Pinkie was pleasantly awoken when her ears where assaulted with a beautiful serenade, it sounded richly like a combination of piano and masculine singing. Her mind kicked itself onto autopilot as she clambered of her bed and slowly descended down the stairs. She could slowly make out the lyrics as she got closer to the source.

As she entered the living room she finally saw Spike, he was pounding on the keyboard as he sang. Pinkie thought the song seemed familiar and as Spike sang the next part of the song it suddenly hit her.

Pinkie started to sing the next part; Spike had jumped slightly but calmed down after looking at Pinkie.

Spike just smiled at Pinkie and continued tapping out the keys on the piano as he sang the next part together with his beloved party addict.

Pinkie then slowly moved across and sat next to Spike on his seat as she sang the next part.

The sun is hot in the sky just like a giant spotlight the people follow the signs and synchronize in time it’s a joke nobody knows, they've got a ticket to the show

Pinkie draped herself over her much loved drake as the male in question followed up to the song.

Pinkie quickly smooched Spike on the lips before she continued the train of vocal sounds.

As soon as they finished Spike covered his piano then grabbed Pinkie and locked his lips on hers once again, she melted into it incredibly quickly but oxygen demanded that they do not stick together for more than a minute.

“Thanks again Spike for last night, you really are my Spikey Wikey!”

Spike smiled as bright as day and once again embraced her in a hug that seeped the warmth of love.

“Of course my angelic baker!”

Spike nuzzled Pinkie and let her find out how much he truly cares for her. He kissed Pinkie softly on the lips. Pinkie started to tear up slightly as she realized everything Spike meant to her, he stuck for her when obviously two other mares, beautiful at that, would kill just to have him for one night. He cared for her deeply and was probably even more loyal than Rainbow Dash.

Spike was in a different sort of emotional turmoil as he saw Pinkie cry, he slowly kissed those tears away.

“Please don’t cry, did I do anything wrong?”

Pinkie just smiled and tore up a little more at Spike’s obliviousness. She once again kissed Spike on the lips, something he easily accepted but had to finish once they needed to breathe once again.

“I am just incredibly happy you are with me Spike, I never thought you would fall for me my draconian knight in shining scales!”

Spike blushed and started rubbing Pinkie on the back. Spike decided to make a retreat from the mushy stuff.

“Hey Pinkie shall I make breakfast now?”

Pinkie was just about to utter no and ask to cuddle more but her stomach growled in defiance, Spike just smiled and walked to the kitchen to prepare their food. After an hour they had finished dining and were now snuggling on the couch in the living room. Pinkie was resting her head on Spike’s warm belly as Spike slowly combed Pinkie’s mane making the pink pony moan in ecstasy.

“So Spike where did you get that piano?”

Spike just drifted off into memory lane as memories of the piano came to him.
“It was a gift to me by Celestia, it was a magic piano that could shrink down and I just say something to enlarge or shrink again.”

Pinkie just smiled and spoke the topic out loud.
“What do you have to say?”
Spike’s lips drew back and his sharp fangs shown as he smiled in glee. He then shouted loudly.
“Te Amo!”

The piano slowly shrank into a small cube and Pinkie just clapped at the funny little sight. Having her curiosity answered she slowly sank back into the warmth that was Spike’s muscular and simply divine chest, but she finally decided to ask the question that was bugging her mind since the events that transpired yesterday.

“What are we going to do Spike?”

“Hmf?”

“I mean what happens to us once we get back to Ponyville? What happens when you go back to stay in the library or when we see Rarity again?”

Spike didn’t want to think about that, he just wanted to snuggle with his loved one but he realized how important the issue was. After a minute of pondering he finally answered.

“I don’t know Pinkie; we will just have to think once we are back.”

Spike didn’t want to think on the issue but he knew how much trouble will brew in Ponyville upon their return to the small town.

Pinkie seemed to accept the answer for the meantime as she kissed Spike again.

As Spike looked at Pinkie he realized that no matter what happened he would fight for his right to be with Pinkie, even if it meant fighting a deranged Rarity or an anguished Twilight he would finally stand up for someone who cared for him. Fate after all was created by one who took charge of its reigns and led the crusade for the heart.

Even if it took an eternity he would always battle for Pinkie’s right to be with him, his right to be with her. He realized how much he truly loved the pink pony and he smiled as he grabbed a small box out of his pocket. He knew it was too early to even THINK about marriage but he knew that it would solve some of his problems, mainly the problem of other mares. He decided on his decision last night after Pinkie fell asleep after her little nightmare, the ring was given to him by Twilight as she teleported the small box from Rarity’s bag into her just before Spike flew away, the ring that he planned to propose to Rarity with, even if it was full of bad memories it was still a magnificent ring.

“Hey Pinkie?”
Pinkie looked at him happily.

“Yeah?”

Spike started to sweat slightly as he get more nervous, actions Pinkie saw so she just kissed Spike again and that seemed to calm him down.

“Will you marry me?”

Not a moment later did all of Cloudsdale awoke to the sound of a screaming yes from the element of laughter. It was on that day did the union of a dragon and pony got set in stone and ready for the future.

Meanwhile

Celestia was looking at her magic mirror and smiled at her “son”.

“He is so grown up now; I wished I was there at the beginning of his troubles.”

Another voice replied and a dark blue alicorn appeared out of the shadows.

“Well why didn’t you sister?”

Before Celestia could reply Luna had once again answered her question for her as she smiled at the princess of the sun.

“I know, because you wanted him to learn from his troubles, to make him stronger and prepared for all of Equestria’s challenges especially now that he is getting married.”

Celestia smiled warmly for the first time in months, her sister was always so smart, able to notice things quickly.

“Well Tia I will now be off as I have to start the wedding arrangements now that you are in a comatose state, ta-ta!”

She trotted off just before the words sank into Celestia’s mind and she squealed “Hey!” reminiscent of a little filly before running to her sister’s side to help in the arrangements.”
