Author's Note
And so it begins. Not with a whimper or the whine of steel. But with an explosion, the stench of death and gunfire, and a terrified little mare being forced to leave everything behind.
Join Ruby, a little mare from Stable 077, as her adventures in the Wasteland begin. Located within the etchings and scrawling's of this tome are instances of sex, death, debauchery and kink the likes of which has not been seen in Equestria for a thousand years. Will Ruby survive her adventure in the Wasteland of the once beautiful world of Equestria? Or will her adventure end with a belch?

Ruby was, for lack of a better term, a slut. Her Stable, Stable 077, had been one of the many “Experiment” Stables. They weren’t supposed to know about the experiments, but 077 hadn’t quite been finished yet. The Headmare of the Stable had found a dossier on the terminal detailing the experiment to be done in 077. Experimenting with numerous fetishes. 077, specifically, was to experiment with a certain potentially deadly fetish.
A sigh escaped her lips as she stared at the mare and stallion in front of her. They were going at it, the stallion pounding into the mare like it was the last sex they’d ever have. If they hadn’t been given their weekly ration of Survival Pills, it would. As one of the Stables only “Switches”, Ruby was tasked with, for lack of a better word, eating one of them and then being eaten by the other. She couldn’t take part in the fucking, but once her meal was chosen, she’d swallow them with gusto. And then be swallowed in turn.
She didn’t get to choose which pony she would eat. Switches weren’t allowed to choose. Their prey was chosen for them. Either by the pony in question or by a random “Number Draw”. Every pony had a number. Ruby’s number was 3526. Her number had been called five times before to be some ponies meal. That seemed to be another quirk of their stable. Anypony that was eaten simply woke up in their bed the next morning.
After a night of agony digesting in someponies stomach or being crushed to death in their womb to be “excreted out” the next morning, Feedee’s hated their jobs. Ruby didn’t mind much. One way or another, she got a meal out of it too. There were only three Switches in the entire Stable. Herself, her younger brother, and her idol.
Cobalt, or Cob as she called her pest of a brother, was a prey slut. She was sure that someday he was gonna end up as a permanent addition on some pony’s ass. Not that he was against swallowing ponies either, but he was pretty specific about who he swallowed. Mares only. Which was unfortunate for Ruby, because due to the random number draw, her number had been paired with his more times than she cared to count.
On the one hoof, fucking him and then being eaten meant no incest babies. On the other hoof, he was her kid brother. Which meant he bragged about fucking and eating his sister for days afterwards. At least until his number was called again. Then he usually stayed quiet. Like her, he was a Switch. Her entire family was. It was the curse of being born past the double-digit rooms. All the families in the triple-digit rooms were switches. They either ate, or got eaten.
Her sister Sapphire, or Saph as Ruby called her, was pure pred. When she wanted to be. She tried her best to stay out of stomachs. She didn’t like how cramped, smelly and slimy they were. She’d eaten her fair share of suitors, coming home with a swaying, struggling stomach. Dad always yelled at her about it. At least until his number was called for the final time. He was born to a pred family in the Double Zero wing of the Stable. All preds.
Ruby couldn’t recall how many times she and her entire family had spent an entire week in his intestines. But his final call, his final number, had seen him entering the Double Zero wing again. This time as prey. His predator had been his own mother. She’d requested him as her last meal. She was dying of old age, but she wanted one final delicious meal before she went. And her dear son now lived in a Prey Wing. He was on the menu.
Ruby’s mom had gone with him. It was tradition in 077 for a spouse to witness his or her significant other’s final moments. For three days, Ruby had thought her mom wouldn’t come home. That she’d also meet her end in her grandmother’s stomach. But the Double Zero denizens knew better. Devouring a pony not on your ticket was against Stable Law. Not only would you be summarily executed but your entire family would be exiled. Snotty as her grandmother was, Ruby knew she wouldn’t subject her only grandchildren to the Wasteland.
After those three days, Ruby’s mother returned with a sack. In the sack were the remains of her father, to be buried deep within the stable. They took him deep into the catacombs, an undeveloped section within the Stable that still had rock walls, a dirt floor, and a deep pit. The pit is where Ruby’s mother threw the sack. Digging was prohibited by any but the Stable Expansion Department. The pit was there to dispose of corpses or remains. That was how the deceased were buried. Tossed into the pit and forgotten.
That had been five years ago. Today, Ruby herself was well into her adult years. Her 19th birthday had come and gone. She was an adult mare now. Capable of finding a partner, starting a family, or being reduced to waste to be tossed into the pit. A guttural cry reached her ears, and she looked up. The stallion was finishing. He wasn’t spilling his seed inside the mare. He was dumping his load on her teats. That was a no-no. Ruby leapt into action.
Sure she was there to eat one of them and be eaten by another, but her official job in the Stable was as an Enforcer. When two ponies were selected to fuck, it was supposed to be to produce another pony for the Stable’s stability. Another worker. A stallion dumping his load on a mare’s tits was expressly forbidden. Dumping his load in her ass was frowned upon, as was filling her stomach with his load and nothing more. The mare watched as Ruby wrestled her former partner to the floor.
Both of them knew what came next. He’d broken the rules. In front of an Enforcer. Ruby unclasped her body armor with her weaker than average magic, opened her maw and shoved the stallion’s head down her throat. He struggled and fought, lashing out with his hooves. Ruby was too well trained. When one of his hooves was in reach of her own, she grasped it, pressed it against his barrel and shoved him further in. Within a few well practiced swallows, he was down. Her stomach bulged with the size of him.
The taste of the two ponies mixed juices almost made Ruby gag. She’d never been a fan of stallions. Especially ones who liked to pump and run. Mares were her favorite. She was sure it was genetics, but mares really liked to be eaten. Stallions fought more, unless they were chosen as meals.
A contented sigh left Ruby’s lips before she remembered. If she ate one pony, the other would eat her. Sighing again, this time in annoyance, she stared at the mare. She licked her lips and gestured for Ruby to remove the indigestible armor. A flick of her small horn and the armor fell off. Thankfully, the mare gathered it up, folded and piled it neatly next to the bed and then returned to Ruby.
“Thanks. Now I won’t need to explain why it’s all rump…” Ruby’s words caught in her throat as the mare lunged forward. An earth pony mare, she was thicker built than Ruby and slightly larger. Ok, quite a bit larger. Ruby had always been on the smaller side. Which had made her superior officers wonder why she’d wanted to be a security mare. Let alone an Enforcer. She’d proven herself by soundly handling one of the largest security guards on the force. A huge earth pony stallion named, believe it or not, Iron Gut.
He'd lunged at her, she lit her horn, grasped his foreleg and hefted him over her head, throwing him bodily into the lockers behind her. Comparing the two of them, size wise, if Iron had swallowed her, no pony would know. Other than the bulge. She could lay flat on his back with her forelegs on either side of his neck and her hind hooves wouldn’t go past his rump.
Ruby stared at the pulsating walls of flesh around her head. Of all the times to be small but stuffed, this one was the best. A mare was swallowing her. Soon she’d swallow the stallion in her gut as well and Ruby could curl up and enjoy herself. At least as best as she could. Strong swallows echoed around her as the mare swallowed her. The stallion was no problem, though the squeezing made Ruby’s tummy upset.
Once she was deposited, wholly, in the mare’s stomach, she set to work. As the stallion had broken the rules, he was free to be digested. The small red unicorn knew it wouldn't make her grow any bigger. It never did. But not having to worry about a meal for a few days would benefit her entire family. Lighting her horn, Ruby started rubbing herself with her magic. Her hooves wouldn’t reach, not with a belly full of rule breaker, but her horn was good with manipulating small objects.
Hours later, Ruby’s stomach was soft, smaller, and squishy. The mare had politely released her, as was the agreement. As Ruby left, she requested a return visit, off the books, just to have some fun. Ruby said she’d think about it. It wasn’t strictly against the rules, but going off the books meant she could become ass fat. She walked down the halls of the Stable, her uniform back on but her stomach padding strapped to her side. Until she worked the stallion off, she’d be on paid leave and couldn’t wear her uniform. For now, she had to return it to the Security Station near the Medical Station.
As she approached the foyer of the Stable, she heard the hustle and bustle of everyday commotion. Ponies shopping, ponies mingling, exercise machinery working, mess hall in operation. She smiled as the noise got louder. Medical was right next door to her favorite restaurant in the mess hall. As she approached it, she sighed. Her sister was working the restaurant today. If she saw Ruby, she’d call for a lunch break, rush over all friendly like, strip her sister bare and swallow her for the entire Stable to see.
None of the restaurants had a set staff. If a pony was good at cooking or serving meals, they worked the restaurant if they chose to. Ducking behind ponies, which was easy for the small red unicorn, Ruby made it safely to the Security Station. Slipping quickly inside, she ducked behind the lockers and tucked her things away. She didn’t even hear the hoofsteps approaching from behind.
“Officer Ruby.” She nearly leapt out of her skin hearing her commander. Spinning quickly, Ruby almost smacked the commander in the face as she saluted.
“Commander Raven, ma’am.”
“Why are you sneaking around? You are supposed to be handling those two Selected. Why aren’t you still there, in a stomach?”
“Ma’am, the stallion broke the rules. He finished on the mare’s teats.”
“Instead of in her sex. Very well Officer. Good work. Back to my first question. Why are you sneaking around?”
“Ma’am, I’d really prefer to not spend the rest of my evening in my sister’s stomach, ma’am.” Ruby said, gesturing out the window at the restaurant next door. Raven looked out the window and sighed.
“Fine. Slip out the back way to return home. And don’t…”
What Commander Raven was going to say was cut off as an explosion rocked the Foyer. Without a word, the two ponies grabbed the nearest weapons, a pair of security batons, and rushed out of the security office. Waddled in Ruby’s case. Ponies were scattering, screaming, panicking. The Stable Door had been blown open. Chunks of it had crashed into the middle of the Foyer. The Wasteland had come inside with a bang.
Strangers rushed in through the now open doorway. Smaller explosions nearly deafened Ruby as the strangers waved around guns. These weren’t stunning weapons like the Stable used. Iron balls penetrated ponies, severed limbs, opened innocents like they were cans of food. Commander Raven roared in defiance, raising her stun baton as she charged an invader. Ruby’s eyes went wide as the invader leveled his gun on the Commander and fired.
Her world seemed to go silent as Commander Raven fell. The hole in her head gave Ruby an unobstructed view of the invader that had killed her. He was wearing some cobbled-together armor that didn’t look like it could protect from anything. Everything around her slowed down as Ruby watched these invaders slaughter the citizens. Gun shots caused ponies limbs to come off, heads to explode, bodies to flail into food stalls.
Suddenly she was grabbed from behind and yanked into a restaurant, the door slamming closed behind her. “Ruby, wake up!” Her sister was yelling in her face. Instead of eating her outright. She was also clipping something onto her foreleg. A Pip-Buck. Only the Head Mare and Officials were allowed to have one.
“How…” Ruby tried to ask but her sister stopped her with a hoof to her mouth.
“Shut up, no time. You need to go. Get out of the Stable and run. Find grandad. There’s a map on the Pip-Buck. It will lead you to him. Leave the Stable, get as far away as you can and don’t look back.” Sapphire said as she clipped the Pip-Buck onto her sister’s foreleg. “This has one charge of a Stealth-Buck. Use it to get out.”
“But…”
“Ruby, they’re going to kill everypony. You need to leave. Now. While they’re distracted.” Sapphire said. Ruby stared at her sister as the mare that would normally be trying to swallow her whole peeked out of a window. She looked back and sighed. “If I make it out of this, I’ll find you. I promise. But you need to leave. Now.” Sapphire said, snapping out the last word. Ruby finally swallowed her fear and nodded. The two of them waited until a group of the invaders had walked past the door before slipping out.
It made her gag, but the two of them used corpses to blend in as they snuck towards the open doorway. Swallowing a pony whole was one thing. This wanton death, all of the blood and brain matter and feces, was something else. Ponies had pissed and shit themselves as they died. The two of them stopped, freezing completely still as a pair of invaders walked near them. The two invaders stopped to chat when one of them, a mare with pure white wings, caught Sapphire’s eye.
Suddenly the mare turned her gun on her ally and fired. He fell like a rock and the mare turned to Sapphire. “Figured I’d find a pair of gems in all of this mess.” She said. Sapphire stared up at the mare, hate in her eyes. “I’m guessing you want to get out of here without a hole in your head.” Sapphire said nothing but her eyes flicked to Ruby. “You want her out without dying. Fine. But you’re going to do whatever my boys say, capiche? Don’t worry, I’ll make sure they don’t kill you.” Sapphire didn’t speak, didn’t even say a word.
Suddenly the mare turned her gun on the corpse nearest Ruby and leaned down. “Run.” She said. Ruby didn’t question it. She stood and bolted. The mare fired, then fired a few shots at Ruby that missed on purpose. Ruby glanced back as Sapphire pounced on her and the two tumbled end over end. Ruby skid to a stop near the door and looked back as the mare overpowered her sister. Two stallions ran up and the mare glanced at Ruby, firing a shot that sparked into the grate near her head. A clear “fucking run”.
Ruby did, turning and bolting out of the destroyed door and into the wilderness of the Wasteland.
