When Starlight Glimmer came before Princess Twilight Sparkle and the other Bearers of Harmony for judgement due to her crimes, she never could have imagined the indescribable torment that it would unexpectedly bring to her. Now she is trapped in eternal darkness, tormented by her horrific memories and the endless guilt of what she has done and all the lives she ruined and destroyed.

But even as darkness and despair destroys all and swallows her up… somewhere out there, there is still a light at the end of the tunnel. One which finds the poor mare, and will bring her home.
