.” Raze look towards Rarity with determination.

“I-” Starlight from the back give Rarity a nod. Rarity who seen that sighed, “Alright…”

“Thank you, Rarity! I promise you this will be a good come out!” Raze gave her a warm smile.

Rarity sighed as she would see an absolute disaster happened.

While Raze were upstairs finishing the dress, Rarity and Starlight were downstairs, drinking tea.

“*sigh* Why do you want me to let him to continue sewing, Starlight?” Rarity looked onto Starlight in disbelief.

“Listen, I know you don’t like Raze and doesn’t trust him. But from my opinion, it seems that his amnesia really change his attitude.” Starlight tries to convince Rarity.

“Sweet Celestia, if I would trust him, I would but-”

Suddenly, Raze interrupted from upstairs, “Rarity, which one the Coloratura would like?!”

“Oh, just use a few diamond to the dress and it will do, darling!”

“Okay!” Raze replied.

“*sigh* I don’t really like the idea of letting Raze to sew the dress. You know whose dress is that?” Rarity shouted.

“It’s Coloratura’s, Applejack childhood friends, the one that really humble and doesn’t mind anything that messed up at all. Like…what are you expecting? That is the humblest artist that I know!” Starlight replied.

“Yes, and I want her dress to be perfect! Not messed up, Starlight! I don’t order chaos! I order perfection! You know how messed up chaos can be right?!” Rarity shouts in anger.

In the chaotic realm, a draconequus is messing his house (or in other term, reversed cleaning) ears twitching.

“Humph, I can sense someone just mentioned me in a bad way. Whoever that was, I know it wouldn’t be Fluttershy. *sniff*” said Discord to his annoyance.

He continued, messing his house by spawning more mess in his house through a vacuum that blow away everything inside of it.

Starlight made a scrunched face, “Oh come on…you just tease the one that saved Equestria from Changelings invasion.”

The draconequus ear twitched again, “Oh, someone defended me! Whoever that was I appreciate their understanding.” He continued.

“Pfft…I know. I just don’t like when the pony that hurt the princess is helping with my work.” Rarity explained.

“He reformed Rarity. He won’t do anything stupid anymore. You can trust Twilight and me.” Starlight said, trying to convince Rarity. Rarity tries to reply but Raze interrupted from above, “I finished it!”

Rarity looks towards Starlight in disappointment, “*sigh* It’s time to see the outcome. Please don’t be a disaster.”

Both mares walked upstairs. Starlight just sees Rarity that biting her lips. When they’re about to enters the room, Rarity talked with Starlight, “You go first, I don’t want to see the outcome. Tell me when you’ve seen it.”

Starlight rolled her eyes, “Sure.” Starllight immediately enters the room. Rarity waited outside.

From the inside Raze talked, “Do you like my design? Where’s Rarity?”

Just silence, no replies from Starlight. That makes Rarity to be curious. A few minutes has passed. Raze finally talked again, “Urm, Starlight are you alright?”

A few minutes later, Starlight replied, “What is this thing?”

That makes Rarity to slowly lose the urge to see the dress.

“This…this is unbelievable! This is crazy!” Starlight shouts in disbelief. Rarity finally lose it, she enters the room, “WHAT HAPPENED TO THE DRESS?!”

As she enters the room, her jaw dropped, in front of her, e beautifully dress was made. It doesn’t look like the dress that Coloratura would like but it might be the best one to show her. When she turn to the left she realized, it’s just a copy of the dress but with the finished version. She took a closer look, it was perfectly sewed. The perfect sew line impress Rarity even more.

“So…do you like it?” Raze asked politely.

“This is…fabulous! The line, the design the…the…the completed version! It’s not look like what Coloratura asks but this is simply a divine! How did you do that?” Rarity asked in amazement.

‘Well, I saw the draw of the design, I take a closer look. I took one of your paper, sorry, and I sketch my own design. I don’t want to ruin your work so I just copied your design with the existing threads and silk. I took me a few minutes but I manage to finish it!” Raze explained with excitement.

“You made this in a few minutes?! How’s that even possible?!” Rarity replied in shock.

“Concentration and Agility magic conjure. It’s that easy.” Raze replied.

‘Did he just said Agility?’ said Starlight thought was confused.

“Agility? Since when there’s Agility in magic conjure?” Rarity asks in confusion.

“Gusty the Great has written that down, I don’t know how I did that but I found this book that says about it.” Raze replied while showing Gusty the Great’s Diary. Starlight’s eyes widened.

‘Where did you get that?” Rarity asks in confusion.

“I found it in a bag next to my bed. There’s a log book that I wanna read but I guess I lost it last night. I think someone just took it yesterday.” Raze replied.

“What log is that?” Rarity replied.

“It says about my log. I don’t remember I had one.” Raze replied.

Both mares stood in silence. Both mares stared each other. They know if Raze manage to read that, he will actually release the creature back.

“Why you guys stared each other like that? Is there’s something about it?” Raze ask in confusion.

“Oh, it’s nothing darling. It’s just uhh…both of us are wondering, since when Agility is a way on conjuring a magic?” Rarity tries to going off the topic.

“Oh well, It’s actually the ability for you to cast many spell in under a minutes. I mix the conjure with concentration so I could make the dress quickly at the same time making the dress look better.” Raze explained.

“Wait a minute, you use two conjure…at the same time?” Starlight asks in disbelief.

“Well, yeah. Actually, I don’t know how I did it. Somehow like I already know what to do-ouch, why do I feel familiar with this place?” Raze look around. Suddenly, he saw an unfinished design that halfway completed. When he touched the design, the pain in his head gets stronger.

“Why…why I feel I’ve sewed this one before?” Raze said when a black aura starts to form around him. Both mares started to panic as the black aura forming.

“I…I…” Raze stuttered. Starlight immediately interrupted, “Hey, why don’t we uhh…go to the Sweet Apple Acres now?”

The black aura immediately stops reforming as Raze turned around. He replied timidly, “O-okay. I guess we should get uhh…going, I guess.” He looked at the suit with a worrying stare.

“Come on, Applejack might be waiting for us!” Starlight touched Raze’s shoulder.

Both colt and mare get out from boutique, leaving Rarity alone. Rarity then, inspected the dress that Raze just made. It’s a total divine work. When she looks around, she found another finished dress on her work desk. She picks it up and there’s a note left by Raze,

Dear Rarity,

If you read this, I’m sorry for disturbing your dress here. I just can’t stand to finish this one too. I know you’ll be mad but I just can’t stop myself from finishing this one. I hope there’s no one ordered this dress.

Rarity inspected the dress, it was well made too. She muttered, “I didn’t believe he also finished this design. How faithful he is finishing the design! It may not accurate but it’s a splendid job! I think I could have him as my assistance! This job here was well made, I have to admit it.”

In the Sweet Apple Acres, Raze and Starlight arrived. They saw Applejack is looking at the wagon wheels that happen to be broken.

“Hi, Applejack, what up with the wagon?” Raze asked.

“Can’t you see here? The wheel is broke! How me and Big Mac can harvest the apple if it broke lak’ this?!” Applejack complained.

“Do you think it fixable?” Starlight asked.

“N…ope.” Big Mac replied.

“Hey, can I try to fix it?” Raze offer a help.

“NO!” Big Mac shouted. That makes Raze to startle. Applejack on the other hand, she replied, “Do you think we trust in you after what you did with the Apple Junior?”

That makes Starlight to panic. Raze tilted his head to the side, “Wait, had I came to the farm before?”

Starlight behind Raze, gave Applejack a signal to not make anything that might trigger his memory. Applejack also make a panic face and continued, “Of course not! Uhh…you…uhh…someone happen to uhh…look like you and…uhh…killed our tree!” she then make a scrunched face while looking around with her eyes.

“Uhh…why you look like that? Are you lying?” Raze asked in confusion.

“Nope!” Applejack said before the same expression.

“Are you…?”

“Hey, how about you help us fix this wagon! Maybe you know how to do it!” said Applejack immediately trying to turn the topic.

“Oh…alright then.” said Raze before take a closer look to the wheels. He inspected it and picked the wheel up. Applejack stand next to Starlight and ask while whispering, “Why the hay you bring him here?!”

“He needs a job. He could have it at Rarity’s but that one darn suit he made nearly mess it up.” Starlight whispers back.

“So you’re sayin` that the demon nearly got out?” Applejack whisper again.

“Eeyup.” Starlight simply replied.

“I know how to fix this.” Raze interrupted. Big Mac in the other hand just stared Raze in disbelief. There’s no way Raze could fix that wheel. Raze lifted the broken part and fused it. He cast a pretty strong magic that shine brightly making the others to cover their eyes. As the shine stops, they look toward the wheels that look as good as new.

Raze smiled, “Done as new! This wheel now nearly indestructible! Trust me, not even magic could stop it.”

“How you can prove it?” Big Mac suddenly talked.

Raze throw the wheel high up in the air and casted multiple dangerous explosive magic towards the wheels causing some dust. As Raze stop, the wheel fallen down and causes some cracks. The wheel still looks good as new and it’s half buried in the ground. That makes Applejack jaw to drop.

She takes a closer look, “I can’t believe it! How did you do that?”

“Hey, magicians never reveal their secrets.” Raze smirked.

Somewhere in Manehattan, a blue mare pony is getting ready behind the stage when she sneezes.

“Why the Great and Powerful Trixie feels her slogan is stolen?” said Trixie as she looks around.

“It doesn’t matters, as long The Great and Powerful Trixie are on her magic show! My stage will never be overtaken!” Trixie said proudly. She walks up to the stage as the audience gave her a big round of applause.

“Hmph, I wonder if Trixie thought about that.” Starlight muttered.

“Anyways, do you guys have any job?” Raze ask politely.

“Well you can buck…” Applejack then saw Starlight shakes her head, “OR…! Y-you can pull the wagon!”

Raze smiled, “Oh well, sure!”

Applejack and Starlight let out a sigh of relieve.

In the middle of the apple farm, Applejack and Big Mac were bucking the apple when Raze and Starlight were carrying the wagons that were filled with apples.

Raze blow a raspberries, “Sometimes pulling a wagon is boring. Wanna hear a song?”

Starlight just looked Raze in the face, “Urm, sure!”

Raze then starts singing while Big Mac and Applejack still bucking,

Hope~

Is always the thing that make you feel great~

Both Big Mac and Applejack stops bucking the apple trees as Raze song are getting interesting.

Raze goes off the wagon and start walking around, getting carried by the song that doesn’t sound very good,

Raze ended his song with a little bow to Starlight. Applejack goes towards Starlight and whispered, “Does he always carried away like this with the song?”

“I don’t know, the lyric doesn’t even mean anything.” Starlight whispers back.

Raze start to talk, “Sorry, I just love to sing random thing that goes on my mind.” He goes back to his wagon.

“Come on, have you done bucking?” Raze asked politely.

Applejack and Big Mac continue bucking the trees.

A few moments has passed, the group heading back towards the barn.

“So, Raze, why do you want to get yourselves a house of your own? Why don’t you just stay in the castle?” Applejack asked.

“Why, you ask? It’s simple. I don’t like live in someone else houses. It makes me uncomfortable you know? It’s like I’m using them.” Raze replied calmly.

‘That was an expected answer. Let’s try this next,’ said Applejack thought, “So, if someone offers you a house fully with no charge, no rent and no nothin’ would you accept?”

“Oh nice question, Applejack, it’s a no. I love to pay as minimum as I can. If he says like ‘Okay, I will accept 1,500 bits.’ I would literally pay him 2,000 bits. I don’t really like something that free in my life except for emergency occasion like stranded.” Raze replied calmly.

Big Mac, Starlight and Applejack that heard the question were walking in silence. How in Equestria someone would reject a free house?! They shout in disbelief in their thought.

“Alright, we arrived!” Raze said making them snapped out of the thought. Raze took off the wagon and walked around, “Ahh, a good day to be a farmer.”

As he looks around he saw one crater in between an apple tree. He walked towards the crater. Suddenly, he felt familiar, which makes his head starts to hurt.

“Why do I feel familiar with this crater…?” Raze said in a lower tone. Seeing that situation, Applejack and Starlight immediately put it into action.

“Hey Raze! Come on, partner! Granny Smith is making us a pie!” Applejack called him. Raze turned around, “Yeah, yeah, go ahead. I…I will follow from behind.”

Applejack didn’t able to convince Raze to go. She whispered towards Starlight, “Starlight, I hope you can handle this thing.”

Starlight replied, “Hold on, I got an idea.” She walks toward Raze that looking at the crater.

“You must be wondering why one trees were missing right?” Starlight asks calmly.

“Yeah…somehow I know why…” Raze replied.

“Well, before you came, Bloomberg the Apple Tree was here! Unfortunately, it has been moved to AppleLoosa.” Starlight replied.

“Oh well, that’s why! It just felt familiar, *chuckles* it’s like I had once came here and accidentally kicked a tree up in the air.” Raze replied.

“*nervous laugh* oh Raze you are funny! Come on, we don’t want to miss a delicious pie you know?” Starlight added more.

“Alright, I’m also hungry to be honest. I’ll go first.” Raze walked towards the house of Applejack. Starlight followed from behind, “That was another close call.”

She followed Raze to the house.

“Huh, I wonder why Apple Bloom and Granny Smith look at me like I’m villian.” Raze wondered.

“Well…uhh…you just look familiar to someone who just ate their apple without any permission.” Starlight replied.

“You mean like a famous story where a lavender colt and his dragon go through the gates and eat all the apples? To be honest, I already read that novel story. I’m waiting for the Chapter 43 though.” Raze replied.

“Yeah it’s just like that, but there’s no dragon.” Starlight replied.

“Alright, our last stop is at the SugarCube Corner. We can’t go to Fluttershy because she is handling a situation with Discord.” Starlight added more.

Somewhere in the Chaos Realm,

AAAAAAAACHHHHHHOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!

That is the sneeze of the infamous Lord of Chaos. Unfortunately, it’s from a disease that infected him recently. So, Fluttershy had to take care of Discord for a while.

“What an unfortunate day for you, Discord. Why don’t you just snap your finger to cure this disease?” Fluttershy asked politely.

“Oh my dear, Fluttershy, this is no ordinary sickness, my friend. If I snap my finger it will totally have different outcome than what I wanted so it might be dangerous for me to do it.” Discord replied. Suddenly he whispers towards a wall, “I just don’t want her to spend time with the colt that she talks earlier, don’t tell her or I’ll put a pineapple monster under your bed.”

“What did you say, Discord?” Fluttershy felt Discord whispered something.

“Oh no, it was nothing. I’m talking to myself. *fake cough*” Discord replied.

Fluttershy raised her shoulder and continue to provide Discord all the little help she can give.

“And today Rainbow Dash had a practice with the Wonderbolts.” Starlight added.

‘Wait, if they did it should be done by now. If I’m not wrong, they actually practice for 3-4 hours am I correct?” Raze replied.

“Yeah, we were at the barn for a long time. Why Rainbow Dash haven’t coming back yet?” Starlight wondered.

“Crash, are you sure you want to keep practicing? I think we already had enough for today,” said Spitfire, the Captain of the Wonderbolts.

“Pfft…what’s the problem with that? I love practicing you know!” Rainbow Dash replied.

“That’s weird…I thought everytime we finished you’re gonna be the first one who is going to fly towards the locker room.” Spitfire replied.

“Well, uhh…I feel like I want to practice even more today!” she grinned, trying to convince her captain.

“*sigh* alright, whatever Crash. Just don’t overwork yourself. We got a show to go on next month.” Spitfire replied before departed to her office.

As Spitfire leave, Rainbow Dash let out a big relieve sigh, “That was a close one. I don’t want to meet with that colt for now.” Rainbow Dash said as she wouldn’t want to see Raze at all for that day.

“Hmph, maybe they have a special show next month so they gotta work hard.” Raze concluded.

“Yeah, maybe you’re right.” Starlight replied.

They walk towards the Sugarcube Corner as ponies around them look towards Raze. Some of them give a hatred look while the other gave him a grateful smile - thanks to his sacrifice that doesn’t even remember.

Suddenly a cyan pony and a cream pony came close towards Raze and Starlight. The cyan pony, Lyra, start to talked, “Hey, thanks for saving us a few days earlier from that creature.”

“Yeah, that was such a heroic act you done despite your attack on the princess.” The cream pony known as BonBon added more.

“Huh, saving you from creatures?” Raze look towards them in confusion. Starlight immediately goes towards the mares and talked to them, “Lyra and BonBon, can I have a talk with you for a while? Raze you can go ahead, I’ll follow you from behind.”

Raze just start walking towards the cake shop, leaving Starlight talking with both mares.

“But Miss Cakes, you can trust me!” Pinkie begged with a puppy face while Raze were standing outside the shop in confusion.

“No, Pinkie! He nearly burn down the shop to ashes! We can’t risk it for the second time!” said Miss Cake, a blue mare with a pink mane carrying a cream unicorn filly with orange mane.

“But…” Pinkie whispered, “He actually has amnesia!”

“Pinkie, we nearly got the shop burn down, how many times we have to repeat?” said an orange colt named Mr. Cake who is carrying a same foal but a pegasus with a brown mane.

“Please, I promise that the shop won’t burn down this time! It’s a Pinkie Promise!” Pinkie insisted.

Both colt and mare look onto each other in worries for a minute. Then, both pony let out a sigh with the mare replied, “Alright, this time we let you have the last chance bring him in.”

“YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” Pinkie screamed in joy. “Raze come in!” Pinkie called the alicorn outside.

“Alright…” He walked in. He looks around the interior with interest. “This is a pretty neat shop you have!” Raze said while looking into the cake that have been displayed.

“Oh well thank you…I wouldn’t expect that from you.” Mr. Cake.

“What did you mean?” Raze asked in confusion.

“Well, when you enter the shop with-”

Suddenly, Pinkie put a hoof into Mr. Cake mouth and whispered, “Don’t bring his memory backs, we might bring back something that we don’t want!”

That makes both couple to freeze and stood in silence.

“Well…uh…we never got a compliment from a prince before that’s what I’m saying!” said Mr. Cake whilst giving a nervous grin.

“Oh, it’s not a total problem! I think this place deserves more recognition, I’m being honest.” Raze replied. He continued, “So…what is my first job?”

“Well…before you get a job…you can help me bake first!” Pinkie said happily.

The Cake immediately squeaked. Both couple gave a worried look.

In the kitchen, everything for the cake is already on the counter. Raze look towards the ingredients. There’s flours, eggs, the entire thing that used for the cake. There are also some extraordinary ingredients like gummy bears, jelly beans, rock candies and…salt?

“Why salt is in the cake ingredients?” Raze asked.

“Oops, I didn’t mean to bring it here!” Pinkie grabbed the salt sack and tossed it away. Somehow, the sack didn’t land and disappeared completely after she throws it through window frame.

“Oh…okay! So, what we’re going to do first?” Raze asked.

“Of course we make the dough! Can you pass me the flour?” Pinkie asked.

“Oh yeah sure, Pinkie!” said Raze, lifted the sugar towards Pinkie with his magic. Pinkie grabbed it put it in the bowl.

“Now pass me the egg!” Pinkie asked.

“Alright, here goes the egg!” Raze passed the eggs.

It goes for a few minutes for the mixing until Pinkie start talking as she start battering the dough, “So…Raze, what is your thought about Twilight?”

“Pardon me?” Raze ask in confusion.

“What do you think about Twilight?” Pinkie replied again.

“She’s a genius and a good friend in my thought. Why did you ask?” Raze replied.

No I mean…do you think she’s pretty?” Pinkie asks without hesitant.

“Hmm…about that…she is though. But seriously, why do you ask?” Raze asks.

“Well, it’s because-”

“Hi everyone, how’s the cake going?” Starlight interrupted the conversation.

“Oh, hi there, Starlight, the cake is alright! It’s in the oven right now!” Pinkie replied.

“Wait, in the oven? I thought it’s-”

Katung!

That’s the sound of the oven door being closed with cake inside.

“Now it is!” Pinkie happily replied.

“Oh…well…” Raze touched his back mane.

“So…what are you talking about right now?” Starlight asks looking at Raze.

“Oh, she ask me if I like-”

“I ask him if he like strawberry cakes!” Pinkie interrupted.

“Wait, what? That’s not-”

“Do you like Blueberry Cake?” Pinkie asks.

“Oh, uh, well…I do…I guess?” Raze replied.

“Good, because…”

DING!

“The cake is ready!” Pinkie continued as she walks towards the oven. She opened the oven; it lets out a very delicious smell that would make anyone drool.

“Sweet Celestia…that smells delicious! I thought it’s yours for a second.” Raze said while looking at the cake.

“Huh? What do you mean by that?” Pinkie asks.

“Well, you let out a smell of a cotton candy, full honest. That’s make me hungry. Your perfume really makes you sweet!” Raze explained. But in the explanation, he forgot to mention one word, which makes Pinkie to blush.

“Make me…sweet?” Pinkie look at Raze with her eyes widened. Starlight also shocked hearing the word that was coming from Raze.

“Yeah, it’s funny isn’t it?” Raze replied, didn’t know what he just gotten himself into.

“Well…yeah…*chuckles*” Pinkie replied while looking at the cake, smiling on her own.

“Urm, why does your face turned red? Does the oven heat it up?” Raze said while taking a peek at the oven. Suddenly, he saw a burnt on top of the oven. When he sees that his head felt a slight pain.

“Why did that burn feel familiar?” Raze muttered. Once again, a black aura starts forming on him. Both Pinkie and Starlight start to panic. Pinkie walked up to Raze and distracts him, “Hey, how about you give that cake a try?”

Raze look at Pinkie, “S-Sure, after I…ugh…see this burn. This burn smells familiar…”

“Come on, Raze! You should try it while it still hot!” Pinkie replied.

“Alright, sure…” Raze move away from the burn which immediately cleaned by Pinkie in a light speed.

Raze took a bite of the cake, his eyes immediately widened in excitement. He looked at Pinkie with a smile, “This is so delicious! I didn’t know you were such a good baker!”

“Oh yeah, baking is really my specialty! Baking is not really a problem for Pinkie Pie!” she replied while cleaning the burn that somehow still hasn’t worn of the oven.

“Really? Huh, I guess that make sense.” Raze replied.

Pinkie after a while, finally able to makes the burn disappear. She let out a huge relieve and starts walking towards the counter.

“So, Starlight, do you think he deserve this job?” Pinkie asks towards Starlight who has been standing in silence for few minutes.

“Oh…uh…I don’t know. What do you think, Raze?” Starlight looks at Raze.

“Hmm…It’s great but I don’t think I’ll like it. I’m not a baker person.” Raze replied.

“Oh well, we can try another place tomorrow I guess?” Starlight replied.

“Yeah, I think it is. Sorry Pinkie, I think I’m not cut out for this job.” Raze looked at Pinkie with a guilt on his face.

“Oh don’t worry, we don’t really need worker for now! Wee!” Pinkie said before doing a cartwheel towards outside.

“So, do you think we should go home? I think its starts to get dark.” Starlight talked.

“I think you’re right…*yawn* I also need a good sleep before tomorrow.” Raze replied.

Yeah…come on. Let’s go back to the castle.” Starlight replied.

Raze and Starlight walked together, heading back to the Castle of Friendship.

“*Yawn* that’s a long day we had ain’t it, Raze?” Starlight asks towards the alicorn.

“Yeah, it was a very good job preview too. It’s just of them felt familiar.” Raze replied.

“*nervous chuckle* Yeah, it’s just your old memories. Hey, how about you go to the library? Maybe you’ll learn something new from there!” Starlight said, hoping it would distract him.

“Oh, I forgot there’s library in here. Alright have a goodnight!” Raze replied.

“Alright, you have a goodnight too.” Starlight replied before walking away, leaving Raze alone.

“Alright, let’s see the library…” Raze walked towards the library, hoping he would find something interesting.

“‘The Conjure and Mystery of Magic’…already read… ‘Merry Copper and The Philosopher Gems’…this one is good but already finish the story… ‘Equestria Z Day’…the worst story, they didn’t have a good climax.” Raze finally gave up and leaning back to the bookshelf.

“Why is there no any good book in here? Is there any astro physic?” Raze blow a raspberries. Suddenly, he sees an old diary lying on a table. He goes to the table and analyzes the book while lifting it in the air with his magic.

“Hey, this is the book that I wanted to read! How did you end up here?” Raze said while inspecting the book.

“Whatever it is, I finally found you back. I wonder what it has inside…” Raze pulls out a bean bag, sit and start reading, slowly uncovering his true identity.

Outside the Castle of Friendship, Sunset and Twilight arrived. Both of them were chatting.

“That was a close call…” Sunset said, relieved after what happened earlier.

“Yeah, imagine he sees us!” Twilight replied.

Flashback…

Twilight had invited Sunset to help her to find a way to recover Raze memory without triggering the creatures that reside in Raze. Sunset decide they should go visit Zecora to find a potion that able to do that. As they arrived, Zecora replied, she can’t do anything that prevent the aura from growing but she can make a potion that could weaken the dark creature, making it unable to rise when the memory flooding back. Zecora need a few ingredients to make it such as golden apple. Both Twilight and Sunset goes to various places to obtain it. For a few times, they had to teleport immediately everytime they encountered Raze and Starlight. They didn’t even expect that both of them going to use the same path as they did. From the Sweet Apple Acres to the SugarCube Corner, they keep encountering them - making them to hide behind a tree, posing as the tree. Luckily they able to avoid them and managed to gather all the ingredients.

In the Zecora’s Hut, both mare gave Zecora the ingredients, Twilight talked first, “*sigh* that was a close call!”

“Yeah, imagine we accidentally met them…that would be a whole lot of explanation.” Sunset replied.

“So Zecora, we gathered the entire thing you need! The Rainbow Flower, The Lily Flower, Golden Apple, Dragon saliva…”

“Which we ask politely to Spike…” Sunset added. Twilight continued, “And lastly…”

She pulls out a Dragon Tooth (which is Spike’s tooth) and put in on the table. Twilight added more, “This is Spike’s tooth when he was like…6 years old! *chuckles* His first ever tooth to worn off.”

“Thanks for gathering all of this ingredients that I asks. Now I shall go on with the true task.” Zecora said while putting the entire ingredient in a pot, step from step and start stirring.

“So, what does this potion actually?” Sunset asks in curiously.

“This potion doesn’t have the ability to destroy the darkness, but it shall able to contain the madness. It maybe looks pretty, but drinking is a bit risky.” Zecora replied.

“What is dangerous about it?” said Twilight as it’s her turn to ask.

“Well, the drinker must be unaware of his memory, but if they do, your attempts to stop it will be tiny.” Zecora replied.

“Alright, thanks for the information, Zecora.” Twilight replied.

“I finally done create the potion, it’s time for you to finish the movement.” Zecora replied after passed the potion to Twilight.

“Alright, come on Sunset! We have a darkness to prevent!” Twilight said to Sunset.

Both mares walked away after thanked Zecora and heading towards the Castle of Friendship.

“*chuckles* Yeah, it would be a long time of explanation and lies.” Sunset replied. Both mares entered the castle and walked inside. Suddenly, they saw Raze walking the hallway in front of them with a pale, straight face while holding something in his legs. As they passed, Twilight and Sunset look onto each other in confusion. They immediately chase Raze that still walking.

“Hi, Raze! Why you look so pale?” Twilight called Raze.

“Yeah, what’s wrong? Anything happened earlier?” Sunset added.

Raze turned around. When both mares saw what he hold, both of them immediately froze. In Raze left leg, he holds an old diary that wrote on its title: The Raze’s Log. Twilight showed a very worried face rather than Sunset that just widened her eyes.

“T-Twilight…is…is that the l-log that you’re talking a-about?” Sunset stuttered.

“Is this why you girls have been acting weird lately?” Raze interrupted. Both mares didn’t reply.

“IS THIS WHY YOU PONIES HAS BEEN HIDING FROM ME?! MY-MY, WHOLE ENTIRE MEMORIES?!” Raze scream to the top of his lungs. A black aura starts forming around him.

“Raze, I know it’s bad but it’s for your own-”

“Good? What good Twilight? Are you trying to hide my memories so something bad wouldn’t happen?” Raze replied, keeping an angered poker face. He continued, “Is this the greatest way for you to solve this?” The black aura that surrounds Raze, it’s slowly getting stronger.

“Raze, we can talk about this. We can-”

“How come I didn’t know I’m a monster on my past memories? W-Why you didn’t tell me?” Raze formed a little tear. He continued, “How I could be such a cruel before? So for this whole time I lost my memory? I’m-I’m not an ordinary alicorn without a title?”

The black aura getting stronger and starts to taking over Raze’s body.

“Raze, stop that creature from overtaking you. This is not you!” Twilight shouts in worry.

“I’m a monster in my log Twilight! I didn’t kill just a bunch of ponies…I kill a thousands of creatures!” Raze replied, making the aura stronger. After that, a shockwave was released, causing Twilight and Sunset launched to the back. Suddenly, Starlight came around.

“What’s happening?” Starlight shouted. As soon as she saw Raze, she screamed, “SWEET CELESTIA! RAZE, WHAT YOU ARE DOING?!”

“What am I doing? I’m gonna ask you back, why did you girls hide this from me?” Raze asked.

“W-We…” Twilight stuttered. She look down to the floor, “We don’t want you to know. We don’t want something bad happens.” Twilight replied with a low tone.

“If you did that to prevent something bad happens…that’s mean…I’m…I’m…I’m a monster!” Raze shouted. Finally his body was taken over by the darkness. The three mares looked in horrors as Raze was covered in pitch black darkness. Raze’s eyes immediately turns white with no eye lens. He starts crying.

“I’M A MONSTER, TWILIGHT! A TOTAL MONSTER!” Raze shouts before running off, going outside, running away from the castle. When he passed them, they felt a strong sadness and despair aura coming from him. After he leaves, the aura stopped. Starlight looks towards Twilight, “What we’re going to do now?!”

“I will case him, both of you; gather others, right…NOW!” Twilight said before running, chasing Raze from behind.

“Come on, Sunset! You call Applejack, Pinkie and Rarity. I’ll call Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy!” Starlight said towards Sunset.

Sunset nodded. Both mares start running, going towards the others.

As everyone still sleeping, Raze run in the town, leaving a slight aura that would gave the sadness and despair feeling. Twilight chased him from above whilst avoiding the black aura.

“Raze, stop we can talk about this!” shout Twilight trying to call Raze out. Raze didn’t reply, instead he ran through the EverFree Forest, making Twilight to lose trace of him. Twilight fly down and landed in front of the EverFree Forest entrance.

“Oh no, I lost track of him!” Twilight muttered. She stand there, trying to think how find Raze again. Twilight friends finally arrived on time.

“How you girls can come early?” Twilight asks.

“We hear a strong screaming coming from the castle. Is everything okay?” Fluttershy said with worries.

“Yes, apparently, Raze found a log about his past memories. He ran away and called himself monster. And now I try to chase him but now he ran into the forest and I lose track of him.” Twilight replied.

“So…what’re we waitin’ for? Come on, let find’ em!” Applejack replied.

“We can’t find him if we’re together!” Twilight replied.

“Then we split up, me, Rainbow and Sunset goes to the West, Fluttershy, Rarity and Starlight go to the east. Twilight you follow-”

“I go by myself.” Twilight replied.

“A-Alright, Come on, we don’t want anything happened to the town when he still out there!” Applejack shouted.

“Why do you sound like you’re trying to kill him?” Twilight replied.

“No, I’m trying to kill the creature inside him!” Applejack replied.

“If so…you can’t. As soon as you find Raze, send anyone to call me. We don’t want to startle him and make him runaway. Something is not right about this.” Twilight replied.

“Alright, Twilight…but if you don’t come by in one minute after we call, we’ll gonna try to capture Raze immediately.” Applejack replied.

“…alright.” Twilight said before she flies away trying to find the colt. The other then immediately walked to their designated direction with their group.

Twilight flies around, trying to find at least a silhouette or any trails of Raze. She looks around in worries.

“Come on…come on…where are you…?” She muttered. She saw a dark trail, “Ha, found you!” Twilight fly down but she stopped midair as the trail leave out a strong aura. “I can’t follow this trail. It gave out bad feelings. I guess I’ll follow this trail from here.” Twilight said. She followed the trail until it stops near the statue of the Nightmare Moon. It took her a few minutes. She looks around and saw Raze sitting, facing the statue, still in his dark form. He stared the statue with a sad face with the aura around Raze finally gone. Twilight take that opportunity to sit next to Raze.

“R-Raze, are you feeling better?” Twilight asks.

“…” Raze didn’t answer. Both of them stared the statue for a long time. Raze finally speak up, “If I know everything like this happens, I would find somewhere alone and I’m going to stay there until I die.” Raze replied.

“Why do you say that?” Twilight shouted.

“Well, you see, I hurt the princesses, your sister, and your friends. How I deserve a second chance?” Raze replied.

“Most creatures deserve a second chance! Let’s took Luna as example, she before was Nightmare Moon but after we save her, she was changed.” Twilight replied.

“She was succumbed by jealousy and darkness, Twilight. I’m different, I’m the one who willingly to kill and terminate.” Raze sadly replied.

“Oh well…urm…how about…Discord? He causes all the chaos but with the help of Fluttershy, he reformed!” Twilight replied.

“He didn’t kill, Twilight. He toys with minds.” Raze replied.

“Well…how about Tempest Shadow? She-”

“She just turned the princesses into stone. She didn’t hurt them and plus, she was getting manipulated.” Raze replied.

That left Twilight in silence. Raze continued, “I’m not like them, Twilight. I’m a murderer. I remembered now. I killed griffons, hippogriff, birds, ponies and many more. I even killed a dragon. What do you think? I killed many creatures, and I bet I’m wanted from every place. Do you think anyone trust me anymore?”

Another silence kicks in. Twilight can’t reply anything. Suddenly she looks at rest with full determination. She replied, “You know who?”

Raze looked at her, “Who then?”

Twilight gave Raze a hug. That makes the colt to shock. Twilight continued, “Me, Raze. I will always trust you. If not…” she tightens the hug, “Why would I trust you?” she released the hug and looked at Raze that apparently have his eyes widened and a little flustered. The aura that took over Raze slowly disappearing and showing Raze’s normal body.

“I…I…” Raze stuttered. Raze stared the statue, so did Twilight. Both of them stared the statue for a long time. While Twilight stared the statue, she suddenly received a kiss on her cheek. She turns to look at Raze that immediately says, “Thanks.” Her face starts to turn red as tomato. On just a few minutes a slap was sent to Raze’s cheek.

“OW! HEY! WHAT WAS THAT FOR?!” Raze shouted in confusion.

“WHY DID YOU KISS ME ON THE CHEEK, RAZE?!?” Twilight ask while still having her face red.

“Doesn’t that is the way everypony says thank you? Is that wrong?” Raze said, touching his red cheek because of the slaps.

“SINCE WHE PONIES KISS THEIR FRIENDS TO SAYS THANK YOU?!” Twilight shouted again in embarrassment.

“Well…” Raze touched his mane.

A few hours in the library earlier before Raze found the book, Raze accidentally encounters a pink book.

“Huh…what’s this? A Guide to Be a Good Coltfriend? Hey, this sounds a good way to improve my friendship lesson! Let see…” Raze opened the book and strolled through pages and pages of the lesson, thought of a great way to be a better friend.

“ARE YOU SERIOUS? YOU DON”T KNOW WHAT COLTFRIEND MEAN?!” Twilight shouted in disbelief.

“Eh…? Doesn’t that mean I’m your friend but I’m a colt right? Or does that have other meaning?” Raze asks.

“Well…uhh…” Twilight stuttered, can’t find a good way to reply. Just in time, the other arrived.

“What happened, y’all?! We heard a loud noise coming from here so we decided-” Applejack pauses as she sees Raze in his normal form and Twilight that standing with her face blushing red. Suddenly, Applejack give them a mischievous smile.

“So…what are you doing, Twilight?” Applejack asks.

“Oh, uhm, I just talk with Raze here. His inner demon was able to contain.” Twilight replied.

“*chuckles* what kind of talk that make Raze turn back normal and make you blushes?” Applejack asks again. Some of their other friend’s eyes immediately widened. They gave her a mischievous smile.

“Oh, I know what you’re talking Applejack.” Rarity added more.

Twilight face turned even redder and interrupted, “NO I DIDN”T TALK ABOUT THAT!”

“Oooh, I see that Applejack, that must have been a good talk.” Pinkie added more. She turned to see Raze, “So, what you guys talking about?”

“What we’re talking about? Oh, we’re just talking about the reformed Luna, Discord and Tempest.” Raze replied.

“Then why Twilight face is red?” Pinkie asked.

“I just gave a kiss to the cheek and then she slaps me! What is wrong with that?” Raze replied.

That makes everyone even more shocked. Rarity replied, starting to get interested, “Why did you give a kiss to the cheek?”

“Well, I just follow a guide from a book! I swear in the name of Celestia, I just follow a guide book which is titled ‘How to Be a Good Coltfriend’! So I think it’s a good idea to follow the instruction, I might be a good friend! Am I wrong?” Raze replied.

“Wait what? How the hay you get that book?” Applejack asks.

“Of course, inside the castle library, where else you can find it?!” Raze replied.

Applejack goes to Twilight and whispered, “Alright, Twilight, you got to explain to us, does he know anything about coltfriend?”

“I swear in behalf of Luna, he has no idea what he was reading about. I swear.” Twilight replied.

“Are you serious?” Applejack asks again.

“I Pinkie Promise that Raze doesn’t know what he’s reading about.” Twilight replied.

“We’ll see about that.” Applejack replied. Applejack gave a signal to Pinkie which she replies with a nod. Pinkie goes near Raze and asked, “Hey, do you know what a coltfriend is?”

“Coltfriend? Doesn’t that mean that I’m a colt as a friend? Is there other meaning of it?” Raze asks.

“Where do you know about that?” Pinkie asks again.

“Well, colt meant a colt, so friend mean friends! Doesn’t that obvious?” Raze replied.

Pinkie looks towards Applejack and shakes her head. Applejack look towards Twilight, “Sweet Celestia, he might be the dumbest colt we’ve ever met.”

“Eeyup.” Twilight replied. She continued, “Alrright, can we end this and just go home? I feel sleepy right now.”

“*yawn* I get you point Twilight, anyone have anything to say?” Rainbow Dash replied.

“I do, by I do…I mean we all have something to say.” Fluttershy replied.

They all start to realize they have to apologies.

“Well, alright, Raze, I’m sorry I doubted you for a second chance. I should believe that you could change.” Applejack talked first.

“Me too, I should avoid you when you want to learn about friendship. I’m sorry, Raze.” Rainbow Dash replied.

“Well for me, I’m sorry if I avoided you if you notice. I should be the one who understands you.” Sunset replied.

“Hey, hey, relax. Everyone make mistakes. Sometimes, mistakes are the one that creating a path to success. You just gotta learn from it.” Raze calmly replied. They all gets closer to Raze to give him a hug, he teleported somewhere near, making they all to fall.

“Hey, I don’t think I really like a hug…especially from mares.” Raze replied. They smiled and laughed.

“Alright everyone, let’s go home.” Twilight said while looking to her friends.

“Yeah I guess we should.” Raze replied. They all start walking home as they once again, helped Raze winning against his inner demon.

After a few goodbye and goodnight, Raze sit on a chair, writing something in his log.

Raze’s New Log #2

Welp, everyone deserves a second chance. I never thought I would get it but now I did. I better use this chance for the good of us. I think it’s time for the biggest change in history. It’s time, for the new…Raze River.

Raze Objectives:

-Make up for everything I did

-Find a way to gain money

-Move out and live in our own house

-Find the purpose…of my cutie marks

Cutie mark…that what make Raze feel uncomfortable. He gained his cutie mark when he saved the orphanage from danger. But what is the purpose of his phoenix cutie mark? What is the purpose of his mark?

“Welp…I guess we’ll find out sooner or later.” Raze walked towards his bed. He lies in his bed and took a sleep. In the midnight when everyone is asleep including Raze, his cutie marks starts to glow, giving a signal that nobody would expect. For now, the story, is about to begin.
