I apologise in advance for my poor English and this chapter is quite violent to show the tone in which violent scenes will be described. The whole story won't be that violent because it will be a romance but it's such a warning chapter
Introduction
Before the world heard of King Arthur and fell to its knees in fear of the Black Death, the Nomaratans lived one legend. So terrifying and beautiful at the same time that they could not stop telling it. I myself enjoyed listening to this legend. It was the story of a certain fierce and handsome man who could not chase away women and men, who laid claim to the throne. He lived very modestly and helped everyone. Always smiling, he would run away from the palace to help the simple folk with crops and labor even though this was handled by guards and special volunteers. The prince, however, deep down was.... unhappy. His heart was empty. No treasures, prosperity or food could fill it for him. The prince wanted ... love. Unfortunately. Everyone he loved loved him for becoming a ruler. He just wanted ordinary, true love. Every night he cried and prayed to the Gods that he wanted to finally know love.... Which was to happen eventually. Unfortunately, it was to be an unhappy love.
Once upon a time when he was strolling through the courtyard of the castle he noticed someone. From a distance he could tell it was no ordinary man. All pale, wearing black robes and a scythe in one hand. It was death itself. He knew it was forbidden to look at such entities, but he couldn't look away. The very face of death was so wonderful to him that he could not look away. The being in the black robe looked straight at him. It said nothing but disappeared. The prince, who had finally found his love, wanted to see her more often. Unhappily, he saw how to achieve this. He began to... murder. At each death he saw his beloved Once he even gave the essence a ring asking her to marry him. Death could not agree but they were happy to see each other. Therefore, the prince murdered. He murdered more often and more.... all for love.
Such a turn of events did not please the life that watched it. It was very upset with the young man's attitude. He did not respect life. A creation that it created itself and such was its pride. Therefore, life decided to punish the man. It cast a curse of insanity on him. From then on it got worse and worse. Murders didn't go his way. He was caught several times. His family didn't understand what had happened to him. They tried to talk to him but he seemed as if possessed. His love and madness blinded him. Then the queen his mother stripped him of his right to the throne. The royal court ordered him executed. No one wanted that, not even the queen. Unfortunately, it was too late and he fled. However, he left something on the wall of his room that no one expected. There was a lost prophecy of the family. How he knew about it is unknown, but one thing was certain. The end of the Valorez family was coming
When I was young I was always puzzled by one thing. Why every ruler in the history of our country was an excellent warrior. Why every man, woman and person was trained from an early age to be a great warrior. At the time I didn't understand it... But now... as I stand in front of a castle that has been deserted for hundreds of years I am beginning to understand. The loss of one's family hurts. It hurts a hell of a lot. It is not without reason that our country is called Nomarat which means family in our language. Our location in Eastern Europe on the border with Belarus and Russia also gave a lot of thought to why we were trained even though our roots were planted there first.
We have fought many wars in our history. I participated in several myself. Everyone regretted the invasion of our country. Ruthlessness, strength and fury, and love for one's country are values instilled in our soldiers from the moment they choose to be. It made us join in with the sea. That and the fact that Russia begged for our troops to stop attacking it. Nevertheless, we always tried to maintain good international relations. The best were with Spain and Poland. Both of these countries also put up candidates for a partner for the ruler. Blood was stirred but all these countries remained independent.
Unfortunately, our pride did not last as long as we would have liked. Since the Black Sheep of our lineage betrayed us.... everything has changed. Beautiful landscapes lost their meaning and charm when full-scale war began to consume us.... Amazing culture became propaganda of war, the effects of which are still felt today.... Or the wealth that may have led to the end of my family. A family how noble because doing everything to make peace last as long as possible.
The Valorez family... for that was their name, lived in the castle "Kaśćuz Zakanść", or Castle of the Proud Warrior. We were the pride of Nomarat. We were considered by many to be the best dynasty that ever ruled. Thanks to us, prosperity and peace reigned. It is a pity that more than once it was brought about by blood. Especially during the reign of Great Alexandra the Valiant, who also took part like the rest of the rulers in battles just like the entire family of the kingdom. And why? Because we all had amazing abilities, which were called "Gift of Alpha". That is, the Gift of the alpha. And what is an alpha? An alpha is a being who founded our dynasty thanks to his son. Andromeda. The so-called First, who defeated a great evil and was hailed as king.
Her teachings passed down from the First were read to the next generation and the next and from her teachings it was clear, being yourself is the most important thing. One cannot renounce one's self. One must believe in oneself and seek help when one is lost and cannot find a way out. When someone has wronged us one should only try to reason with them once and if that doesn't work why should we be supposedly better and do nothing to them? Exactly like with transgressions. The punishment should be the same as the deed.
For many years the dynasty did not have to exact revenge despite several invasions. Everyone... including me, tried to rule and serve peacefully. However. In every family there is a Black sheep. And such a sheep in the dynasty was precisely Andromeda Valorez. My grandson, whom I could not protect from myself. The second oldest of her siblings. A battle-scarred figure with an athletic not-too-muscular stature. His black hair combed into a ponytail contrasted slightly with his brown eyes. However, one of his more distinctive features was a scar on the right side of his mouth and a mole on the left side of his nose. He always wore the same outfit, which was gold, sizable earrings on his ears and a blue silk tunic decorated with drawings of twigs. And the pants were hand-woven, long red ones similar to modern tracksuits and leather shoes.
He didn't like, he said, the older brother.... Christiansen the Righteous gained authority. One fateful night he went to the bedroom of his brother and his family.... What he did... Defiled our name. He murdered them all in cold blood. When morning came, we were all terrified. They easily established the truth however he was gone. He was pursued for many years. At that time the dynasty had a formidable enemy who made even greater enemies for them. Fortunately, he was caught and executed. However, and this is not entirely certain. I didn't see the trial myself. At the time, I really hoped that this was the end of our problems. Per Alpha. How wrong I was then....
When the dynasty ended through abdication it was easy to find people who wanted to know everything about us. If they sold information or the remains of members they would make a fortune. Others simply harbored hatred towards us for some of the mistakes of the past....
I was so close to escaping. So close and it didn't work out. They caught me just when I was almost running away. I was thrown in front of a masked, well-built woman in military rags to my knees. I landed in a puddle of water. A squalid place but I could see how this gang treated me. Normally I have a snow-white hair. One eye that was previously white has already been covered with dried blood and the other is still orange. I am quite frail so I had no chance to defend myself. From this position I was able to see the blood dripping from my head into a puddle making it brown. I don't even want to look at my torn clothes anymore, which I was barely wearing anyway.
"What is your name?" Spoke up the woman in a rather shrill voice. "I asked something." she hissed.
"Speak up bastard!" Shouted apparently her subordinate as he pounded me with a leaf. With great pain I stopped the scream.
"L Leslaw" I answered uncertainly.
"Leslaw what?" The irritated woman tried to inquire. "It's not a typical Spanish name." I can't tell them....
"I am ... from Poland."
"Poland? You do not look. And the name?"
She asked in a very sharp almost hissy tone. I was slightly frightened by it. I knew that one day I would face the Wolves, but I hoped that I would at least learn my powers so that I could somehow defend myself. "V Tarnowski." I replied
"Tarnowski? And the other one?"
"W, what other one?" No, no, no! I wasn't supposed to say that. Why did I have to jerk such a stupid thing. Now it's sure to kill me....
"You stammered V. What's the other one?"
"V Valorez." It barely made it through my throat because of the fear that fell away from me.
"A two-part name. To confuse. Not bad. People. A special guest!"
There was a roar and laughter in the room. Gunshots could also be heard. Every bang was unbearable for me. If they knew that I have autism and am sensitive to it, they are using it well against me. I covered my ears but it still didn't do anything.... I just started crying to their laughter. "Stop it! I beg you! Don't do anything to me!" I screamed in agony.
"It is my dear Mrs. Tura who will decide. And stop crying!"
I couldn't stop. They did not stop so I obviously pissed her off. I kicked me in the face with such force that I felt several teeth knocked out. Barely conscious, she grabbed me by my ragged T-shirt and started dragging me into a room where a large, slim figure stood at the end at a table. I immediately regained consciousness knowing who she was. Terror even possessed me as I tried to break free from her grasp. "I begged! Not her!"
"She just wants to meet you.... Don't cry poo poo or it will get worse!"
She kicked me in the stomach and threw me to the floor. A thin trickle of blood flowed out of my mouth. I honestly don't know if this is the result of a kick to the face or the stomach. I can barely feel both, but the fear worked harder than the pain. In terror I still tried to escape, but two massive men pinned me to the ground, and the woman who took me here swung a crowbar at me.
"What do you want Riz?"
It was not without reason that she frightened me so much. I can't be surprised. It's Chrysalis. The wolf butcher of Wolves. No one will get out alive from where she is.... and this voice was even more frigid than my previous one Kat. I can hear in her hatred and venom so powerful that even the worst criminal would shudder. I had heard all sorts of things about her, and that's why I preferred Tura more, who wasn't here. This is the one I feared more. A monster who kills for fun and takes pleasure in torture. I know what she did to my cousin Leo and I don't want a repeat. Riz dismissed the crowbar and looked at her with mild surprise. "Where is Ms. Tura?"
"She needs to arrange something. And now. I presume this is Valorez?"
"Yes ma'am."
"And the other one used somehow?"
"Malden."
"One of the most popular Spanish names. Did you really think you could hide?" She turned around. She had a scar across her face on the right side. Dark blue hair, not too long pulled back, and unpainted lips. Her eyes were green. She had a black unbuttoned jacket, and underneath it a black T-shirt, which also has a bulletproof vest on it. As if she was telling you herself. Come on. Shoot. You do it then the fun begins. Her pants were ripped jeans and her shoes were glans. "I have been looking for you for a long time. Mrs. Tura will be very pleased. I think this is our lucky day!"
"Are you sure it's one of them and not some clone" Riz asked
"Yeah. I'm sure." she said looking at me. "The facial features characteristic of them.... Heterochromia of the eyes and most importantly of the hair. White and brown color. These are their characteristics."
"I won't tell you anything. I'd rather die sold than give you anything." This. Saying something like that to her was practically a death sentence but no. Leo didn't give in so easily then I won't either.... however, this was not the reaction I expected. She smiled.
"For a twelve-year-old, you're barked out what? Death is what you will beg for but for now listen. We can do it quickly. Then it will be just a shot." She moved closer to my ear. "I think you know what the second version is. Let him go"
He let me go and then, not knowing why, a new dose of adrenaline flowed into me. Sudden courage reached my brain and without thinking I punched her in the jaw with all my strength. This apparently surprised her but me unfortunately, it came at a cost. One of her men took me by the arm and pinned me to the ground so hard that it broke my arm. I roared in pain but stopped when Riz pointed her gun at me. She didn't shoot, however, after we heard her laugh.
"Whoa" she laughed some more. "That. That was something. You've got a pretty good brawn for a brat. Really. I guess that name of yours gives you courage huh? In Nomarat, Valor means brave. Is that why you carry it?"
"In my language Valorez means Hope...."
"Lovely. And what are you hoping for now?"
"I'm not afraid of you..."
There was a moment of silence, which really gave me hope that someone would save me. However, no. No one came. Chrysalis just looked at me as she tried to see something.
"You're not afraid?" She laughed. "You're not afraid" She kicked against the ground so that a loud bang resounded and she brought her face closer to mine. "YOU'RE NOT Scared BRAT!?"
I know hope is the mother of fools but this time I really believed it. I wanted to run away and hope for luck.... or at least that someone would shoot me and it would be the end of the nightmare but it didn't work. She caught up with me. With her momentum, she grabbed my jaw and pinned me to the wall so that I felt a silent crack. "Respect shit. You understand?!" I did not manage to speak out of fear. "You understand?!"
Suddenly, with all the strength she had, she started hitting my face against the wall screaming. I cried and begged for it to stop but she did it anyway and laughed. After a few times of her merciless beating it was so bad that my skin was left on the wall. I didn't feel it but I knew it was my end. However, she finally threw me on the floor. She hit me in the face a few times so that I coughed up blood. She kicked me in the nose. It was broken. I felt it perfectly but she poked my eye out with one finger. I couldn't stop myself from screaming because the pain was unimaginable.
"Please Madam Chrysalis. Ms. Tura I want him alive. "Rizz calmly said in her direction. She looked at her then at me. She smiled grabbing my hair and threw me into the middle of the room. I fell on my broken arm. I only had the strength to curl up and silently cry and beg Alpha to have mercy on me.
"Alpha I beg you to come. I beg. Well my courage let someone come"
"It won't do you any good." She said, approaching me and her footsteps reverberated around the room and the closer she got I shuddered more.
"For my sake give me strength..."
"Shut your mouth child." She approached me.
"On my humility help..."
"Shut up" She roared, forcing me to look at her, but my sobs couldn't quite make it possible. "I TOLD YOU TO SHUT UP OR IT WILL BE WORSE" I was no longer able to say anything out of fear. " Now listen, kid. Agree with the fact that no one will come for you. Alpha has set you up. You mean nothing to her. It will be easier this way.... You're going to die anyway and just because you survived what you're going through now doesn't mean you'll make it at all."
All the while having my gaze turned to the ground my tears mixed with the blood in my eye that still remained. Am I alone? What if I am the last one? What if I let everyone down? What if Alpha hates us because I did something wrong? No. There has to be someone. I'm going to die and maybe it's better this way..."You won't get them. And even if they do, they have something special..."
"A. I know it. That's why you're here." Our powers. She knows that. But if she knows about it then.... my brain suddenly lit up. I looked at her when she smiled disgustingly. "Well, you are starting to think."
"Fuck you!"
All the gangsters looked at me like one man and drew their weapons. I scowled even more but Chrysalis gestured for them to stop.
"You are brave. I like it." She pulled out a gun and put it to my head. "I think you know what I want."
"In life I will not tell you where they are"
"I know where some of them are hiding. But only some of them. And now I advise you well. Say" She lowered the gun to my stomach. "It will hurt a lot."
"No! You are lying that you know!"
I can't tell her that. I can't. What if she's bluffing? I'd rather she kill me than get my family.
"My people are already looking for them. Your beloved little sister in Mexico the fuck knows where, And the rest somewhere in America or Nomarat. Meaning maybe. I'm not one hundred percent sure they haven't already been hit."
She continued to look into my eyes expecting information from me. She twirled the gun then put it to my head. "Then, why haven't you killed me yet?"
"I think I'm saying. I don't know where the rest of them are and what I want to know most is about the two of them.... Where are Sasha and Emma Valorez. They have vanished into thin air."
"How do you know their names?"
"From this necklace." She showed me a necklace with the inscription Sasha Rules." And Emma. Well. It was easy to find in your house. Then where are they?"
You can see that she is determined enough to find them all. This woman is crazy and the one she works for even more so, and I know it well. Every one of her employees is afraid of her. She's unbalanced, which means she has some kind of goal she's so fiercely pursuing.
"Why do you care so much about killing my family?" This question was probably stupid, but Chrysalis just smiled and stroked my head. A shiver ran through me but I didn't show it.
"Let's just say that we will both gain from it. Now tell me."
"I have no idea, but they escaped. You won't find them."
"This young Sasha escaped us despite being fatally shot. By what miracle?"
"I don't know. But since she escaped and the rest are also alive they will come back. And they will kill you whine!"
"Hmmm. such language in the face of death. You are either so brave or so stupid. Crush his testicles."
"Chief. But he's only twelve years old." one of his subordinates either wanted to defend me which I doubt or such a thing will hurt him himself.
"We have done worse things with younger ones. Riz. You do it."
"As the lady instructs" She agreed without stammering.
She came up from behind and pulled down my pants. I tried to break free but they held me too well and I was weak. She pressed the gun to one of my testicles slowly squeezing it. Each second the pain became more and more intense. I couldn't stand it and had to start crying out in pain. In the process I could hear it slowly bursting making it even worse. I can't compare it to anything but I have never felt so much pain in my life. For a moment I managed to open my eyes making my teeth clench tighter. So hard that their clacking became stronger and stronger. Every guy and even the women in the room turned around. Finally they heard the crack and my roar of pain, the likes of which they were certain they had never heard before. I couldn't stop crying and breathing deeply. Unfortunately, Chrysalis did not allow me such comfort for long. She grabbed me by the jaw and smacked me.
"So what? Are you going to tell?"
"Why should I say?" I sobbed out between sobs. "You will kill me anyway." I barely said through the pain.
"Yes. But I can jump it now. Or make it last much longer" She waved her head to Riz and pressed the gun handle to my other testicle. Bloody tears came to my eye again but no. I will not betray them. "Last chance. Consider it my show of mercy" She does not have to wait long for an answer.
"No matter what pain you inflict on me.... I will never betray my family."
Chrysalis looked at me furiously, and just as she was about to tell me to squash the other we all heard.... A humming. A slow quiet humming coming from a dark room. After a while it stopped.... and then immediately afterwards from again. I saw what it meant so I prepared for the end of my pain. What was special about this humming was that I could hear heavy footsteps until I finally saw a figure almost two meters tall in the room. She was a slight white figure with jet black hair, dark brown eyes and her face was decorated with a scar on the right side of her mouth. whose upper lip was painted black. She was dressed in a purple flowing coat that was unbuttoned and underneath it was a dark T-shirt with a wolf's face in the middle. She had glans on her feet and fingerless gloves on her hands. She walked up to me and looked at me with superiority.
"Trying to get something out of him but standing up all the time." She kicked me in the stomach.
Honestly that kick was better than anything they did to me here. Tura smiled and knelt down taking me by the face. She looked at me for a moment but I didn't say anything. "N... I won't tell you anything."
Tura continued to stare without saying a word. She seemed to be trying to hypnotize me with her gaze but finally she spoke up.
"Do you know why I'm on top" She asked in a calm light voice, and for a moment I didn't feel like I was in a terrifying trap. This question seemed strange and as if not directed at me but even if it was, I didn't want to speak up. "You are too susceptible to pain" She glanced at Chrysalis.
She smiled and in one second grabbed my fingers and crushed my bones in a powerful embrace. Blood splashed on every side as pieces of bone pierced the skin. Once again I roared in pain but she covered my mouth.
"Quietly. It's already there. See? Pain makes you weak. I know how to tame it. That's why I'm on top. Besides... believe me. Alpha won't come. He hates us."
At first I didn't hear what she said. I could only sob when my fingers of my right hand are all so damaged that I can't even move them out of pain. A couple of people had to come out and vomit. Mostly because of the view but the crack itself even hurt them.... But soon. She said... us?
"Say what we want. Then this nightmare will end."
"Okay." I said with great pain, knowing that it would not end otherwise. "I will tell everything I know just let it end."
"Good boy." With extreme disgust I felt her lick my neck and grab my crotch causing me pain" So?"
"Maybe they have powers."
"Powers? Emma I understand, but the young one so quickly?"
"I don't know. All I know is that Sasha has been very restless for some time."
"It's her seed..."
"I beg. Kill me now." I know my pleas are pathetic but I have no choice. If I want a quick death then I must.
"You see? You should have done so right away. And unfortunately you kept silent. And for that there will be punishment."
"W What? Please don't."
"Take him to the execution"
"I beg you not! I beg you!"
"Move you shit!"
"I'm doing you a favor that you will die faster."
The woman shot me in my other testicle and knee. I fell down crying and begging for it to stop. She started dragging me along with the others. Crying covered my eyes and my thoughts were flooded with pleas to Alpha. I was also able to hear what they were saying.
"What now" Asked Riz Tura
"Inform Sombra that we are starting the Alfa death project."
"Of course" She went.
She looked at me when I was dragged there. I tried to scream and beg but only crying came out of my throat. I couldn't say anything but Tura's hand went as if in darkness.
"And so it began. I can't stop it anymore, but okay. Little turd. Tell Alpha that Andromeda Valorez greets..."
The last thing I saw before I was pulled in was the black blade that was thrown at me. For a moment I thought it was over, that nothing more would happen. However... I saw only darkness.... and soon I could no longer feel anything.
